have you seen the blog @/samplerman? it seems like something you might find neat!!!

I have seen it and I do find it really cool. I haven't yet seen one that's really stuck out to me enough to reblog as a single work, though. And even then, I wish it had some details on the original art sources used for the collages—half for fair citation reasons, half because I'm just nosy like that.

(I think it’s 4 underscores.) I like all the multiples and extra areas of space to create more narratives that don’t make any sense on the picture plane that are usually for linear dialogue or action . Anyway, just pretty neat.

The New Year is approaching and we are living the same suffering of killing, genocide, hunger, diseases and lack of medicine😞💔

First of all, I want to draw your attention to the fact that due to unhealthy canned foods, we are suffering from many health problems, the most important of which is intestinal colic.

My mother, who is a colon cancer patient, suffered from severe intestinal cramps, and we took her to the hospital because of that. We also can't find her medications for cancer, joint pain and gland.

Isn't it enough for a woman in her sixties to suffer???????

Please help me treat my mother and don't forget her in your prayers. I fully believe that no one should die because their illness is not treated before it's too late, my mother should also receive her treatment as soon as possible. 🙏🫶💞🥹

Also today after my paralyzed brother went to the doctor and told him that his condition is getting worse and there are no medications, this made me give up and I don't know what to do to save my family💔

“I've been obsessed with comics all my life. I would have liked to be a comic strip cartoonist, but that career doesn't exist in France. The conventional formats here are the hardcover, annual 44-page book or the black and white, 300-page one-shot graphic novel. I've always been attracted to arts of all kinds: poetry, radio, cinema, animation, the avant-garde, experimentation and the borders of communication. I’m also drawn to abstraction, distortion, destruction, surrealism, sociology and politics. Most of my past comics are kind of absurd and meaningless (nonsensical, to say it nicely). At the end of the day, whatever I am doing, the path from a panel to another has become for me the ordinary way to explore this alternate reality (comics) where I feel at home. So yes, I think am a cartoonist; a weird cartoonist.”

“I don’t really read the stories, but I love how they look: the cheap paper, the bright primary colours, the screen-tone, the drawings, the conventional representation of landscapes, the simplicity of the lines. I have to make a choice among this mountain of graphic elements. I pick what I like: face, hand, clothes, tree, car, text balloon etc. and start to (digitally) cut them out.“
