Okay, so I am a Gleek as well as a Good Omens fan and I have noticed something I find quite interesting.

S2Ep6 of Glee, Kurt gets his first kiss.

S2Ep6 of Good Omens, Aziraphale and Crowley get their first kiss.

This is just that, Kurt was arguing with Karofsky about how his bullying doesn’t affect him, telling him if he hits him it would take the gay out of him. Then Karofsky kisses him, without consent, surprise. And pulls away, then Kurt fully pushes him away, covering his lips with his fingers and Karofsky walks away. While Kurt was surprised and was touching his lips.

WHILE IN GOOD OMENS!

Crowley and Aziraphale were arguing about how Heaven is toxic, that Aziraphale shouldn’t go. Then Crowley kisses Aziraphale, no consent, fully surprising him. Crowley pulls away, with Aziraphale telling him that he forgives him. Then Crowley walks out and Aziraphale touches his lips, surprised.

BOTH HAPPEN IN SEASON TWO EPISODE SIX OF TWO TOTALLY DIFFERENT SHOWS THAT HAPPENED IN DIFFERENT YEARS!

Kurt Hummel & Quinn Fabray

OTP: I can't say that I have one. I ship Kurt with a variety of men, and none of them named Blaine, but I don't believe that there's a true standout. Though, I do tend to lean toward Kurt/Dave Karofsky. All of the missed and wasted potential there pains me when I think too hard on it. BroTP: Kurt and Mercedes Jones, how I miss you. Kurt and Finn Hudson and Kurt and Sam Evans also have some sweet moments. OT3: Nothing comes to mind. NoTP: Kurt/Blaine Anderson. I wasn't a fan when the show was airing, am currently not a fan nearly a decade after it's ended, and never will be a fan.

Quinn Fabray

OTP: Quinn/Rachel Berry. Was it consistently written? No. But, the chemistry between Dianna Agron and Lea Michele was off the charts from the moment these characters first interacted onscreen, and I've yet to see a heterosexual explanation that truly justifies Quinn's absolutely heartbroken reaction when Rachel nods a tentative affirmative that she was "singing that song just for Finn and only Finn". BroTP: Quinn and Sam, Quinn and Mercedes (yet another good thing that Ryan Murphy and Co. tossed aside and left to rot), Quinn and Artie Abrahams, and, tentatively and primarily in fanfiction where it's handled well, Quinn and Santana Lopez. OT3: I suppose Sam/Quinn/Rachel, maybe? I know that Santana/Quinn/Rachel is another popular one, but my feelings toward romantic Quinn/Santana are very mixed. NoTP: Quinn/Finn, Quinn/Noah Puckerman, and basically Quinn/Any man the show ever tried to pair her with who isn't Sam. (And, even then, I align completely with the headcanon that Quinn is a repressed lesbian.)

An excerpt from the season 2 au I'm currently taking extensive notes for. But this snippet had to be written when it came into my brain.

TW: mention of Karofsky kissing Kurt

“Bro, what is your deal? Are you just gonna look down on me now, like I’m some coward because I didn’t want to do your stupid dance?”

Sam slammed his locker shut. “No,” he said simply, “I’m actually glad you chickened out. Kurt would have never felt safe on that field with you there.”

Karofsky scoffed. “All of the football players bully him, why do you think I’m so much worse?”

Sam rounded on him, his eyes dark. “You know, Kurt’s a good person. A wonderful person, and he thinks its your right to come out on your own time.” Karofsky paled. “And I will continue to honor that opinion, but I want you to know that he told me what you did. And if you ever come near him again, I will personally make you regret it.”

“Why the fuck do you care so much about him?”

Sam laughed, a mischievious glint in his eye. “Because, some of us can have a sexuality crisis caused by Kurt Hummel without sexually assaulting him.”

Also, to add on my last post, a huge problem I have with Glee, is that sexual assault is always just brushed over.

It's also noteable, that it only happens towards male characters? Wether it's Kurt and Karofsky or Kurt and Blaine or Sam and that photographer. They never had any scene like this with the female cast.

And I think this is, because like this they could just move on and pretend it never happened. If they had done this to a girl, they would have to follow it up with a story line about how she overcomes the trauma and the perpertrater getting the deserved punishment.

But harrassment towards guys has always been treated like it can just be brushed over.

I so believed they would follow up Sams storyline in season 6. Because it seemed like he quit modeling, because of what happened with the photographer. But no. Like it never happened.

The car scene would have been a reason for a breakup between Kurt and Blaine.

And while the kiss between Kurt and Karofsky was treated the most serious, it was still brushed over after time. Blaine asking Kurt why he's so upset, was just insensitive.

So yeah, the show has huge problems, but this is one I really dislike the most.
