I assume Kuroko would forget to pack an umbrella, Kaga walks her home when it rains. He's always prepared.

Kuroko and Kaga's dates would be those fancy restaurant dates somehow, but Kuroko prefers simple places, so Kaga takes her out to fancy places occasionally.

Hypothetically say that Kaga goes absent, Kuroko would take a picture of the lesson and send it to him along with a few reminders.

Kaga and Kuroko met in preschool.

Kaga has met Kuroko's parents. (Reiichi and Daisaku would be her fathers, I'm rewriting YDS okay), Daisaku was mostly calm about this while Reiichi was testing Kaga without his daughter's knowledge. Kaga passed.

When Kaga has the time, which he always does, he goes into town to get something for Kuroko.

Kuroko is a heavy sleeper and Kaga doesn't know what sleep is most of the time. (He's high on caffiene)

Kuroko listens to Taylor Swift. (Akane introduced her to Kuroko)

Kaga also listens to Taylor Swift. (Miyuji's doing)

Their theme would absolutely be "Fearless" and "Mine" by Taylor Swift.

So, whenever I do shipping, I've always considered the name of the first character tops and the second bottoms. I know not everyone does this or even cares, but that's how I do it. Truth be told I'm not too big on Kuroko topping, so I did this with the idea of Kuroko being a bottom from the top (if that makes sense) which I guess would still be KagaKuro anyway. ^^;;

Never thought I could feel so much pain again due to anime- but watching the last game movie of Kuroko no basuke was a lot. It was an emotional roller coaster- everything I coulda asked for and more. Except the ending. I didn’t vibe with it. I don’t like the idea of Kagami separating from his Shadow. So guess who is gonna write a fanfiction soon???

I DO NOT SUPPORT YANDERE DEV. - Kuroko would rant how she's so tired of her work in the council while Kaga just sits there and listens to her problems - Kaga loves Sci-fi and Kuroko loves True crime - I'd imagine they'd pair up for projects (Considering they're extremely smart, ofc they'd be petty with that since I like to think that everyone wants to pair with Kaga) - Kaga would learn Kuroko's favorite flowers, songs, colors and everything else. - Kuroko would get her glasses taken by Kaga, suffice to say Kaga would go home with a bruise if he took it without asking

An (hopefully) helpful guide of KnB ships days

• Ships days in KnB refer to the characters' jersey numbers. So some ship get two days when both of their jersey numbers are under 12. For example October 11 (10/11) and Novembre 10 (11/10) are both ships days for Kagami and Kuroko.

• It works for their middle school, highschool and streetball teams. So Kuroko ships days can be 11 and 16.

• You can usually find them with the #[First Kanji of both characters]の日. For example #火黒の日 (for KagaKuro) sometimes the years is added behind like #火黒の日2023.

• The order of the Kanji is important. #火黒の日 (KagaKuro no nichi) is for October 11 while #黒火の日 (KuroKaga no nichi) is for November 10. Because Kuroko's number is 11 and Kagami's is 10 and the date won't work otherwise.

• Some days work for multiple characters (because again, jersey numbers). Example KiseKasa and KiseAka days would both be on July 4 because Akashi and Kasamatsu are both number 4 (same for April 7)

• By that logic even if it's a rare ship (and therefore doesn't have a big enough fanbase to have anyone posting on what should be their day), you can still create the day for them. If your ship is KiseIzuki their days would be July 5 and Mai 7 (yeah this is a really crack ship, i was trying to find one i never saw and it was hard to think of one)

When we’re together on the field/court, I feel them like they’re an extension of my own body. We play and breathe as one, and they know my move before I even make it, moving to support me perfectly. No matter the odds, I trust them to fight with me up until the very end. They make me feel unstoppable, giving me a strength I never knew I could have. They’re so much more than a friend, so much more than family. They’re my teammate. Just being by their side for this brief moment in time isn’t enough-- I wish I could play with them forever.

I want to feel hatred towards them when I play against them, but that’s not right. I mean, look at their body, powerful and sturdy, yet still graceful and quick. Every time we go against each other, I feel this insurmountable joy, knowing that, with them as my opponent, I can finally let loose. It’s the sheer adrenaline that comes from playing against someone at my own level--maybe the only one who can meet me at this level. Anime/Manga Writers: Why don’t the fans like the canon straight couple instead of the non-canon gay ships?

MC looking at their rival/best friend/partner: They’re like the sun, brilliantly blinding and all-consumingly powerful. There’s a deadly beauty and grace to every action they take. They’re the other half of me that I never thought could exist, the one person who pushes me to be my best self, and life without them would not be worth living. There’s nothing in this world that they could not accomplish and I am but a fool chasing after them in hopes of reaching their level. Even then, having them in front of me/by my side has pushed me to heights I never thought imaginable.

okay, i’ve mulled about my knb nitpicks, how to word them. think i’ve got it.

-i prolly rated s3 lower in part bc i initially found it underwhelming with how the show resolve kagakuro’s childhood friends that helped them with basketball?

for kagami, in general, i’m sorry i just didn’t find himuro all that likeable until the kuroko birthday episode tbh, and i wished you could have had glimpses of that sooner — in part, you can’t bc himuro has his inferiority complex with kagami, but. that leads to another issue.

i kinda wanted more with ogiwara originally? bc he turns up, and they have a phone conversation about him getting back into basketball so they’ll hopefully play against each other sincerely the next year (in a way that a was flat out impossible when it was with teikou). but i thought about while it rewatching and… ogiwara never really had the fallout like kagahimu did? his issues wasn’t with kuroko, exactly, but he wanted to play against a kuroko who enjoyed basketball—something that kuroko himself was trying to find, and would probably only get after he had succeeded in finding a way for the gom to enjoy playing basketball again too, which is something ogiwara also wanted! bc kuroko had confided in him and kept in touch with him during the teikou days, ogiwara knew how important his team meant to him. so for him to sit out the current&next year… it was fine. bc he was trying to motivate kuroko, somewhat, and kuroko found a way to succeed. and with that achieved, ogiwara can now look forward to playing against kuroko. so the conflict between them was different, and while i would have liked a smidge more of ogiwara, i don’t know if much more was actually needed?

-this is me being petty but i think i may have docked s3 for the eyecatches/team line up. i actually liked them at the midway point of the episode, but i was annoyed that it was only in s3 and not in s1&2. the fact it only happened in s3 made them grate a little even if they’re a cute idea but like… either have them in all seasons or not at all??? don’t introduce them in the last season!!!

-kagami’s side of the story is really weak. idk if it’s an adaptation choice or if it’s the case of the manga but… not an awful lot of time is spent that much with alex or himuro, so i care much less about them. but. alex, generally pretty gross, as a fan service object. i don’t know how old she is either but it doesn’t help. also himuro’s team only get one match so it’s harder to gauge growth tbh? but i enjoyed his interactions with takao, and i liked seeing kagami get on with himuro, so maybe had the flashback dragged their friendship out more, before himuro’s insecurity and bullshit promise happen, i could have rooted for it more. or shown more angst and conflict on kagami’s side, idk. but it was kinda glossed over for me.

-so yeah for me, s2 is both best (hanamiya & murasakibara) and worst (alex & himuro) season out of the three (momoi being used for fan service also not great btw)

-i think the anime would have benefited from spending a little more time not playing basketball and seeing them off court shenanigans tbh. i might have cared more for various characters (seirin & himuro) if that had been the case. you do get snippets often, but… it wasn’t enough beyond barely being serviceable. they’re cute and funny, but my investment levels are neutral tbh. like the moe couplets don’t mean much to me, bc it’s sometimes just feels as if the gom need a minder, and supposing that something similar to kurokaga is happening to the gom in their separate teams. imahana are my special guys, tho, since i got a penchant for nasty personalities and creeping people out, and the fact that these two have history, commenting on each other’s matches.

despite that. yeah, this show is a 10/10. why? bc kuroko succeeds in his goals. from the start to finish, it’s about kuroko trying to enjoy basketball again, and help his teikou teammates to enjoy basketball again. and he succeeds. and i fucking care about the gom!!! while i am ambivalent to seirin (sans kagami), i absolutely see how seirin is the team kuroko needed, so it works for kuroko, which in turn works for me. this whole thing was started by kuroko and ogiwara, even tho it’s peripheral, but it ended with them hoping to play next year, so it does feel full circle to me.

i love the gom & kagami friendships. i love the superhero sport matches. the soundtrack is awesome. i am consistently entertained.

so yeah, it was really worthwhile to rewatch and see how my feelings had changed or stayed the same.

Hello All!

Very ‘long time no see’ isn’t it?

Apologies for such a long delay but I wish to come back to you in this year of KNB’s anime 10th year anniversary with a brand new special Kagakuro Month Long event.

The rules are simple: from 11th of October till 10th of November we shall celebrate the ship between our favorite Seirin basketball players for 30 days with a prompt designated for each day.

During the event you can create and post any form of art work (please remember that it needs to be yours or properly credited) corresponding to one of the themes from the list. However, this is not a strict rule and you can create something that does not fit any of the themes and post it whenever you want during the month or on the last, ‘free’ day.

Please also don’t worry about the time as it’s completely fine to be late.

What: An event dedicated to our favorite knb pairing!

When: from 11TH OCTOBER – 10TH NOVEMBER

How:  To take part in the event you must only create something (fic, art, graphic, cosplay, fanvid ANYTHING) during the time frame specified and post it (or submit here) with the tag #kagakuromonth2022. There is a list of themes in the appropriate section, but if you feel like the piece you are working on does not fit the specific theme for a specific week, then worry not. You can still post it during that week, just remember to TAG IT. Also remember to TAG IT with the #kagakuromonth2022 as one of the first FIVE TAGS, otherwise it will not appear in the tag and we will lose the opportunity to see your work!
