Corpus Crewman

Crewmen are the basic infantry of Corpus, the merchant cult that drives commerce in the Sol system. Regular Crewmen wield standard-issue Dera laser rifles and try to flank and outnumber the player.

I am attempting something here by using mass upload program (PostyBirb) to re-post a bunch of my old MOC images. P sure not everyone who follows me today saw them back in the day, so it's a bunch of treats for y'all!

Building a collection of Lego ranged weapons for playing Mobile Frame Zero: Rapid Attack; most would work for minifigures too. Tried to create a simplified but robust list of options using common/cheap bricks that new comers could copy/iterate on. In theory you could outfit any mobile frame squad/company with all the weapons shown and fill any combination of direct/indirect/SSRs/split weapons (including melee if you use an underslung chainsaw a la Gears of War lancer or the 'fusion edge'-definitely-not-a-lightsaber). Boomers and shortys are pretty straightforward. Mechanically there's no difference between the Colsten and Maxters, both filling the direct range variations. Flavor wise Colstens tend to be single shot or 3 round burst with smaller magazines and little in the way to inherently manage heat (save the finned version), while the Maxters tend to be burst or full auto with drum magazines and water cooled barrels (making them more ideal for vacuum combat). Originally the Maxter was going to be a gatling gun, might double back around to that flavor wise. The Colsten is the mobile frame evolution of the WW2 Sten and Polsten. They were originally a stop gap for UMFL/Colonial Espatiers, but has been mostly adapted by Free Colony Cells while better supported UMFL/CE have moved on to The MRS. The Maxter on the other hand is the preferred space combat option over the Colsten. Although the Maxter also has a longer/safer usage time in space than The MRS, the latter is formed from superior alloys that absorb vastly more heat before being impacted, and is usually preferred for the increased reliability and optional loadouts.

For LMK and Warframe fans

I know that a lot of the warframes in Warframe are mostly based on Japanese mythology, but they also have Chinese mythology and Wukong as well! You can get the warframe through clan research and there's a neat skin for it in the market. Also the 4 abilities are all matching to Wukong so there's that neat bit. Though I haven't tried this warframe yet, it does look fun (I'm a Zephyr/Mesa main).

They also have Nezha, but Nezha doesn't have as many skins.

It's really funny seeing all the bionicle asks as someone who knows nothing about bionicle. It's always like "Hey Holly what's your favorite skrackle mine's skwiks" and plenty of times you'll respond with an image of some unidentifiable creature. Really looking forward to whenever the Bionicle stream is finished. It seems I have a lot to learn.

I feel like that's the case for any piece of fiction that uses Made Up or Not-Standard-In-English words. You go talk to anyone into "Warframe" as an outsider & have fun playing your own game of "is this a made up sci-fi word or is this more archaic Greek/Sanskrit/Middle English?"

Early Bionicle straight up lifts a bunch of names and terms from Māori culture and language (& Lego got sued for cultural appropriation because of it LOL).

in further unexpected news... the inaros rework is great? i mean he's not saryn or xaku or any of the other really good ones but like he's usable now. he's fun. i love this. also no i totally haven't dumped 200 plat, a helminth ability, and 3 forma already into new cosmetics and mod polarizations because i became enamored with a new steel path build idea, why would you ask that.
