my cat used to love jumping on a drawer unit that came up to my mid thighs, then jumping on top of the fridge from there. (fridge is slightly taller than me, i'm 5 foot/155cm). she'd sit there and watch everything going on in the kitchen from her vantage point. she never jumped on top of the fridge from the floor.

but when my parents renovated the kitchen recently they had a little cubby made for the fridge so it fits in between cupboards in a gap that leaves no room on the sides or top (or maybe 5cm on top at most)

so my cat lost her vantage point. right? right??

this morning I opened the cupboards above the fridge to get my medication out and i saw the cat doing the

thing they do before they jump and next thing I know she's soaring past my head into the fucking cupboard above the fridge!!!!!

MOTHERFUCKER JUST JUMPED LIKE 160CM MINIMUM. WHAT THE HELL!!!!! SINCE WHEN COULD YOU DO THAT?? YOU COULD JUMP OVER ME THIS WHOLE TIME??????
