A new visual for the “Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san” S2 TV anime has been released. Its broadcast will premiere July 7th.

Earlier today, the official Karakai Jozu no Takagi-san (Teasing Master Takagi-san) anime website updated with a new key visual, as well as a trailer and two cast members.

We break the details down below.

Trailer

The two-minute trailer sees a sweet moment after school turn into an impromptu rock skipping challenge.

The image features Takagi-san and Nishikata sitting together on a grassy hill.

Cast

The series will add the following:

Karakai Jozu no Takagi-san returns to Japanese TV on July 7. The full premiere schedule is as follows (all times JST):

Tokyo MX: 7/7/2019 at 23:30 (7/7/2019 at 11:30PM)

AT-X: 7/8/2019 at 22:00 (7/8/2019 at 10:00PM)

Yomiuri TV: 7/8/2019 at 26:29 (7/9/2019 at 2:29AM)

BS-NTV: 7/9/2019 at 23:30 (7/9/2019 at 11:30PM)

J:COM: 7/10/2019 at 23:30 (7/10/2019 at 11:30PM)

The series will stream exclusively on Netflix in Japan.

Hiroaki Akagi (Hina Logic – from Luck & Logic) will return to direct the new season at Shin-Ei Animation, with Shin’ya Une working as assistant director. Aya Takano (Himouto! Umaru-chan, Polar Bear’s Cafe) will reprise her role as character designer, while Takuji Mogi and Natsuko Kondou work as sub-character designers. The team of Kanichi Katou (Idol Time PriPara, Jewelpet Happiness), Aki Itami (Animation Runner Kuromi 2, Forest of Piano), and Hiroko Fukuda (Amanchu! Advance, Uchi no Oochopus) will collaborate on the new season’s scripts.

The show’s first season aired in Wintr 2018. Crunchyroll streamed the season as it aired, and describe it as:

“I swear I’m going to tease and embarrass Takagi-san today!”

Nishikata, a middle-schooler, keeps getting teased by the girl who sits next to him in class, Takagi-san.

He tries every day to get back at her, but will he ever succeed? Takagi-san and Nishikata’s youthful teasing battle starts now!
