What do they think of each other's family? And how does the family feel? If... uh, if any of your ships still have a family...
For the Couple Questions | Thank you! :D
I'll answer for M'ajah and @fictionalgalaxy's Eremia
M'ajah's mother left the M tribe while still pregnant with M'ajah when her favoured nunh, M'aht, left the tribe. She remarried later, but died died in the Calamity together with her husband and later children. M'aht has also died, so both of M'ajah's parents are dead, as are the siblings she grew up with. She later found her half-brother M'zeth Tia, who has something between immense jealousy and nearly reverent heart-eyes when it comes to Eremia.
Eremia is a very charming and open person, and M'zeth would give ANYTHING to be as smooth and popular as Eremia 😆 He totally looks up to Eremia, but would never think of begrudging M'ajah her relationship with him.
Eremia's family is still up and about, and M'ajah has a great relationship with them. His mother Rowan is a carpenter, a strong and capable woman, very decisive who is very approving of M'ajah's self-sufficiency and abilities. His sibling Laen is Charming™ AF, absolutely brilliant person who loves to tease and love, and they and M'ajah are an amazing pair who always have the most fun together. She hasn't met Tiarn'a yet, Eremia's father, but Eremia assures her that he'd LOVE her.

#RNA-mediated ribonucleoprotein assembly controls TDP-43 nuclear retention
by Patricia M. dos Passos, Erandika H. Hemamali, Lohany D. Mamede, Lindsey R. Hayes, Yuna M. Ayala TDP-43 is an essential #RNA-binding protein strongly implicated in the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative disorders characterized by cytoplasmic aggregates and loss of nuclear TDP-43. The protein shuttles between nucleus and cytoplasm, yet maintaining predominantly nuclear TDP-43 localization is important for TDP-43 function and for inhibiting cytoplasmic aggregation. We previously demonstrated that specific #RNA binding mediates TDP-43 self-assembly and biomolecular condensation, requiring multivalent interactions via N- and C-terminal domains. Here, we show that these complexes play a key role in TDP-43 nuclear retention. TDP-43 forms macromolecular complexes with a wide range of size distribution in cells and we find that defects in #RNA binding or inter-domain interactions, including phase separation, impair the assembly of the largest species. Our findings suggest that recruitment into these macromolecular complexes prevents cytoplasmic egress of TDP-43 in a size-dependent manner. Our observations uncover fundamental mechanisms controlling TDP-43 cellular homeostasis, whereby regulation of #RNA-mediated self-assembly modulates TDP-43 nucleocytoplasmic distribution. Moreover, these findings highlight pathways that may be implicated in TDP-43 proteinopathies and identify potential therapeutic targets. https://journals.plos.org/plosbiology/article?id=10.1371%2Fjournal.pbio.3002527&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=tumblr

#JamesDonaldson On #MentalHealth - What Happens When Happy People Die By #Suicide
Perhaps the most controversial ‘final’ act of life, any life, should always start conversations around #mentalhealth. And it is, perhaps, the unlikelier cases of #suicide that should ring louder warning bells for society at large Nusmila Lohani One of the most active and happy #Instagram profiles is, perhaps, #tWitch's. His face is a familiar one, one that carved out a space in the entertainment industry in #America at least 14 years ago when he auditioned in So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD). It's a televised #American dance competition, where participants dance through cutthroat stages of the competition to reach the finals or make the top 10 list. From that list, many have moved on in their careers to bigger things, expanding the limelight that the reality TV show accumulated for them. #tWitch was one of them. I primarily follow #tWitch on #Instagram where he has over 4 million followers. On the #socialmedia platform, between paid partnerships, business ventures and collaborations with other dancers along with features of his co-founded dance studio, #tWitch seemed to have been doing great with his wife (who was an SYTYCD 2nd season contestant) and three beautiful #children. His name was not just well-known in America's dancers' community, but a popular one even in some circles of A-list Hollywood celebrities. On 13 December 2022, Stephen Laurel "tWitch" Boss died by #suicide, having recently celebrated his 40th birthday and nine years married to his wife. According to the LA County Medical Examiner, there was "no foul play" and reportedly there is a #suicide note left behind by #tWitch, the content of which has not been revealed to the media. When the news broke, it first took me back to 2008. I was rooting for #tWitch to win the SYTYCD 4th season that used to air on AXN, mostly because I enjoyed replicating some of his easier dance moves. #tWitch – the Alabama native on the Los Angeles SYTYCD stage – brought a lot of joy to me, the closet dancer in Dhaka who would fight over the TV remote with her older sister. #tWitch came second place, breaking my teenage heart. And eventually, I stopped watching the show thus relinquishing my 'avid' SYTYCD TV audience status. But #tWitch rose. He went on to star in movies and in a short time, started to work as the resident DJ on The #EllenDegeneresShow. Reportedly, he also became a co-executive producer on the show in 2020, the same year when Ellen Degeneres faced intense backlash over a toxic work environment spanning #racial discrimination and #sexualharassment allegations. #tWitch maintained his support for Degeneres, and said "We can't speak too much legally about it, but I'll say this, there's been love," in an interview later on. When the news of #tWitch's #suicide broke, it took me back to his #Instagram profile next. I stand corrected, it is one of the most active and happy feeds. I drowned myself in tributes that #Instagram users paid to #tWitch. Many are from celebrities and blue tick account holders. The ones who knew him kept saying, he was the "light" in the room and the life and joy of the party. I understand how #socialmedia profiles seldom mirror a person's state of mind, let alone offer the real-life picture of public figures. But with this case, something else tugged at me, how a 'happy,' young (yes, 40 is young) public figure, who seemingly had a good life, died by #suicide. And this took me to 2014. #RobinWilliams - in my opinion, not just the greatest comedian but also one of the greatest actors - died by #suicide at the age of 63. This shook the world, causing ripples of disbelief and shock beyond borders. More so because of the happy and joyful persona that defined his illustrious career. Williams was misdiagnosed with Parkinson's disease before his death, according to his wife, who went on to learn of Lewy body #dementia with which the actor was diagnosed following an autopsy on his brain, reported #CNN. What can we learn from unlikely cases of #suicide The objective is not to limit the category of unlikely cases to those who are wealthy because that logic is primitive in thinking that wealth and/or fame, by default, can resolve #mentalhealthissues. But to broaden our perspective and dismantle our internalized typecasting of "likely" cases of #suicide. For one, seemingly happy people may be suffering from #suicidalideation. And for those who are already dealing with #suicidalideation, death by #suicide of seemingly happy public figures may work as a trigger. Frankly, we know little to nothing about a person's state of mind or their cognitive dissonance. This 'person' can be our colleagues, friends and family members. And the more we continue to avoid, demean, mock or discourage discourse on #mentalhealth, the more we continue to walk on the same path that leads to preventable final acts. #James Donaldson notes:Welcome to the “next chapter” of my life… being a voice and an advocate for #mentalhealthawarenessandsuicideprevention, especially pertaining to our younger generation of students and student-athletes.Getting men to speak up and reach out for help and assistance is one of my passions. Us men need to not suffer in silence or drown our sorrows in alcohol, hang out at bars and strip joints, or get involved with drug use.Having gone through a recent bout of #depression and #suicidalthoughts myself, I realize now, that I can make a huge difference in the lives of so many by sharing my story, and by sharing various resources I come across as I work in this space. #http://bit.ly/JamesMentalHealthArticleOrder your copy of James Donaldson's latest book,#CelebratingYourGiftofLife:From The Verge of Suicide to a Life of Purpose and Joy www.celebratingyourgiftoflife.com Suicides have claimed nearly double the number of Bangladesh lives in 2020, compared to the deaths from #Covid-19. Nearly half of the suicides were from young #adults, with 35% in the age range of five to 19 years. In fact, as many as 364 students in the country's education institutions committed #suicide from January to August of this year, according to a survey by the Aachol Foundation. Earlier this year, speaking to TBS on the uptick in suicides among students, Tawhida Shiropa, Founder and CEO of Moner Bondhu said "More than their socio-economic state of affairs, the lack of sympathy and empathy had led them to take such a decision. I believe a little touch of empathy could have changed their whole trajectory for a few of them." This probably does not need to mean that we, individually, carry the responsibility to save people from dying by #suicide. Rather, we should strive to collectively build a support system and environment that essentially welcomes dialogue on #mentalhealth. What we now have is a wall blocking discourse on #mentalhealth at every level, be it the dinner table conversations that still remain outdated because older generations refuse to understand what therapy is or the existence of #mentalhealth. Or we have educational institutions, corporate worlds and industries that remain determined to focus with a hyperbolic intensity on advancements and progress reports than the #mentalhealth of its people. It's almost like the #Covid-19 #pandemic never happened nor did its incredible toll on human lives. #RobinWilliams once said, "Comedy can be a cathartic way to deal with personal #trauma." And tWitch once said "As dancers, especially for myself, personally, dance constitutes a lot of the conversation that I have. While I'm not a ridiculous wordsmith and I can't clearly verbalize the things that I'm feeling sometimes, I'd say that I can emote how I feel by dancing, 100% of the time, and fearlessly at that." The common thread, albeit a little stretched, is curious. They both spoke of expressing themselves through their art. This year will end in a few days. Many of us must be mulling over our year's personal progress report. This could be an opportune time to spare a moment on how we perceive #mentalhealth, both at an individual level and at a collective level. We could also consider seeing #mentalhealth in two-fold: How we can assist those who are silently, or otherwise, suffering. And how we can learn, for ourselves, to ask for help when we need to. This is a tall order, granted. But the most simple step forward could be to be kind to each other and become open to having conversations about #mentalhealth. By doing just this, perhaps, in the new year, we will collectively step on the same page in the 21st century on understanding #suicidalideations and create environments that start a discourse on #mentalhealth. Otherwise, we will continue to have people, some of great talent, resorting to expressing themselves through their works of art, or other channels. And then seek refuge in their last resort, which the world will not hesitate to call their most controversial and selfish 'final' act. Photo by Pixabay on Pexels.com Read the full article

Business Class in Indigo
Travel in style: How Bhartiya Airways is making flying luxurious for less
Traveling in style was never so affordable. This year, Bhartiya Airways has launched its business class, which offers the best of comfort and luxury at an unbeatable price tag. If you’re traveling on a budget but still want to fly in style, here are some of the features that make their business class worth every penny!
What is a fully flat seat?
Bhartiya's new full-flat seats are designed to be more comfortable and versatile. They eliminate the need to squish your feet against the seat in front of you, which has been a common complaint among many fliers. The seats will also offer a generous amount of legroom, which will make it easier to sleep on long-haul flights.
We have created a design that our customers are asking for, said Ashwani Lohani, chairman and managing director at Bhartiya. We know what passengers want and we know how to deliver it. According to Lohani, these features will provide a luxury experience without breaking the bank.
What are the benefits of an upgraded seat?
Flying business class gives you access to an exclusive lounge, spacious seating, and a more comfortable flight. There are many benefits of upgrading to a business class seat, but these five are the most popular:
- Luxurious seating - Exclusive lounge - More comfortable flights - Concierge services - More legroom - Improved on-board meals - Priority check-in - Priority baggage delivery - Faster immigration processing - VIP arrival service This style blog post will give you insight into what it feels like to travel in this particular airline.
Is it worth upgrading from Y to B?
Bhartiya Airways Y class offers a personalized experience with amenities such as a duvet and pillow, cotton sheets, and quality headphones. If you're looking to treat yourself on your next flight, it's worth spending the money to upgrade from Y to B. It will cost around Rs. 1500 per passenger but if you're traveling solo or in pairs then this may be an investment worth considering!
The aircraft are well maintained, have high-quality finishes, and provide plenty of legroom. You'll also get access to live television including movies and TV series (this can't be said about every carrier!).
What're more, passengers who fly Business Class receive priority luggage handling at airports. A few benefits that come with this include not having to wait long periods of time for baggage and not having to worry about being bumped off flights due to overbooking - both common problems in today's airline industry. Furthermore, travelers don't have to stand in queues for security checks which means they don't waste any time waiting.
The service doesn't stop there though!
Is business class only available on international flights?
One of the great perks of being a business-class flyer on an international flight is the luxury and comfort that you enjoy during your travel. From attentive service to exclusive amenities, business class flyers get every little detail is taken care of so they can relax and enjoy their trip. In contrast, domestic flights are often more affordable but lack some of the luxuries of their overseas counterparts.
Bhartiya Airways recognizes this gap and offers passengers business class tickets on domestic flights as well.
Whether it's your first time or your one-hundredth time traveling abroad, remember to always book ahead - seating will be limited!

Apparently I had spoons to share so I did some digging:
I put their address into google and they do have a sign at that address as of when the street view camera went around. It doesn't look like a shopfront, nor an office building. And its strange they would only have one branch and its in the US, wouldn't their main customer base be first and foremost Aboriginal peoples? Or at least, people on the same continent?
I also find it odd that they don't have prices listed, I've never seen a fabric store where you have to contact them for a quote. They even have a "where to buy" tab that just leads you back to a request form.
After a bit more research, I’m not actually sure.
Ive found two different US-based websites that claim to sell their designs, for named prices, one of which doesnt have a physical address (and has free shipping “from Florida to USA” whatever that means) (https://fabrilish.com/pages/contact-us) while the other is based in Port Gamble, Washington (https://quiltedstrait.com/collections/m-s-textiles). There is also one Australian site with a VIC address and no storefront (https://www.ozquilts.com.au/m-and-s-textiles.html).
I found a poster naming their designers.(https://australianmade.com.au/assets/4c63b90c-e1e6-4fc2-8a71-0c9abfe456de.pdf) I only searched a few and the designers seem to be real people.
Now this is where it maybe gets weirder. Their Australian Business Number (ABN) that gives them the right to trade in Australia lists the Director as Shamsuzzaman Lohani. Two people come up on a search for that name, a Dr. S Lohani Shams who apparently founded the Bangladesh-Australia Foundation in Melbourne and does philanthropy, or a different Shamsuzzaman Shams, a reporter who was arrested by the Bangladeshi government in 2011 for writing a report on the cost of living. Neither seem likely candidates for being Director of an Australian Aboriginal textiles company.
Two other small things, firstly when the ABN was first registered in 2000 it was under the trading name ‘Books ’N’ Things’. The business name ‘Warrina Designs’ was registered in 2007, ‘Warrina Art Gallery’ in April 2011 and ‘ M & S Textiles Australia; in November 2011. It also says ‘ABN last updated 2019’ but doesnt list what change was made then.
Secondly, on their website theres that nice photo of the fabrics in a display. Where is that display? Is it in their main office, for purely decorative purposes? Also, none of the images I’ve seen of their products are taken in physical spaces, theyre all digital images.
In conclusion, some aspects of this company seem legit and some seem incredibly sketchy to me. I have no idea. I might suggest looking up the individual artists and buying their designs from elsewhere.

Back at you with the frienship ask for Alisaie and Adrienne, Ash, and/or M'ajah, your choice!
That's easy and the same for all of them: Alisaie is much beloved and 👌
She's closest in age to M'ajah and M'ajah doesn't have the WoL status, which makes it easiest for her. They're both "merely" Scions and both have the same wild streak if pressed which makes them very close.
Adriene is much older, so there's just a lot more sisterly vibe going on, more tease than ease, and Alisaie has the slight starry eyes because she's looking up to Adriene. I'll mellow out with age, but there are so many "younger twin siblings" with Alphinaud and Alisaie that reminds Adriene of Carver and Bethany that she quickly adopts them in her mind.
Ash and Alisaie really like each other, but they're too different to be immensely close. Alisaie admires Ash's status, endurance and fortitude, but Ash isn't the Mighty Warrior™ that Alisaie will one day become, so outside of their adventures, they don't spend that much time with each other.
