i sat here thinking about what else, but like -- i think he'd only use nicknames in the beginning, like "hey bangs" if you had bangs or "glasses" if you had glasses like he'd take some physical/personality attribute and just... synecdoche it. he does it w/ sanji a lot in the anime where he calls him like "eyebrows". so i guess it... depends?

for some reason this is even funnier to me because the context is that he’s finally given the chance to have sex with the person he’s been attracted to, but she’s swapped bodies with someone else essentially and while he finds the concept super fucked up and is into it in theory— he realizes he doesn’t want to actually fuck her like that in real life.

Just like how most of us may enjoy super fucked up media but may be the most well adjusted “normal” people IRL. You cannot judge someone’s tastes in fiction/fantasy as a reflection of who they are as a person.
