Rush Perfection is a killjoy without a crew, living in a dilapidated house near the landmark and community of Coyote Gulch in Zone Three, Lithium County, California.

Rush’s obnoxious personality and aggressive tendencies enforce his status as a loner. At the crashtrack, his constant showing-off and desire to be “the best” has led to him trying to get a leg up on the competition by any means necessary, including sabotage, tampering with results, and at least once alleged instance of attempted murder.

In his mind, anyone not actively fighting against BLi is just as bad as the company, including neutrals in the zones, and anyone who has formerly lived in Battery City, killjoy or otherwise.

He has fewer enemies than he thinks; because of how he acts, people usually just try to ignore him.

In a one-sided rivalry with @koburakodomo; the other ‘Joy doesn’t know Rush even exists.

hey so I’m kinda new to all of the killjoy stuff but I’m curious what are the differences between the zones like physically and socially?

So, physically, the further out the more radiation there is. Zones 5 and 6 have more areas of radiation than any other. There's not so much to find in Zones 1 and 6, since 1 is most dangerous when it comes to BLI since it's closer to the City, and 6 has too much radiation.

Socially, the slang kind of differs, and some people have different attitudes. Some words, like Chapter 11 (meaning gay guy), are more used in certain zones - in this case it's Zones 4 and 5.

I'd love people to add to this with headcanons! Personally, I imagine that a lot of the people in the far out Zones are much older, the ones who can't fight so much anymore, leaving more room in the inner Zones for the kids to fight out.

It’s been playing the same Rage Against The Machine song on loop as it works in the garage, making some adjustments on its gauntlets.

They’re an extremely useful addition in fights, the taser function is fantastic, and being able to punch someone with the force of being hit by a car is a huge advantage…

…but Kobra wants to make a different, slightly-less-powerful pair to use while breakdancing. Handsprings aren’t easy, but he doesn’t wanna launch himself into orbit by accident.
