Wow, it's been a while huh? Sorry about that... I've been in quite the funk. Let's just say with a combination of artist block and mental health issues, it hasn't really been a good few years for my creative side. Anyway, a little doodle to get me back into things. Just wanted to draw Cerdian in a cute outfit. Getting used to my iPad because it's probably gonna be my main drawing tablet besides a sketch pad. It's a slow process because, like I said, it hasn't really been a good few years, but I'm working on it.

More rough, random sketches. So I’m kinda out of the loop, but I know Damian’s apparently hanging out with Jonathan and Chris is nowhere to be found. So in my little world, Chris and Damian get to be bffs instead and Jonathan is around the same age as Helena and they get to hang out (so ya know, Jonathan might be developing a little crush).

I redesigned Helena because I’m a fan of Eartha Kitt’s Catwoman. Though she kinda looks like Nell now, but I plan to work on my design on Nell as well.

Jai: Jenni! Jenni! It’s been a while! How have you been? I’ve missed you! You’ll never guess what happened the other day. Oh! Tell me about your latest adventure!

Jenni: Woah pipsqueak! This goes against our family, but slow down. I’m here for a while so no need to rush.

I’ve had this sitting in my WIP folder for a while. It’s kinda apparent that Irey adores Bart, both in canon and among fans. I just thought it’d be adorable if Jenni and Jai had the same relationship.

So drawing these two together has been on my list (as have a bunch of other things). Just thought they’d be close. Either platonic or as a couple, doesn’t matter. I can see it either way.

Though I’ve always liked the idea that AJ had a crush on Cerdian since they were little, but always knew Cerdian had a thing for Lian so it never went anywhere, but maybe when they’re older they explored a relationship because as I said, I think Cerdian still dated other people. Even though I like Cerdian and Lian, I like these two as well, and if SeaWeapons isn’t end game then it would be these two for me.

So I reblogged this post a few days ago, because I really liked it, but I mentioned in my tags that I kind of thought of Cerdian when I saw it. redtha mentioned I should draw him in a similar outfit and hair style, so I did. I think it turned out pretty good.

And since I always say that I like to think Cerdian's the most attractive of the NGTT (that's the general consensus among the members), I drew most of them admiring how pretty he is.

I like to think Lian and Sin are pretty close, but maybe that's just me.

Woot, I love drawing these two! Though you wouldn't know it by my sad lack of drawings in the past few months... So, Cerdian and Lian are older here so Lian isn't Red Cap anymore, but took the name Aresenal. I'm not sure about Cerdian, but I was kind of leaning towards the codename Ariel, based off the character in Shakespeare's play, The Tempest Damian may have helped with the codename. It was Ariel's magic that caused the tempest in the play, so it's kind of symbolic in a way that Cerdian's powers are greater than Garth's. Plus, the team can make The Little Mermaid references.

So, in my headcanon, the West Twins are big K-Pop fans. They love going to concerts all the time. Jai always makes sure to get a ticket it's not like he hacks his way into the system to make sure they're able to get one or anything, and Irey takes them there. It's one of the ways they bond.

Bart: Wearing that again, Squirt? Irey: What? They're comfier than some of my clothes! Bart: Haha, since you wear them more than me, go ahead and keep them.

Sorry this took a while to do... Unlike some people, I'm not a very fast drawer... But I hope you like it thekelpie!

On a side note, I had no idea jumper = sweater... In America, jumpers are dresses. And I just figured Bart would naturally want a hat and sweater in Speedster colors haha.

Anyway, that's really weird. So I'm off to possibly draw more. Hopefully I'll have costumed versions up soon. Not that I've been saying that since I drew this five month ago or anything.

Damian: Jai, I appreciate you're working hard, but next time, I expect to see you in training. Jai: U-uh...Yeah. S-sorry... Just may have a break in the case... Damian: Good. But you still need to practice your defenses. I can't afford to have you easily captured. Jai: Yeah. I know how much it worries you... Though not in the way I wish it would...

Dafudge is anatomy? So time for another NGTT Headcanon.

So in my mind palace, Jai is pansexual so he's fallen in love a lot. Not saying that he likes everyone he sees or that he's easy, but he just sees the person as the person and doesn't really care about anything else. That being said, being a member of the Teen Titans could be seen as a problem.

Considering he's on a team with a bunch of attractive and awesome people, among the members, Jai has had the most crushes/relationships with people on the team. Not necessarily at the same time or near the same time; he's not the type to just move from one person to another instantaneously, but just once in a while. And no, he hasn't dated/liked the whole team (because Irey is also on the team, and I'm not really a fan of incest), but all the other members date/like only one or two other members, if any at all. It's mainly because he's observant, likes little details, and is good at finding things (he is the team hacker after all), and all this goes into how he bonds with the other members, resulting in him liking some of them as more than friends.

All that does kind of tie into this picture. At one point, before Irey and Damian got together, Jai liked Damian. Problem was, he knew Irey liked him too, and Damian her (but at this point in time, the two didn't know it themselves). So instead of pursuing a relationship with the young Wayne himself, he sets the two up. But afterwards, Irey does find out that he liked him and feels pretty bad about it, because she didn't even know she liked Damian, and she thinks that he should've just gone for it himself because then she might never realize her feelings for him.

And Jai knew that, but he also knew Damian was better for her, and it was probably just a crush on his end anyway, and her happiness was more important because he can she how happy she is when she's with him.

Besides, he at least got to kiss Damian before she did.
