Fearless Colors, da autoria do francês Samplerman é a novidade editorial da MMMNNNRRRG para o último fim de semana do Amadora BD 2017.

Coeditada com a letã kuš! e a espanhola Ediciones Valientes, esta obras reúne um conjunto importante das não-histórias surrealistas que Samplerman (aka o autor francês de banda desenhada Yvang) tem vindo a publicar, enquanto experimenta as técnicas de colagem ad infinitum.

FEARLESS COLORS compila algumas das melhores páginas de BD que Samplerman produziu entre 2012 e 2015. Pode-se dizer que elas fazem homenagem aos “comic-books” norte-americanos dos anos 40 e 50, sendo misturados tal como uma viagem de um DJ a realizar o que Marcos Farrajota intitulou de Comix Remix – artigo escrito originalmente para o jornal finlandês Kuti e entretanto acessível em várias línguas: português no blogue da Chili Com Carne, em francês no livro Metakatz, alemão no sítio Drei Mal Alles e em sueco na revista Sekvenser.

Atravessando géneros clássicos como o romance cor-de-rosa, o policial, a ficção científica e o terror, algumas das páginas tanto se identifica excertos de Fletcher Hanks como o “Samplerman original”: Ray Yoshida. Violência, acção, disparos, naves espaciais, micróbios e bactérias, corpos mutilados são remontados numa colagem fractal que nos possibilitam novas formas de narrativas e leituras.

Por detrás de um super-heróis há sempre o alter ego. Neste caso de Samplerman esconde-se o desenhador francês Yvang. Começou com a experiência Samplerman em 2012 através do tumblr ZDND (La Zone De Non-Droit) juntamente com o irrequieto Leo Quievreux, tendo contaminado a web desde então. Participou em várias publicações como a š! (Letónia), Off Life, Smoke Signal, Ink Brick, Lagon, The Village Voice e Scratches. I am preparing well to play for Hearts of Oak - Ademola Kuti

The former Punjab FC player signed a two-year deal with the Phobians back in May but is yet to feature for the Accra-based club because of the suspension of football in Ghana since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

With the Ghanaian borders yet to be opened due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Kuti remains in Nigeria and has been keeping fit on a training programme prepared for him by Hearts’ technical team.

Speaking to Hearts Media the 22-year-old forward said

“I want football to return to Ghana and I am preparing well to play for Hearts of Oak and help the team win laurels as I seek to repay the trust the club has shown in me,”

“It’s not easy in this Covid-19 pandemic, but I am trying to manage the situation; I have been at home for a while and I can tell you it’s not easy to stay out of football,”

“I can’t wait to come back to start the game, join my new teammates in trying, playing matches and helping the team win on the pitch for the fans to be happy,”

He added that he had been in regular contact with Coach Nii Odoom, who sent him messages to check on him to find out how well he was coping with the situation.

“The Hearts of Oak family are very nice and wonderful people and, I want to return to Ghana as soon as possible to help the team and show off why they have signed me,” he concluded.

Hearts of Oak: New striker express disappointment about lack of facilities

Danjuma Ademola Kuti signed a two-year deal with the Phobians back in May as they beefed up their squad for the upcoming season.

Kuti 22, for Lobi Stars, Punjab, and Fujairah SC in the United Arab Emirates but has been clubless since leaving Indian league outfit Punjab.

He spoke about the club’s much talked about Pobiman project, which is been constructed by local contractors K.A. Estate Limited and expressed his shock about the lack of facilities at the club.

Speaking on local radio station Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM he said

“I have heard of the new project [Pobiman] ongoing, it will help a lot because most times I like using Gym center, I like doing a lot of flexibility training so it’s very important to be more professional just that I was surprised,”

“You know Hearts of Oak is a very big club and I felt there will be a lot of facilities. I know they are very professional but I expected more,” he concluded.

Done Deal: Hearts of Oak complete signing of Nigerian goal poacher Danjuma Kuti

Footballghana.com can report that Hearts of Oak has completed the signing of Nigerian striker Danjuma Ademola Kuti.

The Ghana Premier League had a fairly good start to the 2019/2020 season before it was suspended as a precautionary measure against the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

After playing 14 matches, the team nicknamed the Phobians have drawn most of their matches and sits 9th on the standings of the division.

In that run, one problem that has been observed throughout the team’s matches is the ability of strikers to stay clinical.

In a bid to reinforce that department of the team, Hearts of Oak has secured the services of Danjuma Ademola Kuti.

The striker is joining the Rainbow family as a free agent after parting ways with Indian Super League side Punjab FC a few months ago.

The 21-year-old striker comes with a lot of experience after playing for clubs such as Fujalrah SC and Techno Aryan FC.

He will fight for a place in the starting eleven of Coach Nii Odoom with Kofi Kordzi and Abednego Tetteh.

Hearts of Oak complete signing of Niger international Danjuma Kuti

Hearts of Oak have completed the signing of Nigerian striker Danjuma Ademola Kuti in the on-going transfer window.

Kuti has penned a two-year deal with the Phobians after successful trial and completing the formalities.

He joins the Accra based side on a free transfer, having undergone a two-week trial at the club after his contract with Indian Super League side Punjab FC expired in January.

The 21-year-old has previously played for UAE side Fujalrah SC and Techno Aryan FC in India.

Hearts of Oak have been one of the busiest sides in the transfer window after signing former Bechem United striker Abednego Tetteh, Abdourahamane Mamane Lawali and Emmanuel Osei ahead of the second round of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Football Association has suspended all its competitions with immediate effect until further notice following the directives given by the President of the Republic due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

Hearts of Oak eye move for six players - Reports

Hearts of Oak have set sights on signing six players ahead of the second round of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League, according to Oyerepa FM.

The Phobians want to beef up their squad in bid to end their 11-year trophy drought this season with the acquisition of these players.

Coach Edward Odoom has submitted six players to the club's management ahead of the opening of transfer window next week.

The six-man list include Ademola Kuti and Abdul Rahman from Nigeria and Niger respectively.

Former Hearts of Oak skipper Nuru Sulley, ex-Aduana Stars and Club Africain striker Derrick Sasraku  as well as Joseph Tetteh Zutah.

Ashanti Gold SC midfielder Latif Anabila is also on the radar of the club following his impressive performances for the Miners.

Hearts of Oak are currently 9th on the league table with 18 points after 13 matches played thus far in the Ghana Premier League.
