Laura’s Fashion Opinions of the Day
Kate: Love the new Rupert Sanderson pumps and that the Aspinal earrings seem to be her new go-to (anything but Kiki I’m a fan of). The Oscar de la Renta suit was never my fave.  Something about the fabric and silhouette combination doesn’t *quite* work for me, but it gets the job done.
Meghan: I know this is back to neutrals, but I low-key love it.  It has a mix of different shades and fabrics that I think add interest.  I think that coat is so chic too. Love that she went for a bigger bag, too.  One minor quibble is that I think I would’ve liked it more with maybe navy or burgundy pumps just for a bit of contrast, but overall this is Meghan’s style done right IMO.

Custom Book Printing NYC: Monograph Monomania
Tumblr media
Book Monograph Printing that looks as fine as the art itself
Lets say you’re a Renaissance (Wo)man thriving and striving in New York City. Here, most people are. If nothing else, NYC is mecca to those of the hyphenated professional persuasion. You’ve got your forever-in-style Super Thick, Super Black Business Cards in your wallet and in pockets across town. You’ve got Stationery sets for each business endeavor, and your personal Letterheads are whipping out of your studio space faster than springtime hummingbirds lit up on B12.
So you’ve come to this Midtown Manhattan Print Shop for more in depth printing:
You’ve already got your custom Lookbook printed to showcase this season’s blushing fashion collection. All those poems you wrote during that tedious spell of somnambulistic lucid dreaming are saddle stitched into a sexily-slim self-published volume of poetry. And sure enough, those trying times were worth it because that indie-press letterpress Book is collecting all the Etsy clicks Bushwick has to offer; your friend at The Strand is going to feature it on one of those display tables they removed all those pesky book cases to make room for. Naturally, the aforementioned are passion projects so you support those endeavors with a robust career in the artisanal candle industry—that glossy Marketing Booklet elaborating the latest scent profiles has got you into over half the retailers on your list. Finally, your midnight gig showing penthouse listings to international oligarchs without a fixed time-zone has added more zeros to your bank account than you can manage: all thanks to the illustrative power of those Real Estate Promotional Books & Deluxe Floor Plan Printing you had your agency draw up.
Now with all that bank you can finally outsource the responsibilities of your multi-level cottage industry and focus your hyphenate-hustle on a career in the arts. Full time! Performance, illustration, interactive gallery installations, drawing, photography, masterful printmaking, graphic design, painting—thy destiny is an interdisciplinary one.

SPEC IT OUT
Whether you are looking to commemorate a gallery show, an artist, an entire movement, or your own portfolio, Publicide has the custom book printing services for all your fine art printing needs. We're on (edge paint-dripped) hand to round out the rest of your printed art-world provisions, such as Event Programs, Museum Maps, Exhibition Catalogues, even mounted Gallery Placards.
Once you have developed the content for your Monograph printing with your go-to graphic designer, send us the PDF and we will begin the process of bringing your book to life.
While leather bound hardcovers serve more gravitas than Guernica, we’re fond of all binding options. Saddle stitching or a perfect bind will demonstrate the enviable qualities of Neenah Folding Board, or any other of our durably deluxe Cover Stocks. Silky to the touch Touché paper is sure to entice anyone flipping through your work. Few can resist the chic 1990s allure of the Spiral Bind. To stun all onlookers do as Marina Abramovic would, make the stark choice of tone on tone printing with White Ink on white paper, or black Foil Stamping on Premium Black Paper. For a similar effect with added dimension, go forth with a blind Emboss. For a full trip, select a Holographic Foil as your endpaper and slip in…
It’s true, we never miss an opportunity to judge a book by its cover—however, the contents are key. Make sure your design file is set to a boundary-pushing DPI for Full Color digital printing with troupe l’oeil results that evoke the [insert Florentine Chapel fresco here].  Choose Cotton text paper for superior pigment registration. Linen and Vellum stock evoke the organic nature of Kiki Smith. Eggshell varnishes add a sensible sheen to the page. Spot UV Gloss treatments add a glassy finish that resonates beyond the surface– if you don’t believe us, ask Jeff Koons.
It’s a world of books! Call yourself Immersed and email our NYC Print Shop to get the ink running on your next run of Monograph Printing.

I want to… discover my perfect holiday destination
By Nicholas Dean on Jun 07, 2019 in Asia, Bahamas, Caribbean, Croatia, Eastern Europe, Europe, Featured, France, Greece, Guadeloupe, Italy, Malaysia, Oceania, Pacific Islands, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Spain, Thailand, Western Europe, Worldwide
Seeking travel inspiration can often be daunting and is dependent upon countless factors. Focusing on the absolute basics of what you really do want to do can lead to discovery of the best opportunities. Here we explore some key destinations that, quite simply, hit the spot.
Escape
The spot: Southeast Asia
To truly get lost, take a dip in the Andaman Sea. From the Malaysian archipelago of Langkawi to Phuket in Thailand, floating fishing villages hover on turquoise seas, dramatic rock formations plunge from jungle-clad hills and deserted beaches rival any in the world. The best part? You are likely be completely alone.
Explore
The spot: Ibiza
Drop anchor in a deserted cove by the magical Es Vedra rock. Hike up to the Se Pechera fort, taking a gourmet picnic. Enjoy some sundowners at Café del Mar before heading to Ibiza Old Town for an atmospheric dinner.
Regroup
The spot: Grenadines
The Grenadines are totally tropical, from lush landscapes to velvet beaches. Spend time sailing remote anchorages and hidden coves, hopping between breath-taking isles. Wander through verdant rainforests, where banana and coconut palms sway in the breeze. Swim with turtles, sunbathe on sandbars and let life lilt along on Caribbean time.
Relax
The spot: Ile de Porquerolles, French Riviera
While many head to the French Riviera, the Ile de Porquerolles is a place apart. Enjoy peace at secluded Plage de Notre Dame, backed by oak forests, lavender bushes, and olive, fig and pine trees. Have impromptu seafood barbeques, swim, dive and end the day with beach games and chilled rosé at sunset.
Indulge
The spot: Florida & The Bahamas
Between the sparkling glamour of Florida and the remote, unblemished beaches of the Bahamas, it’s only 100 nautical miles to sail. Ideal dual destinations to indulge a multitude of senses: from the gorgeous Abaco Islands to the vibrant nightlife at The Ocean Club. Start and end your yachting adventure in Florida to combine bustling marinas with superlative shopping and indulgent spas.
Party
The Spot: St Barts
With an exceptional landscape bursting with natural beauty and stunning beaches combined with luxurious amenities set in a chic, relaxed environment, St Barts still retains commensurate exclusivity. It’s reputation as a prime Caribbean party hub is due somewhat to the many prestigious events that take place here but also to the outstanding nightlife hotspots offering anything from stylish entertainment to a rockstar vibe.
Have fun
The spot: Mykonos, Greece
Where glamour meets the simple life, visit the boho-retro beach at Agios Sostis, with icing sugar sand and impossibly clear water. A lunchtime barbecue at the hidden gem of Kiki’s Taverna is compulsory while boutique entertainment comes alive at sunset. Make way to fun-packed Super Paradise Beach Club or head to Matogianni Street in town for guaranteed dusk ’til dawn action.
Enjoy watersports
The spot: Sardinia
Kayak from Cala Gonone beach and paddle the coastline’s secluded beaches. Appealingly inaccessible, beautiful Cala Luna is one of the best snorkelling beaches in Sardinia, dedicated kite and windsurfers will enjoy the wave-strewn double bay at Porto Pollo and great surf breaks at Villasimius keep boarders busy.
Adventure
The spot: Tahiti
Dive clear, shallow lagoons flanked by dolphins or mysterious sunken vessels with walls of rainbow coral. Try your hand at deep-sea fishing for Blue Marlin and Mahi Mahi or hike into the mountains for a jungle-framed picnic. Nothing says exotic like the heavy-scented breezes of the Society Islands.
Just “be”
The spot: Hvar, Croatia
Unspoiled Sveta Nedelja, nestled on Hvar’s rugged south shore, enjoys scenic views across the Adriatic. If you are a wine lover, take lunch at Plenkovic Vineyard with exceptional choice from the underwater cellar… And don’t forget to admire the incredible sunset as evening arrives.
Take time to discover new destinations, experience local culture and become inspired by fresh surroundings. Your journey starts here.
