Fuck it. 80s Fantasy Movie poll.
I ran out of space. And no, there is no "more than one" option, you gotta choose.
Reblog if you wanna for more reach etc etc.

Today, I learned that a fairly obscure 80s fantasy movie I watched in my youth is credited with helping popularize the Friesian horse breed in the US.
Good job, Ladyhawke.

In the film, the horse is called Goliath, but his actual name was Othello. He's clearly a fancy boy as he does dressage steps in the movie.
(This movie, if you're curious, is a yearning movie. She is a hawk during the day, he is a wolf during the night. Also, Matthew Broderick is there.)

I love how in Ladyhawke The Mouse is a lying liar who lies but the way he lies to the two romantic leads is all "he frequently told me you were the most amazing woman to ever live, he says you are the reason for his existence, and he spends every waking moment waxing poetic about his agony at the curse that keeps you apart from him." (he mentioned her twice, and most of his time is occupied by keeping the three of them alive.) "She spent the entirety of last night talking about you." (She spent ten minutes talking about him, she spent the rest of the night dancing with Mouse, engaging in friendly banter with him, and committing second-degree murder) he really did look at this couple who were practically married and decided to be their wingman for each other.
