I try my best anyway, Season/Series 03, hey take a shot every time u read the words 'soft' or 'softly' in this fic, and try not to die of alcohol poisoning Summary:

"You're in my house." It wasn't a question, more of a statement of general acceptance.

"Yeah, I...yes." Eve knew she was way out of her dept here, but it was also too late to turn around now, and frankly, she didn't want to. This side of Villanelle was one she hasn't seen before, and would maybe, probably, never see again.

"Why are you here, Eve?"

She would've expected a teasing tone, maybe even flirtatious, if this had been like any of their previous encounters, but Villanelle just sounds so tired.

"I'm-" Eve's breath hitches. I'm here because someone tried to kill my husband. I'm here because I was following Dasha. I'm here because I wanted to see you. "I'm here for you."

 Or, an alternate version on the ending of 3x6 where Eve follows Dasha to Villanelle's home. Includes copious amounts of crying, an even larger amount of touching, average breakfast food, and that one Florence + The Machine song.

Hey so idk if anyone still cares about Killing Eve (specially season 3), but I wrote 9k words about it so. Bon appetit

the last scene of season three of killing eve is definitely, like, the true ending of killing eve, isn't it?? you can feel that everything builds to that conversation that they have where they're really honest and open and understanding with each other, and villanelle being the one to initiate walking away out of love for eve shows her growth, and the absolutely stunning choice of MUSIC and the EMOTIONS on their BEAUTIFUL FACES and the TRYING TO WALK AWAY and the TURNING BACK and that magical little chime of hope that rings us out into the end credits. like, that's the absolute perfect moment to end that story on that absolutely sums up everything. the weight of what's happened and the promise of the future; the fact that they just can't stay away from each other presented as something beautiful and golden in that moment instead of something ruinous. i love their time together in the finale of season four because their chemistry is so good and it's so incredible to finally get to see them having fun together and loving each other, but everything felt so off all season, and the end is horrible and empty, and i think it's because they were trying to extend the story past its natural ending, which was that scene on the bridge at the end of season three. i almost wish i could magically eternal sunshine season four's existence out of my brain, except that i don't know if i'm strong enough to part with all the romancey moments from the season four finale. aughhhh!

but truly: killing eve has the perfect series finale, it's just that it happened a season too early.

I love wuthering heights. I bought a copy for myself on my 16th birthday and have been slow reading it for 12 years now, including a buddy read w my habibi @halalgirlmeg so I know exactly what kind of garbage fire emarald fennels edgelord misogynist ass is going to produce with that film. They will play Heathcliff and Cathy as star crossed lovers, they'll do poor boy rich girl, it'll be racist as fuck and the abuse will be egregious and drawn out. that woman has no idea how to tell a story or how to practice care when it comes to narratives around abuse. much like lolita I don't think anybody should be making a movie about wuthering heights unless it's a student film by a gaggle of gay Brontë nerds who have empathy and awareness. rant overr I'm going to bed

also okay so what would you say eve is? Is she a sociopath? She clearly has emotions and remorse so probably not <- knows Jack shit about psychology. But she’s off for sure

very valid to like the second season better than the first I really feel like it’s an amazing season and the ending to that season really should’ve been the end of the show honestly

Literally the only thing I remember about the 3rd season first episode is they killed Kenny and I was like oh fuck this season.

Okayyyy so I will TOTALLY give you my full Villanelle psychoanalysis, but it will take forever to type up and probably be very long so send me another ask as a reminder and I’ll do it there?? <3

As for Eve, I think she’s a super interesting character because I don’t think she has a personality disorder or anything like Villanelle. I think she definitely veers towards sociopathic tendencies , especially as the seasons go on, but that’s different than actually having a disorder. Much lower on the spectrum.

I think Eve is an example of a woman who, like a lot of people, has darker interests and is a true crime fan, so to speak, but unlike a lot of people, was given both the motive, means, and opportunity to truly explore those darker interests, fantasies and the like that most of us would never have the chance or dare to actually act on. And due to like, the trauma and shit of everything she got involved in ended up going kind of off the rails a bit at some points.

But yeah, Eve is very emotional and does feel guilt/remorse when it comes to her actions so is therefore not a full on psychopath or sociopath, so despite your lack of psych knowledge, you were right! (I’m still a year away from graduating uni, so I’m not an expert lol)

I can totally compile a list of season 4 moments that Don’t Suck. And I would LOVE to hear you screaming in my inbox about season 3 because I am incredibly curious what you will think. I love love love Villanelle’s character as a whole and I’m curious to hear your opinions of her, too, just in general.

(that’s so real though about dropping after 3.01… pretty sure I did that too the first time.

god killing eve is so good. shame it ended after the first 2 seasons i would’ve loved to see where it was going but I bet eve and villanelle found each other and like had gay sex or something. and all the characters were fine and kenny won the lottery. and eve and villanelle stopped interacting with the feds and moved to iceland. to have more gay sex
