Enhancing Your Gaze: A Comprehensive Guide to Choosing and Buying Kajal Online
Eyes are the windows to the soul, and kajal has been an age-old secret to accentuate their beauty. With the convenience of online shopping, selecting the perfect kajal has never been easier. Consider the following tips to make your online kajal purchase a delightful experience.
Ingredients Matter: Opt for kajals enriched with natural ingredients like almond, castor, or coconut oil. These enhance your eye's beauty and nourish and protect the delicate skin around them.
Smudge-Proof Formulas: Look for long-lasting and smudge-proof formulas to ensure your kajal stays put throughout the day. This is especially crucial for those with busy schedules who need makeup that lasts from dawn to dusk.
Waterproof Wonders: If you face unpredictable weather or enjoy a good swim, invest in a waterproof kajal. This ensures your eyes remain beautifully defined even during unexpected rain showers or impromptu pool parties.
Rich Pigmentation: Choose kajals with intense pigmentation for a bold and dramatic look. A single stroke should be enough to define your eyes, giving them a captivating allure.
Brand Reliability: Stick to renowned brands with positive reviews to ensure the quality of your kajal. Well-established brands often invest in research to create products that are not only safe but also effective.
Multiple Shades: While traditional black kajal is timeless, experimenting with different shades can add versatility to your makeup routine. Consider browns and blues to diversify your look for various occasions.
Easy Application: Opt for kajals with user-friendly applicators. Choose what feels comfortable for you, whether you prefer pencil, retractable, or gel formats. A smooth application is key to achieving that perfect, well-defined gaze.
Budget-Friendly Options: Quality need not always come with a hefty price tag. Many reputable brands offer budget-friendly kajals without compromising on quality. Explore different options to find the perfect match for your needs and budget.
Allergy Considerations: If you have sensitive eyes or wear contact lenses, choose hypoallergenic kajals to avoid discomfort or irritation. Always check the product details for allergy-friendly formulations.
Customer Reviews: Before purchasing, read customer reviews to gain insights into real experiences. This can be a valuable resource to understand how the product performs in different conditions and if it lives up to its promises.
In conclusion, choosing the right kajal online involves a blend of personal preferences, product features, and brand reliability. By keeping these factors in mind, you'll be well on your way to enhancing your gaze with the perfect kajal that complements your style and lifestyle. Happy shopping!

6 Out-of-the-Box Kajal Eye Looks You Should Try Right Now
A kajal must now be on every girl's makeup vanity. Applying a waterproof kajal instantly adds glitz and transforms any outfit. Learning how to apply waterproof kajal and eyeliner to create a variety of looks, such as a smokey eye or tight line, is now an essential part of our search. However, we are here to assist you if you continue to struggle!
The first and most fundamental step is to find a waterproof kajal online that meets your requirements. There are applicator-equipped, normal, and retractable pencil liners to choose from. If you want a kohl kajal with natural ingredients that nourishes and protects your eyes, the eye kajal pencil is the best choice. In addition, you can achieve a variety of looks with this versatile kajal pencil liner. As a result, continue reading to discover the stunning looks that this pencil liner can create for you.
Keep perusing here to find out about the six astonishing looks you can accomplish with kajal for an in vogue and refined appearance. You can either go for a bold, sharp look by following our step-by-step instructions for applying kajal, or you can keep it natural.
Plain lining: Do you still need to look fashionable but want those five extra minutes to relax in your bed before going to the office or attending an online meeting? The solution is a Viseart kajal pencil! Kajal is the most common and easiest way to improve your daily vision. If you're thinking about how to faultlessly apply thick dim kajal to your lower top, here's the response. Start at the outer corner and gradually work your way inward for a darker finish. Stretching the line too far into the inner corners will result in creases.
Smudging's Effect: Are you going to a party late? Do you need a smokey appearance in just five minutes? For that smirched, provocative look, you can apply kajal with your fingers or a brush without any problem. To get a well-smudged finish, begin by lightly smudging the outer corner of your lower waterline. Also, this is a great option if you have dark circles and want a more in-depth look.
Smokey Eyes in reverse: We have a great, simple trick for you if you're not sure how to apply kajal without it smudging. Instead of applying a smudged look to your upper eye, apply it to your lower waterline. To create a bold, bold look that makes a statement, waterproof Kajal can be applied in a few different ways. Smoke it out after applying a generous amount to the lower lid and smudging it off with a brush!
Strong Wing: Do you struggle to apply the right wing? The quickest method is to use a kajal pencil. Draw a wing on your upper lid with your kajal. If it's not perfect, lightly smudge it to make it look even. This is a straightforward and efficient strategy for achieving seductive eyes for a romantic evening.
Use of the Upper Lid: Applying kajal to the upper lid is a good place to start if you want to learn how to apply it to big or small eyes. This application makes your eyes appear significantly larger. Moreover, mascara is a must-have for achieving flawless eyes.
Make use of coloured kajal: How do you apply kajal to the eyes in an informal Indian style? Bring in some colour. Pick one of the many tones to perceive how to apply it. Another great way to get the "no makeup" look is to apply a light colour to the upper lid. Utilize both lids for a more striking appearance.
To experiment with new makeup looks, you don't have to be an expert. You won't have any trouble applying Kajal and getting the look you want if you follow our advice. To work on your glitz, there is a stunt for each sort of use. Make use of them immediately! You will always look stunning with any one of the six kajal looks listed above.
If you want the best waterproof kajal for yourself, you should buy it from a well-known store like Forever 52. You can try these 6 Out-of-the-Box Kajal Eye Looks Right Now by ordering white kajal, pencil liner, or waterproof kajal and eyeliner online from a famous store like Forever 52.

Step-by-Step Guide for Perfect Eye Definition of Kohl
Applying kajal (kohl) is a simple yet effective way to accentuate your eyes and enhance your overall look. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you apply kajal the right way:
### Step-by-Step Guide
#### 1. Prepare Your Eyes
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/fe5debab66318d98bdf3089dcc089018/cec4a144061124ed-5c/s540x810/6418ffcad88bc9ab3f9326c0a87a45d1a6b28730.jpg)
#### 2. Prime Your Eyes
Apply a thin layer of eye primer or foundation around your eyes. This helps in creating a smooth base and increases the longevity of the kajal.
#### 3. Choose the Right Kajal
Select a matte kohl pencil or stick that is of good quality. Opt for one that is smudge-proof and long-lasting. A creamy, smooth-textured kajal glides on easily without tugging on your delicate eye area.
#### 4. Begin with the Lower Waterline
Start by pulling down your lower eyelid gently with your non-dominant hand. With your dominant hand, apply the kajal starting from the outer corner of your eye and moving towards the inner corner. For a more intense look, you can apply multiple layers.
#### 5. Upper Waterline (Tightlining)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/5aa2cc17741e90532e3125974f3b2e2e/cec4a144061124ed-16/s540x810/ba645567a474e9892a44fb45df0adcae7e34695f.jpg)
#### 6. Smudge for a Smokey Effect
If you prefer a smokey look, gently smudge the kajal along your lower lash line using a small smudging brush or a cotton swab. This creates a soft, blended effect.
#### 7. Set with Powder (Optional)
To prevent smudging and ensure longevity, lightly dust some translucent powder under your eyes after applying the kajal. This step is especially useful for those with oily skin or in humid conditions.
#### 8. Additional Touches
You can also apply kajal along your upper lash line for a more dramatic effect. Extend it slightly beyond the outer corner of your eyes for a subtle winged look.
### Tips for Perfect Kajal Application
- Steady Hands: Rest your elbow on a flat surface while applying kajal to keep your hand steady.
- Avoid Over-Applying: Too much kajal can make your eyes look smaller. Apply just enough to define your eyes.
- Hydration: Keep your kajal pencil sharpened for precise application, and ensure it is well-hydrated to avoid dryness and breakage.
- Removal: At the end of the day, remove kajal with a good-quality makeup remover to avoid eye irritation and infections.
By following these steps, you can achieve a well-defined, striking look with your kajal, making your eyes the focal point of your makeup.

some astro notes on the EYES
- pisces, especially revati nakshatra can either have very expressive eyes or a blank stare; a gaze that's here, but "not here," a far-off look
- a strong influence of pitta - firey, hot planets like the sun & mars, malefic planets in fire signs can lead to "discolored" eyes that are not a bright white but may have an off-white or yellowish tint
- the whiteness of the eyes is associated with femininity, which corresponds with the water and earth element. kapha tends to give bright white eyes
- ardra nakshatra's deity is rudra, the terrifying form of lord shiva, who is said to have red eyes in some depictions
ardra natives are associated with red eyes and can have a wild, fierce look about them.
ardra is also associated with red eyes via its crying symbolism
& being a rahuvian nakshatra, is inclined to smoke 🌿
- leo rising can potentially bestow "yellow eyes," more prominently in males
- scorpio risings are said to have "power in their eyes," meaning they are very observant and see what people are doing. their eyes can be commanding & intimidating, as well as alluring, scorpio being a water sign
scorpio risings can be observant in a psychological sense, such as a observing body language and trying to gauge emotions and intentions from that, or studying micro facial expressions; observant in the occult sense of observing dreams, astrological studies, etc.
- rahu's nakshatras (ardra, swati, shatabisha) are extremely observant of their surroundings and the physical world they are placed in. immersed in the sights, sounds, smells of their environment, often leading to big, childlike eyes - full of wonder, soaking in the sights & sounds of the world
- the fire element represents vision, so afflictions to the fire signs may afflict the eyesight, depending on planetary conditions
- ashlesha natives have alluring, cat-like eyes that pull you in. eye makeup such as kohl or kajal and mascara can enhance this quality
- chitra natives can have big eyes that tend to narrow significantly when they smile, as well as rohini
- revati, bharani, krittika and venusian natives are good at acting with their eyes. they can excel at dance and can express different emotions with their eyes
- bharani natives can make excellent actors and performers due to being able to cry on command, & how dramatically they can express different emotions and invoke different emotions and reactions in audiences
bharani natives are also prone to crying and may often burst out in tears, though they may not like to show this aspect of themselves
bharani is associated with childbirth and babies who are prone to crying to express emotion.

Jason x south asian!reader headcanons (I wrote this with a Pakistani fem!reader in mind. However, I did try to keep it neutral)
- He feeds you samosas and ties your hair for you, while your henna is drying. He has the stupidest grin plastered on his face while doing so, it makes his heart feel full
- He studies your native language to try and communicate with you and your family better. He gets really shy when he uses the wrong grammar or pronounces a word wrong
- Jason has a very special place in his heart for Urdu because it is one of the South Asian languages of poetry (I speak this one lol)
- He definitely learned Urdu, Farsi and Arabic for literary and poetic reasons, now you have to hear him recite different sonnets in multiple languages every day (so cute)
- He studied Islamic history and Hindu scriptures. It piqued his interest and if any of these religions apply to you, then it helps him understand you better
- You always make him wear kohl or kajal in his eyes and he never says no
- You sit on his lap and gently add the kajal in his waterline and he can’t help but smirk in excitement. He likes being close to you
- Jason likes to wear black kurtas. Need I say more? They hug his arms so deliciously, he looks so pretty in them
- Your dupatta (scarf) got caught on his watch one time and he couldn’t stop smiling
- He kisses your hand and calls you meri dunya (my world) and meri jaan (my life)
- He’s disgustingly cringe, he watched an old Shahrukh Khan movie with you once and did THE pose (im crying)
- Orange theory but with pomegranates
- Ultimate brown dad behaviour, let me explain, you tell him you like something and the next day there’s a million packets of it
- He’s a Noor Jehan listener and Galib quoter (me)
- Whenever you wear a lengha or any flowy outfit, he’ll spin you around before pulling you in for a kiss

Kalank nahi , ishq hai kajal piya
Love is not a blemish , but kohl my dear
I always wondered what the writer would have thought while penning these lines....
What I could interpret is that "kalank" also known as blemish and "kajal" also known as kohl , both are black in colour
"Kalank" is something which we are ashamed to wear on ourselves but "Kajal" is something which everyone wears with pride....
So love is something one must never be ashamed to show rather they should wear it with pride....

I was in no mood for studying. Every time my eyes glanced at the page of my textbook, I would try to understand the concept, but my efforts were in vain. All the words flew above my head, and my mind was cluttered with a hundred different things.
I was humming a tune with my feet tapping to the beats. My fingers tried to rotate an empty pen flawlessly as my mind raced with thoughts about the upcoming tests, with catchy tunes from Instagram reels serving as the background music.
Sighing, I placed the pen on my open notebook, scribbled with equations and definitions, and grabbed my phone from my bed. I peered outside the window, silently admiring the quiet roads of my society. It was 11 p.m., and I could see a few balconies lit with golden LED lights that looked warm and cosy.
Below my window were green bushes and jasmine plants that were filled with white buds, ready to bloom at dawn. I plugged my earphones into the phone and opened YouTube to play my favourite go-to songs to soothe my mind.
And just like that, my body began swaying to the familiar tunes, and a smile graced my lips. Deciding that I could no longer stop myself from dancing, I quietly locked my room from the inside and unplugged my earphones.
Opening my braid, I let my hair fall loosely down my shoulders. Admiring the curly ends that had formed because of the tight braid, I smiled at the mirror and admired myself in the mirror.
Dressed in a long grey sleepwear T-shirt and black capri, I wasn’t a sight to behold at eleven in the night, especially for someone who had spent all her day studying. I looked exhausted after all the mental labour my brain had to do, but the open hair and the light breeze from the window did make me feel a little refreshed.
Aankhon ki gustakhiyan came up, and I grinned at the mirror. I twirled in the room as gracefully and quietly as I could. Kavita Krishnamurthy’s part came up a while later, and I was ready with katakamukha mudra to enact a woman shyly opening her veil to her beloved.
Aankhon ki sharm-o-haya maaf ho
Tumhe dekh ke jhukti hain
Uthi aankhen joh baat na keh saki
Jhuki aankhen woh kehti hain
I pretended to peer down while darting my eyes for a second at my imaginary lover in the mirror at the last line. Taking another twirl, I began practicing a few hand combinations for the instrumental part while practicing an easy-going, graceful smile in the mirror.
Quickly lining my eyes with kajal and applying a bindi to the centre between my eyebrows, I hurried back to the middle of my room, which acted as my imaginary stage, and giggled to myself while blushing hard for the upcoming stanza.
Kajal ka ek til tumhare labon pe laga loon
Haan chanda aur suraj ki nazron se tumko bacha loon.
I dabbed some kajal from the corner of my eyelids and applied it below my lips, and then I acted to be completely besotted with my beloved.
Har dum tumhe sochti hain
Jab hosh mein hota hai jahaan
Madhosh yeh karti hain
Moving my fingers around my kohl-lined eyes, I closed them a little and curved my wrists in a spinning motion to show the state of being drunk in love.
My eyes for a second moved outside the window and went downwards at the bushes when I found a boy staring up at me. I gasped and averted my eyes while scurrying back to the door to calm my racing heart.
I counted the rapid beating of my heart until ten and tip-toed to the window again. Hiding half of my face behind the curtain, I peered down the window to check if the boy was still standing there or not.
He was!
“No use hiding. I have already seen you. You dance really well.”
Blushing at the compliment and at my embarrassment, I replied, “Thanks.”
“What’s your name?” The boy asked.
The white lights were dim, and some were already switched off. I could barely make out the boy’s appearance. I could spot a bike and the boy standing beside it, all dressed in a sleeveless grey tank top and black trousers. His hair tousled because of the wind, probably from the bike ride, and his face was half hidden thanks to the dim street lights; he looked no less dreamy.
I wondered how I hadn’t seen this guy before.
“Sameera. Yours?”
“I will tell you if you agree to meet me at the society park tomorrow evening. I am new here, though.”
Taken aback and slightly amused at his forwardness, I said, “I have my dance class in the evening.”
“When does your class end?”
“At 6.30 PM.”
The boy thought for a while before saying. I silently looked at him, wondering what in the fictional novel world I had actually seeped into when he looked up at me again. “I will see you around 7 then. Goodnight.”
Passing me a two-finger salute, he sat atop his bike and sped off towards D-wing. After a minute, I tapped my head and stood in front of the mirror to contemplate what had happened in these ten minutes. Aankhon ki gustakhiyan had finished a long time ago, and Dekha ek khwaab had begun playing.
I rolled my eyes while trying to hide the bright smile on my lips as I glanced at my reflection. Hiding my face in my palms, I closed my textbook and notebook. Placing them on their rightful shelves, I made my bed, and with a strange, warm smile, I went to bed. My mind was now fixed on the boy on the bike outside the window.

Randomly thought of Desi James Potter seeing his mom put on kajal/kohl before going out and he's so intrigued because her eyes just seemed to look bigger and so much more beautiful than usual, so he decides to do it the same way his mom does it.
(for context, the traditional way of putting on kajal for some desis is by using their fingers. Like we pull our cheek down with one hand to separate the waterline from the eye, smear kajal on any one finger in the other hand and use it to colour (? Idk how to describe it bye- ) our waterline.)
He doesn't get it at first, he's scared of poking his eye and ends up smearing the kajal below it.
But when he finally gets it, he's always wearing it. Whether he's at home or in classes or even in a quidditch match, he doesn't go out without it.
And he just looks so bloody beautiful.

The Story of Solah Shringar
The Indian bride is the epitome of grace, elegance, and beauty. Her attire and traditional Indian bridal jewelry catch every eye and leave a lasting impression on everyone. While her wedding outfit accentuates her best features, her Indian bridal jewelry adds a subtle shine and a touch of sophistication to her entire look.
As per tradition, the Indian bride embellishes herself with 16 adornments on her wedding day. These adornments are called Solah Shringar. This ritual has been practiced since ancient times and is an integral part of bridal preparations.
The story behind the Solah Shringar features Rati, the wife of Kamdev, the Hindu god of love. Rati engaged in severe penance to appease Goddess Lakshmi. She was then blessed with the 16 adornments from Lakshmi and wore them to impress and marry Kamdev.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/f5522327c2333fbf25f51ee0b5a53be0/d2e0160c14f4c377-19/s540x810/5eff485f6fababec224a26397e7471a789067768.jpg)
16 adornments (16 sringar)are
1. Sindoor
The first adornment is Sindoor, also known as kumkum or vermillion. Sindoor holds a special place as it marks the beginning of a woman’s new journey as a bride. Sindoor is applied by the groom on the forehead between the hair partition of the bride. The bride then continues to wear sindoor throughout her married life.
2. Hair care (Kesh Sringar):
We now focus on the ‘Kesh’, or hair. The Indian bride embellishes her hair using fragrant flowers and glittering headpieces. Traditionally, the bride made three braids that represented three holy rivers, Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati, and the trinity of the Hindu gods Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh. The fragrance of flowers keeps the bride fresh throughout the day and her Indian bridal jewelry embellishes her hairdo, adding another layer of elegance and beauty to her overall look.
3. Maangtika
The part of the forehead where the maangtika rests is believed to be the home of Ajna Chakra or the third eye. When the bride wears the piece of Indian bridal jewelry on her special day, she is believed to be connected with her third eye and has the ability to control her emotions and activate her knowledge, wisdom, courage, and willpower.
4. Bindi
The bindi also takes us to the third eye. Bindi comes from the Sanskrit word bindu, which means ‘point’ or ‘dot’. The bindi is closely associated with improving concentration and retaining energy. It is one of the most popular adornments worn by the Indian bride and is known internationally.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/ce964de1142fea17e8d299b02ea6f214/d2e0160c14f4c377-98/s1280x1920/9a7aea49fafcacbcb6f8348201d46fc870b14509.jpg)
5.Kohl or Kajal
From the forehead, we move to the eyes. Kohl, kajal, surma, kanmashi, kaadige, kaatuka, and kan mai are some names for one of the oldest natural beauty products in the world. Kajal accentuates the eyes of the bride and is believed to ward off the evil eye in various cultures. The darkening around the eyes also protects the wearer from the harsh rays of the sun.
Kajal is an essential element of the solah shringar and makes the eyes look more prominent. It is undoubtedly a beautiful way to enhance the natural beauty of the bride.
6 .Karn Phool or Earrings
A wedding day look cannot be completed without a set of dangling earrings. Karn Phool is a Sanskrit term that translates to ‘flower of the ears’ and is an essential part of the solah shringar.
7 .Nath(nose ring)
The nose ring is another beautiful element of the Indian bride’s attire and is a symbol of valor, fertility, and spirituality. The large nose rings hooked onto the hair with a chain take the bride a step closer to creating her ideal look. It is one of the most ethnic elements of Indian bridal jewelry and a wedding day look is surely incomplete without it.
8 .Haar or Necklace
The one thing that brings the whole look together is the necklace. Necklaces are said to represent safety and abundance and are believed to help the wearer control their emotions better. Some necklaces feature specific motifs or gemstones that are believed to bring good luck and ward off evil spirits.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/5a1845dbae25d1108baba11ba8ee8ee1/d2e0160c14f4c377-86/s1280x1920/5350ad5b537d9df8e0635442170d716d9bd2a600.jpg)
9 .Bajuband
This element of traditional Indian bridal jewelry is worn on the upper arm. The bajuband is believed to keep evil spirits away and protects the wearer. The Indian bride can embellish her wedding outfit with all sorts of armbands that are encrusted with diamonds and other colorful gemstones.
10 .Bangles, Bracelets, Choodiyan
Bangles and the Indian bride are inseparable. They’re a part of traditional Indian bridal jewelry that a woman always wears. It is believed that bangles and bracelets bring health, luck, and prosperity to the wearer and are more than a jewelry item or accessory for the traditional Indian woman. There are various wedding ceremonies related to bangles and bracelets across cultures that show us their significance in Indian culture.
11 .Hathphool and Aarsi
The hathphool is a clever mix of a bangle and a ring. Bringing the best of both together, this element of traditional Indian bridal jewelry embellishes the hand and wrist of the bride. The interesting crossover of the two pieces surely adds more flavor to the wedding day look.
A thumb ring known as Aarsi is also worn by some brides. Aarsi contains a small mirror. This mirror allows the bride to catch a glimpse of the groom since she is covered in a veil and cannot see the groom’s face.
12 . Mehndi
Henna, commonly known as mehndi, is undoubtedly one of the most amusing parts of a traditional Indian wedding. It is believed that mehndi brings good luck and joy to the bride. The darkness of the mehndi represents the strength of the bond between the bride and the groom. The solah shringar of the bride is incomplete without her hands and feet embellished with beautiful mehndi designs that add to her overall wedding day look.

13 . Kamarband (waist band)
The use of the kamarband, or waistband, is scarce in North Indian weddings but it is an important part of a South Indian bride’s trousseau. The piece of Indian bridal jewelry is adorned with gemstones and is used to accentuate the female’s body and keep her bridal saree in place.
14 . Anklets and Toe Rings
Commonly known as payal and bichhu, these elements of traditional Indian bridal jewelry embellish the feet of the bride. Payals can be recognized by the beautiful chime sounds they make whenever the bride walks. Toe rings are seen as a sign of marriage and a bride wears them until the death of her husband.
15 . Itar
Itar is the perfume that a bride applies to freshen her aura and stay fragrant throughout her special day.
16. Wedding Outfit
Finally, the one thing that clubs every element together and brings the bride’s imagination to life is the wedding outfit. The traditional Indian bride wore the classic red wedding outfit but with the evolution of Indian weddings, other colors have started to take center stage as well.

Do people wear makeup (kajal, kohl, rouge, powder, etc.) either as an everyday thing or for special events? Does it differ between countries?
They do! I imagine Roseans wear eye makeup (if they're into it) every day and flowers during special occasions! They do very simple makeup in my mind.
I actually scrapped scenes of MC wearing flowers during chapter 3 lol I wrote it and even had one RO commenting on it but I felt embarrassed for some reason so I threw it and every bit where it appeared out. 😭😭😭 Huntermancers could've had a crumb...
Anyway! I imagine Vesphirians being much more into blushes and wearing very bright things so I guess eyeshadow, blushes, lipsticks, and all that!
