He's aware that Luz and the little guy have gone somewhere, and maybe he should have paid attention but it's just - no excuses, no weakness. It's weakness that's dulled his consciousness and made him slow.

He blinks, realizing that in the process, he's lost a few seconds in an exhausted haze.
