Mith is a very possessive mama, she wants nothing but the best for her tiny one! She remembers the cut throat childhood of a drow, assaionation attempts, successes and literally every horrifically gory thing in-between- so, now away from the underdark, Minth is curious about a somewhat softer motherhood (of course, she still lets her tiny ones have knives, let them play rough, they want to be read horror novels for bedtime then she sure as heck is gonna pull her best scary voices her them. Minth still wants her tiny ones to be safe but, add a bit of drow spice xD)

There has probably been times where you and another tiny one have had a playdate and while she is rummaging through her bag, just a couple daggers and vial of diluted poison fall out- mama's have to always be prepared be it spit-up or rouge assassins'!

I feel like the first time her tiny one calls her "mama" she freezes, like a deer in headlights as her mind runs a million miles. The meaning of mother can be a double ended blade in drow culture, someone who comforts you when you have night terrors then draws a blade across your throat years later. But, Minth isn't feeling the latter, all she feels is a softness, a warmth for her tiny one as they look to her with such adoration, it's a new sensation for her but one most welcomed even if it makes her feel a bit nervous aaaaaa ;w;

anyways,, number one, i call her queen sect but she probably doesn’t have a formal hero name bc she’s not totally marketable.. her govt name is june b banks and she can control insects! she can’t conjure them or anything so she usually carries them along, esp her favs.. running gag is that she has a new pet bug each time she’s talking to anyone bc they do not last 💀 but they’re quiet fearsome altogether, considering she carries the more dangerous ones. her control is sort of natural, she began understanding them at a RLLY young age while playing in the dirt alone at recess ( she was that kid, yes ), but didn’t fully step into her power of controlling them until she was much older. the trigger event or whatever was literally her out of NOWHERE making a cocoon for herself in her bedroom ( not blankets.. real bug cocoon #buggirly ) and her parents freaking out & cutting into it a bit too early.. so she’s lowkey freaky bc she didn’t reach her peak in the cocoon.. she’s got morbidly pretty butterfly wings but they are a bit flimsy & like constantly slick w cocoon matter bc that shit NEVER DRIES if u come out early. she can fly but only a little bit,, & it’s honestly draining, she barely untucks her wings anyways.

so yea u can probably tell why she’s not as marketable.. no one wants to be saved by the girl with bullet ants crawling on her. I like to think they use her for secret recon or cleanup bc she’s useful but not a good image. omfg wait i just realized she’s got the same aesthetic as queen chrysalis from mlp 😭😭 originality doesn’t exist w me but it’s okay.

and yes her parents call her june-bug :) I like to think that she’s still on good terms w her parents, they only took the compound v offer bc they were living on scraps. and anyways, it’s harder to love ur daughter when she looks like she snuck on earth sooooo she’s appreciative of that, if nothing else. also she likes being buggy it’s the ppl around her that don’t appreciate ‼️‼️if they were to put her on the seven it wld be a pity spot like “first AUTISTIC NONBINARY UNHUMAN FREAK member of the seven guys <3 SO progressive <3 now PLEASE put a bag on her head”

Omgomg ok so I have so many thoughts on Leo in this au forgive me in advance. He is indeed the youngest champion in history!! It's literally what he's been trained for his whole life, right up until Big Mama was confident he could take the title. He was 14, funny enough timeline-wise it's right around when April and Donnie meet Mayhem!

As for coping?? Well he's Leo. He is proud as hell of himself for it, and Lou Jitsu is a massive inspo for him and always has been, his fighting style (and personality to an extent) being emulated around him. He doesn't know that that's his father, and neither does Big Mama, but she sees the similarities and when everything really starts kicking off in the 'series' she starts to put two and two together

As it stands currently? To the audience it looks like a battle to the death, but in reality for Leo's battles the opponent is only ever unconscious. As much as she wants a show, she's smart enough to know that making him kill people will push him away quickly, and she wants him around

As for Splinter!! He's been looking for the boys the whole time, but with three being housed by Yokai and one's mutant status being p well hidden, it. Is not easy. The first person he meets in this au is actually April, and I plan for that meeting to happen right when the boys are all together for the first time during Bug Busters :)
