Uncovered scripts record Katie mentioning living in another small town with her family before moving to Home. She has spoken about having younger siblings before, but nothing else regarding her family or her life before coming to Home has been uncovered.

Katie is almost never seen without her bag full of random items. It was a running gag in the show that if anyone asked Katie for something, she would rummage in her bag for a moment before pulling out whatever they needed, regardless of how absurd the request. She is also known to carry things in her pockets at all times, and has said herself that she doesn’t own any clothing that doesn’t have pockets. In one script, she claims that she often sews on extra pockets to clothes herself. She frequents the bugdega, always searching for new things that catch her eye.

On the rare occasion that we saw Katie’s house, it was always filled with random items, scattered about seemingly at random. One recovered script involved several of the neighbors attempting to help her clean and organize her house, to no avail.

And here we have part 3 of my Buggybooz kitchen stuff recolors! Merry Holidays to you too! In this post we have the rest of the Shakerlicious deco objects (1), as well as a few choice recolors from Buggybooz’s Kitchen Klutter set (2) (the non-metallic stuff, because that was the point where I couldn’t stand doing ANY MORE). I highly recommend downloading the entire Shakerlicious set to go with these recolors because (if you notice the weird squares faintly poking out behind the mugs) the shadows on some of the Shakerlicious deco are referenced to some of the meshes in the Shakerlicious set, but I was never able to isolate which one(s). ALSO, the choppingboard isn’t a recolor, I just fixed the mesh so it pulls its colors from the Kitchen Basic counter (once again, my recolors are here (3) if you need them) like it was originally supposed to. And yes, because I just KNOW you were wondering... the cheese is recolored too. >.>

As usual, all recolors come in the 111 colors of the AKS Object Rainbow 3b (4). I own exactly none of them. To see what exactly all these colors are, where they are from, and who exactly were the talented artists that created them, please go here (5). (The color files are individually labeled with their original creator, palette, and name, but like usual I’ve probably mangled them beyond recognition by abbreviating everything.) Also, as usual, there are two versions of each mesh: in the first, all recolors are packaged individually, in the second (FF) they are packaged together in ONE package. Pick your preferred poison. >.<

Dag 17: a man a plan, Garda.

Lago di Garda. Het doel van de dag. Dat wil zeggen: cruise control aan. Sirmione is het plan want dat is het stadje dat het verst het meer ingaat. Het verste toepje heet Jamaica beach en daar willen we de zon zien ondergaan. Wat denk je, hebben ze het gehaald? Er waren de volgende hindernissen en belemmeringen on the road: 1. Kinderen die honger hebben. Nachtmerrie! We plunderen 's morgens de laatste restjes uit de frigo. Erg veel kan je er niet in stockeren en bovendien is de elektriciteit kostbaar in een camper. Er is zonne-energie maar wanneer we de frigo op gas zetten dan werkt hij het best. Dussss back to basic en nadenken wat het langst ongekoeld bewaart en wat het meest calorieën oplevert voor de minste plaats. Haha! Valt wel mee maar we moeten wel duidelijk meer shoppen dan 1 keer per week zoals thuis. En bovendien vergroot het nachtmerriegehalte bij dit punt nog even doordat we met twee kinderen moeten gaan shoppen. Elke ouder weet dat je ten stelligste moet vermijden om ook maar één kind in die kar te smijten. Nu zijn het er telkens twee. God sta ons bij! Punt 2: kennismaking met Italiaanse supermarkten. De aandachtige lezer las reeds dat Jesse en ik enorm graag in het buitenland naar de supermarkt gaan, we kunnen je bij deze verzekeren: De Ipercoop is van hoogstaand niveau! Uren dwaalden we tussen de rekken! Zeker 10 soorten burrata, parmegiano reggiano van alle leeftijden, Parmaham van duizend zwijntjes, pomodori in alle kleuren en vooral iets waar ik al vier jaar naar verlang: crema di parmegiano. Ik at dit vier jaar geleden op onze reis naar Parma en droom er sindsdien meerdere malen per jaar van. Het is een soort pasta van parmezaan met witte wijn en zonnebloemolie. Hemels ongezond! Vandaag was de dag dat we elkaar terug ontmoetten. De crema di parmegiano en ik. Twas liefde! Punt 3: zotten achter het Italiaanse stuur. Die Italiaanders rijden zot. Zotter. Zotst. We moesten door graanschuur en fruitgaard van Italië (Piemonte) en dit betekent veeeeel vrachtwagens dus ook erg traag op het derde vak... opnieuw een belemmering. Maar Sirmione lukte alvast. Toch om binnen te rijden. We passeerden zelfs het hotel waar we vier jaar geleden verbleven met Wout en Annelies. En dan bleek dat je nergens binnenmocht met de camper. Al zagen we dit pas na 20 min rondtoeren naar een parking toen we zagen dat we te lang zijn voor een parkeerplaatsje hier. Dom! Punt 4: parkeren met een camper en geld in een automaat krijgen. Zeker ook 1 uur verloren. De parking vinden was nog ok, maar we begrijpen echt geen snars van dat Italiaans en de automaat wilde onze kaart maar niet aanvaarden. Ook werd het nog eens bevestigd dat geen enkele Italiaan rondom ons ook maar een woord Engels kan en dat je erg veel klutters nodig hebt om een camper in Sirmione te parkeren. Punt 5: fietsen. We hebben al door dat fietsen een redding zijn in de stad. En ook deze keer gingen we fietsen naar het centrum. Fietsen op en van het fietsenrek halen, is dan wel weer veel tjoling. Opnieuw een goeie 20min. Merci dieudonné dat tegen de avond de withuiden niet meer ingesmeerd moeten worden, anders weer 15min. Het centrum van Sirmione was erg gezellig maar koppenlopen en toevallig of niet maar Jamaica beach (het doel weet je nog?) ligt helemaal aan de andere kant van het stadje. En toen? Hebben we het gehaald? Kijk zelf maar eens 🥰
