Sharky in Denial - Sharky

Sharky suddenly can’t function around you, he's fumbling words, avoiding eye contact, and denying his massive crush while everyone watches him crumble in real time.

You don't know when it started.

Maybe it was always there, lurking under the surface of all the unnecessary arguments and reckless banter. Maybe it snuck up on him in a slow pace, so slow he didn't even notice it himself until it was too late.

All you know is, Sharky is acting weird.

And Sharky? Sharky does not act weird. He's the most predictable person you know, predictably annoying, predictably loud, predictably in your business at all times. You've known him forever, and from the moment you met, it's been the same routine where:

He talks too much.

You shut him up.

He talks even more just to get on your nerves.

Rinse and repeat.

But lately? He's been...hesitating.

Not outright avoiding you, because that would be too obvious but just...off. His usual sharp-witted comebacks have been lagging, his reactions a fraction of a second too late. Like he's buffering and Sharky never buffers.

It's like his brain is working overtime whenever you're around, and instead of making him smarter, it's short-circuiting his whole system.

The worst part? He thinks he's hiding it well.

At first, you don't even question it. You assume maybe he's tired or just in one of those moods where he wants to sit back and chill but then, little things start stacking up.

Like today.

You're at a casual link-up with the guys and just the usual back-and-forth debates, Kenny and Niko competing over something stupid, Chunkz laughing at both of them. It's loud, chaotic, normal. Except for one thing.

Sharky is quiet.

Not silent, but...muted. His energy is off and every time you speak, his eyes flick over to you too fast, like he was already looking.

You notice it, but you don't say anything.

Yet.

Because you're not the only one clocking it.

Niko, being the menace that he is, picks up on it first. You see him glance at Sharky every few minutes, his expression shifting from confusion to amusement to outright scheming. Kenny catches on next, his gaze darting between you and Sharky with growing suspicion.

And then, of course, there's Chunkz.

Chunkz knows everything  and of course, everyone knows that already. He's been watching Sharky malfunction in real-time for weeks, and it's killing him to stay quiet about it but now? Now he doesn't have to stay quiet. Because now, everyone is catching on.

So, naturally, he takes the opportunity to instigate.

"Yo, Sharky, you good?" Chunkz says suddenly, real casual, like he's just making conversation.

"Huh? Yeah, why?" Sharky said, caught off guard, looks up too quickly.

"Dunno, man. You've been moving a little... weird today" Chunkz shrugs, sipping his drink.

"Weird?" Sharky said, immediate outrage.

"Nah, Chunkz might be onto something " Niko said as he grins, leaning forward like a predator sensing weakness.

"You man are moving mad, I'm calm" Sharky said as he glares.

"You're never this calm" Kenny points out, arms crossed.

"Normally, you'd be the first one violating Y/N but today? Suspiciously quiet" Kenny added with a raised eyebrow.

That's when you realized that he hasn't made fun of you today. Not once.

And that is weird.

So you decide to test him.

"Yeah, Sharky. What's up with that?" You asked, tilting your head.

"You losing your touch?" You added with a teasing smirk etched in your face.

That should've worked. Normally, he'd be quick to shut that down, instantly launching into a roast about how he's always on top of his game but today?

Today, there's a split-second of hesitation.

And that's all you need.

"You lot are so weird. I swear, man can't just chill without you all making up narratives" Sharky said shakes his head, scoffing.

"Is that what we're doing? Making stuff up?" Chunkz said as he raises an eyebrow.

"Yes" Sharky's tone is firm. A little too firm.

"You guys are moving like detectives over nothing" Sharky added.

"So if I ask you why you were staring at Y/N just now--" Chunkz said.

"I wasn't staring!" Sharky said, a little too quickly and that gives Chunkz all the answer he needs.

Silence.

"...Why are you lot looking at me like that?" Sharky said as he blinks, realizing he just dug his own grave.

Kenny and Niko burst out laughing.

"You're moving shaky, my guy" Chunkz just shakes his head, grinning like he knew this was coming.

"Nah, this is actually insane. You're gaslighting me. I wasn't staring. I was just...observing the environment" Sharky said as he points an accusing finger.

"So I'm 'the environment' now?" You asked with a smirk.

He freezes.

And ohhh, that's the moment he really starts crumbling. Because now? Now you're involved. Now, you are looking at him with that smirk, like you're enjoying this a little too much.

And Sharky? He hates that.

So, naturally, he doubles down.

"You're twisting my words. That's not even what I meant" Sharky said, refusing to back down.

"Then what did you mean, Sharky?" You said as you leaned in slightly, propping your chin in your hand.

Boom. Immediate shutdown. He has nothing.

"Nah, you lot are actually jarring. I'm not doing this today" Sharky said, and just like that, he stands up, ready to exit the conversation entirely.

But now it's a game.

"Oh, he's running" Niko taunts, laughing.

"Man's actually fleeing the scene" Kenny adds.

"Nah, let him go. He needs to process" Chunkz said as he shook his head, arms crossed.

Meanwhile, you just smile, watching Sharky storm off like he isn't being obvious.

Because now? Now you know.

And the next time you catch him staring?

Oh, you're definitely going to make him suffer.

                     "The city of looooveeee"

The morning light filters through the curtains, casting a soft glow over the hotel room. Amara stirs first, stretching lazily against the sheets, her body still heavy with sleep. She shifts slightly, feeling the warmth of Sharky beside her. For a moment, she just listens—the faint hum of the city outside, the slow, steady rhythm of his breathing.

She's never been much of a morning person, but something about waking up like this makes it easier.

A low groan escapes Sharky as he shifts onto his side, squinting at her. "Why are you up?" His voice is thick with sleep, his accent heavier in the early hours.

Amara smirks, propping herself up on one elbow. "I could ask you the same thing."

"'Cause you're moving too much," he mutters, tugging at the blanket and pulling her closer. She laughs, resting her forehead against his chest.

A comfortable silence settles between them before reality starts creeping back in.

"I leave for Paris tonight," she murmurs after a while, running a hand through her curls. "Tour's not over yet."

Sharky hums in acknowledgment, his fingers tracing absentminded patterns against her arm. "Yeah, I know."

Amara tilts her head up to look at him. "You're going back to London?"

He pauses, his lips pressing together in thought. "I mean... I was supposed to," he admits. "But I don't actually have anything urgent to do right now. Primo stuff is steady, and the boys are just chilling. I don't know... might be nice to come with you for a bit."

She blinks, caught off guard. "You'd come to Paris?"

He grins, tucking a stray curl behind her ear. "Yeah, why not? I've never been, and I'd rather be with you than sit around in London doing nothing."

Amara searches his face, trying to gauge if he's just saying it in the moment or if he really means it. But there's no hesitation in his expression—just quiet certainty.

"You'd really come?" she asks again, softer this time.

Sharky rolls onto his back, stretching. "Amara, you act like I just offered to move across the world." He glances at her with a teasing smile. "It's just Paris."

She bites back a grin. "Yeah, just Paris."

Still, the idea of him being there with her makes her heart do something weird in her chest. Tour life can be isolating, even with her team around. Having Sharky there, even if just for a little while, would make it feel a little less like work and a little more like something worth remembering.

An almost sleepless night - King Kenny 💚

Summary: You’re having a hard time sleeping but Kenny is there to help.

You groan before turning over in your bed for what feels to be like the 100th time this night. You never usually had trouble falling asleep but tonight was different. It wasn’t even like you just weren’t tired, you really were but for some reason you just couldn’t fall asleep.

This wouldn’t be as much of a problem if you didn’t have early morning plans tomorrow. You and your boyfriend Kenny had arranged a gym date for literally like first thing tomorrow or since it was past 12, this morning. One thing about you was that when you were really tried, you had the tendency to be a little bit grumpy.

You decide to send a Kenny a text to warn him you might not be in the best of moods tomorrow. You know he’ll be asleep by now but at least when he wakes up he’ll see it.

You turn on your phone, the light from the screen practically blinding you. You quickly type out a message and hit send.

‘hi baby 💗 ik ur asleep but just wanted to lyk im having trouble sleeping tonight so might be a little grumpy tmr haha xx’

You’re confused to see that pretty much as soon as you hit send that the message says it’s already been read. You assume maybe your phones just glitching and in all honestly, you’re too tired to think about it right now.

You put your phone back on your bedside table before pulling your duvet over your head and shutting your eyes, trying to get to sleep but once again to no avail.

You continue to lie in your bed, now lying on your back just facing the ceiling and before you know it another 30 minutes or so pass.

Suddenly you hear a loud knock on your front door. You’re confused, who is knocking on your door at this time? You try your best your best to ignore the knocking as you believe it’s probably nothing important. Though, this knocking doesn’t stop, it continues getting louder and louder. Then, without out any warning you hear a familiar voice,

“Y/N? Are you awake? Open up!”

Even if you were asleep, you wouldn’t be now. You immediately know this voice belongs to Kenny.

You quickly get out of bed and switch on the light before walking out of your room and down stairs to your front door. As soon as you open the door you immediately see Kenny, holding a plastic bag in one hand and a huge blanket in the other.

“Ken, what are you doing here at this time?”

You say sounding extremely tired.

“I’m here to help you sleep, of course.”

He replies before strolling inside and giving you a quick kiss on the forehead.

You just stand there, completely stunned that he would disrupt this own sleep to help you. No man has ever treated you this well before.

“Come on, let’s go get you to sleep.”

He says before walking upstairs to your bedroom, you quickly follow him.

Before you’ve even made your way through the doorway you see Kenny sat on the bed taking countless things out his plastic bag.

“What’s all that?”

You ask curiously.

“I found a few things in the back of my cupboard that are supposed to be good for sleep.”

He says handing you a bottle of melatonin gummies.

“I think they might be expired but I’m sure it will be fine!”

You hand the bottle back to him,

“I’m like 100% it would not be fine to take expired melatonin.”

You say, laughing slightly.

Kenny rolls his eyes before putting the bottle back in the bag and pulling out another small spray bottle.

“You’re supposed to spray this on your pillow to make you fall asleep.”

He says carefully reading the back of the bottle and giving it a quick shake.

“Let’s try it!”

You say sounding pretty enthusiastic at the thought of actually getting to sleep tonight,

Kenny takes the lid of the spray bottle and presses down a couple of times, spraying a fine mist onto your pillow and bedcovers.

“Hm, that smells pretty nice.”

You exclaim, sniffing the air before opening your mouth wide as a yawn escapes you.

“Looks like it’s already working.”

Kenny says chuckling before speaking once again,

“Oh also! I brought this blanket, I thought maybe you couldn’t sleep cause you might be cold.”

“Aw Kenny, you really do think of everything.”

You say as a smile appears on your face, Kenny is quick to smile back.

You glance at the clock, it’s now way past 2am and you can finally feel your body begging for sleep, though before you can finally drift off, it’s only fair that Kenny goes home and gets some sleep too.

You let out a tired sigh, rubbing your eyes. “Ken, you should go.”

You say looking up at him,

“I’ll be fine. You need your sleep too.”

But Kenny doesn’t move. He looks at you,, his eyes soft but serious.

“I’m not going anywhere,”

he says, voice low. “You’ve had no sleep all night, I’m staying.”

You blink, not really expecting him to say that, and immediately feel a little silly for trying to get him to leave as you should’ve known he’s not going to listen anyway. However, you don’t want him to stay because of you, he needs sleep too.

“Ken,”

you start again, but this time, it comes out more like a laugh,

“You really can’t stay, you need to go and get some sleep.”

You say trying to sound as serious as possible.

Kenny shrugs, that playful grin spreading across his face. “I’m staying,” he repeats, like it’s the most obvious thing in the world. “You need someone to keep you company, and I’m it.”

You look at him for a moment, trying to come up with another excuse to send him off, but when you see the way he’s looking at you with those kind, loving eyes, your protest fades. You sigh, letting your head fall back on the pillows behind you, giving in. “Fine, but you’re gonna regret this in the morning.”

“Don’t care.”

He says as his grin widens. Kenny lies down beside you, though only for a second as then he sits up just a little bit, trying to put the blanket over you both. You can feel the softness of it and the heat radiating from it, and somehow, even though you’re still awake, it makes you feel a little better.

“Come here,”

Kenny says softly, pulling you toward him. “Let’s get you to sleep.”

He wraps his arm around you, pulling you close, and you instinctively curl into him, the heat of his body a welcome comfort. and before you know it, you’re lying down, your head resting against his chest.

You feel his fingers gently stroke your back, and the rhythmic movement of his breath makes your eyelids grow heavier.

“You good?”

Kenny asks, his voice low, the question barely a whisper.

You nod, letting out a soft sigh of relief. “Yeah. This is perfect.”

He hums, clearly pleased with that answer, and presses a kiss to the top of your head. His arm tightens around you just a little, pulling you closer, until you’re both completely tangled in the blanket, wrapped in warmth and quiet. It doesn’t take long for your eyes to go heavy and your breathing to slow down. Suddenly, you hear him whisper, “Sleep, babe. I’m right here.”

You can’t help but smile softly before whispering,

“Goodnight, Ken.”

“Goodnight,” he murmurs back, his voice already softer as sleep starts to pull him under. And with that, the world outside fades away, and you’re left in his arms, warm, safe, and finally asleep.

Niko drops everything to take care of you during your worst period cramps, proving that you’re always his priority.

You felt like absolute death.

Cramps twisted in your stomach with a vengeance, a sharp, unrelenting pain that radiated down your legs and into your lower back. Every slight movement sent another wave of discomfort crashing through you, and no matter how many times you adjusted, nothing helped.

You lay curled up on your side, clutching your stomach, your blanket wrapped tightly around you like a cocoon. The heating pad had stopped working hours ago, leaving you with nothing but sheer willpower to get through the pain. But the worst part? The exhaustion. Your entire body felt drained, weak, heavy.

And of course, Niko wasn't home.

You had tried to downplay it when he called earlier, not wanting him to worry. He had gone out with the guys for another filming for their channel and the last thing you wanted was for him to cut his plans short just because of this. It wasn't like it was anything new, right?

So you sucked it up. Lied through your teeth and said 

"I'm fine, don't worry, babe" You said, despite suffering through depths of hell because of your period.

But Niko knew you too well.

That's why when you heard the sound of your front door unlocking, followed by his voice calling out 

"Babe? Where are you?" Niko called out.

You weren't even surprised.

You barely had the energy to respond. 

"Bedroom" You croaked out weakly.

Seconds later, he appeared in the doorway, his dark eyes immediately scanning you. His expression dropped the moment he saw you curled up in bed, your face pale, eyes puffy, blanket wrapped around you like armor.

"Are you serious?" Niko muttered, walking over with quick strides. 

"This is what fine looks like?" Niko added.

You managed a small, guilty smile. 

"Didn't wanna--" You said, trying to reason out

"If you say 'didn't wanna bother me,' I swear, I'm gonna--" Niko exhaled sharply, shaking his head. 

"You are my business, you know that, right?" Niko added.

You opened your mouth to argue but he was already kicking off his shoes, dropping his keys on the dresser and sitting down on the edge of the bed like a man on a mission.

"I came prepared" Niko said, reaching for a plastic bag he had set down on your nightstand. 

"Because unlike some people, I actually take this stuff seriously" Niko added.

You watched as he started pulling things out. Your favorite snacks, a fresh heating pad, a pack of painkillers, and then--

"Wait, are those--?" You asked.

"Tampons and napkins" Niko said proudly, holding up packs like it was a trophy. 

"I don't know which one you prefer so I got them all" Niko added, rubbing the back of his neck.

A lump formed in your throat. He had actually gone out of his way to buy you tampons and napkins?

You felt your eyes sting with tears, and immediately, Niko's expression shifted to panic. 

"No, no, don't cry!" Niko said as he leaned closer, hands hovering near your face like he wanted to wipe your tears but was afraid of making it worse. 

"Did I do something wrong? I thought--" Niko asked with a panic look in his face.

"No, you did everything right" You said as you sniffled, shaking your head.

He hesitated before carefully tucking a loose strand of hair behind your ear. His voice was softer this time. 

"Then why are you crying?" Niko asked.

"Because no one's ever done this for me before" You admitted, your voice barely above a whisper.

Niko's brows knitted together, like the thought of you going through this alone, without anyone caring enough to help, that physically hurt him.

He cupped your cheek gently, his thumb brushing against your skin. 

"Well, get used to it" Niko murmured. 

"You're mine and when you're not okay, I will be here. Every single time" Niko added.

Your heart clenched.

Before you could even respond, he was already moving, tearing open the heating pad and plugging it in. He gently lifted your blanket and pressed it against your stomach, adjusting it just right before pulling the blanket back over you. Then he grabbed the painkillers, shaking two into his palm before holding them out with a bottle of water.

"Take these" Niko instructed, watching closely as you did.

Once you swallowed them down, he crawled into bed beside you without hesitation. One strong arm slid under your waist, pulling you into him until you were resting against his chest, his other hand rubbing slow, soothing circles against your lower back.

His warmth surrounded you, grounding you, making the pain just a little bit more bearable.

"You really didn't have to come home early" You said as you let out a shaky breath.

"Shut up" Niko muttered into your hair.

You let out a weak laugh, and he pulled you even closer, his lips brushing against your forehead.

"You're all that matters, babe. If you need me, I'm there. No questions" Niko mumbled.

Your heart melted right then and there.

You buried your face into his chest, inhaling his familiar scent, your body finally beginning to relax for the first time all day. The cramps were still there, but wrapped up in Niko's arms, you knew you'd be okay.

Because you weren't alone anymore.

You had him.

And that was all you needed.

KENNY AND TAKING A BUNCH OF KIDS TRICK OR TREATING!

- he has a bunch of siblings so this definitely works out

- he was against it at first but knows you love his family + eventually agreed

- you both still have costumes on but mostly just walk together and talk as all the kids run up and down every driveway

- all the kids will hand you bunch of candy so it’s a win-win in the end for you both because you’re getting to spend time together too <33
