The moment they announced you and Shinyu were on the same team, the camera immediately zoomed in on his face—and oh boy, the panic was visible.

He went stiff for a second before quickly bowing to you, avoiding eye contact like his life depended on it.

You smiled at him, and he literally malfunctioned. The members were already laughing at how shy he was.

“Shinyu, breathe,” Jihoon teased.(is either Jihoon or Dohoon)

The entire game? He was so focused on not embarrassing himself that he almost forgot to play.

At some point, you accidentally brushed against his hand, and he nearly dropped whatever he was holding.

The moment he finally started relaxing? The hosts brought up his ideal type… and guess who fit the description perfectly?

“Shinyu, is it true you like someone on your team?”

Shinyu.exe has stopped working.

Dohoon

Y’all were way too close. Like, personal space? Never heard of it.

The setup had you two standing side by side, shoulders practically touching, and it did not help that the game required you to work together.

At one point, you leaned in to talk to him, and he could literally hear his own heartbeat.

“Dohoon, are you okay? You look a little—”

POOF. His ears went completely red.

The members did not let him live. “Dohoon-ah, is it hot in here?”

When the game ended, the staff played a slow-motion replay of you two working together, background music and all.

RIP Dohoon.

Youngjae

You and Youngjae were co-MCs, meaning you had to present all the games together.

He started off strong, all smiles and bright energy, but the moment you called his name and made eye contact?

Flustered. Just giggling through his words like a fool.

“Youngjae-ssi, you seem very happy today.”

“Ahaha, um, yeah! I-It’s a good day!” SWEATING.

At some point, you did a little joke skit, and he laughed so hard he had to turn away and cover his face.

The editors did him so dirty, zooming in on his smile while adding pink sparkles around him.

By the end, he finally got comfortable, but then they showed a behind-the-scenes clip of him practicing his lines nervously before the show.

“Youngjae, you knew who the MC was, huh?” EXPOSED.

Hanjin

The happiest man alive. The moment he saw you, his smile got even bigger (which everyone thought was impossible).

“Hanjin, you look excited.”

“Of course! It’s a good day!” (He and Youngjae should’ve just held hands at this point.)

He clapped, laughed, and cheered for you even when you weren’t on his team.

Every time you spoke, he nodded aggressively like the biggest fan ever.

“Hanjin, are you playing, or are you just here to support [Y/N]?”

“I can do both!” BIG SMILE.

At one point, the game required him to carry you, and he did not hesitate. Picked you up like it was nothing. The other members SCREAMED.

He didn’t even realize how flirty he was being until the hosts played back his reactions in slow-mo.

Hanjin screaming internally.

Jihoon

Y’all were playing against each other, which meant Jihoon had one goal: Make you lose.

“Jihoon, focus on the game!”

“I am focused. Focused on distracting [Y/N].”

Constantly making jokes, imitating you, even fake whispering “Let’s team up” just to throw you off.

“You’re so annoying.”

“You love it.”

But the moment you actually started winning, he went full dramatic mode.

“YAH, EVERYONE, STOP THEM!” Throws himself on the floor in protest.

The final round was a one-on-one, and it got intense. Eye contact, teasing smirks, you trying to outsmart him—

And then he lost. And the punishment? A cheesy confession to the winner.

“Jihoon, any last words?”

He sighed, walked over, and held your hands dramatically. “I admit it… I was distracted by your beauty.”

The members booed him so fast.

Kyungmin

He thought he was calm. He wanted to be cool.

But the moment he saw you? His hands went straight into his pockets, and he just stared at the floor, biting his lip to hide his smile.

During the games, he genuinely tried his best but kept getting distracted.

“Kyungmin, are you okay?”

“M-Me? Yeah! I’m fine! Haha! I-I’m just… thinking.”

Thinking about not embarrassing himself.

But then the camera caught him stealing glances at you the whole time.

After the show ended, while everyone was getting ready to leave, he finally gathered the courage to walk up to you.

Dohoon went into hiding after the show aired.

Youngjae? Forever remembered for his giggle era.

Hanjin was just happy to be there.

You and Kyungmin had been dating for almost 9 months now but before that you had known each other for a while, you practically grew up together. You were part of the same group of friends but never really interacted.

You spoke for the first time in your first year of high school, all because you were put in the same group for a project. The both of you hated group work, so you weren’t looking forward to doing it, at first. But after basically living in the café next to your dorm for about a month and a half, and spending all of your free time with him and two other classmates, you ended up bonding over multiple cups of coffee and lack of sleep.

You discovered that you had several things in common and how cute and funny he was. When the project was submitted, you continued to hang out.

You slowly fell for each other throughout high school, and only started going out in your first year of college.

Kyungmin is a shy guy by nature, so even if you had been close for years, he was still shy around you. Specially when it came to physical contact.

To be honest, he loved any type of contact like cuddling or just holding your hand but he was too shy to initiate it.

But now, he was determined to do it first.

He had a rough day at uni so the only thing that he wanted to do was having you close and watching your favorite show together.

He walked into the small apartment you had right outside campus, thankfully your roommate wasn’t home so he hadn’t had to worry about her. Kyungmin didn’t dislike her, she was actually nice but he wasn’t in the mood to talk to anybody but you today.

You were just walking out of the bathroom while drying your hair with a towel when you spotted your boyfriend by the front door.

“Hi, baby!” You strutted towards him, placing the towel on a nearby chair, and then snuggling into his arms.

“Hey, pretty.” He corresponded your hug, tightening the embrace.

“How’s it going?” You asked him.

“Hmm, not that good.”

“Oh, you wanna talk about it?”

He shook his head. “Not really.”

“We’ll talk whenever you want to, okay?”

“Okay. Thank you, my love.” He bent over to kiss your cheek, making you blush.

You smiled and took his hand, pulling him towards your coach.

While you grabbed the tv’s remote and turned on the show you were currently binge watching together, Kyungmin got comfortable leaning against the cushions.

When you sat down you felt a hand on your waist and then being pulled back. This flustered you since your boyfriend was never this touchy.

This was a new side of him but you weren’t complaining.

You rested your back against his chest and turned to look at him, a sweet smile on your face.

He was already looking at you with a shy smile and red cheeks, and leaned down to give you a kiss on the forehead.

“I love you.” He spoke in a soft tone.

“I love you too.” You responded, snuggling in his chest, him resting his arm around you.

You always made him feel better, even with small acts like this.

what was foreign, though, was his very apparent distance.

to be fair, he wasn't fully aware he was doing it. it was more so "when i'm around them i get this Feeling. i cant handle that Feeling right now," then he kinda just. goes somewhere else for the time being.

you'd realize it, overthink it all, and text him on a whim that you needed to talk to him.

he'd get so nervous and only then would he really think about his behavior and . . . yeah you deserved an explanation, even if it resulted in rejection for him :(

he wouldn't speak first. he'd want you to feel welcomed to let out any emotion you were feeling; you were the one who wanted to talk, it wouldn't be right of him to take over.

he'd know that no matter his reason, him suddenly avoiding you and saying "i didn't realize" wasn't going to cut it, so swallowing whatever anxiety he had, he confessed then and there. it wasn't too in depth, of course, but it didn't feel right for him to hide it any longer - especially after everything.

but, the silence that followed his confession made all the anxiety bubble up again, only for you to speak about your reciprocated feelings.

in an unknown way, him pulling back from you is what brought you two together in the end; strange how that works.

⁰⁰² : MYUNGHO.

he's not shy in the slightest LMFAOO 💀 it'd be more shocking if you didn't know he liked you.

it doesn't even matter if you two were hanging out with other people either, he'd make a point to sit by you during a movie. even if it wasn't a horror movie, he'd still tell you that if you're scared, you can cling to him (as if he is any better with scary movies . . . his arm ends up around your shoulder anyways).

he's not usually one for talking during a movie, but he cant help but crack jokes here and there, using that as an excuse to lean in closer to you and watch as you try to hold your laughter in, his eyes watching you adoringly.

myungho would pull you into your own little world when you're with one another,,, he'd literally be so obvious about his feelings for you i'm crying.

openly flirting and complimenting you non-stop,,, holding eye contact if you ever caught him looking at you,,,

myungho would literally tell you how much he liked you straight up 🤭 "i like you a lot, y'know that?" "i'm so glad i met you." "you'll let me stay with you, right?"

the only time EVER he'd get shy if it was you who initiated something. he'd actually lose his mind.

it'd be such a stark contrast to the myungho you knew previously that you couldn't help but laugh a bit whenever you caught him like that.

holding his hand out of nowhere or leaning your head on his shoulder is a surefire way to make heat rise along his neck and make him go speechless.

he's so open about it and talks about you so much. his members are SICK OF HIM!!!! /j

minho probably threatened that if he doesn't make a move soon that he'll ask you out himself . . . you'd get a message from myungho the next morning ♡

bye he's so so playful and he'd be able to cover up how he truly felt pretty well, which was both a positive and a negative for him.

positive: he'd be able to hug you nonchalantly or tap his cheek asking for a kiss and you'd think nothing of it.

negative: you'd think nothing of it.

since minho often acts this way with his friends as well, he slowly becomes self-conscious of his actions, worrying that that's all you saw him as - a friend.

he'd probably slowly try to either a: be more forward with you, or b: reserve certain actions for you only.

minho would stop blowing kisses to myungho and asking seungheon to kiss his cheek. he might even go as far as to not be as physically affectionate with his members anymore.

slowly letting you come to the conclusion yourself that the way he treats you is different from his members.

if you weren't the type to fight against him when he acted this way, if you suddenly started reciprocating the same actions towards him, his head would start spinning.

if it was a normal occurrence for you to return his energy, he'd start to wonder if you treated your friends like this as well.

but . . . he never saw you cling onto jaeyun's arms like you do with him . . . and you don't look at haemin the same way you look at him . . . hm . . .

yoonsung falls hard and doesn't want to overwhelm you with how he feels and everything :( wants to try and soak in the feeling of crushing on you but every time he sees you he just gets so overjoyed and just wants to confess right then and there.

which is why he feels he needs to take this to his grave 😭 he's not sure if he will ever be able to fully "calm down" around you enough to properly confess to you the way you deserve to be confessed (he thinks you deserve the world).

tries to act as Normal as he can around you, but most of the time i think he'd fall kind of silent.

whether you're with a group of friends or just talking one-on-one, he'd get so wrapped up in his thoughts and become uncharacteristically quiet.

it was a constant internal battle for yoonsung. he wanted to be near you but also knew he likely couldn't hide how he felt for much longer.

unlike minho, yoonsung wasn't going to hug you or hold your hand out of no where. he did this with his friends, sure, but he didn't see you as just a friend, which made physical affection towards you that much harder.

the lines would get blurred in his brain and he feared if you reciprocated, even if it was platonic, he'd make an assumption that could end up hurting him.

of course, yoonsung was unaware of your feelings towards him as well, and seeing him seemingly pulling away from you, you subconsciously do the same :(

he doesn't realize just how different he was acting towards you until that moment, and as if his heart took control over his brain, he'd spill all of his feelings for you, doing his best to explain away his behavior.

and it worked - who could stay mad at him for too long?

everything would be going perfectly fine for haemin,,, until minho jokingly commented about how much he liked you. then that became all he thought about.

begin haemin's internal debate of if he liked you romantically or not! and if it was true (it was), how long? upon actually giving it a lot of thought . . . he's liked you for a while without really processing his feelings effectively.

and now,,, he cannot properly face you!! at least, not in the beginning.

everything hits him so fast and he's forced to process his emotions at a rapid pace now. he does a decent job at hiding his inner turmoil about the topic, but he eventually confides in kyungmin about it (though it wasn't on purpose),, kyungmin just caught him while he was dazed!! totally not like he went to kyungmin stressing about possibly ruining your friendship hahaha . . .

once he was able to fully "recover" and process everything, he's a goner. heart eyes are permanent.

just so absolutely infatuated with everything you do and say. comes around more often and always manages to take the spot next to you if you're with a group of people.

always always always joking around with you because he loves the sound of your laugher and how happy you seem when you smile, especially when you smile because of him.

in a twisted ending, haemin is grateful that minho made him fall into a crisis. if he hadn't, he wouldn't have been able to have these moments with you.

once you end up together, minho rightfully takes full credits for the relationship starting, kyungmin taking credit for helping haemin get over his fear of ruining everything between you two.

so - albeit his disagreement - haemin accepts that they should get some credit for their help.

but how it all came to be doesn't matter much, as long as in the end, he ended up with you.

i'm not usually fond of the trope of someone who brings up the person they like every time they can but,,,, kyungmin does exactly that. his members get so tired of him for it too HELP (he's gotten into the practice of just,, thinking of you instead of verbally bringing you up so often).

his members' anger (/j) doesn't stop him though!! every chance he gets he talks about you,, the only time that stops is when you're around 🧍‍♂️

when you're around, he'd be much more into listening rather than speaking himself.

kyungmin would love love love to rest his head on your shoulder!! whether he's standing behind you while talking with a group of friends or sitting next to each other watching a movie, he just likes the feeling (bonus points if his arm is looped under yours to play with your fingers).

he'd be in his own head a lot,,, daydreaming and such,,, even though you're right next to him 🧍‍♂️

if you were to nudge him while he was like this, he'd look at you with the most love-filled gaze.

he didn't have to say anything to you, just from the way he looked at you and the light blush forming on his cheeks, you knew. the way your stomach filled with butterflies as you held his gaze was also a great indicator that his look meant something more.

it was then when he saw how your gaze changed too - it changed to one that matched his own. with a deep breath, he'd squeeze your hand before a smile spread across his face.

OMI NOTE marceline songs hit like ten times different so writing this literally had me pumped. i've never done forced proximity before but it's extremely fitting.

cho kyungmin was quite literally the spawn of satan, your sworn enemy til the day you’d die. the face that you fell for ended up being the face that also left you stranded like an idiot. when you couldn’t cry anymore and your eyes felt puffy and numb, you turned to hate.

classes the following week became even more difficult to believe, as you felt small in comparison to his lingering presence. there was a possibility that maybe he forgot about the first date he planned, things happen and that was something you were okay with.

but you weren’t expecting him to act like nothing happened, act like he didn’t spend countless nights laughing over the phone like he was yours. you felt like a mere ghost, parading through his life like a fucking play toy. because from your perspective, you were just his problem.

“not really, i don’t know. i’m just a little frustrated with everything right now.” you groan in response, setting down your utensil to bury your face in your hands.

“let me guess, does this have something to do with him?” he raises one of his eyebrows as you nod in annoyance.

“dude, i overheard haemin complaining that his only friend,” you air quoted, “was being transferred into my p.e. period. and we both know exactly who he was talking about.”

“that’s rough, have you talked to jaeyun about it? since he’s one of the sports captains, he could probably tell you for sure if that’s what you’re worried about.” he suggests.

“haemin and kyungmin are practically inseparable. even when i liked kyungmin, he was honestly kind of hesitant talking to me without him around. so i know for a fact i’m going to see his stupid face tomorrow.” you ramble, letting out a defeated exhale.

“listen, you’ll be perfectly fine. don’t let him work you up like that, he doesn’t deserve the satisfaction, okay?” he advised you, patting your shoulder for comfort.

“minho, he shouldn’t even need satisfaction in the first place! kyungmin left me at a park. in the rain.” you emphasize the last bit, “i’m the only one that deserves to hate him.”

“i know, and it sucks. but i’ve heard this story like a million times, y/n. we need to get you some kind of therapy sessions if you’re going to keep at it like this.”

“literally choke.”

“kidding! i’m kidding. don’t do that to me please and thank you.” he laughed lightly, “but seriously, you’ll be okay. you always are. plus i’m just a phone call away if you need me to curse him over the phone or something, i don’t know.”

“you do too much for me minho. don’t worry, i know you just want to help me, thank you. i’ll try to figure it out i guess.” you exaggerate a sigh, making minho lean over to give you a friendly hug.

“now, eat your food before i feed the scraps to the birds on our way to next period.” he threatens, pointing a chopstick at your forehead.

after letting out all of your problems like word vomit, you were finally able to swallow down some of your meal. minho, your respective best friend had heard almost all of your hell stories about wanting to rip off kyungmin’s head. it was almost like he experienced the whole thing with you; or maybe the idea of him drenched down in a casual dress was a funny thing to imagine.

lunch passed by quickly, as did the rest of the school day. you took notes, turned in assignments, complained minho’s ear off once more, and suddenly the final bell rang meaning you could finally return home. in between all of this, you somehow forgot about the boy in your aching heart.

your steps pattered against the pavement when a feeling of dread washed over you. why did it feel like your world was going to shatter at school tomorrow? fallen leaves crushed underneath your shoes, resembling how scattered your mind felt.

day eighty - six of loathing kyungmin and every bone in your body felt like it was going to give out and abandon you as a pile of fleshy mush. you and your classmates gathered in the field wearing your p.e. uniforms, waiting for your coach to come out with the proper equipment.

kyungmin was only a couple people away from you and it already gave you an incomprehensible headache. just feeling his presence near you sent shivers down your spine, and you knew he could care less about whether you were there or not.

was it immature to still be hung up on what happened between the two of you even after almost three months?

you couldn’t stomach your stress right now, attempting to take deep breaths to soothe yourself. the cold air helped slightly; you became thankful for the dreary weather and couple raindrops that fell from the sky.

“alright everyone, it seems to be sprinkling a bit, but we’ll pass around the football for now. let’s just hope the rain doesn’t get too intense.” your coach explains, “pair up with the person next to you and come grab a ball.”

“i can go get the ball.” you offer  the girl next to you before walking over to the net full of footballs.

reaching your hand into the bag, you press a finger into each one, making sure you grab one that isn’t too flat nor too full of air. you’re searching for a couple seconds, before another hand bumps into yours.

“oh, i’m sorry–” looking up to apologize, you find yourself face to face with kyungmin. you take back your hand quickly.

“don’t be sorry, it’s not your fault your hand was in the way.” he smiles almost mockingly.

“whatever.” you mumble, pulling away to let him grab what he needs first although there were two bags.

while you wait, more droplets of water pattered against your skin, becoming slightly more frequent. you look over to your coach talking to another teacher, darting his gaze up from the sky and to his co - worker. he blows his whistle suddenly, as everyone looks over in his direction.

“seems like the rain is just going to get worse from here.” he announces before pointing at you and kyungmin, “both of you go put the equipment away, the rest of us will head back into the gym and run some laps around the courts for the rest of the period.

there was a chorus of disappointed murmurs from your classmates, before they all dropped the footballs they were able to grab. this left you and kyungmin alone, making your anxiety sky - rocket. against your will, you grab one of the bags and start towards the shed.

the sound of shoes against squishy grass tell you that kyungmin is following closely behind. you speed up with half of your intentions to get away from him and the other half to escape from the drowning rain.

once you get under the awning of the equipment shed, you slide open the already half - open door to let yourself in. there’s an assortment of different sports balls and rackets, all somewhat organized. kyungmin closes the door behind the both of you unknowingly while you find a spot to put away the footballs.

dropping down the bag in silence, you leave him to do the same and head out. when you twisted the door knob, it felt almost jammed. turning it harder and harder, it was deemed useless, making you panic.

“hello? hello!” you fidget with the door, practically throwing yourself against it in hopes it will magically open.

“did we get locked inside?” the boy behind you questions, making you turn around in disbelief.

“no actually, i’m just communicating with god on the other side. yes it’s locked!” you argued, “why did you close it behind you?”

“i didn’t know it wasn’t supposed to be closed!” he defended himself.

“oh my gosh i think i’m going to fucking faint if i have to be here with you for who knows how long.” you start pacing around the shed.

“i’m right here, you know.”

“do you want me to treat you like a princess or something? is that what you want me to do?” you tell him, “we’re not exactly on good terms you know.”

“you don’t have to freak out about it, someone will come find us eventually.” he shrugs.

“please tell me this is a nightmare.” you mutter under your breath.

“it’s pretty real, i don’t know.” he says, sitting down on the floor.

“oh my god i’m not asking you, kyungmin.”

“this isn’t fun for me either, you know. you don’t have to pretend like you’re the only one in distress here.” he mumbles.

“am i that much of an inconvenience to you? last time i checked there’s no reason for you to be mad at me.” you scoff, taking your own seat on the floor.

“i never said you were an inconvenience to me, i just don’t really want to be trapped in a sweaty equipment shed with the smell of leather like.. everywhere.” he explains casually, picking up a tennis ball.

you curl your knees into your body, leaning your head back against the wall, “yeah, right.”

“do i really stress you out that much?” he asks you out of nowhere.

“yes.” you respond blatantly.

“why?”

“i shouldn’t have to justify what i do. i have nothing to prove, kyungmin. you just do.” you claimed, “and i haven’t even got a proper explanation or apology yet.”

tension became thick in the air, palpable enough to be cut with even the dullest knife. being in the same room with someone you swore was your most hated person made your face heat up. yet you still wrapped your arms around yourself in an attempt to feel less cold.

the sound of a tennis ball being thrown against the wall and bouncing back filled your ears, though you weren’t in a circumstance to complain. anything was better than sitting in silence for who knows how long. 

minutes went by with no sign of a teacher coming to break the two of you free. it wouldn’t be long before the bell rang for the next period, leaving you feeling hopeless. the rain only seemed to get heavier outside.

being forced in proximity with kyungmin made you less angry in a way. every second that ticked by messed with your head, inching to get come kind of answer out of him. though in a way, it made you miss him more. he’d never leave class without you by his side, getting you juices from the vending machine, holding your hand tightly when you were nervous for a test.

“you’re kind of unbelievable, you know.” you spoke.

“what is that supposed to mean?” he glanced over to you curiously.

“that night. you said you’d take me on a walk through the park after we stopped to get food. but you never showed up to the restaurant, so i assumed you’d be waiting for me there.” you told him, feeling tinges of sadness rather than hate, “i waited on a bench for an hour before it started pouring. you never showed up.”

“you waited in the rain..?” he stammered slightly.

“i shouldn’t have to be the one that makes up with you.” you whisper, “but why do i want to?”

“y/n..” your name falls from his lips like honey.

he scoots himself closer to you until your shoulders are barely touching, his sudden appearance making you flinch. you were still tense next to him as he started to speak.

“i’m so sorry for being so mean to you. for ignoring you, pretending like nothing happened between us when everything happened.” he apologized, “you don’t have anything to apologize for. my mind was so crowded that night. i wasn’t sure if i was ready to love someone like you.”

“then why didn’t you tell me anything, kyungmin? you hurt me.” you began to tear up.

“i didn't know how.. can you tell i’ve never done this before? confronting my feelings while trying to convince myself that you wouldn't break things off with me if i wasn't ready. but listening to my head didn't get us anywhere either.” he confessed, “i was really intimidated when you came up to me the day after, and i wasn’t sure what to do. so i did nothing. it’s a terrible excuse, really.

“you fucked up. i absolutely hated you for standing me up like that..”

“you had every right to hate me. so i don’t know why i thought it was a good idea to hate you back. now that i’m looking back, it was immature. i missed so much time with you because i didn’t have a taste of what it was like for someone like you to love me back.”

“kyungmin, i don’t know what to say i–”

“let me fix this, please?” he moves your head by your chin, turning you to face him directly.

“you can try..” you murmured, watching his stare fixate from your eyes to your lips.

closing the gap, he enveloped you in a kiss that almost felt criminal considering every feeling you’ve had for him in the past three months has been hate. but he was trying. you’d never forget the pain he caused you, but part of you could forgive him.

it was soft, and he held you oh so gently against his lips. his hand trailed around your waist, pulling you closer into him. could this be the beginning of something different between you and him? as he pulled away, he couldn’t help but show a sad smile on his face.

“y/n, can i take you out on a proper date this time..?”

“i’ll see if minho lets me first after all the shit i talked to him about you.” you laugh, looking at his pretty pink tinted face.

“okay, that makes sense, i kind of deserved it. if it makes you feel any better, i’ll pick you up so you don’t have to worry!” he suggests.

“what if i stand you up by not being at my house, hm?”

“then i’ll wait on your porch in the rain for you until you show up.”

There is two things I hate about life,

- Every single human that falls into the category of 'bad' and 'mean'

and..

- Summer School.

What is the point of summer break when you'll spend it on summer school anyways?? That's the question I ask every single day of the summer.

Fortunately for me, there's always something or perhaps someone that makes my day 100 times better. Lee Kyungmin.

Well, there she was once again. Her hand supporting her head as she marveled at the joyous man. It was break time and she caught herself staring at the one and only Kyungmin, I mean how could she not? The way his light auburn hair match perfectly with his bright complexion, his radiant smile giving the perfect touch to his glowing face.

His visual is breathtaking, quite literally.

"hey! breathe!" your desk mate nudges you from the side.

Wakened up from your trench of thoughts, you slowly breath in deeply before replying back to her, "yeah, yeah thanks" you leaned back to your chair trying to pay your attention to something else.

"wah.. you like him don't you? honestly so sad to see you looking at him every week, you really are a hopeless romantic.." your desk mate shook her head in pity.

"tch. stop making fun of me, im trying okay?" you crossed your arms, giving her a side eye.

The girl scoffed back, mirroring your moves. "trying?? who are you kidding? why don't you actually start to do something."

You let out an exasperated sigh uncrossing your arms "im already doing something, you just don't know.."

"I'll have to do something, see you next period." you discretely pull something out of your backpack, slowly making your way towards the hallways.

With the letter in hand you walk fastly towards the locker, turning your head left and right making sure no one is around to see you execute your little plan.

You heaved a sigh slipping the letter through the creaks of the locker before heading back to class, your heartbeat increasing rapidly.

Since the start of summer school you've been leaving these little cute letters to your crush, Kyungmin. Obviously you can easily leave those letter in a normal school day but Kyungmin is your senior, it would be almost impossible to go to the senior's floor without being spotted so technically summer school is somewhat a blessing to you.

It's the last day of summer school, so it's your last chance to finally talk to him but ofcourse being the coward you are you obviously have to skip the chance and just write the usual little cute letter.

Walking through the hallways, you nervously fidgeted the straps of your backpack. The gates in sight, you sigh exiting the school grounds and walking towards the bus stop. You sit down increasing the volume of your headphones, slowly closing your eyes.

"hi! my name's Kyungmin!" a familiar voice chirped on your ears.

You're currently fighting your inner demons, debating whether you should open your eyes and realize that those words that played inside your head was fake, or close your eyes and pretend you heard nothing to proceed embarrassing yourself to the realization that it was actually Kyungmin.

Finally making the choice, you slowly opened your eyes. Your jaw slightly dropped, stuck in your spot stunned at the beautiful view. 'Is it really him or is it my head playing with me??'

A masculine chuckle was heard, Kyungmin leaned closer and lightly touch your chin, "Wouldn't want a fly to enter right?"

"huh? oh.. oh yeah.." you mentally face-palmed, avoiding his gaze.

"you know, you're cute."

"huh? oh yeah you too.."

"what?!" hurriedly looking back, you meet his sweet gaze. a smug look plastered on his face.

"hmm what was that? you think I'm cute? so are you the little cute letter girl?" Kyungmin teases, the smirk on his face getting even more visible by the minute.

"wha.. what? i don't even know you" you mumbled nervously, looking anywhere but his eyes.

Through your peripheral you could see a small pout forming on his face before he take the seat right beside you.

"but.. i saw you putting the little cute letter on my locker?" he asks, his feet instinctively kicking the rocks around.

"i guess i wasn't being super discreet about it huh?" you breathed out.

Kyungmin eyes sparkled, looking back at you. "i guess you could say it like that.." his giggles was heard before you nudge him in the sides feeling annoyed.

"okay! I'll stop." still wearing his smug smile, Kyungmin tone down his giggles locking his eyes with your eyes. your rosy cheeks available for him to see.

"so" Kyungmin started.

"how about saturday night?"

You tilted your head in confusion "what?"

THE ERAS SERIES

the early-morning sun beamed through your kitchen window, casting a warm glow on everything in its path. a messy pattern of light and dark covered the room, shifting ever so slightly as the sun rose. specks of dust played a game of hide and seek as they peeked in and out of the shadows, dancing through the illumination.

the pad of your finger languidly circled the rim of your mug, the light circling with it. the coffee inside it was untouched, filled up nearly to the brim as it’d been when you first poured it. as it sat, the steam rising onto your skin gradually thinned, but it condensed on your hand all the same.

the droplets puddling on your palm dripped back down into the coffee, letting the cycle repeat. again, the steam rose, then condensed, then fell; until one small droplet went astray, slipping down the side of the mug.

your eyes followed the falling bead, watching as it ran its path. it lost its size as it went, water being left in its tracks. it trailed down until it inevitably couldn’t anymore, losing its fuel. it stopped on top of a tiny print of a daisy; one of the many patterned on the mug.

kyungmin had gifted the mug to you long ago, claiming the flowers reminded him of you. you couldn’t remember when it was, nor could you remember what it was for. if it’d been for an anniversary, a holiday, or a surprise gift was a mystery to you, but you appreciated the sentiment regardless.

you always valued his thoughtfulness, but you could feel the nook it occupied in your heart grow smaller and smaller over time. now, you could only recognize it as kyungmin just being kyungmin, but you still cherished him all the same, and that was enough.

“good morning,” kyungmin’s voice suddenly filled your ears, snapping you out of your zoned-out daze.

when you looked up, he was stood at your side, a drowsy smile on his face. he was positioned in front of the sun, and the light framed his figure perfectly. it provided a visual of the invisible glow he always radiated, even at his lowest.

“morning,” you greeted, the corners of your mouth curving up slightly. you dropped your hand off the mug and onto the table, and kyungmin shifted his gaze to look.

“are you alright, y/n?” kyungmin’s expression changed, eyebrows furrowing and lips lightly pressing together. “you haven’t touched your coffee.”

to no surprise, he didn’t fail to pick up on anything off with your behavior. how easy it was for him to see right through you was admirable, but sometimes, it felt suffocating.

“yeah, i’m fine,” you emptily assured. you weren’t sure of how you really felt anymore; your days began to blur, and they felt all too fast and all too slow at the same time. “just sleepy.”

“well, the coffee should fix that,” kyungmin teased, his smile growing again. he always looked at you like you were bigger than the whole sky, and you hoped you still looked at him the same way. “i’ll make you something to eat with that, okay?”

your tired eyes wandered off of kyungmin, spotting something far behind him. on the counter was a small, potted plant, and next to it was a pebble; tiny as a firefly. almost forgotten, you vaguely remembered it as a souvenir kyungmin picked up on your last trip together; you wondered if it ever missed its home sometimes.

“y/n?” kyungmin called out, causing your gaze to fix on him again. “did you hear me?”

naturally, you shook your head. “sorry, kyung. what’d you say?”

“i’ll make you something to eat with your coffee,” kyungmin repeated, his voice as kind as ever. his patience rarely ran thin with you, and you never knew how. “okay?”

you nodded your head, taking in a deep, unsteady breath. “thank you.”

as kyungmin looked at you, he almost looked hurt. his wide smile turned into a slight frown, and his eyes held more sorrow than drowsiness. you knew he was just worried, but something in you felt guilty.

“are you sure you’re alright?” kyungmin questioned again, gently placing his hand on your shoulder. his thumb rubbed the surface of your shirt, and you released a held breath at the feeling. “you know you can talk to me.”

“i’m sure,” you weakly reassured, putting on a smile. you covered his hand with yours, rubbing your thumb over his skin in the same way he did.

“okay,” kyungmin spoke softly, letting a smile play on his lips again. he leaned down to your level, placing a kiss on your temple.

you almost couldn’t feel anything when his lips touched your skin. all that there was was the feeling of a slight graze, and the pebble-sized flutter that fizzed inside of your stomach. your fingers had just barely curled up, and your shoulders had just barely slumped over.

“i’ll make you something now,” kyungmin repeated, the happiness in his voice restoring. your hand idly slipped off of his as he lifted it off of your shoulder, turning away from you to wander to the fridge.

when he opened the door, he slightly leaned back to give himself space. you felt yourself sink further into your seat, letting yourself smile faintly as you watched him look through each shelf and compartment.

he was still as fresh as a daisy, but you knew that his love had withered. his love no longer meant to you what it’d meant before, and every display of it drained every butterfly in your stomach one by one. you knew that his adoration for you grew stronger every day, but you could only feel your fondness of it shrink.

a little part inside of you said that the end of your life with kyungmin was coming, but you could never see yourself believing that. you knew that you’d always find yourself running home to his sweet nothings, even if they did nothing for you anymore. you’d take all of the internal pushing and shoving just for him.

you listened to his quiet humming mix with the sounds of the kitchen. the closing of cabinets, the clanking of plates, and the shuffling of his feet all came together to frame his voice, creating a messy melody. all of it sounded horribly wrong, but kyungmin made it right; he always did.

you didn’t know when or why you went wrong. one day, a switch just flipped, and everything flipped with it. the only thing that stayed the same was what kyungmin himself was to you; he was still your light at the end of the tunnel, even if he himself was the tunnel.

“voila! i made pancakes,” kyungmin excitedly walked over to you, plates in his hands. he gently set a plate in front of you, and the scent immediately overtook your senses.

“they smell good,” you stated, pulling your mug and plate closer as you watched kyungmin sit down across from you.

once he sat, he tilted his head at you with his dimples on full display. he was radiant; nearly more blinding than the risen sun. it only beamed on a small portion of his body, but he still gave himself his own glow. even at your worst, there wasn’t nearly enough of your own darkness to shield you from him.

his expression gradually fell, but everything he held in his eyes was worth more than the warmth of a thousand suns. he had more than enough love inside of him for the both of you combined, yet you didn’t have nearly enough.

“i love you,” kyungmin professed, his voice overflowing with the emotion. there was never a time where it felt like he didn’t mean it.

you hesitated before speaking, blinking away from kyungmin. “i love you, too.”

you didn’t mean it in the same way you should’ve. it sounded frighteningly empty, and you knew that there was a lost piece of your love that you’d never get back. it’d ran its course, and slowly depleted as it went; inevitably becoming a puddle of nothing.

“this tastes really good,” kyungmin mumbled.

you knew that you should be doing more. you knew that he deserved galaxies more than the truth that you hid from him, but you couldn’t let him go; you were selfish. never in a million years could you ever imagine letting him go, even if both you and him needed nothing more than just that.

“are you gonna eat?” kyungmin questioned.

only to him could you admit that you were too soft for everything that you were feeling, but you couldn’t. breaking both his heart and your own was something you couldn’t handle, and just the thought of losing him crushed you. the weight of it all was too heavy, and it was much too big; bigger than the whole sky.

“y/n?” kyungmin called.

you flinched, immediately bringing your attention back to him. “god, i’m sorry, kyungmin.”

he could only give you a sympathetic smile, picking up another piece of the pancake with his fork. “it’s really good, so you should try it. maybe you can dip it in your coffee.”

your ears barely picked up kyungmin’s giggle as you lowered your gaze down to your drink, sitting as still as it was. every unconsumed drop of caffeine was right where you’d left it, lowering in temperature as the minutes passed. there wasn’t any steam rising out of the liquid anymore, and when you went to feel the mug, all of its heat was lost.

you shifted your eyes back up to kyungmin, and you found that all of the warmth was held by him instead. even with all of the waves of heat he radiated, they didn’t quite reach you. you still felt cold; as cold as your coffee.

you would never be the same again, and you knew that. you’d never love kyungmin as purely as you did before, and you’d never forget that. it’d always be engraved in the back of your mind; taunting you with your buried thoughts. all that he ever wanted from you was sweet nothing, but you your truth was far from it.

even at his purest, you still couldn’t feel for him in the way he felt for you. masked behind the love in his eyes was nothing; everything he felt for you was wholly surfaced. there wasn’t anything he had to hide, and his angelic smile was there to prove it. he could never be anything short of sweet, yet still, all you could give him was nothing.

Would be determined. Knows what he wants and knows how to get it

But he'd also be a gentleman, his lips approaching yours slowly a day giving you a chance to pull away if it's not what you want

Right before his lips touch yours he'd whisper “Can I?” and if you nod or say yes, his lips would be pressed to yours so fast

Definitely a good kisser. Seems like he'd have experience. The way his lips move gently against yours, not too aggressive but with a slight neediness to them, would just drive you insane and have you gripping his shirt

He wouldn't do it for too long, wanting to take things slow and make sure he doesn't overwhelm you. Would just smile and rub his thumbs against your red cheeks once you two pull away

Definitely a little shy. Probably trembling slightly and maybe stuttering a little as he approaches your face and asks for permission to keep going

One he gets that permission, his kiss would start slow, his hands sliding up to hold each side of your face as he melts against your lips

You'd just tease him back, saying that he's the one that couldn't hold back from kissing you and he's the one with a face redder than a chilli pepper. Your jokes would just leave both of you giggling again and your lips would find each other again not very long after

It'd be quick but leave your lips tingling, staring up at him with stars in your eyes as he blushes a bit from the dramatic display

You'd sit back down and eat dessert but it's like the whole atmosphere between you would've changed. Suddenly you're both hyper, loud, chatty, and just so comfy and happy together

It'd definitely be while you two are on a romantic walk or something, strolling alone together through the cool evening breeze, his hand eventually creeping into yours and intertwining your fingers

He'd suddenly stop and turn to you, grabbing your other hand and pulling you against his chest. He'd slowly look down at your lips, making sure you noticed and you'd be quick to close your eyes, picking up the hint

He wouldn't waste any time placing the most perfect, soft, romantic kiss to your lips, being respectful about taking things slow but his lips still moving against yours in a way that showed you he was needy

He wouldn't go too far being out in public, but once you get back to the dorm he'd be kissing you again in more of a way he wanted to, whispering to you how he's loved you for so long, his hands on your waist

The only reason he'd stop is because another member would catch you two, making you embarrassed and making haemin secretly annoyed

He seems quite handsome and smooth on the outside, but one the inside he'd be so shy and nervous, almost forcing you to make a move because he simply wouldn't

His hands would be shaky but he'd be trying to play off his nervousness with charming words in his deep voice, the shake in his voice and red tint on his face giving away his true feelings

His breathing would get heavy as you lean closer, starting to close your eyes. He's so nervous because it's actually his first kiss, despite him seemingly like he'd be popular with the ladies

It'd be so perfectly clumsy, his lips slightly off centre to yours as his hands pat your arms, making you blush even harder

When he pulls away, he wouldn't be able to say anything at all, just stare, dazed. His brain would be in overdrive, trying to calm himself down while also screaming on the inside. When he finally snaps out of it, he'd bring your hand up to his lips, staring into your eyes as he kisses your knuckles and confesses

Wouldn't even do it on purpose. You'd just be talking to him and he'd tease you and you'd pout. He'd think you're so cute, he'd just grab your face and start planting kissed all over it, his finally kiss landing on your lips and causing you to squeak in shock

The sun start to rise, welcoming itself to your room passing the curtain. You woke up from it and the first thing you see was Shinyu’s chest where he still holds you. You look up to be welcome by his sleeping face and you grin, admiring it. You slowly pulled yourself up to be face with his neck in which you gladly gave a kiss. His adam’s apple started to move and he woke up. “Good morning!” You sweetly said, giving him another kiss on the neck dangerously close to his adam’s apple. “Darling.” He look down at you and smirk. “If you continue that, we’ll have to do round 2.” You blushed but continued to kiss. He chuckles bring the blanket over you and doing exactly what he said.

SHIN JUNGHWAN ﾐ 신정환

Junghwan would still be in leader mode after a long day. As soon as he gets home he’s already asking you if you’ve eaten or need anything, and you’d have to tell him to slow down and rest. After waking up at the crack of dawn, performing all day, and having to keep track of all the members, he’s so exhausted. He forgets that home is the place where he can just relax. You’d help him unwind, making sure he takes a nice bath and eats a good dinner before cuddling up in bed. He feels so relieved that he has you to rely on, because for the entire day, everyone else was relying on him. 

KIM DOHOON ﾐ 김도훈

You could tell Dohoon was extremely tired the second he walked through the door. He falls completely on top of you. He doesn’t want to talk about it, all he wants is to fall asleep in your arms. You help him relax and massage his muscles if he’s feeling really sore. Once you make sure that nothing really bad had happened (he just missed you a lot and was super tired during his schedules), you’re happy to call in for the night early. Making sure that all your attention is on Dohoon until he falls asleep, even if you aren’t tired enough to sleep just yet. Him getting rest is what is most important to you.

CHOI YOUNGJAE ﾐ 최영재

Youngjae is usually so calm and gentle, but after a long day testing his patience for hours, he’s already past his limit once he gets home. He knows that if he tries to talk to you, he’d most likely say something he didn’t mean. So instead of letting you help him with food or a bath, he goes to shower by himself, leaving you in the bedroom to wait for him. He takes an extra 20 minutes in the shower just unwinding after the exhausting day. He feels so much better once he’s out of the shower, having cleared his head and worked the knots out of his body. He’ll want to get his fill of kisses before he falls asleep, relaxing further to your comforting scent. 

HAN ZHEN ﾐ 韩振

Hanjin is so relieved to be home after a taxing day, he’d most likely cry as soon as he’s back in your arms :( He definitely needs sleep, but more than that he wants to get as many hugs and kisses as he can. He refuses to sleep until you’ve completed your usual nighttime routine, involving skincare, matching pyjamas, and cuddling while watching a drama episode. He definitely starts dozing halfway through the episode because he’s so tired </3 But you would make sure he’s comfortable wrapped in your arms, not minding that you’d have to rewatch the episode again another day. Him getting rest is what is most important, and it warms your heart that he only wants to do it in your arms. 

HAN JIHOON ﾐ 한지훈

Jihoon crashes like no one else the minute he steps inside. He’s always trying to keep his energy up for everyone else the entire day that once he gets home it’s like his battery fully died. His eyes were already threatening to close as he took off his shoes, and you would have to keep him awake enough to eat and shower before he falls asleep. If he falls asleep on the couch before making it up to bed, good luck dragging him up there because he’s not waking up. You’d have to get him an extra blanket and make sure he’s warm and comfortable so that he doesn’t wake up in pain.

LEE KYUNGMIN ﾐ 이경민

Kyungmin always works so hard during the day that by the end of it, his brain has logged out. I think his tiredness would make him easily distractible, so while he’s eating he would zone out at one spot or forget to blink. You would be asking him questions, like if he wants you to run him a bath or if he needs anything else, but his brain wouldn’t even be able to process it. He’s sheepishly telling you that he’s fine, but you can tell he needs sleep so bad. He feels bad for how disoriented he is, but you assure him that you don’t mind and him getting sleep as soon as possible is most important.

you we’re pretty upset when you got home even though you tried to smile through your sadness shinyu knew something was wrong, he greeted you at the door “y/n are you okay? what’s wrong?” he asked reaching pulling you into a hug. he planted kiss on into your hair as he waited your response, “y/n?” you wrapped your arms around him tightly “i failed my exam, my parents are going to be so upset…” he hears the crack in your voice “aw y/n… it’s okay! it’ll be alright! it’s just one test yea? it’s not the end of the world just yet, i’m sure you parents will understand.” you nodded against his chest, seeing you all upset makes him upset he doesn’t like seeing you like this, nor do you like being like this. “how about we study together? i may not be in school but i know a thing or two.” you both laugh, “not now i just want to take a shower and rest.” and your shower you both cuddled up in bed relaxing your head on his chest your arms wrapped around his waist and his hand stroking your head.

“let’s not stress about the exam tonight, okay? i know you did your best and you know you did your best. so let’s just keep doing our best. i love you y/n.” he planted kiss on your forehead and you let out a satisfied hum.

while at work today you spilled coffee all over yourself, then the coffee machine broke for about 2 hours and on top of that you were stressing about not having enough time to study when you got home. once at home you heavily sigh and take your shoes off at the door you hear dohoon slightly shouting at his game and you sighed again only wanting to shower, get in the bed and forget about today. you look over at the kitchen and realized dohoon cleaned up the dishes and took out the trash, you make your way into the room where dohoon was playing the game “hey love.” you said kissing his forehead relaxing your head on the back of his chair. “hi babe, how was work?” he asked pausing his game to look at you, “it was okay… the coffee machine broke AND coffee spilled on me.” you say while yawning, he looked at your clothes with had stains off coffee on them. he stood up out the chair and gently grabbed your hand leading you to the bathroom, you stood in the door way and watched as he started to run you a bath.

you had the day off work and you were out of school due to the break, you and youngjae both were laying around your dorm not really in the mood to do anything but enjoy each others company. yesterday you had the most HORRIBLE day ever. your professor called you out infront of the whole class all because you weren’t “paying attention” which you weren’t you were half sleep listening to him, and when he woke you up the first time you started talking to your friend. which then the professor called you out again on the spot and asked you a question about the lecture which you answered confidently but you were wrong… but at least it was the day before the break so you didn’t have to face the embarrassment AGAIN. when you came back into your dorm lastnight youngjae was there but you didn’t bother acknowledging him cause you were still feeling embarrassed. but when you woke up youngjae asked him and you told him and that same morning he went out bought you breakfast, flowers, you favorite candies etc. and now you both were just enjoying eachothers company. even though the situation happened yesterday he still wanted you to divert your attention to something else.

“did you like the breakfast? i would’ve made something but your dorm doesn’t have a kitchen, i also want to go for a walk around campus later let’s walk together.”

you and your parents had a mild argument over your attendance in school which you would go but you were always tardy to a class and you’d use the same excuse every time “i was in the bathroom” at first the tears bought it but after awhile they started to be suspicious, most of the time you being in the bathroom was true but other times you’d just walk super slow to your class dreading being in attendance for the lecture. after the argument you were pretty upset and went to your room, you called hanjin and told him what happened just now. he said he would come but you didn’t think that would be a good idea concerning what happened just now, he agreed. you two played minecraft together, fortnite, overwatch, roblox and others. you both even finished that kdrama you started together, on top of that he stayed on the phone with you while you got ready for bed.

“do you want me to hang up now and let you get some rest?” he smiled at you through the camera seeing you shake your head sleepily.

you and him were out window shopping at an outlet for a few hours now, you were sitting at a table since your sandal strap broke as you two walked. jihoon was getting you both corndogs and you were attempting to fix your ripped sandal even though you knew it couldn’t be fixed and you had nothing to fix it with, jihoon joined you at the table placing your corndog in front of you placing a kiss on your forehead and taking the sandal from your hands “eat this, i’ll take care of this.” you picked up the and bit into his, jihoon sat across from you opening a mustard packet and some of it squirts on you. his immediately jumps up and runs and grab napkins, you sigh first your shoe, then your nail broke now you have mustard over you… can the day get any worse?? jihoon comes back and hands you the napkins “y/n i’m sorry, i didn’t expect it to do that.” he said in a worried tone, “it’s fine, truly i’m not mad.” you smile at him and his face softens, you weren’t upset at him it’s just so much is happening. you go to bite your corndog and some kid bumps into you causing you to drop it, “oh my…” you said under your breath looking at your corndog on the ground. the kid apologized multiple times and you smiled at him “it’s fine.” jihoon let’s out a sigh running his fingers through his hair, “i think we should head home.” he said and you nod agreeing.

“when we get home i’ll give you the best massage of your life and we can cuddle and watch minecraft builds,” you go to speak but he cuts you off “yes the cherry blossom house builds.” he said while laughing and you smile.

kyungmin was cuddled up next to you as you ran your fingers through his hair, you both were on the couch watching movies. his mom made dinner earlier which you enjoyed but being on your cycle you couldn’t really enjoy it, but after dinner you both settled into the living room. you stomach started cramping causing you to squirm trying to ease the pain, “hey, sorry if i constantly move around. i don’t want you to be uncomfortable.” you said rubbing your stomach, he sat up and laid your head on his shoulder. he noticed your rubbing your stomach “y/n are you okay?” he asked and you nodded against his shoulder, he knew you weren’t telling the truth but he didn’t wanna press you about it. “i’ll be right back.” he got up from the couch walking out of the living room, few minutes later he returns with a heated blanket and a stash of almonds he keeps around since you love them. he pulls the blanket over both of you and feeds you the almonds.

“do you want me to call your mom to come get you? i don’t think my parents would mind if you stayed the night” he said placing a kiss on your cheek and rubbing your shoulder.

"hey hyung i- oh my god!" yungyu exclaimed, covering his eyes. myungho immediately removed himself from you. "yungyu! what are you doing here?!" myungho asked in surprise, and slight annoyance. still covering his eyes, yungyu replied, "you forgot this," as he threw his sweatshirt at him before exiting as quick as he could. you laughed, "you ruined the child's innocence!" "so what if they do?" you smirked, quickly grabbing the collar of his sweatshirt, smashing your lips into his. reluctant at first, he gave in. but all came crashing down when they heard the voice of kyungmin. "hey haemin hyung, you want something to eat or - eww - never mind!"

KYUNGMIN: "kyungminnie?" you asked, holding his hand as you strolled through the park. "yeah?" he tilted his head at you. "what do you think about public sex?" his face flushed, "oh umm, it's... cool i guess," he shrugged. "can we try it?" you asked, looking like an innocent child when you were anything but that. "baby it's fourty-five degrees out here!" he reasoned. "but i need help," you tugged on his shirt. being a very loyal and eager-to-please boyfriend, he gave in. after getting to a more secluded place in the park, he had you pinned against a tree with his lips on yours. YUNGYU: yungyu was a nervous kisser no doubt. especially when you initiated them. so when you asked him for one while you all were hanging out with the others, he flushed. "right now jagi?" he raised an eyebrow. "yes! you haven't kissed me since last night!" you reasoned. "wow that must be like an eternity for you," he laughed. "whatever you like to tell yourself," you shrugged. looking around to make sure the others weren't looking, you kissed him slowly. yungyu didn't push you away, but instead held your face gently as he tasted your cherry lip balm. "yungyu and y/n, sitting in a tree~" began jaeyun. "stop it!" yelled yungyu, rolling his eyes before kissing you again.

SEUNGHEON: you had absolutely no idea, why your boyfriend has been so clingy. there was no logical explanation you could come up with. but you weren't going to complain. you liked how he'd peck your lips every time he walked by you. and one time, he lingered a bit longer. "seungheon," you laughed against his lips, arms around his neck. my brain turns to mush (/pos) whenever i think about jaeyun but i will do my best to not explode 💔

jaeyun absolutely adores just simply existing in the same space as you - often times you two stay in the same room without exchanging a single word because your work loads are too occupying.

jaeyun loves to be around you in those times, but he loves even more when there's no distractions. no work or group chats blowing up or emails to check off. simply just you and him in the seclusion of his room (after he's kicked minho out, of course).

you'd spend most of your time together watching films or shows, taking time out of your schedule to watch when either of you were able to visit the other.

more often than not, you'd end up falling asleep next to him (its okay, he fell asleep too).

half of his body would be thrown over yours once you woke up, his temple pressed to your chest as your fingers instinctively began to run through his hair. jaeyun lived for moments like these with you.

plus, you both falling sleep mid-way through the film only gave a better excuse for you to visit again - its a win-win for everyone! (except minho, who just wants to be in his room).

he'd like to be inside with you whenever possible - for both reasons of his job and for his own preference.

with how often myungho can be seen being physically affectionate with his members, it's hard to believe he wouldn't be that way with his s/o!

if anything, he'd be even more affectionate towards you. whether its an arm around your neck, hand holding yours, or his chin on your shoulder when he hugs you from behind, he absolutely loves connecting with you in such a way.

one of his favorite ways to show his love is by playing with your hands. its such a simple act that can be done mindlessly, but to myungho, there's more thought in such an action.

he loves to intertwine your fingers with his just to undo them, taking one of your hands in both of his and tracing over your knuckles and nails, the tip of his index finger following the lines in your palm before closing your hand between his.

when you hold hands, he prefers to have his thumb on the outside of yours so he can swipe over your skin smoothly. if you were to copy that action on him, he'd be the happiest man ever.

on days where its a bit more taxing for you both or you are unable to see each other for a long period of time or maybe your schedules just don't line up, he'd do his best to make sure you know he's thinking of you.

things like: if you say you're hungry, he'll immediately open a delivery app and order your favorite take out for you, the full meal at your doorstep within the hour (he'd pay an extra fee if it meant it got to you quicker).

of course, you'd do the same for him when given the opportunity, and it makes him happy knowing you'd go the same lengths to help him that he would for you :]

he's always so smiley :( you could be doing the most mundane things and he'd just stare lovingly at you. even once you've caught him, he doesn't say anything.

you're so mesmerizing to him without even realizing it. even if its just him scrolling on his phone across from you while you study, he loves every second of it. he loves being able to look up past his screen and see you so concentrated, not knowing he's even admiring you.

minho knows you'd likely turn your face away bashfully if you knew he was staring, so the fact he only had to move his eyes in this position is definitely a bonus.

even if you caught him staring, his eyes would be so full of love that you couldn't even be mad at him.

something he was a bit more shy to do was express his admiration to you verbally. . . but that's not the case when it comes to text messages or notes!!

you'd rarely have a morning without a message from him encouraging you for the day. messages during your time away were somewhat common as well (if he was able to find in between his own schedule to send them).

minho would never miss a chance to wish you a goodnight, telling you how proud he is of you for pushing through the day!

when he gets the chance to visit you, he'd leave notes for you on your desk or in your bag. under your pillow or stuck on your fridge or counter.

minho's secret time! he's unsure if you've ever found it, but he put all of his feelings onto a sticky-note (well, all the feelings that could fit on there) and put it in your phone case. if you ever did find it, you never brought it up.

minho felt what he said was a bit cheesy - too lovey-dovey, but its how he felt about you, so he doesn't regret it all too much. if his members ever knew what he wrote, he'd never hear the end of it.

if you've read any of my other headcannons with yoonsung, you'd know the yoonsung-matching-with-s/o conversation is one i speak on a lot!!

yoonsung thinks every moment he shares with you is precious - he likes to make memories with you even through the most mundane of tasks.

if you're cleaning together, he'd be sure to have music playing and sing throughout the entire ordeal (the mini concert you get is a reward for all of your work).

he'd also love to try new recipes with you! finding whatever either of you had lying around/left over and trying to make something delicious . . . it works out about half the time - but you both have fun nonetheless!

yoonsung (i've said it twice but here's a third time) loves the idea of making bracelets with his s/o :( he finds the elastic string with colorful beads the most fun - you get to make them for each other so you'll always have a piece of one another with you :")

he's usually slower than you too 😭 wanting to make sure everything is aligned nicely and that it isn't too loose or too tight on your wrist.

if you express you're not too fond of jewelry, he knows how to work with that, too. whether that's buy buying matching shirts or a pair of shoe laces or simply giving you a few of his favorite sweaters, he'll find a way for you to have part of him with you wherever you go.

he loves spending time with you and it doesn't matter too much to him what you do together. if you wanna go see a movie or have a meal outside, he's down! or if you want to take a rest day with your boyfriend and stay indoors, he is more than happy to oblige.

if you're into keeping up with shows, he's gonna be there to watch them with you whether you're together or miles away! it's always nicer to have someone to talk about them with and its even better when they show the same amount of interest and enthusiasm as you do.

thinks little displays of affection can be just as powerful as the bigger ones, and with both of your busy schedules, he does whatever he can to make sure you know how much he appreciates you :]

unlike myungho, haemin is much more reserved with his physical affection. he's not a huge fan of pda and typically gets shy when he tries to initiate it.

but his lack of initiation does not mean he doesn't enjoy it! he prefers to keep that kind of affection in the privacy of the dorm (and its not like he can show it outside of the dorm at this point in his career anyways).

but on the rare occasions you're both able to meet outside the dorm - hoods pulled over your heads and masks on your face - he becomes a bit more bold.

reaching for your hand across the table at whatever shop you decided to meet at and interlocking your fingers. joining your arms together as you walk down the sidewalk, enjoying the day together. he lives for the quieter displays of affection.

not because he isn't proud to be with you - he feels the happiest he's ever felt at this point in his life. but he understand with his occupation it gets a bit tough, and the last thing he wants is to jeopardize your safety. so for now, you'll remain behind the scenes for just a little while longer.

spending time together is a difficult task to plan, but you make do with the time you do get and spend it in the best way you can.

because of haemin's reserved nature, he enjoys being indoors with you a lot. catching up on shows or watching a movie is simple but one of his favorites - it allows him to relax and escape from his hectic schedule for a while, and that all becomes even better when he gets to do that with you!

maybe you have to study for an exam or tackle some project for work, even if he has absolutely no idea how to help you, he'll be by your side (or in the next room if you request for him to) making sure you don't push yourself too much and that you take a break once you need it.

kyungmin, similar to haemin, enjoys displaying his love for his s/o in more subtle ways. placing his hand on the corner of the table if you dropped something, putting the straw to your drink in first before his own, or making sure you have enough charge on your phone before you go anywhere are just to name a few things.

he never wastes an opportunity to tell you how much he appreciates you as his s/o.

kyungmin strikes me as the type to Not Care about about his idol image when it comes to being in a relationship LOL

if one day you're out and someone recognizes him, he'd do his best to make sure your face is covered from whatever cameras might have sprung up.

at the very least, he wants to make sure you're safe. pulling your jacket collar over your face, taking off his hat and putting it on you, rushing to use a mask or simply pulling you to his chest and making you walk backwards . . . he's ready to go to whatever lengths to protect your identity.

his career would never stop him from bringing you around - he's not too fond of the idea of keeping everything private all the time, but that's not to say he isn't cautious when and where he needs to be.

for the times when your schedules just don't line up the best, he will never go a night without talking with you.

whether that's accidentally falling asleep on call with one another, a simple goodnight text to let you know he's drifting off while thinking of you, or something in between, he makes sure you know you're on his mind.

most days he wakes up earlier than you, so that means almost every morning without fail, you'll wake up to messages from kyungmin.

anything ranging from what he's eating for breakfast to how much he misses you to what his schedule is for the day. . . if he doesn't talk to you he feels this unwavering weight on his shoulders from guilt.

always wishes you a good morning :( sometimes popping in a cheesy "hope you dreamt of me ♡" before he has to shut his phone off for some hours.

he can easily tell when you're stressing out and when a burn-out is creeping up. he's the first to tell you to take a break and regain your energy slowly rather than force work out of you.

while at the time you may feel like you need to cram, you know listening to his advice will always prove to be more fruitful. which results in many praises. "i love you, and i love how ambitious you are, but taking care of yourself comes first, okay?"
