LBMR week: day 5 - Comeback

Guys a person has died. Can we like... focus?

comeback... as in a quick reply to a critical remark hehe - my favourite canon dialogue between Alfendi and Lucy is in The Hand Sandwich when you ask for a hint while looking at the pickles evidence file. they are so melodramatic for no reason. they are so stupid <3 I love them (no one ever explain the logistics of the Reconstruction Device to me. I assume its like weird VR)

Zach is starting to regret showing up to talk to these people though...

day 02: backstab

LBMR Week: Day 1 Favourite Side Character

Of all the suspects in the game my favourite would have to be Uttar. He had such a sweet relationship with Al and Lucy, not to mention he interest in mobsters was quite funny. I was originally going to draw a completed picture of this, but because of my schedule, I was only able to draw the first draft. But hey, that’s life, so consider this a sneak piece of what’s to come.

I actually missed the entire event, but @laytonbrothersbirthdaybash is the reason I dug up this old sketch from 2015 and actually finished it. THIS GAME IS STILL SO GOOD, I LOVE IT AND I LOVE ALFENDI.

Mystery Room is my favourite Layton game, so I managed to find a free hour to draw at least something for the LBMR week.

So, my very late entry for Day 1: Favourite Character. Of course, it’s Alfendi.

theorizing about Alfendi’s relationship with Hershel already makes my head spin, and comparing it to the snippets of information we got from Diane about her own father... well it gives me plenty to think about for sure.

Day 2 of the Layton Brothers Birthday Bash 2022! 

Summary:

Lucy wanted to jump at that, but her own body wouldn’t let her. What was he doing?!, her mind screamed but her mouth wouldn’t form the words. The only thing it could muster was a pained moan from her fruitless attempt to get up. She blinked, her vision again blurred by the pain. When she could finally make out Alfendi’s face, it was dark. His eyes, normally so soft and understanding were hard and cold, his hair was the colour of blood, and the smile in his face spoke of nothing but joy and death.

Hey peoples, I'm back. had my first day at the new university, got a bunch of free stuff bc that is what the first day of uni here is like aaaaand have no idea what to write for tomorrow. But that's tomorrow's problem I'd say, not mine ^^
