Ability genetics
Tumblr media
disclaimer: this has nothing to do with how rare an ability is. it shows how they are linked and passed down genetically, and how they can work together.
children are more likely to get their parents ability or an ability from the same category as their parents. (IE. a child with a Froster parent is more likely to Manifest as a Froster but can also Manifest as any ability in the Nimbiferous category) this applies to every category of ability
though there is something unique with Elemental abilities in some cases a child with a Elemental parent will get a random Elemental ability that wasn’t in the same category of their parent. it’s unknown what causes this phenomenon and there is continual research going into it.

the two sisters: rewritten
In the times long ago, away from Serenvale or any colony, lived two sisters. Belladonna and Saffron they were named, which they bore dutifully. They tended their small forest for many cycles of the moon and seasons which passed.
Their days were spent neither idly nor restlessly. The sisters kept mind of what they must, but did not fret. It was this way that they lived until wagon tracks were carved into the soft ground of their home.
Travelers had come to their woods, nameless and heedless. Neither of the sisters saw their faces, cloaked in heavy wool. They advanced in a line, one caravan after another, a never ending snake of creaking wood and canvas. It was Belladonna who heard the invader’s shouts as they slew the friends which were so dear to her. Beyond even the senseless killing, the strangers wore the skin of any animal they found. The meat was poked with sticks and held over small flames.
It was Saffron who saw the circle of barren ground left by their strange fire rituals. Stray embers lit up grass and small ferns, feeding a blaze which ravaged the very home they so loved. Burned any which did not run quick enough away.
Smoke filled the air, choking the survivors of the hot plague. Soot coated the ground, turning the brown and green a dull gray. Even after the strange figures had moved beyond the sisters’ home, the scars would not heal. Even they were not spared. Saffron had grown sick from the dirtiness that had seeped into them. She had no relief from that which caused it, as even then she could not abandon that which she protected.
So Belladonna carefully tended to her ailing body. She was not foolish enough to hope for recovery, but easing her sister’s pains was enough. It was a debt owed to whom she had loved for so long.
When the time for returning to the earth began, Belladonna cleared a spot, rid of the filth that still clung to her. Saffron was laid out for her shifting to begin. The last night belladonna would see her ever faithful companion’s face, she swore revenge.
Never again would a being such as that bring such destruction to her home. She would not allow for it to happen, when she had already failed so. Anyone who dared to come to her home would have to beware of that which already dwelled.
Belladonna was much sustained by that rage which now ran through her. There was no sun she could see, no grass she could feel. Without it, she would’ve had nothing to live for, nothing to fuel her.
And yet, even that could not change the fact her home was much hurt. She had failed in her great task. There was nothing left for her. So she too must shift and return to that which she stood upon.
At her weakest, she managed to crawl to beside where her sister now grew. The weak sun warmed her leaves as berries sprouted from her. Her mind faded and she was released.
She was not free from her anger even as she was from herself. The berries which grew were filled with a deadly poison. Even in a world much changed they punish hungry fools.

oaky for the record i did edit the cover art twice so it’s probably both.
there’s Five 1/2 severs and i’m in four, active in three (and a half) so i’ll send you the ones i’m active in
it can be inactive but the amount of chaos that came from this one yesterday was a little concerning but also hilarious, it’s very fun, and is the first keeper sever i joined other than mine
this one is three years old and while not everyone is still in in the fandom the people are very cool, also you get to see fics as they get worked on it’s amazing
it’s for basically what’s going to be a better version of unlocked, if you overthink about world building aspect’s of Kotlc this is the place to info dump
the 1/2 because it’s not entirely kotlc related
this is for the kotlc fandom to talk about things that arnt necessarily related to kotlc, it’s small but also pretty new, it’s run by one of my friends and is very cool
if you think the ketchup periods and the antenna elves where crazy, you should see what we get up to in the severs! (i can actually send you an invite)
also did you think it was cannon because of my edits…i didn’t think that would happen, but i was trying to make it as realistic as possible
i'm a little afraid but i would love an invite because where's the fun in joining a fandom if you're not a Bit Frazzled (pun unintended)
i thought the antennae edits were a part of official art and i just hallucinated not seeing them 😭😭 it's either i'm too gullible or your edits were incredibly realistic or both

Ability Categorization Explanation
written by Percival Mazarine
abilities are sorted into four main categories depending on how they effect the body and mind. the four categories are Cognitive, Physical, Vocal, Elemental. Cognitive Abilities effect the mind and emotions, Physical abilities effect the physical form and appearance, Vocal Abilities effect the vocal cords and speech, and lastly Elemental effect both the mind, body, and even the emotions of the elf with the ability. not only are they sorted on how they effect the elf with the ability they are also sorted on how they are passed down from parent to child.
Cognitive abilities
Cognitive abilities are sorted into two subcategories, Mental and Emotional.
the Mental abilities (Telepath and Memser) effect the minds of the elf and those around them, they use similar blocking techniques, and have the strongest mental power and awareness of the location of their consciousness than any other elf. they deal with constant headaches from the energy it takes to keep their consciousness in their mind.
the Emotional abilities (Inflictor, Empath, *Enhancer) effect the emotions of the elves and those around them, hence the name. elves with these abilities are either completely emotionally distant, or highly emotional. they deal with emotional breakdowns from the stress of their or others emotionally
as there is only one Dyscryer, it has not been placed in a subcategory. if there is any more information found on the ability, it may be placed in a category in the future.
*while Enchaner’s don’t necessarily effect the emotions it works so similarly to the Empath ability and every Enchaner has had a Empath parent
Physical Abilities
physical abilities effect the physical state or appearance (Vanisher, Phaser) or effect the location or form of the objects around them (Conjurer, Fluctuator). they effect the body and how it feels in the world. the elves with these abilities can get sensory overloads from to much sensory input, weather that be to much light for Vanishers or to many objects for a Conjurer, and will need a empty and quite space to calm down.
Vocal Abilities
vocal abilites effect the vocal cords and the voice of those with the ability (Polyglot, *Beguiler, Vociferator). all vocal abilities used to all be considered Polyglots because of how similar they are but over time it came into light that they where three separate abilities. all vocal abilities can mimic but they each of a type of mimicking that comes easily to them. Polyglots, mimics accents and voices. Beguilers emotional tone of voice no matter what they are feeling, and Vociferators can mimic any noise. while it’s normally Polyglots that will manifest a second ability, it’s often forgotten that Beguiler’s will also manifest a second time once in a while. in rare cases Vociferators have manifested a second time as well (there are two on record)
*Beguilers are also considered an emotional ability because of how it effects those who hear it, but it is categorized as a Vocal ability because of its similarities to Polyglot
Elemental Abilities
the Elemental Abilities is the largest category of abilities, and it has two subcategories Illusionist (Flasher, Shade) and Nimbiferous (Guster, Froster, Charger, Hydrokinetic) and the two uncategorized abilities (Technopath, Psionipath).
all Elemental abilities effect the body and mind of the elf. when manifesting, the elf’s physiology will change to align with the element they control (IE. a Froster will no longer feel cold, but will also get overheated easily). elves with elemental abilities also have somewhat delicate emotional states and easily lose control of their ability if upset, which is why they can be considered unstable. they also hear their element “speak” to them and can be heard speaking back to it at times in a “language” only they can understand, which furthers the implication that they are unstable.
the illusionist abilities (Flasher, Shade) control the dark and light, while they are linked to the emotions of the elf it’s no where near the same level as the Nimbiferous abilities. while Flashers are highly valued and vital part of the society, Shades are treated as untrustworthy and are outcasts. but they are both necessary and vital to our society. when they work together they can create illusions that are a incredibly useful tools that aren’t used as often as they should.
the elves with Nimbiferous abilities (Guster, Froster, Charger, Hydrokinetic) have the power to create storms and other natural disasters, and it’s something they can do from the moment they manifest. if untrained they can be a liability and cause destruction to the in the world around them. out of all the Elemental abilities those who have Nimbiferous abilities emotion’s have one of the strongest links to their ability. the stronger the emotion the less control they will have which can cause them to be dangerous if they are upset whether they have training or not. because of this the abilities in this subcategory are considered the most unstable, coming second to [REDACTED]. it’s vital to get them training from the moment they manifest, and if they run in the family it’s advised to start emotional control exercises pre manifesting age.
while Psionipath’s and Technopath’s don’t control an element, they are very similar in nature to the other elemental abilities.
Psionipath’s create force fields that are made of a mix of pure light and energy, which are two things that other elementals can control (Flashers, Chargers). their mental state is also somewhat similar to a Nimbiferous and their emotions can be similarly unstable if not taught the proper exercises. though according to research it’s also similar in nature to [REDACTED].
Techopaths while not having an emotional link to their ability, constantly mention technology speaking to them, which is something that is considered to be exclusive to elemental abilities. in rare cases Techopath’s can control technology which further is the categorization as an elemental ability.

oaky you mentioned wanting to have more info on Beguilers and i’ve got a handful of headcannon so
they don’t get sweet talk people, they can cause fear, calm people down, and change the emotion of their voice with ease no matter how they really feel. which is useful in politics because no matter how they feel about a situation they can keep a calm front and appear to be in effected by what’s happening around them. but it results in a lot of them not knowing how to express emotions properly
it’s a relatively rare ability (though not as rare as Telepaths) but it’s not uncommon to have a second ability manifest if they’re a Beguiler, and is second to Polyglots in having a second ability. ratio wise
when the ability is being used the Beguliers eyes will subtly flash with ripples of light, if a Beguiler is good at what they do they can time their blinking to go along with the flashing so it won’t be noticeable.
These are super cool! The "not knowing how to express emotions properly" is really interesting to me, since on the kotlcopedia Beguiling was connected to both emotional and vocal abilities in the ability chart, and Empaths are notorious for not properly expressing emotions. It makes me wonder if an Empath parent could have a Beguiler child or vice versa.
Ooh I love the ripples of light in the Beguiler's eye idea, that's so fun to picture! Thanks for sending me your hcs, they're awesome :D

Elven Medicine
SPECIALTIES Written By: @nyxpixels
Outside of general practice there are those who choose to specialize in specific healthcare fields.
Examples:
General Physician Specialists
General Physicians: Physicians who practice general medicine, without any specialties. Most of these types of physicians are also public physicians and can be found on the PPL.
Family Physicians (Aka Private Physicians): Physicians who privately care for specific families. These physicians may be general practitioners, or specialized healers.
Maternity Physicians: Physicians who care for pregnant women and newborns.
Pediatric Physicians: Physicians who care for children between the ages of 2-18.
Ancient Physicians: Physicians who specialize in healthcare for ancient elves.
Ability Physicians
Talented Healers: Physicians who work with individuals with abilities. (General)
Elemental Physicians: Physicians who work with individuals who have elemental abilities. (Flashers, Shades, Chargers, Gusters, Frosters, Pyrokinetics, Hydrokinetics, Technopaths.)
Mind Healers: Physicians who work with individuals who have mental abilities. Oftentimes these physicians are Telepaths, or Empaths. (Telepaths, Mesmer’s, Empaths, Inflictors, Enhancers.)
Physical Ability Physicians: Physicians who work with individuals who have physical abilities. (Vanishers, Phasers, Conjurers.)
Vocal Healers: Physicians who work with individuals who have vocal abilities. (Vociferators Polyglots, Beguilers.)

ELVEN DRESS: LABOR WEAR
Written by: Florence vixen
Underwear is gender neutral for the most part. Cotton undershorts are worn by everyone. Linen undershirts are used to line the outfit and wick up moisture. These are always short sleeved. A laie (1) supports the back. Depending on body shape and size the corset can cover the chest. Underwear can be as decorated or as discreet as the owner wishes.
Overwear usually consists of a plain shirt and pants combo. The shirt can be long or short sleeved depending on the weather. It is usually an earthy tone with a bit of embroidery at the collar. It fits loosely around the chest but is more fitted every where else. Pants are in earthy tone with no decoration. Both can match in color but it’s considered unnecessary. The pants also fit loosely but don’t bulge out. Pants can be exchanged for knee length shorts depending on the weather. A jacket can be worn in winter but legs are left as they are for freedom of movement. Sturdy ankle boots would be worn.
Hair is covered in a linen cloth to wick moisture and protect from heat. The cloth is called a wrap . There are many ways to wear the cloth and the style is usually up to personal choice. Long hair is plaited and pinned into a bun. The wrap would be pinned into place. For shorter hair it would be wrapped as it was and tied at the nape of the neck.
This is worn by the untitled classes and nobles rarely don it. It is used for gardening or other manual labor which in titled homes is done primarily by gnomes. It is considered the least formal wear even for form (2) clothing and is only worn when around family. Wearing it in public or when guests visit is considered rude.
1 a garment designed for back support
2 types of clothing that don’t overly enhance the form

oh, oh i have SO many thoughts on this
i think they would be pitiful to the parents faces, “what a shame” they would say if the child was a good match “they’re sorry that the parents had a child like…that” “it’s just bad luck” “try again you can have a not broken kid”
behind closed doors they would blame the mother of cheating, mock the child for how they are and say things like “well that one can’t ever get married, we can’t have those genes passing on” “it will probably never manifest” “i’m surprised a good match managed to have a child like..that”
bad matches wouldn’t be given that kind of “kindness” they would cruel to their faces telling them how “it’s your fault” “if you didn’t want a disabled kid shouldn’t have been a bad match”
Physicians will just run tests on them to figure out why they are “broken”. so that would cause a fear of physicians in disabled Elves
a lot of noble families would hide their children away, not wanting them to be seen by the public. they’re nobles they must be perceived as perfect at all times. their children wouldn’t go to foxfire they would grow up and get jobs in mysterium and their family would act like they never existed.
the ones who didn’t and acknowledged and love their child weather they where nobles or not would hear things like "how they can't believe that they would take a child like that out of the house" that “that thing does nothing but make the family look bad" that “they should keep it locked up somewhere. not show it off" ask questions like "why does it act like that?" and say things like "that they will never be independent and will be a burden on their family forever and they should iust lock it up" just really old fashioned ableism.
it's probably better in working class cities because there are more disabled people around, but they are still infantilized. often asked if they are allowed to be out and talked to like children even if they are adults. comments like these are mostly made to those with obvious disabilities those with invisible disabilities are expected to act like they don't and are punished by their school and work for not doing enough. people get annoyed when they don’t understand things as fast or can’t read easily.
I've been rereading the books recently and I'm just...thinking again about how elves would treat physically/mentally disabled people.
Because, we already have how they treat Talentless and how they treat humans (important because humans are "not intelligent" from there standards) and the way they say that twins are an example of bad genes and Pyrokentics, Exilium and just...
Could you imagine an elf having a disabled child? I think the elves would sound "nice" about it, sound sympathetic, talk about how "sorry" they are that they have to live like this. How "sorry" they are that they can't do anything to help them. How "sorry" they are that they have to live at all.
Because I think they'd see it as an "unfortunate situation" caused by bad matching or something like that. I don't think they'd be actively malicious but I can imagine that they do try to...keep it out of the perfect gene pool as best as they can.
This is really just a lot of disconnected thoughts but I just...cannot imagine the elves treating someone with a disability in a respectful way.

An Unlikely Trio
Scarect eyed the goblin warrior, and drew his blade. The other figure returned the gesture, and lunged at Scarect. The two engaged in combat for several minutes, various fluids coating their bodies. They only paused their fatal dance, when they heard a small crash sound out from the forest floor. They turned their heads and saw the limp figure of a young gnome girl. She had fallen from the tree above her, which had sheltered her from view. They both approached her, wordlessly agreeing on a temporary truce. The goblin gently prodded the girl several times, each attempt as fruitless as the last. Scarect gently scooped up the girl, and examined her face. A large scratch ran from her eye to her cheek, blood already clotting up over it. The goblin stood a few strides away from them, ready to attack at any sign of aggression against the girl. Scarect ignored him and started carrying the fragile figure home. The goblin followed close behind, still wary of the ogre. They reached the humble estate, and Scarect led them to the the medicine cabinet. He tended to her wounds and waited for her to wake up. To fill the silence, the goblin started making polite conversation. It was awkward for a while, but soon became relaxed. He learned the goblin’s name was Ares. The conversation went on for a while, about everything and nothing. The girl stirred, and they froze in anticipation. Her eyes fluttered, and she pushed herself upright. She took in her surroundings and started panicking. Both of them rushed to calm her down, and were successful after a couple moments. Ares explained what had happened in a calm voice. He asked her what her name was. She whispered something that sounded like Iris. He smiled and told her it was a very pretty name. That made her beam, and she seemed slightly more relaxed. Scarect asked her why she was in the forest. She said it was because she was visiting her parent’s grave. Guilt washed over the two men. Both of them were more determined than ever to make her feel comfortable. Ares went to grab a blanket, and Scarect started making her soup. She seemed content to watch as they made her as comfortable as possible. A couple days passed in a blur. Iris’s wounds disappeared almost completely. Even though neither of them would admit it, the two men had grown quite used to the other’s company. Their little fight, nothing but a distant memory. A feeling settled over the trio, something that could only be described as home.

Elven Medicine
ABILITIES IN MEDICINE
Flashers often choose to become physicians, because of their ability to use light to identify different diseases and injuries.
Physicians who are not flashers must use specially colored candles to achieve the same things.
With the ability to detect whether a patient is lying, and the amount of pain a patient is in, Empaths also commonly choose to become physicians.
Sadly, there is discrimination in medicine. With some Physicians refusing to treat those with certain backgrounds and abilities. Shades, Mesmer’s, and Pyrokinetics often are refused treatment. Talentless, disabled, multiple birthed, and bad matches also get turned away by more prejudiced practitioners.
Hydrokinetics are more susceptible to electricity and will have further damage done to their body if electrocuted. It causes twice as much damage because the water in a hydrokinetics body is more conductible than the average elf.
Frosters get sunburned and overheated easily, be sure to provide a froster patient with different ways to cool down when being treated.
If Pyrokinetics are not bundled up in the cold, they will contract hypothermia and possibly frostbite. Ensure all prokinetic patients are warm.
Shades (like Frosters) can get sunburns easily. They also cannot see very well in bright light. The night vision skill does seem to come more easily to them.
Flashers often struggle to see in the dark, and often face negative effects when shadowvapor is used near them, or on them.
Gusters need a higher intake of oxygen and are more susceptible to pneumonia.
Technopaths get migraines from being around too much tech, and from getting too many ideas at once.

hey Quill, i’m working on the Kotlcopedia and have finnished the Ogre page and while i have ideas for the Goblins and Gnomes, but have no ideas for Trolls and Dwarves, can hear every idea you have for them
if i get all the species and 3-5 abilities done then i get to make the index, which is a reward because i’m Autistic and a index is just a fancy list.
Hello! Thanks for your patience as I answered this; I didn't mean to take as long as I did, but hopefully this helps with your kotlcopedia! It's my understanding that this is an assortment of headcanons not necessarily aligned with canon, right? I think that's what you said it is, so that's the idea I'll base my response around :)
Trolls:
They have an increased tolerance to extreme temperatures, able to withstand more extreme heat than any other species and are more resilient to the cold, though the cold gets to them quicker than the heat. However as they progress through the stages of their lives, this tolerance fades slightly; by the time they're in their final stages it's significantly weakened, but they're still more hardy than humans and elves.
Additionally, through each stage of their lives their organs shift--some more extreme than others. They have the most during the newborn stage of their lives, and as they grow older they break down and merge with other nearby organs that become more important in later stages, similar to how human newborns have more bones than adults, bones that fuse together as they age. It's unknown the extent of the differences in organs between newborns and later stages, as interacting with newborns is dangerous even for other trolls. It's believed some of the organs are used are absorbed as nutrition for the brain as it develops away from it's senseless violence newborn condition.
Trolls are a very social species, their cities and homes built close together and dense with the intention of allowing everyone to coexist and rely on each other. Cities were originally designed with separate districts/sections for those in different life stages, allowing people to stay together and bond with their generation and progress through life together. Communication would occur across sections however, alerting the trolls to the benefit of sharing experiences and relying on one another, and now trolls of all stages live alongside one another. It is still possible to find concentrations of those all in the same stage, but that's most common among the youngest--who do not yet known how to exist alongside others--and the oldest--who are more fragile and prefer to converse with one another.
Dwarves:
Similar to a mole, dwarven fur is so dense that it cannot be penetrated by water or dirt, and it instead only clings to the outside of their bodies, easily shed by shaking it off. This makes them more suited to living underground and makes the waxing of the ruler more significant. It is considered a show of power, but is in a sense a surrender of power to the people. A waxed dwarf is less suited to their own home and must rely on their people in terms of building tunnels, in protecting the city, and more. It shows the power of the people and the faith between ruler and ruled, as the ruler has significant motivation to serve the best interests of their people.
Dwarves are the most connected species simply because of their size. With a population of little over 300, there is no need for homes outside of one location, and those who stray too far from Loamnore almost always end up returning. Almost every dwarf knows the name of all other dwarves with more than just a working knowledge of who they are. This is not to say they are all intimately familiar with each other, but rather that it's inevitable to come to know each other when all in one place after a few centuries. Even with their houses all separate from each other, day to day life brings them into each others' paths from time to time.
The dwarven language is naturally a louder language to allow it to travel better across long distances underground, given the separation dwarves prefer despite being so connected. However, two dwarves in the same space will speak in tones quiet enough that it's nearly imperceptible to human ears given dwarves advanced senses. Given that dwarves are frequently speaking to each other from a distance or while engaged in another activity--such as tunneling--, emphasis is put on intonation and manner of speaking and less so on body language. Dwarves frequently do not move or express themselves facially when speaking, as their language prioritizes other methods of communication. Those more fluent in other languages with express more body language to match the native cadence of those languages, but it is a learned behavior.
I don't know how much information you wanted or about what, but hopefully that's enough to get you started! Thanks for the ask and I hope your fancy list goes well !!

@you-have-been-frizzled
Foxfire and Exillium can't be the only schools in the Lost Cities, so I'm making up my own, a secret third option, Gildstern.
Gildstern is a school for non-banished elves who do not pass the entrace exam or midterms or finals for Foxfire, talentless elves, and non-noble elves.. If a noble elf is talentless, the elf goes to Gildstern instead for what would traditionally be the Elite Levels.
School starts at nine o'clock am sharp, and ends at 4:30 pm.
Gildstern focuses on non-ability-based things. In the Foxfire curriculum, those are noted as the following:
Agriculture - this is taught by gnomes! It is to be noted that some Gildstern graduates tend to go into the agricultural field, and work with gnomes. The Council uses that as an excuse - 'we're doing agriculture too!' and safely ignores the fact that Gildstern graduates are, by virtue of their position, not exactly happy with the Council.
Alchemy & Elementalism - a popular pastime and career, alchemy is some Gildstern students' favourite class. Like agriculture, alchemy is a very common career choice for Gildstern graduates. Instead of being two independent courses, Gildstern has chosen to combine them. Slang is often used, as this is called 'AlchEm'.
History - it's very important to learn history. All history is taught, only the censors guarding things, including human history. The year is divided into halves, and then one half is divided into six quadrants. One half of the year is spent teaching about Elvin history, and the other six are about all other intelligent species and humans.
Physical Education & Skills - the skill teaching in Exillium and the physical education in Foxfire, combined! Called just Physical Education.
Metaphysics & the Universe - exactly like in Foxfire, again combined. As slang, Gildstern students call this class 'The Works'.
Talents/Linguistics - this is its own thing, where elves who have manifested take classes together with those who also manifested. If the students are talentless and in the last two years of Gildstern, they replace this class with Linguistics, where they learn languages. Those languages are not taught to manifested students, although if the students really want to, they are allowed to take Linguistics in a different way. Talents and Linguistics replace what was previously Ability Detecting for the previous five years.
Okay, that's the curriculum. There are tests, but there is no need to score perfectly on them. Instead, those tests are used to determine which group the students fall into. Smarter students are in class together, while less smart students are together too. It varies subject by subject, and the Gildstern staff just says it's because of schedule mixing.
Students have five days of school, two of which have half their classes, two of which have the other half, and one of which comprises entirely of study hall and visiting hours. If the student is taking talents, they have a period where they can take Linguistics. If students are not taking talents, they can sign up for any of the clubs which happen, or they can spend time in the music program. If you're not taking music or linguistics, you can just simply have a study period. at that time, you don't even need to be at school.
Things to do on study hall days are listed as thus:
Linguistics - if you are taking talents, here is your two-hour period for Linguistics! 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
Music - have an interest in music? Take this class to learn music theory, compose music, and make music. Happens at 11:05 am to 12:05 pm.
Lunch - you're required to be at lunch, because announcements and attendance is recorded here, as it is in the rest of the days. 12:10 pm to 1:10 pm.
Hobby Clubs - these are clubs for things like reading, writing, animals, games, and design. 1:15 pm to 1:45 pm.
Drama - technically a class. This lasts for one and a half hours. 1:50 pm to 3:20 pm.
Subject Clubs/Tutoring - each last thirty minutes, and run twice. If you're interested in a particular subject, get there for one of the sessions, or sign up for tutoring! Help each other and have fun! 3:25 pm to 3:55 pm OR 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
Of all schools, Gildstern in the closest to high school and middle school formats in the human world.
Students who are talentless enjoy study hall days because they do not have to arrive at school until 12:00 pm, or, if they take music, until 11:00 am. Sometimes, if a student has no classes on a study hall day, they only come for lunch and then leave. After all, lunches are quality and worth it, and leaping is easy.
An student's schedule on regular days may look like this:
9:00 am to 10:00 am - The Works

Gildstern is a manor donated by a talentless Vacker who realized with anger that there is no option for continued education. To this day, there has always been a talentless principal. The manor is large, and contains multiple wings. Fortunately, the secret passageways now function as actual things, and people will often take them to get places easier. The manor is shaped like Versailles, and is around half the size of Versailles. One wing is entirely devoted to apartments, for the teachers and principles, in case if necessary.
Wraith is the Vanishing teacher.
(Also - let me know if I forgot anything, because I am going through this)
