I love this heartwarming movie. The art felt refreshing. The music ending was so relaxing I closed my eyes to listen to it. I'm happy for Naranbayar, Odon Chimeg and Sarah, Luqman for having a peaceful ending. 🥺💜🪻

I'm finally reading Kin no Kuni Mizu no Kuni by Iwamoto Nao, and seeing the top right panel in the very first chapter put a smile on my face, because I know that exact place.

“Kin no Kuni Mizu no Kuni” The Movie and Trailer

The first full-length trailer for Kin no Kuni Mizu no Kuni was made available on the game's official website. The cast is shown in the video together with Kotone's "Brand New World," which serves as the movie's theme song. Madhouse will produce Kin no Kuni Mizu no Kuni, which is slated to debut on January 27 in Japanese theatres.

Due regni in perenne conflitto e al centro, una delicata storia d’amore.

Finalmente possiamo dare una nuova occhiata al prossimo film d’animazione di casa MADHOUSE (Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card, Overlord), basato sull’omonimo manga josei di Nao Iwamoto, che con il nuovo trailer guadagna anche il titolo internazionale, fortunatamente letterale, di “GOLD KINGDOM AND WATER KINGDOM” (Kin no Kuni Mizu no Kuni).

Il video fissa inoltre il debutto della pellicola per il 27 gennaio 2023 e anticipa “Brand New World”, uno dei tre temi portanti del film cantati da Kotone; gli altri due brani si intitolano rispettivamente “Yasashii Yokan” e “Love Birds”.

La regia del film è ad opera di Kotono Watanabe (Btooom!), mentre la sceneggiatura è curata da Fumi Tsubota (12-Sai: Chiccha na Mune no Tokimeki, Hugtto! Precure)

Mitsuyuki Masuhara (Ace of Diamond, Okko’s Inn) si occupa di supervisionare il comparto animazioni e la colonna sonora porta la firma di Evan Call (Josée la Tigre e i Pesci, Violet Evergarden).

C'erano una volta due regni rivali che non andavano d'accordo. Ogni giorno litigavano per questioni insignificanti. Quando una disputa sulla rimozione delle deiezioni canine si trasformò in una guerra, Dio intervenne prontamente, indicando ai leader delle due nazioni di combinare un matrimonio fra la ragazza più bella e il giovane più intelligente dei rispettivi regni.

È così che Sarah, la principessa del Paese A, incontra Naranbayar, il principe del Paese B. Mentre i due fingono di essere una felice coppia di sposi per proteggere la pace, gradualmente iniziano ad innamorarsi veramente l’una dell’altro.

Gli 8 capitoli del manga sono stati pubblicati sulla rivista Flowers fra il 2014 e il 2016, venendo poi raccolti da Shogakukan in un volume unico.

After I watch this I'll probably be checking to see just how similar/different the manga was for things like line choices,added moments,and such.Watching this is mainly to help understand the general pacing flow and voices I should be envisioning.
