There are no hard feelings at all in this conversation they’re having. In fact, she even comes to learn a little more about the wife of the young tiger. The girl is reticent, full of uncertainty about herself, and is still coming to terms with the changes that come with her marriage – reminiscent of her own experiences years ago, with some differences of course. From what Akihime has briefly shared, Sanada Yukimura is a kind husband, albeit a little absent in their married life. She doesn’t want to be quick to judge however, as she has no more knowledge regarding the further details of life within the Sanada household. Moreso, it appears that Akihime’s previous life spent in the company of the Toyotomi men was a stark contrast to her present life. It’s the lack of feminine influence that shapes her character to be more emotionally withdrawn, a little stiff even.

“I see…” Though her interest is particularly roused in knowing more about her familial origins, it doesn’t seem to be the best time to question that for now. “You don’t need to apologize for that, Akihime. I learned a lot about you today. No offense taken.”

The absence of a feminine figure in her life does somewhat concern her, though. Megohime is lucky that her mother was at least still around and would occasionally pay her a visit to Oshu. On the other hand, Lady Kita of the Katakura clan would be the closest person around she has as an older sister figure, more or less ( ah, the woes of being an only child ).

“…that said, while I’m not in the place to comment anything about your family and marriage, do you perhaps have… something to ask to me?” It’s been a pleasant moment for her to get to know each other better during their little afternoon tea, and it’s only fair for her to give Akihime her turn. “Maybe I can give you advice if you need it.” Just to offer her a little gist of what their next conversation could lead to.

   "You must forgive me, Lady Megohime,“ she bows, and the brief time of obscuring her face at an angle allows her the smallest respite to compose herself before she is facing her again. "I am… truly not accustomed to not having reservations in every conversation. It is not how I was brought up, and while…" Come on. Try it.       "While Sanada-san has been very welcoming and open to me,” ah, there are next times, “I’m still learning to unwind. I am trying to get in touch with a more relaxed version of myself as time passes, as dust settles.” Her cup does not rock, her dishes do not clatter. Akihime breathes a small sigh of relief, and the tension slides away carefully. “He has been very kind… when he has the time,” always distracted and focused on other things. Where it once gave her relief to move and see as needed for her mission, it now left her wondering where exactly a wife to Sanada Yukimura fits into Kai's day to day. 

   It's  all  so  new. 

   "My current life is a foreign contrast to everything before I arrived in Kai. Unease comes more naturally to me than trust does... and I apologize once again if I have given offense for this." Though, one wonders how far Megohime's conservative ideals can flex. She isn't keen to test it.       "My mother was not in my life long... and most of my upbringing was among the tactical elites of the Toyotomi and not learning many... wifely things, not that he really seems to mind." But, it does leave her with no roadmap. It shows in how she searches the floor and her cup for some idea of it, apprehensive what she'll find in Megohime's face.

I finally finish my hair references for my fic The Secret Language of Flowers!

They're 3 years older than in InaGo so they have a few changes in the main hairstyle (front), while I tried another hairstyle in the perfil drawing. I order them by the ships that appear and that I like (but Alpha&Gamma, I don't ship them but they were alone so, I put them together) I know that some of them are very crack, but I love them anyways :,) You can find the story >>HERE<<

Little KyouHaku Comic I've been working on it since March..and still working on it. It was inspired by the little interaction between Hakuryuu and Fake!Tsurugi. Hakuryuu asked him to have a match and, of course, the alien didn't know their relationship and answered Tsurugi "Why should I...?"/"Why me?", Hakuryuu was speechless, answered "You-...No. It's nothing" and their combo ended there. I believe Hakuryuu realized that he wasn't Tsurugi but, part of me loves the angst so....yay.
