Was thinking a lot about the two animatics, especially the newest one, @tapakah0 has made and it kinda… inspired me to create this video edit haha. Could have not been made without (L.O.V.E, Episode 5) and (L.O.V.E, Episode 11)! Thank you Tapa for your amazing works and the effort you’ve put into this lovely comic 💙💙💙

This is neither an analysis nor a criticism, it's just a lot of verbal vomit about C.A.S. and L.O.V.E. BECAUSE I NEED TO YELL THIS AT SOMEONE

Okay, I love this parallelism between C.A.S. and L.O.V.E. because you feel all the effort and influence that one story makes on the other... *inhales*

C.A.S., although it focuses on what life is like for the brothers during the B.T.L. (bad time line) is, giving us an ending where the brothers could not change their future, but Casey changed the present (? (it is damn complicated to explain this). Casey took his uncles from the B.T.L. and brought them to the G.T.L. (good time line) and showed us what the CONSEQUENCES of that are like

But in L.O.V.E. Tapa he showed us life at the beginning of the B.T.L. and changed the future, so the movie never existed, most of them died, but the brothers recovered and saved their home, with CONSEQUENCES, (oh my gosh, catch me I'm fainting) Cover two is giving an ending where they SAVED THE DAMN WORLD and without the need for Mikey and Leo to die, (I mean, Casey almost died, but... Details)

The parallelism between the two is:

In L.O.V.E., they clung on and changed the ending, they changed the future and changed their present, they clung to the home they knew and knew how to move forward with the losses (April, Casey, Big Mama, Todd, others, are CANONICALLY DEAD), but they are building a future for Casey, for the humans and yokai who survived and THAT IS FUCKING KILLING ME

BUT OTHERWISE, in C.A.S., THEY DIED, the movie happened and Casey was the only one who survived, and (can we talk about the trauma that the boy possibly has? He saw his whole family die ;-;) but Casey and with a Plot twist very well thought out, he brought the mad scientist to the G.T.L. and now he can bring the people he loves to a timeline where they don't need to be in constant war and death

the point of this? I LOVE THOSE FUCKING TURTLES SO MUCH AND I LOVE BOTH COMICS SO MUCH, TAPA AND CASS DESERVE EVERYTHING GOOD IN THIS WORLD, MUACK

Sometimes I see the expressions Tap uses in her art and it tugs at my heart in ways I don't fully understand.

How powerful and profound must an image created by a single pair of hands be to redefine the very definition of love, grief, heartbreak, hope?

I feel like I can only dream of doing something like that - I strive to create something with even a fraction of that level of feeling just so I can hand it back to her and say "thank you so much."

FINALLY, SOMEONE WHO SHARES MY THEORY THAT THE RED SOUL IS LOVE. I love the duality of the name too, with L.O.V.E. and Love corresponding to different routes (No mercy and pacifist). I think sans put it best in the Last Corridor. “you never gained LOVE, but you gained love.” Also I feel like it fits better than determination (Gold/yellow is the color associated with Determination, not red!). Sorry for the long “ask”, I just wanted to share some thoughts.

oh boy, its been a while, but we are trending! this time because we got the fabled rain scene/7 month anniversary of cas, and tapakah dropped a double update of L.O.V.E., and @happyfoxx-art fed us some pb&j goodies from her aftermath comic!

L.O.V.E. By sushi soucy is so ghost of a bar kid haunting Bruce after he accidentally killed them after they stepped out of line, or maybe he was just mad, and then he tried to hide it but the ghost is having none of that.

All the Barbies work in this situation individually I think

A story where Bruce accidentally murders one of his own kids and tries to hide it and lie about it?

That would be such a fucked up AU, and I'm here for it.

For this song, the singer mentions that they were killed "last summer." Therefore, Bruce was able to hide this murder for over six months. Imma build this AU:

Bruce, in a fit of rage, kills one of his kids. This is most likely to be Dick or Jason (just due to him hitting them more in comics), with Tim as the third most likely option. Something something, escalation of "communication" habits. Dealer's choice on who gets murdered.

The man then "sends" the kid he killed on a "mission" where the kid is either undercover for months or ends up killed on the field.

I think Steph should be the one to start to put the clues together. Tim would choose to protect his siblings, but, at least in this AU, it's harder initially for him to move past his bias that "there's no way Bruce would do that." This is why, despite the red flags, Tim didn't piece it together himself. After Steph brings up the points, Tim can either dismiss her, help her while disagreeing, or grimly accept the likelihood.

Cass could be someone Steph turns to before Tim or who they both go to next.

Perhaps, in some weird version of protecting them, those three decide to try to shield their younger siblings (Duke and Damian) until they get solid evidence. Perhaps they find ways to keep the two of them away from Bruce (sending Damian to TT and ensuring Bruce stays out of Gotham to take care of other business). Duke and Damian notice eventually, but it buys them time.

After gathering enough evidence, the three present their case to Barbara. Of course, it absolutely wrecks her emotionally. This is when it finally sinks in for the three that their sibling is dead.

Barbara gets to work finding irrefutable proof as the three call up which ever sibling didn't die (Jason or Dick). They then make plans to protect everyone and keep Bruce away from the youngest (as well as needing to tell them what's going on).

If you want, this could all be told from the perspective of the kid who was murdered. They watch as Bruce covers it up (and wracks himself with guilt over it [which has complicated feeling for the kid cause fuck Bruce but that's their dad]). The kid watches as Steph starts to figure it out and how the interaction with Tim and Cass go. They watch as they all suddenly understand that their sibling is dead.

Soo.. I finally got around to reading/watching L.O.V.E.

I really liked this frame in one of the animatics so I decided to try to redraw it. I thought about keeping the color palette but considering the.. I dunno, atmosphere? In the original animatic? I felt like the darker, dramatic lighting might go better. Though unfortunately it makes it difficult to tell the difference between some pieces. Anyway, @tapakah0 thanks for putting so much time and effort into the comics/animatics! I really liked the way certain parts of the timeline were presented that usually get ignored. (I mean, for fair reason, I imagine it's difficult to figure out how things could go from the turtles being fine to having an entire army to resist against the Krang..)

Cities!Tale curiosidades!

Por que o nome "Cities!Tale"?

O nome vem por causa da Cidade da Lua que é onde fica o orfanato e os humanos monstros criada por Zaki para proteger os híbridos na guerra e serviu de esconderijo na segunda guerra mundial para os híbridos também e o título da au é no plural porque a o reino de Raj se chamava "Cidade do Sol" ou seja, os humanos vivem em uma cidade e os híbridos em outra até o Raj encontrar o irmão e atender seu último pedido após o matar

Os olhos de Zaki

Eu no outro post o desenhei sem olhos e com os olhos fechados para dar um ar de mistério, mas ele tem olhos sim e como é dito no post são prateados assim como sua coroa de louros

C!Toriel já conheceu o M!Ink no orfanato

Mya Comyet como eu disse no post do M!Ink no Instagram abandonou o filho em um orfanato, ainda não se sabe o porquê ela fez isso, mas quem criou M!Ink foi C!Toriel e as famílias que o adotaram e o devolveram sendo a única que ficou com ele foi o M!Top Gaster

Ele chegou no orfanato antes de C!Frisk e nunca chegou a conhecer o mesmo, mas já viveu durante a guerra e depois cresceu e virou adulto e C!Frisk seguiu seu rumo sem nunca o conhecer mas M!Ink sabe da existência dele mas nem se importa em o conhecer

Por que o C!Frisk não fez a rota genocida?

C!Frisk no final original faz a rota neutra e a pacifista mesmo tendo forças e armamento para fazer a genocida direto, então por que ele não fez?

C!Frisk não é uma pessoa má ele só é alguém machucado e mesmo no final alternativo que ele faz a rota genocida foi por sobrevivência pra tentar sair daquele lugar e no final genocida que ele dedura foi por vingança ao orfanato pelo bullying que ele sofreu lá dentro

Eu fiz esse desenho seguindo uma referência que achei no Pinterest, mas o C!Frisk só fica assim após seu desejo de sobrevivência ir sumindo e sua vontade de matar ir aumentando aí nessa rota ele se torna um viciado em L.O.V.E

As diferenças e paralelos de Chara de Cities!Tale e de M!UT!Chara

MoonFanchild Tale é um am baseado na história de um au que é Cities!Tale o tornando um multiverso alternativo com espécies puras e híbridas como nesse au, essa divisão ocorre da escolha da C!Toriel de ficar na superfície cuidando do orfanato e da M!UT!Toriel de ser jogada no subsolo e aí a história não muda

As/Os dois Charas não tem muitas diferenças exceto que C!Chara é melhor amig@ de Moon Flowey/Zaki e primeiro chegou ao orfanato e depois ao subsolo e Chara é melhor amig@ de Asriel e caiu no subsolo direto já que não existia o orfanato

C!Chara ficou com o cabelo cacheado nas pontas por causa da aura de Zaki que vivia dentro de Moon Flowey e deu @ elu um pingente de coração roxo

Ambos passados del@s não se sabem, talvez seus pais morreram, talvez tenham fugido de casa, mas ambos tem o sangue de Raj Lazyell correndo nas veias por serem parentes distantes dele

Lazyell morre com a culpa de ter matado o irmão mais novo e sua determinação passa pra sua filha que deu início a linhagem de Chara

Gênero de C!Frisk e C!Chara

C!Frisk é um garoto demi-boy então as vezes flui pro neutro e C!Chara assim como no original não tem o gênero revelado dando a entender que é neutro
