You gotta check out @a-killer-obsession. They write a gorgeous amount of Heat content (the matching smiles one made me cry) and they have a Bepo fic that's spectacular 👀👀. I can't recommend their fics enough.

Today I have been simultaneously working on Heat, Kid, Cracker, and Tashigi sporadically throughout the day. I'm aiming for at least one to be polished enough to post by the end of the day 💃💃💃

I don't want to overflow them, but I feel like it's inevitable at this stage. 21 fics in a month is pretty good for me, but I can do more 😤🤌

Sims In Bloom: Generation 2 Pt. 76 (A Happy Harvestfest With One Greedy Little Genius)

Despite their busy schedules with work, Heather and Conrad hosted most of her family in Brindleton Bay for Harvestfest dinner. Ash would start school soon, and Heather could scarcely believe how fast time had gone. It seemed only yesterday she brought him home from the hospital in Henford where he was born.

Heavily pregnant herself, Heather's sister Holly spent most of the night napping in the upstairs guestroom, while her husband Kris and daughter Tetra hid out in the bathroom when the number of strange people made the infant uncomfortable. But otherwise the house was full of love and celebration, just as Harvestfest was meant to be.

Everyone ate so much there were no turkey leftovers! And though Heather was an incredible chef who had mastered gourmet cooking in their quest for ambrosia, Conrad stepped up to make this year's grand meal. Not only would it help him with his own cooking skill in their quest, it let very-pregnant Heather rest and enjoy the day with her family.

By the time everyone left, they were exhausted but content that nothing had spontaneously caught fire this time, unlike their last Spooky Day party.

A few weeks after his birthday, Ash lost his first tooth. A little genius with perhaps a hint of Landgraab greed, he was so excited for the Tooth Fairy's visit, Heather worried he'd try to pull the rest of his teeth before they were ready to fall out!

"Are you going to put that tooth under your pillow tonight?" asked Conrad.

Ash shook his head. "No, I'm gonna save it and take it to Daddy's! He told me when he was a kid, his Tooth Fairy gave him ten whole simoleons - per tooth!" Heather and Conrad exchanged wry looks. "With inflation, who knows how rich she is now!"

Conrad laughed as Heather balked. "How do you know about inflation? You're five."

"Gramma Nancy taught me about inflation," he said with a shrug. "She said when I run the company one day, I'll have to know a lot."

Heather forced a smile, but later that night she texted Malcolm.

So this is weird. I heard your Tooth Fairy got caught in the last recession and the going rate for our son's teeth is still ten simoleons.

Malcolm: ...Did he bring up inflation?

Ten! (Which is still outrageous) No more! And don't let your mother make him feel like he has to run Landgraab Corp. one day!

Malcolm: Alright, I'll tell him. I swear.

And your mother...?

He didn't respond. Even if Malcolm couldn't or wouldn't pick this battle with his mother, Heather wanted her son to work harder for whatever he wanted in life than his father ever had. She wanted him to understand responsibility despite the privileges he'd been born into.

He took out the trash, cleaned the litter boxes, fed the animals - even the beetles in the insect farm, and always did his homework. He even loved to help Conrad rake the leaves as long as he could jump and play in them when they were done!

Just as outgoing as he was as a toddler, he spent as much time as he could with his friends. He loved playing on the pirate ship by the wharf with Scotti Holiday, whose parents, Summer and Travis, had befriended Heather over numerous trips to the vet with the Holidays' dog, Kona.

"Be glad there's only going to be one at home," Scotti said. "Mateo is annoying and all Courtney does is make messes." She was about a year older than Ash. Even though he was a genius, he thought six-year-old Scotti knew more about life than he ever could.

"I'll have another one soon too, but that brother or sister will live in San Myshuno with my dad."

"Do you see your dad a lot?"

Ash shrugged. "Not as much as you see yours. I see Conrad all the time, though."

"But Detective Gordon's not even your stepdad. He can't even discipline you when you do something bad."

"I don't really do bad things..."

Scotti laughed. "You're so funny, Ash Landgraab."

Even as Heather and Conrad marveled at how fast Ash had grown, the days passed at a snail's pace as they waited for his little brother or sister to be born. ->

What are Kris's opinions on Snail Pie? Has Frisk/Chara ever had it?

Kris probably grew up with snail pie and is quite used to the taste. Both Frisk and Chara would still be grossed out by it though

anyway that would be so funny to take the awkward high school teacher and make her commit science crimes, and make the cops into a rebellious hero warrior who hates humans and a sad lonely snail farmer respectively, and the lazy guy from the store has incredible power every now and then, and his mysterious brother is the coolest guy ever, and the sad ghost is actually a robotic celebrity, and the angry ghost is a robot catgirl, and the nice older brother into a semi-evil flower, and the divorced flower shop guy is now a divorced king who’s murdered six kids, and the mom is actually a former queen with severe trauma, and all the main characters just aren’t there because the kid you thought was kris is actually just an oc that looks like them but smaller

these seemed like a nice pair together. kris and sans gaze into each other's eyes. a battle of will. determination against determination. will Kris manage to actually purchase a chocolate bar without being fucked with for twenty minutes

i really love this dramatic windswept point. Kris is trying so hard to be cool here

Hunter used the melody in his heart to drown out Osran’s voice.

“I have been told that neither Mx. Whispers, nor the Golden Guard wanted to perform for an audience anywhere,” He muttered, “but now here they are, hoping to raise snails for Sigil Removal…So I propose that we give them a stage on which they deserve to play…”

I’d like to leave the Emperor’s Coven, and never step foot in that throne room again!

With a snap of Osran’s fingers, the purple curtain behind him fell, revealing the makeshift concert space.

Stairs led up to the space where golden banners hung beside a large beating heart. Below twin flames framed a golden throne. 

“You’ve got to be fucking kidding…” Eda’s voice growled from below.’

“Oh.” That was Lilith. 

 And never step foot in that throne room again!

Hunter’s body was bathed in sweat, he gripped the neck of his guitar behind stark white knuckles. His other hand shook uncontrollably over his mouth.

Notes:

Since Hunter arrived in Nommeking City, he's been subjected to jokes about his personhood, descriptions of laws that deny him agency, a kidnapping that was brushed off as 'poachers' who saw an opportunity, emotional and physiological assault and more.

He all but lost his hope when he couldn't communicate with Willow anymore, but eventually he found his voice and hopes to use it towards change.

Alador has revealed that he has Sigil Sickness, same as Steve.

This strange ailment has killed several off screen characters, but will likely not do the same to Hunter due to the galdorstone magic in his body.

And still he's been chosen to demonstrate Sigil Removal, right after Gawain Tripe has showcased Palisman Restraints and Artificial Staves repurposing Belos' magic to the highest bidders.

And "Smart Sigils" that corporations can use to moderate how much magic their employees can use.

Nommeking represents everything Belos has taken from the Isles, but also a dark history for grimwalkers that existed before Philip Wittebane ever crossed the portal.

SCOM has been very much about Hunter finding his own voice to present his child with a world he will feel safe for her to grow up in.

He's done everything he can to break out of the cage he was place in.

He's accomplished everything he'd wanted since he told Belos what he'd wanted from his life in the Graveyard... but first and foremost?

 And never step foot in that throne room again!

So when he sees the stage set before him, it is obvious that Osran has a message for him.

so y'know how i love mushrooms, rome loves frogs, and kris loves snails... what would jack and aaron love like that?? like something that for every bday/fathers day jack would get him something with it on it and it's like this sweet little secret he has from the team because it's so pure between him and jack sksjsj i think it would be duckies or bees somethin sweet like that

Hmmm I think it depends on the age of Jack. Cuz his interests could change and adapt over the years! Defo had a bug interest, which I have a hc that Aaron also had a bug phase as a kid and still likes insects and such, he just doesn’t have the time to rly indulge in reading abt them anymore. (Based off those pics of TG holding a millipede and a praying mantis) But he defo has a tie with little beetles on that he and Jack picked out, and Jack has a shirt with different insects on with the name of them under each image. And they defo obvs had a Spider-Man theme going on too, so Aaron had a tie with a lil Spider-Man logo on it.

He keeps all the ties in a little box in his bedside drawer and when he’s going through a hard time wondering if he’s even a good dad or not, he opens the drawer to look at all the little gifts he’s gotten from Jack, along with the box of ties 🥺

Here is a small sample of what I’m writing for my reverse au. I’m taking a page out my mutual @cayenneexe book but with a little murder snail twist! I feel like the m night shyamalan of transformers right now.

Brookline, New York 1989, a busy city with busy streets and people. Now dispute everything today was a day to remember for one singular member of the Dina family.

“You want a car?” The patriarch asked the white haired man, his son in-front of him. Miguel Dina was a renowned figure in the military even after being sent home and earning his Purple Heart he still kept his reputation and his nobility, his son on the other hand Miguel Dina jr was more like his mother, roady and experimental.

“Ya if I had my own ride I could stop asking for lifts ya kno- I ah mean it makes sense right?” There where moments such as these where the young man forgets he’s talking to his father and not his friend, Chris (Not the same kris from the movie). His father sighed pinching the bridge of his nose.

“Let me guess you want to get a Porsche?”

“Actually!… I have no clue what kinda car I want…” he stared blankly at his father who was a little disappointed he hadn’t made up his mind yet.

“But! But but but I do know I want to fix it up. you In rolled me in that mechanic collage for a reason right? might as well put it to use for something fun!”

Seems Toriel still loves snails.

More importantly: The History of Humans and Monsters, by Gerson Boom.

Gerson is dead in DELTARUNE, but it is slightly implied that he was Asriel's teacher. Chances are Gerson was a friend of Toriel, which would be how she got her copy signed.

Gerson liked history in UNDERTALE, and it seems to still be the case here.

We do not know what happened in the past between Humans and Monsters in DELTARUNE, though, as they seem to all have comparable Determination and Monsters do not seem to be able to cast spells in the Light World, it is likely that the war that happens in UNDERTALE never did here. We ultimately do not know what the contents of this book are, but that last line implies it would be interesting (presumably to Kris) if you were not late to school.

We do know they are good at school despite seemingly not working hard so chances are they do find history (and likely other subjects) interesting.
