Drabble time
Mamabison cuddle
Soft coos met your ears, quiet purrs rumble throughout the air much like bird songs. A comforting sound that would soothe any soul. And you will admit, it was rather soothing, much like a quiet lullaby luring you to the peaceful slumbers of sleep. The little bundles of warmth pressing against your side did not help your drooping lids.
Something wet licks across your cheek following a little chirp that draws your eyes to very friendly eyes that sparkle with warmth and curiosity. ‘Mamabisons’, that was what your friends called them when you first saw them. Friendly little creatures with curious eyes and happy purrs. Little fluffy creatures much akin to a large cat. The two at your side shifted, little eyes peeking out from their tuff of fur. Two little loafs of bread cuddling up against you side, one nuzzling against you and the other blinking his eyes slowly.
Brown fur warms under the sun’s rays, a gentle gold that intertwines with the shades of brown fur; glinting in the little bison’s eyes.
“What ya looking at?”
Your fingers brush against his fur across his little face. A happy little bleat bubbles from him and he presses his face into your hand, nuzzling and begging for pets. Pets that you are so generously gifted.
