"...THE MECH REFLECTS THE BODY OF A SHARK WITH ITS AGGRESSIVE ANGLES AND MUSCULAR PROPORTIONS."
PIC(S) INFO: Resolution at 1024×1024 -- Mega spotlight on a custom built Shark Exo-suit/LEGO®️ mech. Photos uploaded to Flickr on July 22, 2021. Concept design by "MOKO."
"Who knew that a shark needs a mech?"
OVERVIEW: "Land sharks have become a reality, thanks to this fantastic model by Moko. Presented in a sand blue colour scheme, the mech reflects the body of a shark with its aggressive angles and muscular proportions. Turntable tops represent joint coverings across the mech, adding to the mechanical aesthetic of the model. The heavy cannon has some wonderful details, with the Hero Factory covering adding texture to the weapon. When facing this shark, its bite is the least of your worries. The mech is also able to split down the middle of its upper frame to allow access for placing the shark or an optional cockpit for a minifigure."

MOBILE INFANTRY POWER ARMOR MEETS LEGO® SPACE MARINES.
PIC INFO: Spotlight on the SM-4A1 Mauler, a.k.a., Standard issue LEGO® Space Marine heavy infantry support mecha. 📸: Peter L. Morris.
OVERVIEW: "Based on the diminutive Futuron Strategic Pursuer Mk-II, the Mauler has been "embiggened" in every way. It boasts a heavy recoilless plasma rifle, medium range Berserker Mk-IV tactical smart missiles, an anti-personnel close-range Hi-RoF photon cannon, heavy duty spotlight, and of course an industrial grade armored manipulator.
PART II: This, like the Strategic Pursuer before it, was based on Tromas' AD-Rock frame, but pushed to its limits. It barely stands on its own, and can only be posed by using clear nail polish stuff to stiffen the joints. Well, it's easier if I remove the ridiculous missile box, which makes it way too top-heavy."

LEGO® DUPLO MEETS TOYCORE MEETS THE WORLD OF CUSTOM MECH DESIGN.
PIC(S) INFO: Spotlight on a custom-made LEGO®DUPLO bot/mech by "Nobu-Tary" (via Flickr), c. 2017.
"Who’s the King of the Toybox? Well, I think we can answer that nobu-tary‘s latest LEGO mechanoid/hardsuit creation is a typically beefy beast, but tricked-out in an atypical colour scheme, accented with the use of Duplo bricks. I like the air of comic menace this thing is lugging around."
-- THE BROTHERS BRICK
DUPLO (n): LEGO® DUPLO® toys are fun preschool toys that encourage new abilities by educating, entertaining and engaging little ones
MECH (n): Mech is a term used in science fiction for a large, pilotable robot. Mech may also refer to: Mecha anime and manga, a genre of anime and manga.
Man, how @$!#*&% kool is this mech, though? And how 'bout those rockets in the back are just the cherry on top. So kool.

BRINGS WHOLE NEW MEANING TO THE TERM, "TURTLE POWER."
PIC INFO: Spotlight on a custom MFS-022 Archelon LEGO® Mech, a "Turtle Mech." Artwork by "Moko," c. December 2018.
"Continiuing from his recent transforming jellyfish mech, the superstar LEGO mecha builder Moko makes a more defensive, turtle-themed one. Do not let its protective posture fool you — this turtle is armed as heavily as it is armoured!
The animal form is great, but the turtle-like elements extend to the mech form as well, with its bulky shape, as well as a beak-like forehead. All the wedges on the back, set at complementing angles, make for a convincing turtle shell that gives an imposing presence to the mech form as well."

THIS "NON-SQUISHY" MECH WILL SQUISH THE LIFE OUT OF YOU.
PIC(S) INFO: Spotlight on a MFS-021 Chironex LEGO Mech, a.k.a., the "Jellyfish Mech," artwork by MOKO, c. October 2018.
OVERVIEW: "There is no doubt that Moko is one of the best and most prolific LEGO® mecha builders out there, and now he brings us a unique tentacle monster, which is also a robot! And it transforms!
Both forms of the mech manage to look perfect and menacing. Transforming creations often have to make compromises in one or both of their forms, but this one seems like the bricks were just made for it. The rich purple and translucent purple really make for an evil look and the splashes of blue on some tentacles help break it up a little and add a nice contrast. The dome is obviously the centerpiece of the build, but I also really like the grill tiles used on the inside of the tentacles as visible on the humanoid form, as they help to add a flowing look."
