Hi there!

I had a L4-L5 microdiscectomy – so basically, they removed part of my disc that was compressing my spinal canal and affecting my nerves. It helped SO MUCH with my back pain, which had been an issue for a long time, and now it’s just trying to wait through the recovery period to get on living my life. Edit: it’s also helped a lot with my hips in particular because I don’t have to move in an way that lessens the impact on my back anymore, but it’s taken my muscles awhile to get used to!
