Kato was the oldest daughter of Tonowari and Ronal.
She was their pride and joy; she was to be the next Olo'eyktan of the Metkayina clan. The First Female Olo'eyktan.
But Kato couldn't become Olo'eyktan until she had a mate, her parents had tried to push other males and females her way, but she didn't like them.
She felt as if she needed to wait for someone, so she waited, and her parents understood.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When Jake Sully and his family arrived, Kato had showed the childern their ways of the water, she had gotten very close to Lo'ak.
She had jokling told Lo'ak and her siblings that Lo'ak was her son and Lo'ak didn't mind since he had been attention starved and touch starved, something that Kato didn't miss.
When Kato found out that Lo'ak had bonded with Payakan, she had instantly standed up against her father and mother, saying how Lo'ak had every right to bond with any animal since Kato herself had given him permission to bond.
Tonowari and Ronal sighed, if their daughter had given Lo'ak permission it was something not to go against.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When they had gone to war against the sky people, the fake na'vis had surived and it was deemed by Kato they were to be given a chance.
Neytiri had hissed at Kato, Ronal had instantly stood infront of her daughter and crouched down slighting and hissed at Neytiri, "My daughter is the future Olo'eyktan, she had taken in your son, and has told me to give you a chance, she has fought in your war, a war you brought to my home! Have some respect!"
Neytiri didn't say anything else knowing Ronal was right, "Jake Sully had a second chance, and you do not give this boy Spider nor the sky na'vis a second chance?" Kato had slowly moved her mother behind her and stood in front of her as she looked at Neytiri and Jake, "Both of you should be ashamed, you both had a second chance and now you don't want to give them one? Your daughter," Kato pointed at Kiri, "Is from a sky person, you Jake Sully, are a sky person, and Spider is a sky person, and has not been given a chance?"
Jake and Neytiri didn't say anything, Kato was right, Jake had a second chance, Kiri was from Grace a human.
It wasn't fair but it was fight they would lose.
Kato and her parents came to an agreement to wait for the sky na'vis to wake up to see if they deserved a second chance.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When Prager, Z-Dog, Walker, Ja and Fike woke up there were in some grass home with seaweed wrapped around their wrists and to a pole.
They had pulled and bit on the seaweed trying to see if they would rip but it didn't.
A slight strong but chubby female came in with Jake Sully and another female that was pregnant and another male next to the chubby female, with two warriors.
"We can let you out of those," The chubby female began walking towards them, "But under one condition."
"What?" Prager was the one to answer because he knew if one of his teammates answered then they would say it rudely.
"You learn the way of the water, understand our culture, learn our language, and understand Eywa." The chubby female had looked at Prager up and down, something called out to her about him.
The recoms looked at one another, communicating, Prager looked back at the female, "What happens if we don't want to learn?"
The female chuckled and looked down before looking back at Prager, "It would be ashame to kill such a pretty face."
Prager, although was threatened, blushed, and once again looked back at his teammates who nodded their heads.
Prager looked back at the chubby female, "We'll learn."
The female smiled and nodded to the warriors and the warriors untied the recoms who stood and looked at the female.
The chubby female smiled, specifically at Prager, "I'm Kato."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Prager wasn't stupid, slow maybe, but not stupid, he knew Kato was courting him.
Ja and Fike had teased Prager over and over, Walker and Z-Dog would tease him once in a while but not as much as Ja and Fike.
Prager had sighed as he walked in the water, he had quickly adapted to the way of water, along with his teammates.
They had learned so much and grown so much that they didn't want to go back to their old ways.
Prager had gotten into the water and began to swim; he had come to enjoy the ocean.
"Enjoying the ocean?" Kato had sneaked up behind Prager.
Prager had slightly jumped when Kato announced herself.
"The water is always warm." Prager had swum back as Kato had joined him and swam to him, "And beautiful."
"I see something more beautiful than the ocean." Kato had swum up to Prager who blushed and swam closer to Kato.
"And whats that?" Prager asked as he looked at Kato.
Without missing a beat, "You." Kato had grabbed onto Prager and kissed him.
Prager had slightly gasped but kissed Kato back. He put his hands on her waist as Kato's hands were around Prager's head.
Kato detached herself from Prager who whined, she had chuckled, "Be mine."
Prager nodded, "Yes."
Kato had instantly kissed Prager, happy he was hers now.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Fuck!" Prager was on his back as Kato bite his neck, leaving her teeth marks on him, his orgasm so close.
Kato had completely stopped moving her hips as Prager tried to make her move faster with his legs that were wrapped around her waist.
"No! Please D-don't s-stop!" Prager begged, "Plea-"
Prager moaned out as he felt a stinging sensation on his thigh.
"Look at my little whore," Kato whispered into Prager's ear as she kissed his cheek that had his tears, "Begging me for my cock."
Prager whined as he once again felt Kato move her hips slowly, "Please."
Kato clicked her toungue as Prager whined, "Your doing so good, you can hold on for me."
Prager whined as, "I need more!"
Kato had once again brought her hand down on Prager's thighs, spanking him.
"I'am giving you more, Ma tìyawn(My love)." Kato moved her strap-on in and out, making sure she hit Prager's spongy spot.
Prager moaned out as he felt Kato hit his spot.
"Imagine Ma tìyawn(My Love), someone walking in and seeing you on my cock, begging for more." Kato's hips moved at a normal pace instead of slow.
Prager moaned out more, imagining what Kato told him.
"As if I'll," Kato grunted when she felt Prager tighten his legs, "Let someone see you. Your mine, all mine, your soul, your body, your mind, your heart," Kato had moved faster, "All mine."
"YOURS! ALL YOURS!" Prager had screamed out as he had slightly reached his climax but as fast as it came it went away.
Prager began to cry, "Please! Please! Let me cum!"
Kato had kissed Pragers tears away, "Shhh," Kato had given Prager a sloppy kiss, "You've been so good, darling. Such a good slut."
Prager whined as he moved his hips.
"I'll let you cum." Kato had moved her hips in a fast pace as Prager had moaned out.
Kato had bit into Prager's neck once more and Prager moaned out for the village to hear, "Kato!"
Kato had slowed her pace before completely stopping, she had slowly pulled out of Prager as he whined, his eyes closed.
Kato lovelying kissed Prager's cheek as she stood up and grabbed a towel and a bowl of water.
She had cleaned Prager as she knew that from their activitys he wouldnt want to get up.
Kato finished cleaning Prager and changed him and did the saem to herself and layed next to Prager on their hammack.
Prager whined and moved closer to Kato as he put his head on her chest, kissing her boobs.
Kato had waited till Prager's breathing slowed down before she kissed Prager's head and closed her eyes as she whispered, "Oe tìyawn nga." (I love you)
Neteyam x OC Na'vi
Aouthers note: Its a litte bit suggestive but not smut. I tried to not write this so angsty. BUT it has posesive neteyam!
✧・゚: ✧・゚: :・゚✧:・゚✧✧・゚: ✧・゚: :・゚✧:・゚✧✧・゚: ✧・゚: :・゚✧:・゚✧✧・゚: ✧・゚: :・゚✧
Saying Neteyam te Suli Tsyeyk'itan was obsessed with you was an understatement.
I could feel Neteyam’s eyes staring right at you from behind. We had gone hunting or at least try. Neteyam made it very difficult to focus. I could feel his breath on my neck. For many years I've gotten a sense that Neteyam had taken interest in me. At first, it was just kind smiles but now he follows me like a lost pululukan pup. even though he swears he hates me.
 “Ma Neteyam please give me space. I cannot hunt with you breathing down my neck.” he backs up and sits down on the branch we stood on. I pull my arrow back, breathe in and shoot. A clean kill. I jump off the branch onto another until it’s a safe enough distance to let my feet hit the forest ground. I kneel down to the Hexapade. I start my prayer “Oel ngati kameie, ma tsmukan, ulte ngaru seiyi irayo. Ngari hu Eywa salew tirea, tokx 'ì'awn slu Na'viyä hapxì.” (I see you, brother, and I thank you. Your spirit will run with Eywa, while your body will remain and become part of the People.) I tie up the creature's feet together and put them on my back. “Ma Kalin I could have done better. '' Neteyam said, following me back to the village. “Neteyam don’t you have duties to tend to?” I scold
“But, I love hanging out with you,” he said sarcastically
“Duty first kä.” I point forward to signal him to leave. I watch him walk away into the crowd of men waiting for him. I walk towards the ‘emyu so they can prepare the meal for dinner tonight. As I'm walking I'm stopped by Kato. He looks down at me from his height and smiles.
“Do you need help there little lady?”
“Ma Kato I’m fine, leave me alone,” I say, rolling my eyes. At my age, it is very common for me to be looking for a mate. What I really want is to explore the forest and eat fruit. Men often tried to pursue my hand but I ignored them all. My father is Eyktanay one step down from
olo’eyktan . That means many men come to me trying to get a higher status.
“You should really loosen up Ma Kalin,” he says, throwing his hands in the air. I knew immediately that Neteyam was watching. I knew that he was very possessive of me even though we were not even promised to each other. I thought to myself maybe I should let him be mad. You knew it was stupid playing with him but, I also seemed so much fun. So I walk shoulder to shoulder with Kato and giggle at his unfunny jokes. We make it to the kitchen and part ways.
“This is a fine size Kalin.” one of the cook's compliments.
“Really Neteyams words made me feel like it was too small” I sigh, sitting down next to a fire that roasts teylu.
“Don't worry child, it's perfect now run along and be young. Kiri stopped by asking for you. You should pay her a visiting child.”
“Irayo”
I walk towards Kiri's muri one my way I pass the men tending to their Ikran. I see Neteyam and ignore him for Kato. From the corner of my eye, he's scowling as I walk by. I make it to the muri and enter. “Honey I’m home ” I called out to Kiri.
“I was hoping you’d get my word,” she said, motioning me to sit down. Kiri and I have been friends for many years now. Our friendship began when we were at the age of training. We bonded with our Ikran on the same day.
“So I heard you hunted with my brother this morning.” she giggled. Suggesting something much more.
“Kiri, I'm not interested in your brother,” I said. The thought of  Neteyam being my mate doesn't seem half bad. He’s a mighty warrior and a very skilled hunter. He was one of the youngest Na’vi in our clan to make a clean kill. On the other hand, if we were to ever give it a chance he would need to mature a lot more. Even after all that it would complicate things between our families, that is something I hold very dear to me.
“You never know Kalin. Daughter of  Eyktanay son of olo’eyktan. It's as if eywa herself is writing your love story.”
“Thanks but no thanks, Kiri. I have other plans.”
“Like what? dance around the forest naked and eat fruit.”
“Maybe I will Kiri. Maybe I’ll become the village crazy lady,” I say, slapping her shoulder. Thought that idea didn't sound so bad.
“I'd like to see that.” Neteyam chuckled. He towered above me. My Eywa he's easy on the eyes. I was taking him in looking up and down. I feel like hours have gone by of me gazing at him.
“Don't forget to blink Kalin.” he teased my Eywa he knew how to get on my nerves even if it were the tiniest thing. You turn around facing the fire. You closed your eyes seeing red and orange flash up and down. You got closer, feeling the warmth make your cheeks red. You felt something you haven't in weeks, inner peace. Like everything in this world, it must come to an end. I'm interrupted by Neteyam sitting behind me so that I'm now in between his legs. He set his head on my back.
“Kiri come here for a moment my sweet child” their mother yells outside of the muri. Leaving Neteyam and me all alone. I felt the coldness of his body. It feels so good but my words betray me.
“Neteyam get off. Your body is so cold,” I whine like a child. I don't know why I said that. I know we hate each other, but we have our cute moments sometimes. When we're alone I could call him a friend but nothing more. I quickly reminded myself why we hated each other. We were rivals. We competed in everything, Hunting, flying, and sometimes swimming.
“Whatever.” he rolled his eyes, getting up. I watched him walk toward the wall where he hung his knife. He brought it over to the fire for light and started sharpening it. I watched his muscles flex as he stoked the knife back and forth. My ears pull back as I hear someone call my name.
“Kalin! I thought I’d find you here.” I turn around to see Kato standing in the doorway. I push myself off the muri floor and walk towards him.
“What are you doing here?” I question.
“Your mom asked me to come to fetch you for dinner,” he explained. I hadn't noticed until now how empty my stomachache was. I set my hand on my stomach feeling its emptiness.
“Well, let us go Kato” I grab his hand and say my goodbyes.
~~~
I watch her walk away with that skxqwng. She knew what she was doing that woman drove me absolutely insane. As much as I hated her I loved her. All day she teased me pretending to not notice me or flirt with that skxqwng. I feel my teeth clench together and sharpen my knife more intensely.
“Bro if you sharpen that knife anymore the blade will become useless.” Lo’ak teased “I can see you are  jealous of Kato. Just go to her skxgwng.” he complained
“If it were that easy Lo’ak. She's so busy being in love with the forest she barely has time for me,” I said feeling defeated. I lay flat on the floor and spread my limbs wide.
“My big bro killer of sky people is scared of a small girl” he laughs into his hands. “I overheard her father talking to dad about how he's going to announce he will be excepting courtings for his daughter. If that makes you feel any better.” my heart melts into my body. I can finally have a chance with her. I hop up into my feet.
“Lo’ak comes, let's go to dinner.” I grab him by his hair dragging him. Not forgetting a small box holding a hand-crafted necklace.
~~~
I sit in front of the fire next to my father. On my other side is Kato. I finished my food a while ago, but mother said she had an announcement to make and wanted me to listen. I sat impatiently leaning my head on Kato’s shoulder. He tilts his head down to talk to me
“Your puppy is here.” he points to Netaym, practically dragging Lo’ak into the circle. He looks surprisingly happy, his braids swinging with every step.
“He’s not my puppy” I laughed, shoving myself off his shoulder. I feel a vibration through the ground. I turn around and see a drummer getting everybody ready for my father's speech
“The beloved people I have an announcement to make.” he shouts holding up a wooded cup of mead “I come before you to announce my daughter Kalin te ketsuktswa’ loran’ite will be available for a suiter. She has proven herself to the people now prove yourself to her,” he shouts as people cheer on drinking from his cup. I cannot believe them. I can't believe they would announce my availability to everybody and not consider even talking to me about it. As I'm sitting there is a wave of Na’vi men flocking to my father asking for his permission to pursue me. I look at them annoyed, they wouldn’t even see the light of day.
“Did you know about this ma Kato?” I point at his chest not wanting to look him in the eyes. I feel nothing but rage. Why wouldn't he warm me? Did he not tell me to get his own advantage in pursuing my heart? I stand up and turn around quickly I hit a hard chest with my forehead. I step back thinking to myself damn”. I look up and see Neteyam, you broke eye contact for just a second, but his left index finger lifted your chin up, making me meet his gaze again.
“Where you going my sweet girl?” he chuckles oh my Ewya I turned a bright red.
“It is getting quite loud and I'm tired I was about to walk home” I blush looking to the right. He took my hand but someone else grabs my other.
“I was just about to walk her home,” Kato said through his teeth. His grip was tight. His face seems unbothered though.
“Well, I got it from here buddy.” Neteyam passive aggressively said shoving the Na’vi in the chest with one hand. Neteyam then intertwines our fingers and starts walking into the forest where his personal muri hangs.
“Ma Neteyam this isn't the way to my muri,” I shout, he ignores me and continues to take me deeper into the forest. “Ma Neteyam why are you taking me to your muri?’
“Will you just come? I just want to hang out with you, if you do I’ll give you a reward sweet girl,” he shouts as he climbs the tree holding up his home. He makes it look so easy. I struggle to climb up the vines in such darkness. I got to the entrance and he holds out his hand that I gladly take. I walk past him into his spacious room. Neteyam watches my every move, licking his lips.
“So what did you want to give me?” I questioned tilting my head and giving him softer eyes. I knew exactly what I was doing. I was going to drive him crazy. Now that I can be courted, lots of men want what's ‘his’.
“I had kiri make you this” he hands me a beautifully crafted necklace. It was made from clear crystals with a deep blue hue. Never has anyone gifted me anything as beautiful as this.
“Ma Neteyam it is beautiful,” I say giving him the necklace back and turning around signaling him to put it on. I pull my hair to the side and he brings the necklace in front of me to clasp it. He brings his face closer to my neck. He grabs my waist from behind bringing me closer. I tilt my head back giving him more room to scent me.
“Im going to do some really bad things to you ma Neteyam,” I said gasping for air, it's all going to plan.
“Yeah? What are you gonna do to me sweet girl?” he chuckles into my ear. His voice vibrates into my ear and straight between my legs.
“I'm going to drive you crazy ma Neteyam.” “Oh? But you already have my sweet girl” with that he leads me to his hammock. He lays down putting his hands behind his head. “Come sit.” he takes one hand to pat his hip. I get into the hammock straddling him. “Atta girl” he chuckles, suddenly feeling more heat within I lay flat on his chest wrapping my arms under his back. He pets my head till I inevitably fall asleep.
~~~
I woke up before the sun had risen. Neteyams hands were wrapped around my waist tightly. I pry myself out of his grip. I turn around, saying goodbye with a kiss on the forehead not wanting to wake him. I make my way down the tree as I'm walking to the village I hear a twig snap. Startled I turn around, but I see nothing. Scared I run back into the village. “Ma Kalin where were you last night!? I was worried sick!” I look forward to seeing my mother. I walk closer so that she can hear me properly. “Umm…I was with Neteyam sa’un.” I say looking down at the forest floor not wanting to make eye contact. A fiery heat forms in my throat as she opens her would to say her next words. “Did anything happen my child?” she smirks
“Ew, mom he's just a friend. I don't want to talk to you about this. Plus nothing happened, he just had a gift for me.” I place my hand on the beautiful necklace. She stands in front of me now examining it. “My child these stones are extremely rare I've seen nothing like these. Neteyam must be interested in you. He’ll make a fine mate my child.”
“Sa’un can we not talk about this,” I whine dropping my shoulders. My mother always pressured me to find a mate. She told me ‘it is better to start early and have much history’ or whatever that means. “If we must my child. I was looking for you because Kiri calls for you.” she shoos me away in the direction of her muri. As I’m walking I hear heavier footsteps, I turn the face of the na’vi behind me. It's Kato, he looks tired and out of breath. “Why must you always be around me when you are unwanted ma Kato.” I sigh into my hands. “I was taking a walk with someone and see you leave Neteyams muri. Don't tell you mated with that guy ma Kalin.” he seemed genuinely concerned I expected him to be jealous. “I didn't mate with him ma Kato.” why is everybody asking me this oh my Eywa? I try to walk faster but he's always there.
As I make it to the muri I hear kiri rummaging through some baskets. “Ma Kiri I’m home,” I yell extending my arms out for a hug. We hug and she grabs my shoulders looking into my eyes. “You’ve been somewhere deep into the forest.” she sniffs my hair and then moves to my hand “With my brother EW!” she rolls her eyes as she always does. “You know what happens when two na’vi are all alone in the forest” Lo’ak jokingly says getting out of his hammock. “What is it pick on Kalin day!?” I cry throwing my hands up in defeat. I lay down sprawled out on the floor feeling the vibrations of the forest. “Lo’ak come were going hunting.” I hear nonother then than Kato himself. Though he's not calling for me so I don't bother moving from my position. Everybody leaves including Kiri now I'm really left alone. My thoughts have become much too loud for my own liking. My eyes close and everything goes dark.
~~~
I woke up and she was gone. I secretly watch her walk out the door My heart yearns for her. I wish that she would just give in, I need her like the air I breathe. I needed a way to push her into my arms. I know she likes it when I chase, but I feel like we've been running to nowhere. With that, I jump out of my bed and start the fire to heat up my morning tea. I walk to the entrance of my muri I fetch fire but and startled to see a young Na’vi woman. It is Norlor, my ex-girlfriend. We broke up months ago so why was she here?
“Ma Norlor what are you doing here you shouldn’t be here. Go leave now!” I shout pointing towards the forest. She ignores me and sits on a table by the fire. My mind starts to wonder why is she acting like this.
“Ma neteyam you look so handsome. Roumar has it that you're wanting to mate with Kalin. Is this true?” she asks tilting her head.
“Yes, this is true what does it matter to you?” I question frustrated, she lifts herself off the table and walks closer to me. She stops inches away from my face.
“You're gonna help me get Kato.” she grabs my face. “He's paying too much attention to your little girlfriend and I want it to stop.” she spits fire from her mouth.
“Now what should I do that?” I say grabbing her arm and leading her to the doorway. I wanted her out if anybody saw me with her again it could spread. The last thing I want is for Kalin to hear I was with another girl after last night.
“Just think about it Neteyam. I hear Kalin can be very jealous. We all know she's interested in you.” she shrugs knowing she was right “she just needs the right push. Come with us to hunt tonight. Flirt with me at dinner, complement the size to pray I catch, and give me slight innocent touches.” she says getting quiet and quieter as she climbs down the tree holding my muri. I go back inside pouring hot water into a wooden mug. This plan might actually work it's crazy of me to do, but anything for my girl.
~~~
The sound of people singing and hooves woke me from my slumber. You shot up, bringing your knees to your chest, hugging them. I look around to find anybody but, nothing. I push myself up from where I lay for apparently many hours. I walk outside to find myself standing in the night sky. I thought about Neteyam and his bioluminescent freckles. I wonder where he is? I climb down from the tree and land on the soft grass. Making my way to the nightly feast the nose gets louder and louder. I search for kiri in the crowd of many na’vi.
“Ma Kalin over here!” she says waving her hands in the air. A smile forms on my face as I make my way to her. I can feel many eyes of na’vi men looking at me some even point.
“Why didn’t you wake me ma Kiri?”
“You looked at peace.” she was right, a light reflecting off of something caught my eye. I turn my head to see Neteyam walking with his ex-girlfriend. My Neteyam walked with her laughing. The conversation was obviously very amusing because she slaps his chest with her hand. I knew what that meant I was also one who used that flirting tactic. She wanted what was mine. I was not about to let that happen. I stand up and walk over to Kato. he was sitting around other men telling stories about the hunting trip.
“Ma Kato will you come to sit by me?” it wasn't a question. The look that I gave him he knew. As I lend out a hand to help him up his friends speak.
“Go get it, Ma Kato”
“That's my boy”
“You better watch out for neteyam hell skin you alive.”
I bring him to where I was sitting though Kiri had run off somewhere, probably into the forest.
“Is there a reason why you brought my over here little lady?” he chuckles placing his elbows on his knees. “Get your girl,” I say angrily pointing and Neteyam and his ex. “I'm with her right now, what are you talking about?” god he's so annoying.
I sigh and coldly say “Look Kato I’m going, to be honest with you we will never be. I don’t even want to mate with anybody, but if it's anyone it's him.”
“I know but it was worth a try. Why do you think Neteyam is with her? That guy just wants everything I want.”
“Go get her, tell her how you feel ma, Kato. Shell never know if you don't speak it into existence.” I should really take my own advice. These past few months Neteyam has not once left my mind. After last night how could I not be in love with him? He showed me the softness I so crave. Being a huntress most na’vi treat you very toughly. My thoughts are interrupted by Kato stomping over to Norlor. I watch him grab her wrist leading her to a pa’li. My attention is brought back to where the girl once sat. instead of his eyes, it’s Neteyams eyes that I meet. Still angry with him I glair. I point at him then and me lastly at the forest. I get up from where I sat and walked into the brush where we could be in privacy. Not long after Neteyam appears from out of the leaves. Before he can say anything I bring my palm up to his shoulder and shove him.
Then I snapped “Why were you with that girl ma Neteyam?” “I thought you guys broke up?”
“She just wanted tips on hunting is that so wrong?” he was dodging my question, I don't have time for his crazy games. I walk past him making sure my shoulder bumps into him. Before I know it he grabs my arm and shoves my back into a tree. He has me trapped. My eyes don't dare to look into his eyes, but his right index finger lifted your chin up, making you meet his gaze.
“Is my sweet girl jealous?” he taunts
“No! I'm just concerned for you Ma Neteyam. It's almost like you've gone crazy” I spit crossing my arms a little tiger than usual.
“Kalin cut the shit” he shouts “I've tried everything to get your attention what am I doing wrong?” he shouted maybe loud enough for other people to hear. I knew he didn't care Neteyam was a very passionate man. I gulped not wanting to use the wrong words. I knew I needed to tell the truth.
“I'm scared Neteyam…” his eyes soften grabbing onto my cheeks “if we give a relationship a try what happens if it doesn't work out? Everything I care for changes. My friends, my family, and my forest will all be different.” I now cry. Neteyam now inching in even closer to me  “ oh Ma Kalin, you don't have to worry about that. That will never happen. Just give us a chance.” he smiles making my heart flutter. I look up into his amber eyes and grab his cheek pulling him closer to break the distance. I kiss was exchanged
“Is this okay, sweet girl?” he kindly asks “yes.” all I say leading him to suck your lips nibbling just a bit, he places his arms around your hips and pulled you close.
“Take me back to your muri Ma Neteyam…” I whisper in his ear, although it was more of a moan.

Shizune, to Tsunade: Have you heard? Apparently, some idiots tried to fight a squid.
Sakura and Ino walking in covered in ink: Well maybe the squid was being a dick.
Tsunade, sighing and pulling out the sake: Did you win? Or do I need to make the squid my apprentice instead of you?

Angel Sanctuary Re-Read Volume 4
In the destroyed Tokyo, Kira is relieved that his father is gone on a business trip only to find him in the rubble, badly injured and more than glad that his son is alive and well. Not for long anymore however, because he gets caught in Setsuna's rage and badly injured himself. Setsuna in the meantime escapes into a fantasy world. A world in which he and Sara aren't related, where Kira never got possessed by the ghost that follows Alexiel and where all the people that died thanks to Rosiel are alive. But Kira is calling for him, the real Kira, and Setsuna notices the differences. He forces himself out of his fantasy and also gets broken out of his rage by Kira's voice. But it's too late. Tokyo is destroyed, Sara is dead and Kira is about to die because the borrowed body is about to give up. Right at this moment, Adam Kadamon appears and freezes time, shortly after Sara's death, telling Setsuna his role. He also tells Setsuna to break the crystal that houses Kira's soul and send him back to where he came from. Setsuna on the other hand is not having any of this. He heals Kira and then wants to go to Hades to get Sara's soul back. Nobody is seperating him and his love, not even death! So, Setsuna puts the blade Nanatsuya (the real body of Kira btw) in his chest, he has to find Sara in the span of seven days though or he dies. Also when the sword gets removed. Fun. We cut to Rosiel and Katan. Rosiel saved Katan from destruction (Kirie died of course, being the closest when Setsuna went berserk) and punishes him for being selfish. Katan is still badly hurt. Rosiel wants to heal him with his cells (which would make Katan into a braindead servant in time), but Katan refuses. Because he is the only angel that is loyal to Rosiel because of his own free will. Rosiel has a crisis in the meantime, because he isn't pretty. He's trash. The only pretty thing that he ever created was indeed Katan. These two have such a complicated relationship, I adore it. In the end, Rosiel forces his cells down Katan's throat... Setsuna arrives in Hades and gets a guide. He learns that Sara's soul is to be sacrificed to the world tree because of her great sin. I don't have to say what the sin is, do I? Anyway, it turns out that Setsuna's guide is someone we know. Remember Kato, the guy that Alexiel killed after Rosiel made him into a golem? Yeah, it's him. The following part is very funny in a black kind of humour way. Anyway, Setsuna and Kato are on their way. Rosiel takes over heaven in the meantime which makes Sefie furious. He has to make sure to cement his power and position... But Rosiel lets someone attack Metatron and steps in as the hero, which earns him the trust and admiration of everybody. In Hades, we learn that Kato actually shall betray Setsuna. Instead of bringing him to Sara, he is instructed to push Setsuna into Yggdrasil. Kato does this so that he won't get into hell... And now Rosiel angsts over Katan who refuses to wake up. Hnngh, these two, these two will be the death of me! Back in Hades Setsuna follows a shape that looks like Sara, but oopsie, she wants to kill him! But in reality, she was a ghost controlled by a strange mask. Setsuna calms the soul of the girl down and then the mask lays itself on Kato, but he isn't really aware of it. Hm, that will be pain. And in heaven Sefie wants to get dirt on Rosiel and instructs his men to steal the coffin with Katan, to find out what it is inside. Well, Katan has other plans and uses them as food which delights Rosiel. And exactly then the volume ends. Only four volumes and so much stuff happened already! Wild!

Patalliro! Stage Play Returns for The Third Time in January 2021
    Following the very successful first two shows in 2016 and 2018, the stage play adaptation of Mineo Maya's long-running gag manga series Patalliro! is confirmed to have its third show "Kiri no London Airport" (London Airport in the fog) in January 2021. As the title suggests, it is based on the long episode of the same name included in the manga's 12th tankobon volume published in April 1982, which has been often chosen as one of the best episodes in the 42-year-old manga series.
   The first stage play adaptation of the manga was performed in December 2016. Thanks to its great success, the second play based on another popular episode, "Stardust Project" in the manga's fifth volume, followed in March 2018.
  "Stage Play 'Patalliro!' - Kiri no London Airport -" is scheduled to be performed at The Galaxy Theater in Tokyo from January 21 to 31, 2021. The writer and director team of the first two plays, Tetsuhiro Ikeda and Kensaku Kobayashi returns again. And 30-year-old Ryo Kato is set to reprise his role as the title character. Meanwhile, all cast members except him will be changed.
    Message from Ryo Kato:
  "Ladies and gentlemen, the wait is over!!! Thanks to everyone's voice wanting for more sequel, it will return as the new 'Patarillo!' Thank you so much. While including what we created in the previous troupe, I'm going to devote myself to the art form so that I can create a new stage play 'Patarillo!' along with the new troupe!!! Papan ga Pan♪"

Mokushiroku Alice 3
Tumblr media
Author: Takaya Kagami
Illustrator: Yuki Kato
Label: Fujimi Fantasia Bunko
Release Date: 19 July 2014
My Score: 3 out of 5 eternal labyrinths
The first part of this volume is spent resolving the cliff-hanger at the end of the last one. You know, Kiri betraying the gang and stabbing Shinnosuke while Gunjou turns into an eternal labyrinth. At the start of this volume, Shinnosuke wakes up, having seemingly been in a coma for a month and is saved by a still infected Gunjou. He cures Gunjou using the sword he got last volume and we find out what happened to Shiro and the others after the stabbing and that Gunjou’s labyrinth is somehow connected to Saki’s, Shinnosuke’s lttle sister, labyrinth. So almost all of this volume is just about Shinnosuke and Gunjou interacting and they are still so lacking in chemistry that it is really dull to read. They do have some good interactions but it falls flat overall for me and the romantic implications of their scenes certainly doesn’t help matters.
That aside, it’s an entertaining enough volume and the cliff-hanger ending would work really well if this wasn’t the final volume in the series. You can tell that Kagami was under the impression that there would a fourth volume by reading the afterword where they talk about how the first three volumes have just been a set-up and the “real” series starts next volume. So what happened? I’m not sure because, as far as I can tell, an official announcement was never made. I don’t think the publisher would have cancelled the series suddenly because Kagami seems to be an experienced and reliable writer for Fujimi Fantasia Bunko. My best guess is that Kagami underestimated the amount of time they needed to put in to work on Owari no Seraph/Seraph of the End but I don’t know for sure. I don’t think we will get a continuation because I just don’t think the series was popular enough for the publisher to ask for a come-back.
If the series ever did get a continuation, I would probably read it because I do think that this series could have been really interesting and I would have been interested in seeing the consequences of Shinnosuke curing Gunjou. I doubt that the people in this world would believe that Gunjou is harmless and, if they didn’t kill her on the spot, she would likely be imprisoned and studied and what would happen to Shinnosuke? What he did would probably be considered treason and it would have been interesting seeing how they would have dealt with him.
For the seires overall, I don’t think it’s worth reading in it’s current state, unless you’re already a Kagami fan and are determined to read all of their series. A lot of plotlines are left unresolved by this volume and it’s not worth getting invested in.

So, Nioh
Overall I had a really enjoyable experience with it, I’d like to be able to try multiplayer but it’s a thing that’s kinda hard to get an organic experience of, PS+ aside.
The mission system is something I like to be able to replay stages/bosses that I enjoyed instead of having to wait for a NG+ cycle, the problem is that only a handful of bosses stand out, the final boss Kelley/Yamata-no-Orochi was kind of a letdown as a fight, Hundred Eyes was a cool design but a strange boss, I don’t think I’ll like it on NG++ when it turns into Touhou. The bosses I liked the most were something halfway between youkai and humanoid like Otani and Mitsunari.
Auxiliary abilities like Ninjutsu and Onmyo start out slow, but get more useful once you can stack skills to get more uses out of them, especially when you get the instant cast to be able to keep up buffs mid-fight. The slowdown talisman basically makes every boss a sandbag which is great for farming/stress relief.
The stance and skill system is what I like most about Nioh, player animations have actual discipline in them compared to a DS character, and it creates a higher skill ceiling of the R1 poke-roll to butt dynamic in a DS boss, for room to do stylish aggression with stance dancing and Ki pulses, on top of having a visible stagger break meter to know when to take advantage of it. I found high stance the hardest to use, it didn’t really increase stagger on high toughness NPCs, so it was more of a liability with its speed and ki cost. Though on Spear I preferred high stance, but things like low stance having a spinning pivot sidestep instead of a straight line dodge in mid? Really small things that I enjoy.
The game is very responsive, it doesn’t have queued inputs so you don’t roll after getting hit just because you were quarter of a second later, occasionally my item use inputs get eaten up, but its a lot less confusing managing items with Nioh’s control scheme (it’s very friendly)
The level design is amazing, having great setpieces and backgrounds use for dueling (Ohashi Bridge, Yomotsu Hirasaka, Azuchi Castle), and winding levels that have branching paths that lead to the same end, for different players with different means and attitudes, its very much like Dishonored’s excellent level design. I also like the sub-missions remixing the stage layouts. All in all, if DS level design can be compared to a metroidvania, Nioh feels like a more complex Castlevania: Harmony of Despair. It caused me some degree of frustration or confusion because I wanted to map out all of the areas in my head like I do with Dark Souls, but unfortunately I’m still not familiar with all of them, so I ended up running in circles or not knowing how to access some off-path areas.
My favorite weapon designs were the Douji-kiri Yasutsuna and the Hinomotogo, runner ups include the Tombo-kiri, Hozoin Jumonji Spear, Munechika Mikazuki (Gramps...!!), “Craneboy” Juzumaru Tsunetsugu, Raikiri, and the Furewakegami Hiromitsu. I haven’t gotten the DLC to try any of the Odachis.
The game’s aesthetic and approach, to me, make it more of a successor to Otogi, which was ironically made by From Soft before DS, but they have said before that their inspirations were taken from Onimusha as well as Diablo (the gameplay dynamic reflecting that strongly in particular) on top of DS. The levels didn’t have as much variance as DS in aesthetics, but they do hit all the right ones as a period piece.
For the player character being its own character, William was unfortunately underused and felt kinda boring, he mostly just reacts to stuff around him and doesn’t talk nearly as much in cutscenes as he ought to (when people are addressing him directly for instance), and him being the player character brings in some very traditional play of white savior tropes.
I thought that the naturally conclusion that Europe is trying to stir conflict around the world to create Amrita would set the stage for the sequel taking place during the Bakumatsu and the forced opening of the borders by the US to be for them to try and secure Amrita for themselves, and, in essence, have the player continue the fight after fighting for Ieyasu Tokugawa by fighting for his shogunate in the Shinsengumi against imperialists, but oh well, they’re obviously not taking that direction, as much as I’d have liked (probably because its hard to justify wearing armor for war in that age, among other things). The other idea I had would be to set it in the Heian period during the Genpei War.
Anyways, its understandable that the RPG elements aren’t for everyone looking for that masocore action experience, so I might be an outlier because I played MonHun for over 1000 hours and plenty of hours in CV HD and have minor experience with Diablo
I’ll just suck it up and buy the season pass now, I wanna build an odachi and stream the Osaka DLCs blind for yall since I get good bitrate on the PS4 now.
Stuff I’d like to see revised to the sequel
More skills/an active Mystic Art
Revise enemy damage output, allow players to learn from mistakes midfight and don’t completely trivialize the health bar by making everything 1 or 2 shot you at literally any point in the game
Design challenges that aren’t the Monster Hunter approach of Putting Two Bosses in a Arena That Weren’t Designed as a Single Fight (only one I cleared so far was Nobu+Noh)
I wasn’t sure how to make the best use of Blacksmith functions (Soul Match, Reforge) until halfway or near the end of the game
Make it a little easier to understand where specific Smithing Texts drop when they aren’t one-time quest rewards
Rebalancing Guardian Spirits/Living Weapon, every GS felt useless or extraordinarily niche compared to Kato, the starter offensive GS. I really like the unique animations for LW but its really overpowered to build around it
In fact, the way the game handles its RPG elements, you don’t really build anything until you finish your first run through the game, which doesn’t really set in habits of what players should do with their equipment for the new difficulty, how to look for sets for their weapons, or guiding them through substat rerolling. Your build isn’t based on your stat allocation nearly as much as how you pick your armor set and give it the proper substat bonuses
More types of youkai
I feel like due to the differences in nature of the games, a procedural generated dungeon like Chalices would fit Nioh a lot better than BB
Edit: almost forgot, almost all weapons within the same type have the same stat scaling, they should really change that up

if you have the time and want to, I'd love to hear your thoughts and headcanons on Dan Kato and his relationships, especially with people other than Tsunade (though hc with her are also very welcome!)
Apologies for the delay! This ended up being very long, and to preface the following, my headcanons are those assumed in my Clandestine Joys series, and most of them were developed as my dear friend Kri-Kee and I decided Dan needed more of a personality to truly justify how devoted Tsunade was to his memory. As a Hokage hopeful, he would have had to be near a similar level of talent as the Sannin and Sakumo Hatake, which means he could not simply be the boring “nice guy” he appears to be in canon.
Most of these ideas were created for a fic in which Dan is not killed, so please bear that in mind.
For all that he is generally affable, easygoing and unassuming while interacting with his peers, he is calculating and ruthless on the battlefield, displaying keen perception and deadly efficiency.
Duality is a common theme to his personality, as he embodies qualities that are often the polar opposites of one another. He is generally good-natured, and radiates a consistently stable sense of calm, but on the rare occasions when he is provoked, he has a temper that flares even hotter than Tsunade’s.
He is two years older than the Sannin and attended the same Chuunin Exams, where he avoided the use of his clan abilities to prevent killing his targets. He managed to advance through the use of strategy and other chakra based skills.
In peacetime, he was a Jounin sensei as well as a history and folklore enthusiast. Dan has been guilty of using reika no jutsu to abandon his body and explore ruins and other historical sites for fun as a youngster.
Due to his soul travelling ability he is known as Konoha’s Ghost, and the appellation follows him throughout his career.
Reika no jutsu is a Kato clan ability, and all of its users have white hair, which is in line with clan legends. Dan’s chakra itself has a calming effect and naturally syncs with others, the literal balm to soothe the troubled soul, a clan trait that makes it easier for him to possess a given target.
He has a summoning contract that he obtained in part due to Sannin peer pressure and a friendship with a retired courier nin: songbirds of all kinds. It did not sound useful until the day he called up a murmuration of starlings under his command, as well as magpies, and sparrows. The birds were given the appellation Songbirds of Death, due to the symbolism of the magpies and sparrows. Songbirds of Death meant Konoha’s Ghost could be anywhere on a battlefield.
Family:
The Kato were a small nomadic clan whose legends affirm that their soul-traveling ability was gifted to them by a deity who was believed by some to be a goddess, and others a demoness. They originally hailed from the coast of the Land of Lightning during the Warring Clans era, in a small settlement where the mountains met the sea. They were forced to flee as their ability made them a target to be hunted, especially so close to Kiri. Like with the Shimenawa (Orochimaru’s clan in the SC verse), they were invited to join with Konoha at its founding, but did not accept the offer until their numbers dwindled, and it was necessary to join with the village for their clan’s survival.
Shizune is the daughter of Dan’s older sister and an unnamed Uchiha who was killed during the second war.Her father’s family never found out about her, though her genes rang true in both appearance and ability. She has possibly awakened the Sharingan in secret and keeps it concealed as a personal choice, as she lived with the stigma of her possible heritage and wanted nothing to do with it. Dan’s intent was always to adopt Shizune once military matters stabilized, but during wartime, he could not do so.
Relationships:
Dan is pansexual and panromantic, as his clan beliefs saw the body as secondary to the soul, affirming that connections between souls exist regardless of gender.
He a true switch in terms of power dynamics, swinging deeply from one extreme to another in terms of dominance and submission. Submission finds him deeply respectful and worshipful towards his partner(s), but when dominant, he is a strict disciplinarian, often harsh, but loving.
Sannin OT4 pairings to be explored in an upcoming work called Like Sunshine After Rain:
Orochimaru/Dan
Unexpectedly, Dan complements Orochimaru right down to a chakric level. Dan’s naturally calming chakra negates Orochimaru’s naturally sharp, abrasive chakra, and to some degree disarms his tendency to guard himself with it. The easy chemistry between them allows Orochimaru to open up to Dan a lot more easily than he anticipated. Dan in turn gives him something he find little of elsewhere - true acceptance of his differences, and a genuine sense of respect for his culture that he has never found in Konoha with anyone else.
(Their clans had history with one another and shared values, as at some point while the Kato were still nomadic in generations past, the Shimenawa aided them during their trek through Rice Paddy country. Both clans held family and children as sacred, part of the reason both groups were hesitant to join with Konoha and the Senju/Uchiha history of child soldiers. The Shimenawa saw the Kato as especially blessed due to their coloring; white snakes with blue eyes were long upheld as a symbol of good fortune. Orochimaru sees Dan as twice-blessed in this respect.)
Jiraiya/Dan
This is a pairing that most closely resembles slowly burning embers eventually flaring bright with the addition of steady dry kindling. Dan and Jiraiya share common interests and are able to bond over the passions Jiraiya rarely lets on as being his own apart from matters of the erotic - literature, history, mythology and sealing. Both have a bit of a goofy sense of humor, with a love of puns and wordplay. Their relationship begins as an attempt at hopeful friendship that very gradually becomes a deep, abiding love over time.
Tsunade/Dan
She is quite literally the realization of Dan’s dreams, his first love, and first lover. They did indeed meet during a jounin assembly in support of a proposal to add medics to every shinobi team, and he did walk her home, but in the end she was the one to ask him out. She insisted on picking him up and not the other way around, and he knew he would be helpless to resist her.
Dan gives her the comfort she needs after Nawaki’s death and in the wake of the complications with her teammates after their ill fated tryst in Ame. The beginnings of their life together serve as one of the most peaceful times in either of their lives up until this point, and their bond slowly becomes unbreakable. He is her rock, her safe place when nothing else makes sense, and she loves him desperately.
Sorry this was so long, but hopefully it was enjoyable! Thanks so much for the ask
