ok this is the fist one (still very pleased with colouring here T_T the stage lighting was,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, well yeah as always lmao) and this is the most recent (TBH DKJSKDSDK I WISH MY MOST RECENT POST COULD BE A DIFFERENT ONE THE ONE I WANNA MAKE FOR A MONTH NOW THE ONE ID PUT A LOT MORE EFFORTS IN SO IM A LIL FRUSTRATED i literally just missed giffing but couldnt watch anything new so took an old vid i wanted to gif once I DIDNT EVEN USE MYCOLOURING PSD IT LITERALLY HAS ONLY COUPLE OF LAYERS uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :( but whatever,,, it just kinda doesnt show the difference -_-)

well 👁👄👁 there r quite few,,, and the main reason is colouring most of these r comps and i a b s o l u t e l y sucked at comps and esp at making the colouring consistent there lol so lets begin lol  1 (u have no idea how muchi love this set) 2 (i fucking mastered it i wanted to remake it for two years and i finally did!! 60 fps smooth good moments iconic performance iconic hair colour his attitude bruh and ofc the fact that i could do sth with colouring,,,,,, and chose such an unusual colour scheme that i doubted jckdckfdk and it still worked out 🥺) 3 (lol i had this idea written down since 2018 as well and this year i could finally collect all moments i needed and oh boi yeah,,, AND COLOURING I COULD ALMOST yeah almost do sth decent with it there r still couple moments id changed but im pleased) 4 (im so happy whenevr i see this CUZ IT ALL WORKED OUT it was such an impulsive comp i literally only saw couple moments for past few years as well where i could see three of them in one frame and suddenly I WAS LIKE I FUCKING MUST POST THOSE MOMENTS SOMEHOW and im so proud of colouring it looks so well T_T) 5 (the colouring ofc im still :o that i could get rid of that shitty shit dkksjkj AND THE MOMENTS ITSELF?????? AND BLACK SWAN???????? EVERY PERFORMANCE???? HAIR?????? OUTFIT???????? EVRERYHTIGNM???????? HIS FUCKING STARE? FACE??? DONT MAKE ME CONTINUE AAAAAAAAAAA also if im not wrong this set in particular made me start my before/after posts 🥺) 6 (i jujst love everything about it e v e r yt h i n g also i could made ppl believe that jin fr has purple hair here when in reality its brown djhfdhskdf one of blending modes or adjustment layers worked this way lol) 7 (i wont even comment this tried a great tutorial with great beautiful resuls for the first time ever and it worked out so well and i like it so much and the whole yoongi here,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, also love me some borders that add cinematic feels to some gifs or just make them pretty in a dif way just like i did with prev post i mentioned imo lol) OK LAST ONE 8 (I USED A VIDEO OF STARS AND ADDED IT TO THE GIF FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER I FUCKED WITHMASKING FOR 3 HOURS GRRRRRRRR THIS IS SO HUGE FOR ME!!!!! i cant even explain whew IVE NEVER DID ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE SO I WAS REALLY PROUD TOO even tho i fucked masking up on some layers lmao but lets not pay too much attention to it 👀)

ohhhhhhhh i think this one cuz the moments were long i couldnt decide what do i want to include + it ts file so u kno,,, the speed,,, of processing,, + somehow decided to put them all together + fucked with colouring + had to get rid of the logo and as we know japan likes a lot of big braight text around haha and draw hair in moments where logo made it look blurry + had to adjust the order and all that stuff but getting rid of logo was the longest part

whew this iconic one im still amazed tbh they looked soso incredible and im glad how everything turned out here <3 (could change some colouring on bg tho so it could look better and more hq :c)

Casey 1-20 (with Arianna, Jess, and Blez)

Holiday

Casey's experience with holidays has been pretty shitty over the years. He has a lot of bad memories attached to most holidays, so he tends to avoid celebrating any of them.

This year, though, I think he's actually looking forward to the holidays. I've been imagining the Lovelace and Hartley parents asking him to celebrate with them.

Cooking

He barely has the motivation to cook anymore.

He got a few things from watching his mom cook while he was younger. There were rare moments where she would let him help or give him advice. But mostly, Casey taught himself how to cook, when he was older.

He tends to go for convenience and ready to eat foods, mostly because his depression leaves him feeling incapable of cooking a real meal. He will sometimes cook something special for Ezra, if he can.

Sleeping

His sleep schedule really sucks. He usually doesn't go to bed until about 4 or 5 am, and he will sleep pretty much all day.

Casey has bad nightmares. Normally he's able to go back to sleep after a nightmare, but some of them shake him too bad. He will have to stay awake, and usually distracts himself with video games.

Driving

Clay refused to let Casey get his license when he was 16. Jordan didn't really want Casey driving, either, so he wasn't able to get his license until after he broke up with Jordan. Ezra helped him practice to take the test.

Bathing/showering

He can't really get motivated to shower often. He does every other day, if he's working. On the times he has a few days off in a row, Casey won't shower the whole time (unless he's going to be seeing his friends and family).

Hugging

Casey is a very huggy person, but he doesn't like invading other people's space unless they've given him the okay beforehand. He gives great hugs ;w;

Kissing

He is very often the one to initiate kisses with all his partners. Casey is a great kisser when he's in the right headspace, but all it takes is one off thought, and he no longer feels comfortable kissing that person. He also delivers lots of cheek kisses, especially to Nova when she's working. (And she always stops what she's doing to blow a kiss back as he's walking away afterwards. It's just their thing I guess :P )

Sex

So like, I've said a lot since I first developed Casey that it would take a lot of time before he would be able to trust someone enough to have sex with them after he breaks up with Jordan. I kept wondering, "well, how long?" And I added little things about his hypothetical sex life to make it safer for him to have (like keeping things vanilla, for example)

The more I've thought about this, though, the more I realized that there might not ever be a time Casey feels comfortable having sex. I never really imagined him desiring sex that much anyway, so I've decided that he's actually asexual :)

It of course takes him a while to realize that, and I imagine Blez playing a big part in helping him realize his asexuality. I don't think it would be something he ever really considered before. I still think coming out as asexual (more specifically, to his partners) will cause him a lot of anxiety, because he will be worried about that being a deal breaker or something.

General physical contact

He uses physical contact to express his affection to pretty much everyone. The only time this changes is when he's thinking about one of his nightmares. He will be afraid of hurting others, and avoid touching them (or letting others touch him). Even something simple as someone grabbing his hand while he's in that mindset will freak him out. He gets images of how that touch can escalate into violence in his mind, and it sends him into a panic.

Physical appearance

Casey is 5'9 I think. He has freckles on his face, but like Arianna's, they're pretty light. He wears glasses, but they sit crooked on his face because he accidentally broke the frame recently (they're new frames too gdi Casey)

He had a lot of scars on his body. Probably 90% of them were caused by Jordan, and the rest were from Clay.

His hair is dark brown and waist length. When not out in public, his hair is usually really tangled. This is because he only brushes it when he's going somewhere, but also because it just tangles really easily. It is nearly impossible to brush it when it's wet, for some reason.

Wardrobe

Casey is very well known for his denim jackets covered in patches and pins, but some other things in his wardrobe are,

Cool colored t shirts, and dark colored t shirts with video game logos/characters on them,

Grey jeans, which are often his choice color of pants for some reason

Converse, also all cool colored.

He has a work uniform as well, but when he's not wearing it it's either in the washing machine or crumpled in a ball in the corner of his room. His manager was dumb and only gave him one uniform

Jewelry

Chokers, but only to cover the scar. He isn't actually a fan of jewelry, and is hoping for the day he can stop wearing chokers and just accept that other people will see the scar

Nickname

Currently, the only nickname I have for him is one Blezbian came up with

Before they met in person, Casey and Blezbian were online friends and gaming buddies. They never asked/gave out their real names, so they made up nicknames for each other based on their screen names. For Casey, it was Marks (his username is marksofdefeat3). For Blezbian, it was Dayze (her username is 3dayze2late). After they make the connection that they're the same online friend they've been playing with, they both occasionally call each other by their nicknames :)

Dancing

He doesn't really dance. Of course, this changes when he gets with Nova. He's super embarrassed when he does, at first, but Nova has turned it into something he really enjoys doing. He won't dance with or for anyone but Nova.

Singing

He doesn't sing at all really. He's very silent when he listens to music, usually.

Anger

Casey is afraid of his anger. It causes him a lot of stress and anxiety, because he believes his anger is connected to Clay and Jordan. He has never seen healthy ways to express anger before, and that makes his anger explosive and scary to witness. He turns violent towards inanimate objects immediately, and once the initial surge of anger has passed, he will cry for letting himself get worked up like that. He is scared that one day he might accidentally hurt the ones he loves, but he is also scared to reach out for help and ask how to deal with his anger in a healthier way. He doesn't want to be like them, but moments like that make him feel like there's really no way to escape that.

Soft spot

Arianna and Devon.

Blezbian, Blez, and Michael.

He loves pins a lot. Casey gets super excited when he finds new pins to add to his collection ;w;

Pubby,,,, he’s a big fan of dogs and how they do. (Holy shit I just imagined him meeting Himbo ohhghd ohf uck). He has his own pubby tho! Her name is Lola and Casey would die for she

Izan, eventually.

Nova, also eventually.

Strange as it sounds, he has a soft spot for creepy stuff. Things in the horror genre, mostly. He likes monsters and creepypastas and cryptids and such, and they are a soft spot for him. He finds some of them adorable (and no one else understands him they think it's so weird lmao)

Maybe Zerx, eventually (just something I've been considering, idk?)

Favorite possession

One of his denim jackets, though I'm not sure which one exactly (I think he has two or three of them, and one he wears more often than the others)

The shark lanyard Ezra gave him. Ezra said he got it so Casey could keep track of his keys and stuff easier. He was right, because Casey always knows where the lanyard (and his keys) are now ;w;

Arianna gave Casey one of her older skateboard decks when they got back in touch (because it was of a wolf, and she didn't really use it anymore). Casey displays it in his room now and no one is allowed to touch it.

Favorite photograph

A picture of Arianna when she was little. Their parents were gone for the night, and Casey had stolen his mom's camera. He told Arianna they were going to dress up and play fun games, and Casey took a lot of pictures of Arianna (and she even got a few of Casey.) His favorite of the many they took, though, is one of Arianna standing on her bed with a sheet pinned around her normal clothes to look kinda like a dress. She has Bunnins raised above her head, ready to throw it at Casey. She looked happy.

His other favorite picture is one he took of him and Ezra (with the same camera) during one of the church events where they got to hang out :)

Relationship with ___

Arianna

Ever since they were young, Casey has felt a strong connection to Arianna. He has always tried to do what he can to make Arianna happy. Until they were separated, they both provided a lot of relief to each other from their environment and the struggles they faced daily.

Currently, Casey is really just so happy to see Arianna again, and that she's in a better place. Part of him feels jealous, though, because she's getting a chance to live her teenage years in a peaceful environment, and he didn't really get that at all. He feels bad for thinking that way, but through all of the pain he's been through until this point, it's only natural to wish for better than what he's had before now. Ultimately, though, Casey doesn't want to do anything to ruin this for her. He's been careful not to unload any of the problems he's been facing over the years, and he never brings up Clay or their past together unless Arianna is the one to approach the topic.

Casey doesn't ever want to lose Arianna again. He doesn't think he'd be able to handle it.

Jess

I can't really imagine much of what Casey's relationship with Jess is, sadly. I imagine they get along okay, but they don't talk to each other much (especially compared to how much Casey talks to Blez and Blee). Jess seems like a nice person.

Blez

It's an unspoken thing that Blez and Casey have a mother/son relationship. Of all the Lovelace parents, Casey feels the closest to Blez. They play games together sometimes, and Blez will often invite Casey out to run errands or have lunch or something, because she knows otherwise he will be holed up in his apartment, alone.

He has also helped Blez with some of her technology stuff, and has started gaining an interest in engineering because of it.

Casey feels comfortable with Blez. Even when they first met, this was something Casey noticed. She gives him the feeling of having a mother figure, something that he wished he could have had with Jennifer. He sees Blez as a kind, gentle, and positive person overall and he's able to let go of the negative things that weigh him down when he's with her. Blez makes him happy.
