#9 for Haven then!

#9 was "If your character could have handed their role in the plot to someone else, would they have?"

Haven, from my my fic Let's Be Honest, If You Could Hop Dimensions, You'd Save Eddie Munson Too, is a (non binary, hence the pronouns) time/dimension traveler who doesn't really know any other dimension travelers personally, so probably would believe there was no one else for the job. They came to the Stranger Things dimension specifically to save Eddie from his fate, and maybe cause a little chaos along the way to try and help everyone else out. But their goal is Eddie. Then it quickly turns out that Steve is a welcome third in their happy little relationship, and they become a unit like it was meant to be. Traumatic situations and dire circumstances tend to heighten everyone's emotions and speed things along lol

So really, after meeting these boys, and the group in Hawkins, they wouldn't want to give up their role in the story for anything. Because they had such strong feelings for Eddie (and clearly read the vibes between Steve and Eddie correctly) that they left their world behind and committed themselves to a dangerous, chaotic dimension where a psychotic psychic earthworm man is dangling their lives on a string.

They're too down bad for Steddie to give up now, and there's no one else for the job. They're gonna help El kick Vecna's ass for his sheer audacity.
