jace/jason kim

Jason Kim, better known by his stage name Jace, was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 1, 2000 at the turn of the century. He was raised by loving parents who immediately supported his dream of being on stage. In late 2013, he was accepted into JYP Entertainment and moved to South Korea alone. He was one of the youngest trainees and immediately captured the hearts of multiple older trainees including Bang Chan (Stray Kids) and most of GOT7.

In 2017, he was heavily considered for the Stray Kids survival program, but was cut from the lineup due to JYPE not wanting to debut a group with ten members. He maintains a good friendship with the group to this day and has said he isn't upset over not debuting with them because he doesn't feel he would fit into the concept they've built for themselves. He has appeared in multiple live streams and videos with Stray Kids, even before his own debut in DREAMDAY.

He was the first member of DREAMDAY announced on June 1st, 2020.

daniel/gao zixin

Born on December 5, 1998 in Chongqing, China, Daniel had no idea that he would end up falling in love with performing. His family moved to Montreal, Canada when he was 10 years old, living there for five years and taking a multitude of vocal lessons and even starring in a few theatrical productions before his family returned to China. He decided to audition under JYPE at his mother's suggestion and in 2017, he was accepted after multiple rounds of auditions.

He has talked about his friendship with, now former, JYPE idol Jackson Wang. Daniel has talked about feeling a disconnect between him and his fellow trainees despite being close with them. Jace had taken notice of this one day and had managed to talk Jackson into meeting with Daniel, just so the younger could have someone who related to him.

Daniel was the third member of DREAMDAY announced.

choi junmyeon

Junmyeon was born on November 2, 1999 in Yeoju, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea and has two younger brothers, born in 2001 and 2006 respectively. From a young age, Junmyeon had a deep interest in music production and lyric writing, beginning to write songs from the very moment he could properly write. He often shares these songs with fans, speaking about how much he's grown.

He competed on the second season of Produce 101, the survival program that debuted Wanna One in 2017, but ended the show ranked in 12th place, barely missing the chance to debut. Fans of the show were extatic to learn that he would be debuting in JYPE's newest boy group and even more so when they learned that he, alongside Sanghun, were the main lyricists and producers for the group.

Junmyeon was the sixth member of DREAMDAY announced.

kang hyunki

Hyunki was born on February 28, 2001 in Seoul, South Korea. He has an older sister, born in 1996, and the two of them were raised by a single mother. He often says that this is the reason why he's so comfortable with his own self presentation and masculinity, often times wearing more feminine clothing. He's spoken on the fact that clothing should make you feel better about yourself multiple times, and often shares fashion tips with fans.

He joined JYP Entertainment in early 2018 and despite being mostly introverted, made quick friends with most of the other trainees. After his debut in DREAMDAY, many fans were often worried about his low weight and how he never seemed to gain weight. Eventually, it got to the point where he himself had to do a livestream in which he addressed the entire thing, explaining that he's always been a thin kid and even sharing photos from his childhood to prove it. After reassuring fans that he was okay, it was just more difficult for him to put on weight, fans were content in leaving the issue alone for the most part and only occasionally reminded him to take care of himself.

Hyunki was the second member of DREAMDAY announced.

lee yeonghwan

Yeonghwan was born on March 7, 2002 in Jeju Island, South Korea and has two siblings, born in 1999 and 2008. He has always been obsessed with Kpop and has idolized groups such as EXO and GOT7 from a young age, confirming multiple times that Baekyun is his ult bias and even that he used to have an extensive photocard collection of the EXO member. Fans have speculated that he still has most of it as they have caught glimpses of Baekyun's photocards in the back of videos and lives before.

He auditioned to multiple companies, specifically JYP Entertainment multiple times before he finally was accepted in 2015 at the age of 13. He was very quickly taken in by Jace and Bang Chan as they both could see themselves in him. For a long time, he was used to being the youngest, but has said that he really enjoys having members who are younger than him that rely on him.

Yeonghwan was the fourth member of DREAMDAY announced.

park sunghan

Sunghan was born on May 29, 2002 in Daegu, South Korea and has two older sisters and a younger brother, born in 1995, 1998, and 2004 respectively. Growing up, he was mainly into dance and underground rappers, J-Hope being a very large inspiration for him for a long time. When he was accepted under JYP Entertainment in 2016, that was his main focus and it wasn't until he met Junmyeon in 2018 that he was introduced to the world of lyric writing and producing. With Junmyeon's help, he was able to refine his skills before their debut and is now working with the older as one of the main producers for the group.

He often comes across as intimidating because of his introverted nature. The rest of the members agree that he's the most introverted member, the textbook definition of an introvert, and so it's difficult for him to always be keeping up an "idol image". However, as he's gotten more comfortable in front of cameras, fans have really been able to see his cute side. He has thanked fans for allowing him time to adjust and always waiting for him.

He was the fifth member of DREAMDAY announced.

matthew/ matthieu ahn

Matthew was born on February 14, 2004 in Montpellier, France. He has one step-sister, born in 2004. After his mother's death when he was six years old, his father remarried when he was 13. Matthew doesn't often speak about his family and fans have assumed that he has a rather strained relationship with them due to the fact that they have never been spotted supporting DREAMDAY despite the group having performed in France before.

He had the shortest training period in DREAMDAY, only training for around 8 months before debuting. Because of this and the age gap, the rest of the group tends to be overprotective of him which he always tries to pretend he doesn't like. He has talked about the fact that he genuinely considers DREAMDAY a family and has said that the members have been there for him through a lot, only furthering the idea of his strained relationship with his family.

Matthew was the seventh and final member of DREAMDAY announced.

known simply as the soldiers, they carried large swords on their hips at all times, not once letting go of them, ready to cause chaos and high treason against the king, the lowly kim daejung, successor to the great king, kim sanghun. unsatisfied with his corrupted ways, the soldiers went against his word, bringing food to those who needed it and stealing from the rich. saviors to the poor, monsters to the highborns. they would later become part of kim namjoon's personal guard, several tears after his succession to the throne.

park jimin: the leader of the trio of fighters. his word is law, anything he commands is to be done, everything he does must be completed to the most minuscule detail.

kim taehyung: second-in-command. his looks are most prized amongst the soldiers, being able to charm those stubborn, and his deep voice, like honey, attracted the wives of the men, all too easily like flies in a venus flytrap.

jeon jungkook: the fighter. the strongest amongst the soldiers, he is able to take down anyone who stands in their way, using his baby-like to his very advantage. no one would suspect that such an innocent-looking thing like him, with his doe eyes and bunny smile, would be able to slaughter men twice his size.

𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗲𝘁𝘀.

known to be part of the kingsguard, they were part of king kim namjoon's personal guard when he succeeded his corrupted father, king daejung. with fatal weapons and even lethal words, they were the ones who took over when king namjoon was traveling through his country, finding troubles that needed his attention.

min yoongi: the commander of the guard. a quick thinker who isn't afraid of talking sense into the king's head, his well-thought-out plans and schemes have helped the throne stay in control of the country, and continue to stay stronger for decades to come.

jung hoseok: the king's childhood best friend. if it weren't for him, king namjoon's days will be plagued with worry and sadness. however, despite his kindly appearance and ways, he is still a strong verbal fighter and an even better swordsman.

kim seokjin: the second in command. he isn't afraid of arguing with the king, and his words could be heard all around the castle as he dissed the king's poor behavior, which, thankfully, happened once in a blue moon.

kim namjoon: when coming into power after his predecessor's mistakes, namjoon had much to fix. chaos ruled the realm, the soldiers stalked the rich and took control of the poor, and the economy had collapsed long ago with very few plans to fix it. but, after a few years and many actions and laws later, the realm was once again a stronghold and the people of his kingdom were prospering.

Nesta sexta, dia 29/07, as autoridades vieram a público para entregar mais informações sobre o caso The Match e F4M Ent., que envolvia uma lista de crimes. 

TW: Menção a consumo de drogas e desvio de dinheiro.

No caso de consumo de drogas e desvio de dinheiro, o caso ainda está em andamento, com a falta de reconhecimento facial de um dos envolvidos, no entanto, os demais passaram por julgamentos no último mês. 

Os acionistas Park Eunkyung (45), Song Haewon (37), Park Heechul (63), Jo Sanghun (32) e Jo Hajun (52) foram todos condenados a 4 anos de prisão pelo consumo de drogas e 10 anos pelo desvio de dinheiro, cobrando individualmente também uma multa de 155,000,000 de wons (cerca de 382 mil dólares) pelo consumo de drogas e a multa de ressarcimento aos funcionários prejudicados. 

O cantor de ballad Song Jihoon, gerenciado pela The Match Entertainment também foi confirmado como um dos envolvidos do consumo de drogas, sendo condenado a 3 anos de prisão e multa de 155,000,000 de won (cerca de 382 mil dólares), demonstrando arrependimento e não envolvimento no caso de desvio.

Dois funcionários da F4M, Kang Sohyun e Kim Hanmin e um funcionário da The Match, Kim Donghyun foram sentenciados a 14 anos de prisão sem direito a condicional pelos crimes de chantagem e crimes sexuais online. Foi constatado com a ajuda de câmeras de CCTV, horários comuns e histórico dos computadores de cada um nas empresas a participação no crime contra “A”, que atualmente precisa de acompanhamento psicológico devido ao trauma. 

A empresa desvinculou todos os funcionários que trabalhavam na área administrativa e abriu uma ação contra eles pelas perdas internas devido a suas ações. O julgamento aconteceu na última terça-feira, dia 26/07.

(ENTREVISTA) Entrevista da Taeyeon no Photobook da Persona Tour!

Confira a parte 1 da entrevista da Taeyeon no seu photobook da Persona Tour.

PERSONA: máscaras teatrais, no sentido de mostrar vários lados.

Seja sua 'PERSONA' Uma diva que é uma combinação de emoções poderosas e forte appeal. Uma nuvem que envolve o ouvinte. O charme fatal dessa mulher fatal, o charme da Taeyeon é realmente diversificado. Como se ela usasse várias máscaras para representar diferentes pessoas, ela desenvolve um palco cheio apenas dela. A maneira da artista Taeyeon completar a PERSONA.  

Pergunta: O nome "PERSONA" é realmente impressionante. O que você acha dele? Taeyeon: O nome foi uma sugestão do diretor Hwang SangHun, que dirigiu o show. Ele viu um filme com o mesmo nome e guardou na mente, pensando que combinaria comigo. Quando ouvi pela primeira vez, realmente gostei. Até agora eu fiz muito trabalho em ter muitas pessoas ouvindo vários gêneros, e fiquei feliz, pensando que era um conceito que eu poderia expressar várias aparências.

Pergunta: Que tipos de 'PERSONA' você quis expressar? Taeyeon: "Eu, que está escondida sob uma máscara" é o tipo de conceito que eu quis mostrar. Então para não quebrar o ritmo do show, durante cada stage, eu pensei que seria bom mostrar meus diferentes charmes. Nós também fizemos a setlist com muito cuidado. Como se não fosse apenas uma pessoa fazendo o show, e sim como se tivessem sido várias pessoas, era o sentimento que queríamos passar. Como mostrar uma pessoa com múltiplas personalidades, colocando-as para fora.

Pergunta: Por outro lado, usar máscaras também tem o propósito de esconder algo atrás delas. Tem alguma aparência que você não quer mostrar no palco? Taeyeon: Uma aparência despreparada. Eu nunca pensei em algo externo. Só que eu não quero mostrar uma aparência desconfortável. Eu tenho que ter certeza que estou preparada para subir no palco, e que estou confiante.

Pergunta: Quais são as diferenças entre preparar um show junto com as integrantes e preparar um show solo? Taeyeon: Acho que a diferença na concentração é grande. Ao fazer um show solo, a todo momento você precisa estar extremamente concentrado.  Quando faço show com as integrantes, tem os momentos em que rimos olhando a cara uma da outra, olhamos as outras dançando ou cantando, são momentos em que eu observo como espectadora. É como, como posso dizer? Um momento relaxante, descontraído. Mesmo que seja difícil, o fardo e peso pode ser dividido entre as integrantes. Já no show solo eu tenho que preencher o palco sozinha, e cantar sem descanso. Porque todos estão olhando apenas para mim, eu estava um pouco nervosa porque eu não conseguia me concentrar.

Pergunta: Qual você acha que é a maior diferença entre seu primeiro show, "Butterfly Kiss", e o seu segundo show, "PERSONA"? Taeyeon: Na época da Butterfly Kiss, eu era como uma criança muito nova. Como o sentimento de ser um bebê vindo ao mundo pela primeira vez, vendo tudo e se impressionando. Por outro lado, a "PERSONA" era essa criança crescendo pouco a pouco, então senti como se eu estivesse olhando para mim mesma. Enquanto preparava o show, acho que pensei muito na pessoa 'Kim Taeyeon'. Se "I" era a música que representa a Butterfly Kiss, dessa vez é "I Got Love" que representa o show.

Pergunta: Você já tem muita experiência em shows, parece que você sabe um pouco sobre dirigir (o show) e conselhos nas produções. Taeyeon: Na verdade, eu dependo completamente do diretor e espero pelas ideias. Sou o tipo de pessoa que foca completamente em cantar no palco. (risadas) Eu pensava muito em como o diretor queria que eu me mostrasse no show. Eu estava em uma posição de entender e receber ideias dele. Teve um momento em que eu quis tirar essa distância física entre eu os fãs. Em 'Make Me Love You' e muitas outras músicas, eu tentei me aproximar dos fãs pelas pistas usando o guindaste, e fomos capazes de nos aproximar. Em adição à isso, quando vou para o palco sozinha, eu me pergunto e penso em como posso transformar o palco em algo visualmente rico.

Pergunta: Tem alguma performance que você pensou: "eu realmente quero fazê-la perfeitamente, com força e mostra o meu máximo"? Taeyeon: Eu acho que "I Got Love" é uma música com um grande peso, tem também uma pegada mais dark e atmosfera sonhadora, então eu quis expressar isso propriamente. Para fazer uma boa performance também. Durante os ensaios, tivemos a mentalidade de querer torná-la um pouco mais perfeita, então a modificamos até o fim, desde a iluminação até a linha do ritmo.

Pergunta: Se é o caso, então você tem alguma performance que mais gosta? Taeyeon: Eu gosto dos arranjos da performance de "11:11" e "Why".  Na verdade, a ideia de misturar as duas músicas foi de um fã. Eu vi um vídeo que esse fã postou na internet mixando as duas músicas e adorei muito. Imediatamente mandei o link para o diretor. A resposta da equipe foi positiva e colocamos no show. Porque pareceu uma performance feita pelos fãs,  da preparação da performance até minha apresentação no palco, pareceu que eu cantei com um sentimento de amor. Eu quero encontrar este fã! Quero ter essa oportunidade de agradecê-lo.

Pergunta: Por outro lado, tem algo que você se arrepende? Taeyeon: Me arrependo um pouco de não ter podido mostrar mais performances. O principal desse show foi o acompanhamento de uma banda nas músicas. Com isso, tem muitas performances que se encaixariam brilhantemente. Eu exclui as coisas formais o máximo possível, porque eu queria preencher o palco com coisas naturais. Da próxima vez, com músicas que se encaixam com boas performances, quero mostrar performances brilhantes.

Pergunta: Qual foi o primeiro pensamento que veio à sua cabeça quando encerrou o primeiro show? Taeyeon: Tiveram muito mais dificuldades nesse show que na Butterfly Kiss. Principalmente na parte vocal das músicas, que requerem muita concentração e força. Então depois do primeiro show, pensei: "Vamos controlar bem minha condição e terminar os shows remanescentes com cuidado!".

Pergunta: Com a PERSONA, você recebeu os recordes de "Primeira cantora coreana solo a fazer um show na Tailândia", "Primeira cantora estrangeira a ter 3 dias de shows em Taiwan" e "Primeira cantora a ter 2 dias de show em Hong Kong". O que você acha desses recordes? Taeyeon: Mais do que tudo, me sinto grata. Honestamente, mais do que receber o título de 'ser a primeira', foi muito mais importante para mim ter fãs que vieram para me ver e torcer por mim em cada show. Então mais do que por significado na escala e no número de shows  que eu fiz, fiquei feliz em poder estar junto com os fãs através de várias performances. Com isso, agora eu tenho o senso  de responsabilidade de mostrar performances ainda melhores de agora em diante. Com uma preparação dura, vou explodir o teto através das minhas músicas no próximo show. (risadas)

Pergunta: Se você fosse avaliar seu desempenho na Persona, como seria? Taeyeon: Já que estou avaliando a mim mesma, estou pessoalmente um tanto arrependida. Então da próxima vez vou me concentrar um pouco mais porque quero mostrar uma aparência ainda mais legal.

Pergunta: Se você tiver um próximo show, tem alguma aparência especial que você gostaria de mostrar? Taeyeon: Eu não sei quando vai ser, mas quero mostrar um show com músicas que eu criei. Ainda tem muitos dias para viver, então enquanto o tempo passa, quero que aconteça naturalmente. Eu também gostaria de fazer uma performance única como num show Guerrila*.

*Guerrila são shows realizados em locais inesperados e sem aviso prévio.

here’s to my stupid impulsiveness these muses i intend to add in the near future once i stop being lazy and busied by school...the only 2 people that don’t have double names are Kiwoo and Akihiko because of their age ( but most of the others have lived prolonged lives )

as y’all know, akihiko is my onmyouji muse, he’s a 19 yo who gave up everything to learn his family craft to protect himself. along the way, he’s made some friends who he’s spared/saved/befriended and they protect him from harm ( some of them, he didn’t even know they were youkai until he turned 18 ).

meet akihiko, the descendant of kamo no yasunori ( fc: adachi yuto )

meet kiwoo, an animator in seoul, he goes where his interests takes him. he brings art to life with his blood ( fc: kim hyojong aka e’dawn )

meet baek soohyuk ( nee daisuke ), a baku ( dream-eater ) who’s moved between japan, korea and china to prevent people from finding out he doesn’t age. ( fc: yang hongseok )

meet eunjeong ( nee kazuo ), a yuki onna -- don’t be fooled by what he is, he’s not as cold hearted as the literature presents and he’s definitely not a woman ( it just so happened his mother birthed a male to carry her lineage ). ( fc: ko shinwon )

meet jihun ( nee tsubasa ), the guardian of cardinal direction south and knowledge and of the summer season; he’s the entity known as suzaku ( by the japanese ) and the vermilion bird ( by the chinese ), don’t mistake him for the phoenix. ( fc: jo jinho )

meet yeonggi ( nee yuuta ), the guardian of the cardinal direction east and of the spring season, a symbol for the emperor, he’s the entity known as seiryuu ( by the japanese ) and the azure dragon ( by the chinese ). ( fc: lee hwitaek )

meet susumu ( as named by akihiko ), a yama-inu that previously wandered the path that lead up to the mountain behind akihiko’s home. his lore portrays him either as a dangerous animal that won’t hesitate to rip lost travelers to shreds or a benevolent being that guides lost hikers to safety...he’s akihiko’s best friend so one doesn’t have to worry about getting ripped to shreds ( unless harm comes to his ‘master’ ). meet minsu ( nee yoshi ), the guardian of the cardinal direction north, of faith, happiness and longevity and of the winter season, he is the entity known as genbu ( by the japanese ) and the black warrior ( by the chinese ). he’s know for his long life and easy-going nature, never finding any reason to rush in his life. ( fc: yeo changgu )

meet sanghun ( nee yoshiro ), the guardian of the cardinal direction west, of the virtue of righteousness and the autumn season, he is the entity known as byakko ( by the japanese ) and the white tiger ( by the chinese ). his milky white skin alludes to his white fur and his calm nature towards his wisdom. ( fc: yan an )

meet yeongsu ( nee shiori ), a kind creature who has the ability to heal those who are injured or renew life forces, he is a  symbol of luck, good omens, protection, prosperity, success, and longevity. a rare creature, he’s always being sought after for his abilities. ( fc: kang hyunggu ).
