KRBAY/HNK Head Canons (Robobot Addition Part 2)

The final part begins with Tiff & Kirby being encountered by Haltman, who was surprised at how far they made it into his office. Then he gives them two choices, either to be mechanized or to be smashed by his robobot, in which Tiff declare that she & Kirby will never be mechanized. Which he happily activated his robobot as he began to attack them. Meanwhile when DMK & the otter girl were trying to find the medical facility they bumped into some docs where they found out that when Haltmann was trying to make the portals, he made some deal with a NeMeEe, who were in secretly going to control Haltmann like Dedede & Sectonia. When the battle ends, Haltman declare that he will have to take extra measure, which means he will use the power of his AI Star Dream to annihilate them. However, Susie stole the helmet that would've allowed him to activate star dream. However, before Haltmann could use the machine, Susie snatches the control helmet off his head, causing him to pass out. Planning to sell Star Dream's database to "teach Haltmann a lesson," Susie puts on the control helmet; however, Star Dream becomes sentient and turns on her, (because he was made by NeMeEe) blasting her unconscious with a laser. Star Dream then takes control of Haltmann’s body and uses it to communicate with Kirby & Tiff. Through Haltmann's now comatose body, Star Dream declares that all life-forms are obstacles in the way of Haltmann's wish for eternal prosperity of his company. As the giant computer flew away, Susie woke up and called Kirby's robot, where he got back on, the otter girl, MK, DMK, & Tuff joined in, which Tiff was happy to see he was MK & Tuff back to normal. as they got outside, they saw Star Dream head into space, but then they saw the Halberd (With ChuChu & PyuPyu driving it (more on them in another ask)), which DMK was shockingly surprised, and Tuff said that if Dark Meta wasn't alone, he would've had his own ship as well. Susie activate Kirby's robobot as it absorbed the Halberd and made a Kirby version of the Halberd. Susie, DMK, the otter girl, Tiff & Tuff got onboard, as Kirby went to battle star dream. After defeating it and attach to the Haltman company and its face was revealed, Kirby and the others were shocked to see galactic MOVA's face, as it intended to destroy them, Kirby & co then battled it until Meta Knight launched Kirby and his robobot armor. Turning the Halberd back to normal. As Kirby drilled its head through its body, he made an opening into the NOVA, where he battled the NOVA's heart to shut down Star Dream. Ater Kirby broke the heart of the NOVA, Star Dream exploded. The explosion damaged Kirby's robobot armor and knock Kirby unconscious. As Kirby fell down to the planet, MK picked up Kirby as everyone hoped he would wake up. As Kirby woke up, everyone was happy he was alright. Then, they noticed that the Mecha started to go away, turning everything back to normal. Tiff said she didn't understand how the Haltman company magically turned everything into metal. But it's explained by Susie that Star Dream had a magical being's DNA & that it used its power to turn everything into robots. Tiff asked what would become of her, which Susie said that she would find what to do. Meanwhile, the otter girl & Kirby thanked Dark Meta Knight for helping them, but he said he only did it to try take over the company, but now that the company is gone, he will return to his ship as he walk away. Tiff tells Kirby, Susie, the otter girl, & Meta Knight that they should go to Cappy Town and see if everyone is alright. In which he agrees, as they ran into town. However, at the fountain of dream. the robot landed on its water. Where the fountain swallowed the robobot armor as the fountain of dream shined brighter.

Kirby & Bandanna Waddle Dee friendship inbound (1,314 words)

Kirdana not intended ‘cause i personally see kirby on the aro/ace spectrum and this is supposed to be a ridiculously fluffy found-family piece, but as long as you don’t see them as siblings then i guess its free starspear real estate

A fantastic, sweet smell wafted through the halls of Castle Dedede, warm and sugary and deeply cake-y, Kirby thought dreamily from his perch on a counter. He was busily licking a batter-covered spoon and trying his best not to add too much to the mess that currently littered he and his friend’s sweet-covered workspace.

The castle kitchens were empty save for the two, the quiet place instead filled with the sounds of clinking measuring spoons, rattling double boilers, and ticking timers as they worked. Steam and house-dust clouded the window’s sunbeams, filling the room with a toasty glow.

He and Bandanna Waddle Dee had spent half the afternoon working side by side, busily cooking… something.  Kirby wasn’t really sure what it was; to be honest, Bandanna seemed a little shy about answering his eager questions, but to him at least it looked like cupcakes. They had a wrapper and pretty toppings just like one, but usually they were a lot bigger: these couldn’t be any bigger than a strawberry.

Leaning to get a better look, he plopped the now-spotless stirring spoon in the nearby sink and asked, “Are these fairy cupcakes?”

“They’re petite-fours, Kirby, a Floralian dessert. Though, these’re probably not as good as the real deal from a bakery,” Bandanna answered humbly. “They have way more layers, I’m sure.”

“They are pretty for cupcakes!” Kirby confirmed, completely mishearing the dee, and focused entirely on the tiny desserts that the waddle dee was mixing and pouring so delicately. The wrappers crinkled as he put on, what Kirby hoped, were the finishing touches.

His friend seemed to blush a little, but he still hurried to correct him. “I guess so, and thank you, but they’re called –”

“They’re so tiny and adorable! I like this one.” Kirby pointed to a white one with rainbow pastel sprinkles. “It looks like Bubbly Clouds.”

“Yeah, I guess it really does,” the dee pondered, voice hushed. He cleared his voice, tapping his cheeks as if to disperse the growing heat. He was really red now, Kirby thought. Did he think he wouldn’t like the fairy cupcakes?

That was silly! Anything made by his friend makes it the best ever. Full stop.

“Anyway, you wanna be my taste-tester, Kirby?”

“Oh, do I!” Kirby squealed with glee. He took the fluffy white one from the tray, and with a flat look from Bandanna Waddle Dee, he slowly unwrapped it before carefully eating it in one bite.

Kirby could practically feel his eyes dilate as the tiny patisserie melted in his mouth. He bounced excitedly, knocking the empty mixing bowl off the tile counter with a clatter. He nearly tipped off himself had Bandanna not nudged him back onto it.

Kirby tasted the vanilla cream first, cool and fluffy. Kirby gave a little squeak of joy as he felt the little star-shaped sugar bits in his mouth, before a layer of crisp, dipped milk chocolate took over. Then vanilla returned, this time as a layer of dainty, almost eggy custard, before suddenly blueberry jelly, sweet and smooth with a touch of sour, filled his mouth. And then apricot jam– sugary, light, and so refined, Kirby thought – slowly but surely swept in like an ocean with a lazy tide. When Kirby couldn’t resist the urge to finally bite down on the magical dessert, there was another delicate little crack of chocolate, followed by the soft little crunch of still-warm shortbread cookie.

Now mostly sure that Kirby wouldn’t crack his head on the stone floor, Bandanna Dee was twiddling his arms nervously as he watched his friend practically transcend in front of him. “Was it okay?” he asked timidly at last.

“Okay…?” Kirby murmured, mind still far away in petite-four heaven.

Okay? Oh, they were way more than okay.

“They’re absolutely amazing!” Kirby gushed, determinedly pushing past the sweet-induced euphoria of Bandanna’s delectable cooking, before he grabbed another and hurriedly pushed it towards his friend. “Here – you try, you try!”

Bandanna Dee took the wrapped treat in his hands gingerly and slowly unwrapped it. He popped it in his mouth, and closed his eyes.

After a few moments, he reopened them, and sighed. He walked over to the trash bin and tossed the wrapper. “They’re alright. I could’ve matched the flavors a little better, but they’re pretty good.”

What? That was… so not true. Even when closed, Kirby could see the wonder flit through his friend’s expression at the magical not-a-cupcake.

Could… Could Bandanna not see it?

Of course he couldn’t see the look on his own face, that’d be silly; but it was really strange, Kirby thought, as he slid carefully off the counter top and stared at his friend’s disappointed look. As he watched Bandanna Dee’s face morph to one of confusion, and finally, embarrassment,  he only became more and more flabbergasted.

How on Popstar could his friend not see how amazing his tiny cupcakes were? How amazing all his desserts were? By the way he was blushing earlier, you’d think the poor waddle dee had never gotten a compliment in his life.

It all seemed kind of familiar.

Dedede had told him before about the awful little voice that lives in some people’s heads – no matter how well they do, no matter how wonderful they are, and especially no matter how kind and sweet they are, that yucky little voice would never quit bullying them. He sounded far too knowledgeable about it in that moment for Kirby’s comfort, and it was scary then, but now...

Kirby decided he really didn’t like that little voice.

He looked his dear friend in the eye. “Bandanna,” Kirby began to talk very seriously, face in a grave pout. And then he jumped at the bewildered waddle dee, hugging him tightly, twirling him a half-turn and started talking a mile a minute with the biggest grin on his face to match the joy in his eyes.

“They are the best things I have ever eaten. Ever! You made up the combinations yourself? They taste like hanging out with you! And I can tell you, there’s nothing better than that!”

Bandanna’s eyes lit up in shock, and so did his tomato flush. Direct hit!

“I’ve been to those fancy bakeries you talked about, and they’re good, but these are way better! You’re the best chef I’ve ever met, Bandanna!”

The bashful dee was speechless, and merely hid his eyes. Kirby kept going.

“It’s like eating all my favorite flavors one after another, all at once! It’s amazing!” Kirby let go for a moment to ecstatically hold up another petite-four. “And you decorated them so beautifully! Look, this one’s just like a strawberry!” It was, indeed; a berry-red one with chocolate shavings carefully arranged like seeds all across the top, with two tiny mint leaves stuck just under the cream. “It’s just the right size, too. It’s sooo cute!”

Kirby finally let up in his bombardment to watch his friend practically melt into the floor, hiding his blushing red mess of a face under his bandanna. It was positively adorable, Kirby thought, as he plopped down right beside him.

“You don’t have to make fun of me,” the waddle dee whined. The puff patted him on the arm. “Really! A simple answer would’ve been fine.”

“Nope! It wouldn’t. Because I meant every word I said, and then some,” his friend declared earnestly, leaning almost upside down and peeking under the blue cloth. “You’re something really special, Bandanna Dee, and more people should say it.”

“Thank you. You’re really special too,” the little dee whispered.

Kirby giggled, hugging him again. Bandanna Dee was warm, almost worryingly so, but that was probably just the embarrassment that was even still turning him into a little puddle on the floor. And all from just a simple compliment! If Kirby had any say, that little voice wouldn’t be sticking around long – in his friend, or anybody.

Bandana: Marx is a lot of fun to hang around! ...as long as he's had a snack not too long beforehand, anyways. We pull pranks together all the time!

Sailor: Well... yeah... but sometimes his pranks are pretty mean...

Bandana: As for Magolor... I don't know. It's still hard to get over everything he did... But Kirby and Dedede trust him, and he hasn't tried pulling anything big recently, so... I guess I can tolerate him.

Sailor: I haven't met him myself, but Sir Meta Knight and Bandana are wary about him... That's enough for me.

Bandana: Susie's in the same boat. She and Kirby look like they get along, but if she tries to pull anything around here again, I'll be ready for it.

Sailor: Miss Susanna Haltmann is not legally permitted within 200 yards of Sir Meta Knight or the Halberd.

Sailor: Oh, Taranza is really nice, though! Sometimes when the Halberd is docked in the area, he teaches me gardening tips over some tea!

Bandana: ...Yeah, he's alright. I feel bad for him sometimes, given everything...

...He looks like he's doing better now.

Could you tell us more about gibbous? (Hope I spelled that right) he's just so cute!

👀HHH ok ok ok Gibbous is kinda my self-made blorbo and like all the info I have is very scattered but heres a lot stuff I scrounged together!! Hoo boy saddle up y'all Blue gets to talk about his penguin child

The conversation between Meta and Dedede to go and find a Nova was literally just-

"haha wouldn't it be funny if we used a Nova to wish for a kid?"

"hahaha that would be hilarious"

"..."

"..."

and the rest is history, lads find Starmap, wished for their little, and got a little Gibbous eggy.

They decided on the name Gibbous because they wanted something with meaning and my HCs has them getting engaged during KF2. So Gibbous being the phase of the moon where a Crescent is missing from either side and them being the Waxing and Waning Crescent Moon Warriors, the name Gibbous had that vibe of him being the thing that completes their little unit.

Meta and Dedede are the helicopter parents ever.

While Gibbous is very pengi looking as a baby he starts gaining more traits from Meta as he grows with things like... sorta weird wings growing in and his feather color matching Meta's skin. He even gets Meta's perma blushies as part of his feather pattern. His feathers are also a bit looser than normal penguin feathers, making him slightly fluffy even after he sheds his baby feathers. He also just has a weird ass sounding purr that he got from Meta.

Gibbous as a baby is like, comedically large compared to Meta, but comedically small to Dedede. He very quickly grows to be taller than Meta, and eventually gets to pick up his dad like the beachball man he is. Full grown he's like 2/3rds the height of Dedede.

KIRBY AND BANDEE ARE THE BEST BIG BROTHERS TO HIM AND THEY GET TO TAKE HIM FOR LITTLE TRIPS AROUND DREAMLAND!!

Gibbous takes quite a bit to actually start talking, first time he really starts speaking is like when he's 4 y/o in near full sentences. He was just a very quiet child, he barely did any of the usual small baby words. Before he started talking he used little chirps and pengi noises to express how he's feeling and for a long time never used anything outside of them.

Baby boy was a very picky eater, being part penguin he's just very partial to fish and seafood, for a long time he didn't even want to try things like sweets, to the dismay of his sweets loving family.

Hes also one of those kids that KNOWS he's the cutest little thing and can/will use that to get what he wants. He also learned Dedede is especially susceptible to this behavior.

When it comes to things like abilities he inherited, hes a lot like Dedede, a very physically strong lad and has some magical ability, favoring ice magic. Because of how weirdly his wings grow in he isn't built for flying unless he figures out how to hover the stubborn way like Dedede did.

Though unlike everyone else in his family he is very much not a fighter, a pacifist in a family of people that have thrown hands with gods more than once. He eventually kinda starts to feels bad about it when he hears all the grand achievements everyone has accomplished and begins to hold some really unhealthy standards for himself. Little prince does not feel like he's gonna ever be able to live up to what his fathers and siblings have done.

If there is one thing he got from both Meta and Dedede it was his compassionate heart. If you asked Gibbous what he wants to be when he grows up he'd tell you he just wants to be a good person and to make people happy like how everyone else around him does.

I think thats what I got for my head empty no braincell ramble over my tiny penguino thank you for asking about him so i had a reason to just drop everything in my brain about them.

ok poppet theory: zelda holds up her right hand for the triforce right? so astor bein her inverse (with the music and eggy, yeah yah) the devs had to make his move a left hand floaty thing. and that's how his left-handed orby came to be

it's like a shadow mirror kirby (which i only know it exists) but minced with goo paste on cardboard edge

i also wonder if his evil eye was initially an eyeball tiara of some sorts

oh and since botw 2 zelda will have short hair. maybe astor will have long hair then (if he'll exist)
