The pilgrims’ hymn for Kimiidera Temple (紀三井寺) from a hymnal for the thirty-three temples of the western pilgrimage circuit dedicated to Kannon Bodhisattva (観音菩薩)

My own rough, tentative translation follows:

Number Two: Kimiisan Kongōhōji Temple (World Savior Kannon school) in Kaisō District, Kii Province

Kimiidera Town, Wakayama City

A hymn for Eleven-Faced Kannon:

At Kimiidera, From our faraway hometown Finally we’re here. The flowery Capital Must be fairly near as well.

A copy of the Kumano Kanshin Jukkai Mandara (熊野観心十界曼荼羅), a mandala depicting the ten states of existence as generated by permutations of consciousness, dating to the late 16th or early 17th century and in the collection of Kimiidera Temple (紀三井寺) in Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture

In the upper center can be seen the character for heart/mind (心) with Amida Buddha (阿弥陀如来) hovering over it and an arch encapsulating the human life cycle above, then Jizō Bodhisattva (地蔵菩薩) at the limbo for departed children surrounded by the realms of animals & hungry ghosts & warring asuras in the lower center and finally a dreadful variety of hells running along the bottom & lower sides
