Abiditory: Part 1
(n.) a hiding place or a safehouse for articles of value
So, this is my take on what the future eps of "Light On Me" could possibly, hopefully be like...
The council-room is so quiet one would think it's empty. But Shinwoo doesn't find it be uncomfortable; the silence that stretches between Woo Taekyung and him is more familiar, somehow. Things have changed after their impromptu sleepover. Beside him, Taekyung shifts and Shinwoo observes out of the corner of his eye as the former whips out his earphones. Probably to listen to one of those indie bands again. Shinwoo can't help but notice the state of the his earphones though.
"They're so tangled," he thinks and when Taekyung whips around to face him, he realises he might have just said that out loud. Well, it's too late to take it back anyhow; he wordlessly extends his palm out towards the other boy. The earphones are carefully placed in his hand and something in him warms at the thought that Taekyung is accepting his help finally, after all this time. He's halfway through another trying knot when Taekyung suddenly remarks- "so meticulous, Noh-Shinwoo" and it's said in that half-wondering, half-playful tone of his that kills Shinwoo a little inside every time he hears it.
He's fumbling for a response, wires digging into the tips of his fingers and heart burning in his throat when the door to the council room suddenly sways open. They both startle and turn. Shin Daon stands in the opening, hesitant in a way Shinwoo has never seen him before.
"Hyung," says Taekyung. Shinwoo can't help the way his gaze swings around to latch onto the speaker; can't help the way he viscerally anticipates the next few words. Until, until he realises that Taekyung has nothing more to say. A nervous Daon and a speechless Taekyung- wow, things have changed.
'I should probably leave,' Shinwoo realises. Movement at the doorway pulls his attention back; Daon is making his way towards the table, his footsteps soundless as if they would leave behind marks if they were any louder.
"Taekyung," the President replies but the boy in question isn't looking at Daon anymore; no, he's is looking at... Shinwoo.
He can't possibly leave now, not with Taekyung looking at him like that; as though he needs Shinwoo with him. The warmth from before is back with a vengeance and Shinwoo prays that it doesn't show on his face while he motions for Daon to take a seat. Taekyung, meanwhile, has adopted the air of someone totally invested in his book.
There is a beat of nervous tension; Daon doesn't seem to have expected this turn of events if the shock that flashes across his features is anything to go by. Then Daon pulls out the chair right across Taekyung and slowly settles in, tentatively placing his books on the table. It would seem comical if not for the suffocating silence in the room. There are still no words from Taekyung's side and Shinwoo is definitely not going to be the one break the ice. Sure, things may have changed but not by that much.
"Shinwoo." Daon's voice cuts through his anxious spiral. Shinwoo looks up to find Daon's eyes trained on... his hands? Why- oh, he still has Woo Taekyung's earphones. He's been twisting them without meaning to. Oh god, this is embarrassing; Shinwoo quickly shakes them free off his fingers and slips them onto Taekyung's open book, all the while feeling Daon's stare on him. Taekyung only nods at him- a silent thank you- before he resolutely goes back to 'taking notes'.
'Oh no,' thinks Shinwoo, 'am I- I'm going to be the made the referee.'
He hasn't yet finished that alarming thought before nothing short of a miracle happens. The door opens- yet again- and Shiwoon saunters in, looking a little maniacal in the eyes.
um... to be continued?

Day 117 of Earth Painting (if you get the joke I love you), and y'all. Y'all. Y'all.
Backgrounds are hard ):
So naturally I did two of them! Super messy, super sketchy, nowhere near done. They're more like thumbnails, really. Overall, I think I prefer the first one, but the second one is better balanced. And I think I know why: that tree behind Elazul weighs the entire picture to that side, but if I were to remove it things would feel less heavy/busy over there. Also the second one, I think, guides the eye to Elazul better, and from Elazul the composition leads to Pearl. Or I'm nuts and tired, one of those.

An excerpt from a lovely LoM ficlet @lozenger8 wrote as response to a prompt of mine - you can read the whole thing here. This paragraph especially stuck in my head very vividly, so I just... had to draw it, honestly. Enjoy. <3

Translation:
I’m just a boy,
What will you get by knowing me?
My situation is different.
I’ll embrace the suffering.
You and your life,
it shouldn’t go in vain.
You and your dreams,
chase them, make them come true.
You go, escape — fly to the moon.
Don’t you worry about me.
And don’t you try to stay back
by trying to know me.
I’m just a boy,
What will you get by knowing me?

May be my first ever Assamese scribble. It came to me in like seconds and I penned it down.

C.) Well… he said if you were a man you would accept your responsibilities and sign it. So, if you wouldn’t mind… -
I understand, but I’m as stubborn as he is. I’m not signing anything. And I’m sure he’s just doing this so that I might get expelled from school.
A.) Okay listen, I’m tired of all of this, sign it nod if you’re not happy, take it up with him. (Force Castiel to sign the absentee note) -
B.) What, really? I don’t want you to get expelled, forget about the note, I’ll give it back to him. (Don’t got Castiel to sign the absentee note) +
Ken
Hi (Nickname)
A.) Ken, what did you tell those girls?! +
B.) Ken, did those three girls come and bother you? +
C.) You!!! Stop telling people that nonsense! Especially those three! -
W-Well not really, I told them you were the love of my life. Then they took my pocket money too. W-Why did you ask me that? You want to go out with me?
A.) Are you crazy? Never! And if you say once more that we’re going out together, to anyone… -
B.) What do you mean they took your money? +
C.) M-Maybe, but that’s their problem, watch what you say though! +
Yes, they pushed me down on the ground and took my money, saying they wanted to go eat lunch in a restaurant instead of the cafeteria.
A.) Do you have enough money left for me? /
B.) You can’t let people do that to you! Be a man! -
C.) Did they take a lot? tell me how much and I can reimburse you if you want. +
B-But they pushed me to the ground! And there was three of them, what could I do!? Did they do something to you too?
A.) Did they give you a photocopy? /
B.) Yeah, they made fun of me! +
C.) No, no nothing happened… +
What did they do to you? If I wasn’t so afraid of them, I’d defend you!
A.) Forget about it. -
B.) It’s pointless for me to talk to you about it, you can’t even defend yourself. -
C.) Ah, it’s nothing, be careful though. +
(Basketball)
Yes! The principle asked me to. I’m sure that you chose gardening club, just like me, right?
A.) Um, well you guessed wrong. +
B.) In fact, I prefer basketball. +
C.) Well… I’m glade I chose the basketball club I guess. -
Aw… If only I had known. Do you think I could change?
A.) No! Gardening suits you! +
B.) Don’t even try it! Stop following me around everywhere! -
C.) I don’t know, you’d have to ask the principle. +
I asked the principle if I could change groups but she said no.
A.) Good thing! -
B.) Ah, that’s okay. /
C.) You’ll be taking care of flowers, that’s good too. +
I’m still disappointed though…
A.) By the way, you wouldn’t know where the basketball club is by any chance? /
B.) (Leave) /
Oh I’m sorry, I was talking about the gardening club, I don’t know where the basketball club is.
A.) Ah, that’s okay, anyone can make a mistake. I’ll go see if I can find it. +
B.) … You’re one messed up guy… -
C.) Don’t you listen? -
I know where the basketball club is!
A.) That’s alright, I know where it is. +
B.) You’re as useless as ever, I already know where it is. -
C.) Thanks, that’s nice of you but someone already showed me where it is. +
(Gardening)
You’re not pleased? But we can garden together, it’ll be great!
A.) Yes, I’m sure we’re going to have fun. +
B.) I think I’m going to ask the principle if I can change. /
C.) But I’m not going to garden with you. -
(Start discussion)
A.) Do you know anything about plants? +
B.) Do you at least know anyone in the gardening club? +
C.) Why did you choose the gardening club? -
(Nickname)! I was coming to find you bit i see you’ve found the gardening club all on your own. It’s nice, isn’t it?
A.) Oh you’re here too, should we look for something to do? +
B.) Are you still following me or what? -
C.) (Sigh) /
(Start discussion)
A.) We should split up and try to manage on our own. -
B.) I think you have to go and look for plants, in the forest! /
C.) We’ll have to look around, okay? There might be something… +
Ah, that’s really nice! I watered the plants in the schoolyard.
A.) Do you need help? +
B.) I don’t care what you do? -
C.) Okay… well, I haven’t finished yet, I’m off. +
Not much, do you need help?
A.) Maybe, how did you know? +
B.) No, not from you anyway. -
C.) Yes, can you do me a favor? +
Of course I can!
A.) Thanks Ken, you’re great (Give the note absentee note to Ken) +
B.) Hmm… no, don’t worry about it, I’ll do it myself (Keep the absentee note) /
Iris
Of course, what do you need?
A.) Can you take this note to Castiel and get him to sign it, then take it to Nathaniel please? -
B.) Nathaniel asked me to get Castiel to sign this absentee note… I’m not sure how to go about it. +

Here is the solution guide for episode 2! (Attention: it doesn’t provide you with the answers to increase your lov’o’meters with the boys you like the most.)
________________________________________________________________
Go and complain to three boys about Amber.
You must go talk to the three boys (Ken, Nathaniel and Castiel) at least once.
The dialogues about Amber are automatic.
Once you have spoken to the three boys return to the main hallway where you will find the principal and the mission will be validated.
Find the club of your choice.
The principal gives you the choice between two clubs: the gardening club and the basketball club. It’s up to you to choose.
________________________________________________________________
~The Basketball Club~
Find the club
Castiel will guide you to the basketball club. You must talk to him until he brings you.
Mission: Find the 5 basketballs
You need to find 5 basketballs in the high school.
Three balls are in the courtyard, one in the classroom, and one in the main hallway.
Tumblr media
>Once you have the 5 balls, in order to validate the mission, you must find Castiel who will tell you where to bring the balls.
________________________________________________________________
~The Gardening Club~
Find the club
You must find either Iris or Ken, who will guide you to the gardening club.
Mission: Decorate the school with plants
You must decorate the student council room and the classroom with plants, you have a ficus and a mimosa.
To place them in a room, just go to one of the rooms cited above and make your choice!
Note: You might need to go back and forth a few times for the option to appear.
________________________________________________________________
Get Castiel's absentee note signed
There are two possibilities:
Ask Ken to take care of the note for you
Go back and forth between Nathaniel and Castiel until you have the option to force Castiel to sign the note or not. Once you have made your choice, you must return to see Nathaniel to give him the paper (signed or unsigned)
________________________________________________________________
The End
Once you have given the absentee note to Nathaniel, you will access the end of the episode and the possibility to go on a date.
It is possible to miss your date in this episode.
You have access to the date if you are able to choose the outfit you want. The date is a success if you receive the end illustration.

B.      I didn’t think you were interested in plants? Well, I have to put them in a classroom and the student council room.   +
C.      Something.  –
Ah, what are you going to put in each room?
A.      Well, I thought I’d put the fig tree in the classroom and the mimosa in the student council   room.  +
B.      Well, I thought I’d put the fig three in the student council room, and the mimosa in the classroom.  +
C.      Not really, any ideas?   +
If I were you, I’d put the fig tree in the classroom and the bouquet of mimosas in the student council room.
A.      Ah…I’ll do the opposite then.  -
B.      Ok, I’ll do that then.   -
(You Start Discussion)
A.      Sign this please.   -
B.      So you cut class again? I’ve got a note for you to sign.   +
C.      Nathaniel gave me an absentee note for you to sign please.   –
What now?
A.      Look, sign this and we can forget about it.   -
B.      You really don’t want to sign this?    -
C.      He’s insisting you know….   +
What now?! Good grief, you’re persistent!
A.      Eh…I know, but Nathaniel keeps pushing me too…   /
B.      Like you mentioned earlier, a real man accepts his responsibilities, so just sign it, that’s all.   -
C.      Well…he said if you were a man you would accept your responsibilities and sign it. So, if you wouldn’t mind….   –
I understand, but I’m as stubborn as he is. I’m not signing anything. And I’m sure he’s just doing this so that I might get expelled from school.
A.      Ok listen, I’m tired of all this, sign it and if you not happy, take it up with him. (Force Castiel to sign the absentee note)   -
B.      What, really? I don’t want you to get expelled, forget about the note, I’ll give back to him. (Don’t get Castiel to sign the absentee not)  +

Ken:
Hi (NickName)
A.      Ken, what did you tell those girls?!  +
B.      Ken, did those three girls come and bother you?  +
C.      You!!! Stop telling people that nonsense! Especially to those three!  -
W…well not really, I told them that you were the love of my life. Then they took my pocket money too. Wh…why do you ask me that? You want to go out with me?
A.      Are you crazy? Never! And if you say once more that we’re going out together, to anyone….   –
B.      What do you mean they took your money?  +
C.      M…maybe, but that’s their problem, watch what you say though!  +
Yes, they pushed me down on the ground and took my money, saying they wanted to go to eat lunch in a restaurant instead of the cafeteria.
A.      Do you have enough money left for me?   /
B.      You can’t let people do that to you! Be a man!   -
C.      Did they take a lot? Tell me how much and I can reimburse you if you want.    +
B…but they pushed me on the ground! And there were three of them, what could I do?!!! Did they do something to you too?
A.      Did they give you a photocopy?    /
B.      Yeah, they made fun of me!   +
C.      No, no nothing happened….   +
What did they do to you? If I wasn’t so afraid of them, I’d defend you!
A.      Forget about it.   -
B.      It’s pointless for me to talk to you about it, you can’t even defend yourself.   -
C.      Ah, it’s nothing, be careful though.   +
(Basketball Club)
Yes! The principal asked me to. I’m sure that you chose the gardening club, just like me, right?
A.      Um, well guess you guessed wrong.   +
B.      In fact, I prefer basketball.  +
C.      Well…I’m glad I chose the basketball club I guess.  –
Aw….If I had only known. Do you think I could change?
A.      No! Gardening suits you!   +
B.      Don’t even try it! Stop following me around everywhere!   -
C.      I don’t know, you’d have to ask the principal.  +
I asked the principal if I could change groups but she said no.
A.      Good thing!   -
B.      Ah. That’s ok.   /
C.      You’ll be taking care of flowers, that’s good too.  +
I’m still disappointed though…
A.      By the way, you wouldn’t know where the basketball club is by any chance?   /
B.      (Leave)   /
Oh I’m sorry, I was talking about the gardening club, I don’t know where the basketball club is.
A.      Ah, that’s ok, anyone can make a mistake. I’ll go see if I can find it.   +
B.      …You’re one messed up guy….  -
C.      Don’t you listen?  -
I know where the basketball club is!
A.      That’s alright, I know where it is.   +
B.      You’re as useless as ever, I already know where it is. -
C.      Thanks, that’s nice of you but someone already showed me where it is.  +
(Gardening Club)
You’re not pleased? But we can garden together, it’ll be great!
A.      Yes, I’m sure we’re going to have fun.   +
B.      I think I’m going to ask the principal if I can change.   /
C.      But I’m not going to garden with you.    -
(You Start Discussion)
A.      Do you know anything about plants?    +
B.      Do you at least know anyone in the gardening club?    +
C.      Why did you choose the gardening club?   -
(NickName)! I was coming to find you but I see you’ve found the gardening club all on your own. It’s nice, isn’t it?
A.      Oh you’re here too, should we look for something to do?   +
B.      Are you still following me or what?   -
C.      (sigh)  /
(You Start Discussion)
A.      We should split up and try to manage each on his own.   -
B.      I think you have to go and look for plants, in the forest!   /
C.      We’ll have a look around, ok? There might be something….   +
Ah, that’s really nice! I watered the plants in the schoolyard.
A.      Do you need help?   +
B.      I don’t care what you do?   -
C.      Ok…well, I haven’t finished yet, I’m off!   +
Not much, do you need help?
A.      Maybe, how did you know?  +
B.      No, not from you anyway.  -
C.      Yes, can you do me a favor?  +
Of course I can!
A.      Thanks Ken, you’re great. (Give the absentee note to ken)   +
B.      Hmm…No, don’t worry about it, I’ll do it myself. (Keep the absentee note)  /

Iris:
Of course, what do you need?
A.      Can you take this note to Castiel and get him to sign it, then take it to Nathaniel please?   -
B.      Nathaniel asked me to get Castiel to sign this absentee note…I’m not sure how to go about it.  +

Touch-me-not
A take on Shinwoo's thoughts in ep 7
Shinwoo is not a touchy-feely kind of guy. It's like his whole being freezes upon human contact and- and words don't come easy either. It's frustrating how quickly Daon and Namgung grow on Taekyung- giving him friendly pats and lavishing him with compliments; it's hard because they have it unfairly easy.
But he thinks that he could try- for Taekyung, the boy with sunshine in his smiles and gold in his heart. Maybe, just maybe, he could do it; after all, Taekyung has been accepting his apologies- even if he does so begrudgingly. Namgung texts him about the initiation party and he thinks to himself, 'I've got to start somewhere, don't I?'
So- even before Daon can predictably offer to arrange everything- Shinwoo proposes to decorate the room after tidying it up. It must be a shock to the others because the chat goes eerily silent. Shinwoo can feel his ears burning; can feel the quiver in his fingers as he considers, haltingly, if he should just delete the text. Erase the evidence... or something. But then, Namgung, a true godsend, sends ten-plus messages about the potato pizza he ordered and Shinwoo feels all the tension whoosh out of him. Before he can type something else incriminating like- "Taekyung doesn't seem like a potato pizza guy"- he slams his phone down and then slams himself down, burning ears and all, into his bed.
The party is... a wild ride, for the lack of better words. After smooshing half the cake onto an unsuspecting Taekyung and contemplating a very serious, very diabolical urge to smash the rest of it over Namgung's empty head, Lee So-Hee enters and everything kind of settles. He catches himself glancing at Taekyung way too many times, even gets to hold a proper but pointless conversation with him but their 'new member' doesn't seem to mind.
'Or,' his unhelpful brain supplies, 'he doesn't care.' All of a sudden Daon is excusing himself and Shinwoo watches Taekyung tracking their leader's exit. It's- it's like a solid punch to the solar plexus. Disappointment shines so palpably in Taekyung's eyes and Shinwoo can't help but wonder if he himself isn't as obvious? He must be but- but if his stare is so loud- as Namgung had once ribbed- why couldn't Taekyung feel it?
He's broken from his reprieve by the ring of his message notification; Shin Daon isn't returning. Taekyung absorbs this piece of information and just withers. Shinwoo feels incredibly stupid to be here. Then, suddenly, Taekyung is excusing himself and Shinwoo knows he has to do something- say something- now. Before he can overthink it or un-think it, his hand has shot out to grab Taekyung and Shinwoo is asking him to stay, please don't go (wait and just listen; turn back and really look at me). It doesn't work. Taekyung says no. Actually, he shrugs off Shinwoo's hand and apologises and it hurts so, so much more than just a no.
Shinwoo wants to laugh at the irony of being brushed off; wants to ask if this is Taekyung's revenge; wants to sleep away this entire day till he remembers nothing of it. Not even how Taekyung doesn't even spare him a second glance while he rushes out.
He really doesn't care. Everything in Shinwoo burns at this realisation and he wishes it would all just- stop.
