I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS ABOUT THIS CHAPTER I AM DYING. I can't believe they seriously pulled an Exarch with Materia and Spiritus. ALSO LIKE WOL WAS SO DISTRESSED ABOUT IT HAPPENING. Him being distressed makes me distressed 'cause he's usually so collected and sure of himself. But he was feeling all sorts of things and that made me sad 'cause he was sad and basically angsting. AND HIM AND GARLAND WERE BASICALLY READY TO JUST—FREAKING TAKE MATERIA AND SPIRITUS'S ROLES???? HELLO??? (But I'm glad they didn't go through with that 'cause I was already tearing up since we JUST got Wol back, omg.)

So now it's just like, "what now?" I'm excited for whatever's in Act 4 but I'm also really curious about what everyone's gonna do now aside from fending off the usual enemies and stuff. Ah well. We'll see.

i was going thru genealogy archives which is kinda a little rabbit hole i’ve gone down lately but anyways for a lot of old death records it’s just a page full of names from that day and their name and how they died, and i was looking for a great x3 grandfather and while i don’t think he was there i was looking thru one page, and i was like oh it says suffocated in.. coal? ok maybe it’s ns, and then the whole page is like that. in one day. and that was one page of probably a dozen that would have said the same thing and it was the very first mine disaster in canada in 1873 and 60 men died which was just really… fascinating to see the physical record made that day and it definitely made monumental impacts on that community and family but it was sobering seeing a list and just realizing the scale
