:D i post mostly Little Nightmares stuff. figured i’d share it because i recently (by recently i mean last night at 1 AM) started writing there again ^^

i have this ongoing LN x Reader oneshot fic, and my newest is the first chapter of a short fic about Six dropping Mono in the Signal Tower and then realizing that she can’t get through the portal because it’s a TV and only Mono can go through TVs, and so since she dropped him she accidentally doomed herself too :D

anyways. yes. i have more fanfic ideas as well.

Maybe a little thing with Mono from little nightmares and a child reader-? Like, he helps the reader escape something and gets them to saftey. Maybe they talk a bit.... Just something sweet and nice.

You were tired of running. You were tired of trying to find shelter, only to find something else had taken that place already. You were tired of searching for food, only to find rotten scraps or dying rats. You were tired. And you felt like giving up.

Currently you were cowering in the corner of a cold, damp, dark alleyway, the rain pattering on the ground around you as you used a dumpster's broken lid as a roof from the rain. You shook, to many possible causes to know exactly what made you do so. You felt sick, cold, and wet. Your clothes clung to you, soaked in rain, mud, grime, and tears. You felt your body shake again, and your eyes drooped. If you fell asleep this time, there would be no waking up.

You were ready to succumb to this, allowing the heavy cold to envelop you, letting the darkness to wrap its thin, spindly arms around you...

"Hello-?"

Somebody called out.

It wasn't for help, but a concerned call. You had no clue where it came from, but you were too tired to respond, and close to finally passing out.

"Hey!-"

They called out again, closer this time. You heard footsteps and breathing from nearby but sleep overwhelmed your eyes and you only caught a blur of a figure rushing to you before the dark took you.

You awoke with a gasp, drenched with sweat from a dream you couldn't remember anymore. In those few moments of panic, you did not notice the warmth and dryness of the area you were in now, or the odd crackling sound nearby, but you did now. You looked down at what you were on to see that you had been sleeping on an old, torn up, living room chair. A thick coat was laying on top of you. You glanced around the area now. You saw a tv, fizzling and buzzing with it's odd sounds and lack of true film. It hurt your head a bit, but you ignored it. The room you were in was large. There were a few broken boards here or there, but it was in otherwise well condition. You heard the sound of rain pattering on glass, the source a boarded up window. There were two doors. Those were boarded up as well. Some books lay askew on the ground, one closed and bookmarked neatly on top of the television.

You couldn't remember how you got here. Only cold darkness and overwhelming sleep. And a figure calling and rushing to you.

They must have saved you. Maybe this was their coat. Perhaps this their shelter... But the doors were boarded, all entrances blocked. How would they get in and out? Perhaps they left you here, just so you would have a bit longer life. If that was so, you wish they hadn't. You sighed and shook, bundling into the coat and curling into the old seat you lay on...

The tv crackled louder, as if trying to catch your attention. You pressed your hands to your ears and whined, the noise becoming piercing. It roared a few seconds more, then quickly fizzled down to its usual buzzing. But that wasn't the odd thing. It was the footsteps you heard seemingly coming from the tv. You curled in tighter on yourself, still covering your ears, unsure weather to look or to stay as still and silent as possible.

"Hehe- looks like their still asleep... They must have been exhausted..." were they referring to you? Their voice sounded young, but with a deepened tone, and a feint, barely noticable distortion to it. You assumed they were a boy. You heard them set something down, pick something up from around the tv, and then sit down on the other side of the chair. You heard pages flip, and the boy hummed an odd melody.

You decided to risk looking, and peaked at the other end of the seat. A kid, roughly the same size as you, though they seemed a bit taller, sat with a bag on their head, flipping through the pages of the book you saw on the tv. The bag had two eye holes, that seemed unreasonably dark. Their clothes were dirty, a bit ripped and wet, but they didn't seem to mind. They wore no shoes, their feet smudged and grimy. You looked back at the bag on their head, wondering why they wore it. Their head shifted towards you and you gasped slightly, curling in on yourself a bit more. They laughed a bit.

"Hello there. Glad to see you're awake." though you could not see their face, their voice conveyed the tone of a smile. "Are you hungry? I found some food while you were asleep." they nodded towards a bundle by the tv. "It might be a bit soggy though- getting dry food through rain is tough without protection."

As if in response, your stomach growled. You didn't take your eyes off them and slipped out from under the coat and crawled over to the bundle. You opened the soggy sack, finally looking away from the boy, and grabbed a damp piece of bread. It smelled old, but there was no mold on it, so you ate. It was more than you'd had in a while, and you ate quite a lot from the bag. What was left tempted you to eat more, but you looked back at the bag headed boy, who was reading and humming again. You picked up the bag and brought it over to them, giving it to them.

"T-thank you-" your voice was raspy and sore, from low use. You hadn't spoken in a long time. They looked from the bag to you, and spoke with a kindhearted smile in their voice.

"I already ate some. You can have all you want, you must be starving."

With those kind words you basically inhaled the last pieces of soggy bread and sat back on the seat. You allowed yourself to relax a bit more. You picked up the coat that was used as a blanket for you, and turned to the boy, holding it out.

"Is- this yours-?"

They looked at it and chuckled softly. "Yes, it is, but you can use it as long as you need."

You hesitated, then wrapped it around yourself, pulling your arms through the sleeves. It was warm. Still a pleasant feeling in comparison to what you were used too.

"What's your name? If you don't mind me asking that is."

"It's... I-it's- I-i can't remember."

"That's okay! It's alright-! Here how about I call you- uh- Y/n! How does that sound?"

You smiled. "That s-sounds... Nice."

"I'm Mono, by the way. It seems we may be sticking together for a bit." he held his hand out to you, and you took it, shaking it with a smile.

"Y-yeah. I g-guess so."

Mono x Reader

[ summary: six is about to betray mono but the reader unleashed a power they never knew they had ]

[Y/n] watchsas Six forcefully pulled back her hand, causing Mono to fall into the abyss.

Their eyes widened, a plethora of emotions running through them.

Sadness

Hurt

Betrayal

Six gets up a leaves, leaving [Y/n] and Mono for dead. They let out a scream of anguish, the Signal Tower begins to shake and crumble.

The Signal Tower begins to fall apart around them, they didn’t care if they would die.

All they wanted was Mono back, their friend, they one that they’ve been with since the beginning.

The powerful blast was to much for the fleshy interior, and it groans in anguish. It tries to consume the small child, but they stand.

Raising both of their arms and clenching their fist, fighting the flesh that had eyes around it.

Screaming in anguish, using all their strength, hoping that this would end the cycle, of hurt and betrayal.

That why they were here, they were from the future. To stop the cycle, to save Mono.

Now having a better chance with their newly found powers, [Y/n] lets out a scream a scream that was loud. Louder than they ever have before.

The Eyes finally beginning to fade away, as they do. They collapse on that ledge, breathing heavily.

They did it they stopped the cycle..

Everything goes black..

“Y/n?” They hear a familiar voice call out, but it was faint..

“Y/n?” It was louder but still faint, the voice is so familiar.

“Y/n!?” They finally open their eyes, and look up and see Mono shaking them.

They smile and see Mono standing before them he was okay, tears brim their eyes.

And they wrapped their arms around him, hugging him.

They pull back from the hug, and kiss Mono on the check.

The cycle was over..

Maybe this was the beginning for a brighter future, in this cruel and unforgiving world.

Sorry if the ending sucks. I just want something happy for mono and the reade.

I currently have a fanfic in progress that won’t have a happy ending.

The reader can travel through dimensions and her dimension is like the little nightmares but the opposite it’s happy. And the kids have parents..

And she gets stuck in the nightmare dimension and tries to get back, and meets mono and six.. and it basically plays out like the game..

Mono:

By default, Mono is protective, so adding some Yandere influences onto him would only push it to the extremes.

You're his only friend in this crushingly cruel world. You're the light in the darkness, and you mean so much to him. You're his best friend, and he'd do anything for you.

And I mean that, if he can he'll do it for you without hesitation. You hold so much power over little mono.

Mono is extremely overprotective and possessive. He's scared something might hurt you, so he'll tend to cling practically to the side of your hip and do his best to follow you everywhere he can.

Normally, he'd have no issues with having around other children, but with the way he is here, he doesn't like them hanging around you. Mono fears they may also hurt you or take you away from him, leaving him all alone.

He wouldn't know how to go on if you actually did leave him for another friend or if you died. The two of you have been through so much together; the bond you share is unimaginably strong (in his mind, at least), and so the idea of you no longer being part of his life anymore causes him anxiety and almost pain.

Mono loves you deeply (platonically, of course), and he'll always be by your side. If you ever show him physical affection, he'll practically melt into your touch. The world of Little Nightmares is extremely harsh and little gestures like these are hard to come by, so when you hold his hand it makes him so warm and happy on the inside.

You're probably the only person he'll ever show his face to. He trusts you a lot and really wants your acceptance. His face is pretty. . Scary. . so the fact you accept it and accept him makes him feel dreamy, comforted and secure. He doesn't care how many monsters come his way, as long as he has you by his side he'll take on anything.

If you were to die, Mono would be inconsolable. He'd sit by your body, holding your lifeless corpse, and just let himself cry over the death of his dearest friend; his soulmate, even, unable to do anything else but hug you desperately.

He'd die right alongside you, slowly withering and starving away as he continued to craddle your decaying body. Without you, there wasn't a point in going on any longer. You two were meant to get out together, you were suppose to survive, together.

He became extremely dependent on you emotionally, so when you died a huge part of him died along with you. Guilt-ridden and defeated. At least on the bright side, he got to see you again. He hoped.

If, however, the situation was like the ending in the game and you ended up abandoning Mono, he'd be a cocktail of emotions. Confused, stunned, hurt, silent. . But above all, despair.

He'd climb right up on that chair and simply sit there, motionless. His heart was broken by what you did, and much like his reaction to your death he'd simply give up.

But under the tower's influence, he continued to live. And through this influence, his emotions would be twisted and corrupt.

Once he becomes thin man and is freed from the room, his first thought would be to find you and take you. He'll hunt you down in any spot he can find, and if he has to, he'll try and slow down or even hurt his younger self just to have you in his grasp.

Once he does get you, he'll take you away to the tower. No matter how much you may scream or cry, he'll ignore it and bring you back with him.

Now, Thin man doesn't really 'hurt' you like you'd expect. He doesn't wanna hurt you actually, he simply wants his 'best friend' with him again. And now that he does, he'll make sure you'll never leave him again. Mono loved you even when you left him, and so does thin man.

Thin man's psyche was broken from both your betrayal and the time of isolation he had to endure. He'll no longer be able to process the fact he may be hurting you, selfishly thinking only for himself. He'll turn you into a monster so you'll have no choice but to be with him, and if he has to? He'll make it slow and agonizing.

But don't worry. Once it's done, you'll be placed in a special room tailored just to your liking. If you had a favourite object then he'll give it to you, making it the item that keeps you locked in this form.

Unlike mono, Thin man will treat you more like a pet then a person. His mind is warped, and his treatment is just as much, but overall he's just happy to have you with him again. And you're never leaving his side, ever.

Of course, his plan doesn't fully go accordingly, and he's eventually stopped by his younger, much stronger self. But everything that's happened is already done, and unknown to mono, he has ultimately began his own undoing.

Six:

Six was suspicious and untrusting of you at first, but once you got her trust she never left your side.

She came to depend on you for many things. You became a source of comfort for her, a reason to survive. You treated her kindly, and she grew to want everything you could offer her, while she did her best to return it.

Six doesn't like anyone or anything getting near you, especially other children. If she sees one getting too close, she'll start to growl like a protective dog. Your friendship is only for her, she doesn't want anyone else taking it. She may even try to isolate you from any others.

While she isn't as self-sacrificing as Mono, Six will do a lot to ensure your safety. She'll follow your lead and do everything you ask, assuming they're safe enough of course.

You make her feel safe, like she doesn't have to always run away or hide from the dangers of the world. Her guard will still be up, but she'll be just a little less tense with you around.

She really likes your affection, but she cannot handle extreme amounts of physical touch. So a handhold is just perfect for her. She'll be flustered, but Six loves it nonetheless.

If you died, Six would be so incredibly sad, and incredibly angry.

She's never allowed herself to get this close to someone before, to find such comfort in another living being. And for all that effort and love just for it to be mercilessly torn away, it would only make her heart close off from any emotional connections again.

Unlike mono, she won't stay by your cadaver for the rest of her life. She'll take whatever item you had, something she knew you had an attachment too, and keep it with her for the rest of her journey.

A final semblance of her only friend, and the first, and last, connection she had.

If you were to die when Six developed her hunger, there is a massive chance she may eat parts of you. In her mind, she may see it as keeping you closer to her, as you'll become ONE with her.

But if you were to betray her, then six would be infuriated beyond belief.

She would be hurt, and extremely vengeful, wanting to now find you and pull you apart like a broken doll.

Spite is a huge part of Six's personality, so pray you never run into her again, as she can and will hurt you if given the chance.

Her trust issues definitely spiked after this, no longer allowing anything else to fester inside beside cold rage and the need to survive.

If you're still alive by the time she gains The Lady's powers, she may go out of her way to hunt you down and hurt you, exactly how you hurt her.

She'll make you suffer in any way possible, because she can't forgive for what you did. Never.

She may even turn you into a nome and keep you locked away in a metal or glass cage, where she'll keep you close and watch you, perhaps even using some of her magical abilities to punish you.

Because despite it all, her chilling heart does have some compassion for you, albeit weak and impaired. She'll see this fate as both punishing and rewarding, mainly for her.

You won't ever see the day of light again behind the enclosure she's placed you in. You'll only see her and the darkness around her.

And she'll always get to be by your side, watching you, observing you. She may even demand your attention and affection, and she will force it out of you if she must.

Even as she grows older, bigger, stronger, Six will still keep you under lock and key. Your existence will only be known to her, and her alone.

Two best friends, united for all eternity.

I think monos fear in the game is the thin man but in this it’s losing you..

[-] you jumped down into the abyss curse from the moment you met him you promised to never be alone.

[-] you didn’t know what would happened

You didn’t care all you cared about was Mono

[-] you stood up after the fall and looked around for him.

[-]: you found him and ran towards him hugging him.

[-] he was shocked at first but when you told him about the promise despite having the way to escape right before you, you decided to come and be with him to keep him company.

You two sat down.

The eyes surrounded around the two looking at them closely focusing on Mono

The pulled back realizing his fear

[_] as well as the monsters and traversing dangerous heights

[-] foraging is a completely different story..

It can be hard really hard..

[_] you and mono would look for food, in trash cans, abandoned restaurants anything that looked as if it could hold food.

[_] or anything useful...

[_] most of the time when looking for food it would be most of the time sausage so.. yeah a monthly diet of sausages..

[_] yes you two would find the occasional Apple, fruit vegetables but they’d be almost rotten or even half rotten.

[_]: mono would always be careful with what you eat wanting to makes sure you wouldn’t get sick, and if you did he’d feel bad..

[_]: being able to find stuff to maybe even make something warm, like a broth soup.. but that was rare really rare..

[_] but foraging with mono would be like a scavenger hunt but for food, and for your survival.

[Y/n] and Mono waited for Six to pull them up, the two holding on for dear life. As the signal towers fleshy and true for, came after them.

Escape only inches away Six, was there only hope to get out of here.

Mono wondering what was taking so long, the two young friends. Who have been through everything together, waiting for their new friend to pull them up.

Six just stared at them with a cold, and unforgiving blank stare.

She pulled her hand back, watching as the two fall into the dark abyss of the Signal Tower.

You brought this on yourself

The two stand and look at eachother, the feeling of hurt and betrayal the only thing they felt.

Why would she do that after everything?

Feeling betrayed and hurt the two sit in the chair, the Signal Tower twisting and distorting them.

As time goes by, they become something they both feared the most.

The Thin Man

And The Thin Woman.

Trapped in a time loop forever, a continuing cycle of hurt, and betrayal,

At least they have eachother right?

*takes Mono’s hand and pulls him closer towards her*

Can you please do a headcanon where the fem shy reader helps mono to break the time loop and tells him he loved him never leave him all alone and always be by his side.

[ ] She hasn’t meet her before and y/n, is so used to only being around Mono.

[ ] but after seeing how she acted at the hospital and school, she became more shy, and a bit scared.

[ ] and the events at the signal tower confirmed it even more...

[ ] six wasn’t pulling mono up, and y/n was worried that she would do something....

[ ] so she took action taking mono’s hand and pulling him up, meanwhile getting a cold look from six.

[ ] but y/n wasn’t done, you see...

[] she had to destroy the building the signal tower, that would be the only way to stop the loop.

[] her powers were strong maybe even stronger than six’s powers...

[] she used them almost possibly using up almost all her strength to destroy it.

[] mono beside her watching in awe as she uses everything she has to destroy it...

[] and once she was done that was when the signal tower collapsed completely

[] both Mono and Y/n almost getting trapped under fallen debris...

[] they stood were the signal tower once remand

[] and hugged it out. Mono was still shocked by the almost betrayal of six and yes that still changed him a bit made him a bit bitter against this world

[] but it’s better than becoming the thin man the one thing he fears the most.

[] like in some movies after something like this happens maybe characters might confess their feelings for one another..

[] y/n kisses mono on the cheek and says.

“I love you mono, and I’ll never leave your side ever.”

[] she smiles at him and takes his hand. As the two look at the remains of the signal tower. The remains of mono’s fate if he didn’t have you right beside him..

[] at least when she’s beside him she doesn’t feel shy anymore..

Hey! Idk why but I’m craving some mono fics. Can you do a fit where the reader and mono both escape from the signal tower but the reader has some trouble calming down from chase after they get out? Bonus: reader has unknown powers? Maybe smth similar to mono’s? Thank you!

Sure my arm still isn’t better. But I found a position where I can write request are still on hold but that maybe lifted soon.

The events at the signal tower were too much, far to much. The tower showing its true form, a fleshy monster.

A monster created by the people of the Pale City, who were sucked in and become this fleshy blob.

Six

A monster Six the form Mono and [Y/n] had found her in, was ironic. Cause she was a monster, about to betray both Mono and [Y/n]

But the two were able to escape from the signal tower, a different way than Six went. [Y/n] was injured in the battle with Monster Six, hurt and weakened.

But luckily Mono was there to help, but seeing the true form of the tower was too much for them.

But they were able to escape, but [Y/n] wasn’t the same they were scared. Trembling holding onto Mono for dear life.

He held them close, as they cried in his chest. Mumbling to themselves how, they almost died and almost lost Mono.

Mono tried his best to calm them down, but they just don’t seem to be getting calm. He kisses their forehead, and they clench his trench coat. As if their life depended on it..

But still he couldn’t shake the thought of when he saw them, using powers similar to his. To destroy the signal tower, and when they were terrified.

After looking down at their hands, as if they were a monster after kicking off this moment of them being unable to calm down.

So Mono just holds them, close to him. Trying his absolute best to help them calm down..

[ summary: she didn’t know how she ended up in this unfamiliar world. It was much crueler than the world she was used to. ]

The reader is mute

Her hands cover her face as she sits in the chair alone, surrounded by nothing but darkness.

She awakes from her unconscious state, she looks around at this unfamiliar world.

This wasn’t her home.

This world isn’t her’s she doesn’t belong here...

She stood up looking around more, dilapidated buildings crumbling around her.

This world didn’t feel right to her at all, it felt dark, cold, and unforgiving. It made her sick to her stomach, she was already afraid and just wanted to get home.

Later she met mono...

She took Mono’s hand and smiled, at him. At least there’s some hope in this world.

This world isn’t heres it’s Nightmare and herself was going to become one..

This world is unforgiving..

Six pulled her hand from [Y/n]’s grasp causing her to fall, into the dark abyss of the Signal Tower.

Mono watches in shock, as the person he saved, and helped. Betray them.

She looks at him with a look of hatred, she stands and makes her way to the static. And walks through it, leaving Mono to fend for himself.

Mono pulls himself up onto the ledge, and he looks down into the abyss.

[Y/n] brings her knees to her chest, and wraps her arms around her. And cries, scared, alone, and terrified.

Mommy

Daddy

Mono

Save me

Is what she would say if she could, trembling as the fleshy true form of the Signal Tower. Brings the chair closer, and closer to the crying girl.

She was never going home.

This was her new home

This unforgiving world

This cruel

Sick and twisted world is home..

Mono stares into the abyss, he can’t leave her not alone.

The two even though they’ve just met, already cared so much for one another.

[Y/n] once after saving Six hoping, to show them her world. And being able to stay there instead in the cruel, world that she was brought into.

They world Mono and Six, were born into. He couldn’t leave her alone.

Thats not who he is.

He looks down, and stands to his feet. He closes his eyes.

And jumps.

Mono looks around for [Y/n] and sees her, he runs towards her.

[Y/n] sees Mono and the two hug, she snuggles her head into the crook of his neck. The two hold hands their fingers intertwined, as they make their way to the chair.

As Mono and [Y/n] sat in the chair; she wraps her arm around his. And leans her head on his shoulder, looking out into the dark surrounding them.

With a blank stare.

She was never going to see her parents again, and take Mono to her world where it was better than this one.

She was trapped in this unforgiving, and unfamiliar world.

A world they would never escape from, not even if they could.

The Signal Tower twists and fills them with hate, distorting what was once, two kind and selfless children.

Who only wanted to help their friend, to only be betrayed. Are filled with hate, and betrayal.

Time goes by, Mono becomes what he fears the most, and [Y/n] becomes something she never thought of becoming.

The Thin Man and The Thin Woman.

Forever trapped together in a loop of betrayal and hurt, to never escape this cycle this loop. Forever trapped in this unforgiving, and cruel world.

[] after the events at the signal tower mono wasn’t and wouldn’t never be the same.

[] yes, he didn’t turn into the thin man. but being betrayed like that just broke something in him.

[] luckily he still had you there to comfort him

[] he would just rest his head on your shoulder and you would, rub his back reassuring him you wouldn’t do the same..

[] you might even sing a song, to comfort him.

[] try to make him smile trying to make the cruel world around the two of you, a bit better.

[] if he ever seems to be having a rough time, you would just take his hand, and gently rub it with your thumb.

[] just having you there beside him, is comfort enough.
