A hand rests on the nearest tree , steadying himself after days worth of travel. The groaning and grumbling from the undead army is starting to make his head ache - even more so than the complaints he had to deal with from Richard before. Galavant straightens himself , a hand pinching the bridge of his nose as a few of the undead walk straight into a river that he swears wasn't there two seconds ago.

❛ Alright , ❜ Though he hasn't really gotten a hang of the whole " commanding them " thing , at least they stop when he does. ❛ I think we've gone far enough. Let's . . . stop here for now. ❜ While his yearning for Isabella is strong enough to keep him moving for another week , he knows full well that he can't go it alone. . . No matter how much he's insisted that he does. He would've really preferred that , actually.

But still , there's a part of him that enjoys the company. He makes his way to close the distance between them. ❛ How are you faring ? ❜ He asks , maybe trying a little too hard to seem detached and yet still caring. Like he cares , and yet not like he cares too much. ❛ We've still quite the journey ahead of us. Are you sure you want to go on ? ❜

Warnings: None at all. This series encompass mainly romance, fluff, angst.

Summary: A Princess embroiled in an arranged betrothal to the most feared General Aleksander Kirigan, the leader of the Second Army in Ravka. Would this be a mere political alliance or something more than it meets the eye?

Bonus: I couldn’t stop listening to the soundtrack while writing this chapter.

General Kirigan stood skimming the map of Ravka which was laid down on an enormous table that ran almost half of the space in the room, immersed in his thoughts. The sound of firewood crackling is the only thing that could be heard in his dark-lit war room. The room was cramped with cabinets loaded with maps, artifacts, paintings, books and whatnot. Beside him was his untouched Kvas, in front of him, on the wall was a black banner showcasing his coat of arms, embellished with glittering intricate silver details, which depicted the Sun in Eclipse but not a single star was there to adorn it.

He had found his Sun Summoner whom he had been looking for centuries after making many endeavors. He had made sure to keep an eye on her every step of the way because he wanted to make sure nothing goes awry so that everything could be executed according to his whims and fancies.

His eyes rested upon the banner of his symbol for a while. “It feels empty and lonely, just as my soul”, He thought to himself. He was too adamant to admit that he was lonely in this world after spending centuries on his own.

General Kirigan’s train of thoughts was interrupted by subdued knock on the door.

“What is it, Ivan?”, the General asked in his husky voice.

“The King’s brother, Prince Richard is here for an audience with you, General”, Ivan replied. He was one of the General’s Oprichniki and most trusted soldiers.

General Kirigan knew why the Prince requested an audience with him that evening. Few weeks ago, the King himself communicated to him about his betrothal to the Princess Y/N, which was indeed considered as an emblematic union that benefited both parties by the King and his advisers with the intention of bolstering the alliance between the Grisha and the people of Ravka. Even though, the General didn’t have a speck of an hope to get married, it was not his position to defy the King. Whether he wanted or not, he was deprived of any choice but to concede.

“Ah yes. I was informed about this meeting. Don’t keep him waiting, Ivan.” said the General while fixing up his kefta.

Ivan opened the door for the Prince to enter.

“Moi tsarevich, it’s an honor to have you in my chambers.” The General bowed to the Prince.

“It’s pleasure meeting you, General. I wanted to meet you myself here because of the gravity of the matter I intend to discuss with you.” The Prince said glancing at Ivan.

“Ivan, you may wait outside” Ivan bowed to the General and the Prince and took his leave, closing the doors behind him.

“A glass of Kvas for you, moi tsarevich. Let me send a word to the kitchen to bring some refreshments for you” The General offered a glass of Kvas to the Prince.

“Thank you, General. No need for other refreshments. Let me cut to the chase.” The Prince uttered with a grave expression on his face. “ I hope you’re aware that my daughter will return to the Grand Palace on the day of the Winter Fete.”

“Yes. The King informed me about her arrival few days before” The General nodded in agreement.

“There’s something about her that others are not aware of, specially the Royal Family which puts her safety at peril” The Prince muttered, turning towards the General.

The General furrowed his brows. “ What is it, moi tsarevich? If it concerns her safety, it must be a grave matter.” Anything that would put his prospective bride’s life in harm’s way, would affect him as well, at least remotely.

The Prince stared at the fireside for a while, swirling the glass of Kvas. “This is a secret that should be kept between us, General. Otherwise, the Princess’s life will be at an immense stake”

“I give you my word, moi tsarevich. You have always been an ally and a pillar of support of Grisha.” General bobbed his head respectfully.

Your father had been supportive of Grisha in many respects for many years. He always believed that they should live in harmony without being downtrodden or marginalized. As a matter fact, he had played a integral role in holding discussions with the Fjeardan government on behalf of the royal family of Ravka regarding the Grisha held in custody at the Ice Court of Fjearda and even gone out of his way to help them escape from the Fjeardans. Therefore, your father was a well-respected royal by Grisha. You, his only child, well, there’s a saying that an Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

“ I trust you, General and you’re her fiancé. It is the reason for me to have this conversation with you” The Prince stepped closer to the General. “My daughter, Y/N is capable of wielding the powers of Small Science”

The General was astounded by what the Prince just said. He found himself dumbstruck for a moment as a pin-drop silence loomed over the room for a minute or two. He couldn’t believe his own ears for moment. A Grisha in the Royal family was such a rare occurrence. It had never been known for Grisha to have a Royal descent; A Grisha Princess.

“You mean, she is a Grisha, moi tsarevich?” General Kirigan broke the silence. There was a scintilla of uncertainty in his voice. “Was she tested when she was little?” The members of the royal family were hardly tested by Grisha examiners as the chances of a Royal being a Grisha was minimal. Until this moment, it was reckoned null.

“No. We got to know it few years ago, before she was sent to Ketterdam” The Prince added. “Now that she will be here, I want to ensure that her life is not at stake. I have heard many rumors about attempts to kidnap the Sun Summoner.” He paused for a while before uttering what he really wanted to say. “You will not, by any means, use her as one of your Grisha soldiers, General.” It sounded more as if the Prince was commanding the General, rather than engaging in a typical conversation between soon-to-be father in law and his son in law. “It will only transpire more chaos than what our family already has”

“You have my word, moi tsarevich. I’ll personally see to her safety concerns. She’ll be safer here than being at her home. Don’t worry” The General’s assuring words appeased the Prince’s doubts about your safety to some extent. “As far as this alliance goes, I don’t intend to make her one of the soldiers.” Besides, his focus was mainly centered on Alina Starkov in that period of time.

“It’s a relief to hear those words from you” The Prince placed his hand on the General’s shoulder. “Thank you, General Kirigan. From the day of Winter Fete onwards, she will be one of your prioritized responsibilities, in addition to, leading the Second Army of course” The Prince chuckled, looking at the war table which denoted the current positions of the army encampments.

“It’s my honor and duty to you” The General said reassuringly.

“Then I must take my leave, General Kirigan” The Prince walked toward the door with the General to his left side.

“ Looking forward to meeting the Princess, moi tsarevich” General Kirigan paused for a while. “Before you leave, do you know what order she belongs to ?”

The Prince turned back to face the General.

“An etherealki, technically.”

General Kirigan’s eyes gleamed as a smile settled on his lips.

The General sat on the edge of his war table after the Prince left. A prickle of excitement went through his skin, engulfed with impatience to meet the Princess. He was never fond of this alliance, until he heard the word that you were a Grisha, just like him which piqued his enthusiasm to see you and get to know you. The crowning glory was he was the first to know and nobody else in the Royal family knew about it. At least, he knew he didn’t despise the idea of being introduced to you.

There’s not any dull moment nor rest where youth and pleasure meet.

The timing of Richard Eden's massive attack on the dumb prince just now, and almost at the same moment the announcement of the Harkles shock interview with Jane Pauley, the first big TV interview since their Oprah Lie-Fest.I'm really interested in these two things happening at almost exactly the same time; a really severe attack on the idiot prince by Richard Eden for Harry using Her Majesty QEII to get what he wants, and the announcement of Jane Pauley interview.I think its fair to say all we sinners are much more sophisticated and educated now about how the media works, and the timing of annoucements, and general attempts to manage, manipulate and spin stores.This latest piece by Richard Eden is the most out-there he has been in critisizing the idiot prince. He obviously feels he has licence to do so now, because while normally critical of the wicked duo, he is usually quite restrained and understated, gently suggesting possible opinions people might have about them.Sounds to me like someone in the RF has given Richard Eden the go-ahead to take off the gloves. The idiot prince trying to use Her Majesty QEII for his own ends, exploting her good name and legacy to get what he wants, when she is not in a position to defend herself, may just have been the final straw for The King. Claiming that HMQEII is supporting the idiot prince, looking down on him from heaven and approving his conduct which has been publicly and relentlessly critical of The King, and telling Harry to "see it through to the end" is tastless, vile and exploitative behaviour by the idiot prince.And Eden has taken his criticism to a new intensity, acknowledging the grief Harry caused the dying Monarch, by just coming right out and saying "Shame on Harry for now trying to use the memory of a grandmother he did so much to hurt in her final years.".The unexpected announcement that the Harkles are talking to Jane Pauley smells to me of the wicked duo trying to get ahead of negative news. Forget all the nonsense about their so-called anti-bullying campaign. They are doing the interview because they want to get a message out.Could it be that they have been told by the RF of changes to their status, of the loss of some of their prestige or titles, or some other final action by The King, and they are trying to get ahead of the story, by making the announcement themselves as though it has been their decision? As in, we have decided to relinquish our titles, or we have decided to break all contact with the royal family, or Harry and the two doll-children are relinquishing their place in the line of succession?Harry made those comments about HMQEII one week ago (last Thursday), and there may have been immediate consequences behnd the scenes for the wicked-duo, which saw them making a quick decision to arrange the Jane Pauley interview to try to spin any forthcoming negative annoucement about them by the PalaceJust seems to me that Richard Edens story is laying some useful PR groundwork, finally calling out in no uncertain terms Harry's shocking behaviour, and helping to justify action by the RF to punish or finally cut-off the Harkles.The idiot Prince has exploited, used and abused William's good name, that of Catherine, Camilla, and The King. Maybe going after The King's late mother HMQEII was too much for Charles, and he has finally had enough.Am I wrong? ET Online: Earlier this week when it was revealed William would be missing his godfather’s memorial service, the Palace told ET that Kate, who underwent abdominal surgery in January, continues to be “doing well.” But with the speculation only intensifying, the Palace released another statement to ET on Thursday.  

“We gave guidance two days ago that the Princess of Wales continues to be doing well,” the statement reads. “As we have been clear since our initial statement in January, we shall not be providing a running commentary or providing daily updates.”

Tom Sykes of The Daily Beast: A former royal staffer who still has friends and contacts inside the palace said, “Anyone who expects the palace to suddenly start giving lengthy updates on Kate will be disappointed. The principal aim of her being sequestered is to guard her privacy. I’m sure the press hate it because it is working. There is a really, really small bubble of people who know exactly what is going on.”

Prince William visited a central London synagogue, where Kate had been scheduled to visit on Holocaust Remembrance Day (27 Jan 2024).

Jan Moir on Prince William: One day soon he will be the head of the nation, a focus for national identity, unity and pride. So maybe he should stop behaving like a celebrity flake and reign in that impervious attitude along with his indulgent fondness for obsessive secrecy. If this is a sign of what is to come when he ascends the throne, it is very worrying one.

Tom Bower says Kate’s condition is more serious than has been reported previously.

Stand By Me (1986)

The movie I watched this week would be Stand By Me. Starring the likes of Wil Wheaton, River Phoenix, Corey Feldman, Jerry O'Connell, Kiefer Sutherland, and Richard Dreyfuss. The film was released August 22, 1986 and directed by Rob Reiner who also directed such films as The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, as well as an adaptation of another Stephen King Novel known as Misery. The reason I chose this movie is because it happens to be one of my favorite movies of all time and every time I watch it I'm always reminded of the good times I used to have with my friends throughout my childhood.

Regarding the numbers at the box office, Stand By Me had a decent budget of 8 billion dollars for 1986 standards. It also made $52,287,414 domestically and only $1,236 internationally. Making a total worldwide budget of $52,288,650. While the opening weekend for this film was 0.5% of total gross, it also did rather poorly with their DVD sales with only $1,431,608 in total DVD sales (link for more details). The film was critically successful with positive ratings such as an 8.1/10 on IMDb, a 92% for rotten tomatoes, and a Metacritic rating of 75%. Regardless of the poor DVD sales as well as the poor international sales, this film has been deemed successful by fans and critics alike. Not to mention it made more money than the film's budget. One review that I found would be from The New York Times which says "Some 15-year-olds may well enjoy this tale about some 12-year-olds, so parents will have to decide how much they are willing to endure for their kids." I think this quote from the review means that certain age groups will have a deeper understanding of the movie once they watch it (link for the full review).

The movie begins with the narrator named Gordie Lachance who happens to be grown up in this scene and is reflecting on the summer of 1959 when he was only 12 years old, living in a small town in Oregon known as Castle Rock. Soon after we meet his friends named Teddy Duchamp and Chris Chambers playing poker in their clubhouse until another friend named Vern Tessio shows up and asks their friends if they can camp out for a sleepover when it turns out that they’re going to look for a dead body and they go on a 3 day hike to search for him, Vern found out about the body when he overheard a conversation about a missing kid named Ray Brower. The reason the kids are looking for the body is so that they become famous, however there’s a gang of bullies that also want to search for the missing kid and become famous as well (link for synopsis).

While the plot of the movie is a bit dark and depressing, I do personally think that it is good for establishing an emotional coming of age story, after all this movie is based on the novel by Stephen King entitled The Body. Despite the movie being R rated, I do think that the director wanted to target the movie to a certain age group who will deeply understand the movie (as I mentioned above). I also have to mention, the movie also has some really impactful scenes that people can somewhat relate to. Especially the ending where they mention how we have to say goodbye to our childhood (see clip below), you can tell that this has left an emotional impact on a lot of people who watched this movie, me included.

One of the limiting factors that I can think of for this film would be the R rating and how it limited most viewers under the age of 17 from seeing this movie when it first came out. By today's standards, this is still regarded as an all time classic and is also still being favored by fans and critics alike.

Although this film falls into the category of being conventional, there is one scene of the film that would be considered unconventional by some viewers. What happens in the scene is that Gordie tells a story about an obese kid looking to get revenge on the people that made fun of him because of his weight, and the kid gets revenge by entering a pie eating contest and creating what is known as a "Barf-o-rama" which involves him making the other contestants vomit as well as the attendees at the contest by vomiting on another contestant after drinking castor oil and eating a raw egg, as well as 5 blueberry pies. The reason why this would be considered unconventional is because the talk about vomit being used in a silly story that was thought up by a twelve year old, as well as being humor targeted towards middle school aged kids.

Overall, I have noticed a few personal things when rewatching this movie. Even though I have rewatched it a few times from when I last saw it at the age of 12, it would emotionally impact me more each time I would watch it, cause a lot of people can relate to not seeing their friends again after their childhood ends. For me personally, I can somewhat relate because I also have had many friends come in and out of my life.

The Conspiracy Theory That Richard Petty’s 200th and Final NASCAR Cup Series Victory Was Staged

Over the course of 35 years in the NASCAR Cup Series, “The King” accumulated an incredible 200 victories. However, conspiracy theorists believe that Petty’s 200th and final Cup Series victory, which came on Independence Day in 1984, was staged due to the fact that then-President Ronald Reagan was in the stands at the Firecracker 400 that day at Daytona International Speedway. 

Ronald Reagan, for whom Richard Petty campaigned in North Carolina, was in attendance for the 1984 NASCAR Firecracker 400 It’s not often NASCAR holds a race on a Wednesday but that was the case on July 4, 1984, at famed Daytona International Speedway and President Ronald Reagan marked the occasion by giving the “Start your engines” command from Air Force One on his way to the race. Upon arriving to the track, Reagan, who became the first U.S. president to ever attend a NASCAR race, first stopped by the press box before being escorted to his suite and watched as Richard Petty took on 41 other drivers in the Firecracker 400.Petty, who made his living by mostly going left, has never hidden the fact that he prefers the right when it comes to politics and attended numerous events in his home state of North Carolina in support of Reagan during his re-election campaign, which ties into the conspiracy theory. 

NASCAR conspiracy theorists believe Richard Petty won the Firecracker 400 because Ronald Reagan was in the stands. As mentioned, Ronald Reagan was the first U.S. president to ever attend a NASCAR race, which meant the 1984 Firecracker 400 was getting a lot of attention. With that in mind, conspiracy theorists believe that NASCAR wanted and/or needed a big-name driver to win that particular race. And as we said in the very first sentence, there are very few names — if any — in motorsports history bigger than Richard Petty, who dominated a large portion of the race before engaging in a dramatic finish with two-time defending Daytona 500 champion Cale Yarborough. 

On lap 158 of the 160-lap race, Petty and Yarborough were battling for the lead when Doug Heveron wrecked his #01 Chevy on the first turn, which placed the race under caution. At the time, NASCAR rules stated that the caution period didn’t begin until the leaders reached the start/finish line with the first to make it back being declared the winner. So it essentially just became a two-man race between Petty and Yarborough, who raced down the stretch with “The King” winning by a nose, giving him NASCAR Cup Series victory number 200 — with President Ronald Reagan in the stands for the historic feat — which apparently was just a little too convenient for some. “The King” celebrated with the president before heading to Victory Lane. 

Conspiracy theorists also like to point to the fact that before Richard Petty headed to Victory Lane, the usual tradition, he immediately got out of his car and headed up to President Reagan’s suite to celebrate, which the theorists believe was yet another staged stunt that was planned far in advance. They also like to point out that in the 241 Cup Series races in which he competed after the 1984 Firecracker 400, Petty never won again.

Los Angeles, dia 01 de Outubro de 2013, 10 horas da noite

Hoje marca uma semana até o heist. Pode dar certo, pode não dar,  a gente pode morrer na volta pra 2024, sei lá, são muitas variáveis e a gente não tem garantia nenhuma que eles vão entregar a gente de volta ao lugar certo e ao tempo certo. Então, como estou sem sono, o Marcelo ronca pra caralho e está tudo cagado mesmo, acho que quero fazer um registro de pelo menos como eram os Kalman antes do JJH decidir que ele ia fuder a minha vida. Peço desculpa pelas fotos porque são as que eu tenho disponível

Esse é meu vô. Alexander Kalman (Robert Redford), o AK, ou velho AK, como a Bitchtoria chamava ele. O AK é legal, ele é filho de imigrantes judeus que fugiram dos nazistas. Os pais dele se esconderam num navio que partia da Alemanha pra os EUA, e o pai se entregou pra que a mulher e os filhos tivessem tempo pra embarcar. Foi ele que me deu meu primeiro baseado e que me ensinou a bolar um bem direitinho. Ele não deixava chamar ele de vô em público, ele dizia que "afastava as gatinhas". O velho tinha um golpe que era eu me fazer de criança perdida e pedir ajudar pra garota que ele queria chegar perto, falando que eu tava perdida e tudo mais. Depois o AK aparecia, soltava a história de que era meu pai e que tinha fugido dele atrás de cachorros ou sorvetes.

Quando o Tio Sammy estava fora da cidade, eu passava as tardes na casa dele. Depois a Bitchtoria insistiu em contratar uma babá, quando o Tio Sammy se matou, a gente voltou pra esse ciclo, até eu ir pra faculdade e vô decidir ir embora pra San Diego, dizendo que era melhor ele passar tempo com pessoas da idade dele. A Bitchtoria não gostava muito quando o AK estava por perto, ela falava que ele era má influência e só vivia chapado por ter experimentado todo tipo de droga que se pudesse imaginar. Hoje, acho que ele era assim por conta do Projeto Chronos, ele acabou ficando meio ablublé das ideias, porque as histórias dele realmente pareciam coisas de viagem de ácido, fora que desde os anos 2000 que ele confunde os nomes das pessoas.

Com essa volta pra 2013, descobri que ele teve um AVC bem suspeito em 2001, sendo que em 2024 e ele estava vivo. Tenho a teoria de que ele acabou descobrindo que o Harris estava envolvido na morte do Big Rich, porque lendo a pasta de investigação dele, dá pra entender o motivo de terem escolhido o AK pra documentar o projeto. Ele é bem minucioso e detalhista, não escapa nada da visão dele, tanto que o AVC foi no dia 13/10/2001, mas a última entrada dele, da foto editada sem o Harris no local do crime foi adicionada dia 10/10/2001. Fico imaginando o que aconteceu nesses três dias que acabaram causando a morte dele.

Esse é meu pai, Richard Kalman (Sylvester Stallone), mas todo mundo chama de Big Rich, porque ele tinha quase 2 metros de altura e era bombadão. Razão da minha terapia e de 90% da minha disforia. Ele era uma criança grande, como o AK falava, porque ele sempre foi extrovertido, fascinado por carros brilhantes e falava merda pra caralho. Tem o coração enorme, e se deixasse, tinha enchido a casa de filhos, mas nunca cuidou de nenhum, nem dos que ele fez nas amantes dele. Ele largou a faculdade quando a Victoria engravidou de mim, mas isso não impediu o Big Rich de ser famoso, ele é o único californiano a ter vencido três vezes as 24 horas de Daytona, em 1992 e 1994 pela Nissan e 1998 pela Ferrari. Esse último foi o que rendeu o dinheiro com o qual ele montou a Kalman Car Shop e depois vendeu o piloto da Desert King Valley, onde ele reformava carros clássicos de gente sem grana, que era a maior enganação que você poderia imaginar.

Originalmente ele sofreu um AVC em 2014, quando fui expulsa do time de futebol feminino por um vídeo fumando maconha na véspera do PAC-12. Big Rich não morreu, mas ficou todo entrevado e o médico disse que era pra evitar o estresse. Agora ele morreu com 19 anos, num acidente de carro numa corrida ilegal, diz o relatório que os cabos do freio foram queimado por algo que o perito foi incapaz de identificar. O AK era o único ue desconfiava que isso não foi acidente.

Quanto a mim e ao Big Rich, a gente ficou mais próximo quando o tio Sammy morreu. Comecei a curtir carros e corridas junto com ele, era legal, principalmente no Brasil, as pessoas paravam toda hora tirar foto com ele, mas nos afastamos quando ele resolveu trazer os bastardinhos, filhos de uma das inúmeras amantes dele, pra morar em Hollywood Hills com a gente. Foi igual a criança quando ganha brinquedo novo, o velho já não presta mais, da noite pro dia, passei a ser invisível pra ele de novo, menos quando fazia alguma cagada. Ai, nesse momento, eu era a vergonha da família, enquanto os dois babaqunhas deitavam e rolavam fazendo ele de trouxa.

Esse é o Tio Sammy, ou Samuel Kalman (Kurt Russell). Ele 2 anos mais novo do que o Big Rich, os dois tem mães diferentes, porque a mãe do Big Rich morreu no parto e a mãe do Tio Sammy só largou ele com vovô e foi embora pra ir atrás do Greatful Dead. Tio Sammy acabou virando meu pai com a morte do Big Rich, o que é estranho pra mim, porque ele e a Victoria se odiavam quando ele era vivo, ela dizia que ele era um maconheiro folgado que nem o AK e ele dizia que ela era uma idosa no corpo de jovem. Ele e o Big Rich tinham uma tretinha, dizia o vovô que era por causa de mulher, mas ele nunca perguntou porque achava que eles tinham que se resolver sozinhos.

Ele sendo meu pai aqui é estranhamente reconfortante? Não sei se é essa palavra. Mas o fato é que mesmo vendo ele como um pai incrivelmente melhor do que o Big Rich foi, dá pra ver que o bicho que comia ele por dentro ainda está lá, sabe, ele só sabe mascarar melhor do que na minha linha temporal, porque agora ele tem muito mais a perder. Acho que em um certo grau ele sabe que não é o Riley James ali, que é alguém diferente, mas ele também não age como se eu fosse diferente da Belle e da Alice (as duas filhas gêmeas dele). Talvez porque é fácil pra um fudido reconhecer outro. Aqui ele tem um emprego numa gravadora, produzindo discos de rock alternativo. Não dá pra ficar rico, mas a condição de vida é melhor do que com o Big Rich.

O AK também costumava dizer que o tio Sammy sempre teve algo que comia ele por dentro, e que piorou quando a namorada secreta terminou o relacionamento por carta. São poucas as lembranças que tenho dele sóbrio, mas ele era uma figura presente, já que ele morava na casa da piscina, quando não estava na estrada com alguma banda famosa. Tio Sammy era músico free lancer, tocou com todo tipo de artista que se pode imaginar, de Guns n Roses a Jannet Jackson passando por bandas indies de beira de estrada e me levava nos mais variados tipos de concertos, sem que minha mãe soubesse. Nós erámos melhores amigos, porque ele não me tratava como uma criança estúpida como os outros adultos. Essa é a minha mãe. Victoria Howard-Kalman (Daphne Zuniga), também conhecida como Bitchtoria ou Whoretoria. Ela tem a idade do Big Rich, eles foram namoradinhos de escola. Quando ele montou a Kalman Car Shop, ela largou o emprego pra administrar a loja e depois largou a bomba na minha mão como "punição" por ter sido demitida da UCLA.

Não vou ficar mentindo aqui dizendo que a nossa relação era maravilhosa porque não era. A gente brigava a maior parte do tempo em 2024, porque ela achava que era minha responsabilidade os bastardinhos do Big Rich. Era comum ela jogar na cara do Big Rich de que se eu não tivesse quebrado a maldição Kalman (o primeiro filho sempre era homem, por isso ela dizia que era maldição) ele talvez não ficasse galinhando por ai, mas é mais fácil jogar a culpa na criança que tocou fogo no tapete da sala sem querer ou que usou a senha da diretora da escola pra olhar as respostas do SAT, do que contar pro marido que ela ligou as trompas, né. Sei lá, acho que ela nunca gostou muito desse negócio de ser mãe, o que é estranho porque ela é uma ótima mãe nessa linha temporal. Quer dizer, agora meio que tenho certeza que o problema era comigo, sabe. Porque a gente funcionava assim: eu fazia uma merda, alguém avisava que eu fiz a merda, ela resolvia a merda terceirizando o problema pra outra pessoa resolver porque ela estava ocupada. Geralmente, era o Tio Sammy, o AK ou a babá, porque o Big Rich tava ocupado brincando de carrinho. É um contraste muito grande com ela aqui, sendo uma ótima mãe

E por último e bem menos importante. Os bastardinhos. Charlie (Milo Ventimiglia) e David Kalman (Jared Padalecki), os gêmeos filhos do Big Rich. Não tenho fotos porque felizmente os dois estorvos não existem mais. Quando o Big Rich descobriu que a Victoria tinha dado um jeito de não engravidar de forma permanente, ela não esperava que ele fosse trazer os dois gêmeos da amante dele pra morar com gente. Isso foi alguns meses antes de eu ir pra UCLA.

Eles tinham 12 anos na época e tem passe livre pra fazer qualquer merda porque Big Rich não deixa ninguém brigar com eles, mesmo ele estando todo entrevado. A maior parte dos problemas financeiros que me levaram a começar a traficar tem a ver com eles, eles não tem a menor dó de passar o cartão de crédito e eu que me vire pra resolver, porque a Victoria simplesmente apertou o foda-se pros dois. Charlie acha que pode ser piloto, mas dirige que nem uma velhota com Parkinson e o David foi do time da UCLA, nunca jogou uma partida se quer, mas você acreditaria que ele é a estrela do time de tão confiante. Espero que isso continue quando a gente voltar.
