🥀 do you keep track of your alter count? how do you do so?

only vaguely. we don't really keep an active count but we use pluralkit on discord which does keep track of how many proxies we have. i believe there's three extra proxies on our pk currently, so our total count is 45 known.

🫀 - do you have non-human alters? what species are they?

we do have some! yubel is a duel monster/dragon. jesse and yuya are partially dragons. ai, yuai, saito, and lightning are articial intelligences. astral is an alien. bakura is a personification of darkness. namine and roxas are nobodies. xion is a replica. serena, vio, shadow, red, and blue are hylians.

📻 - do you experience amnesia?

yeah, we're not usually actively aware we're forgetting things unless it comes up, though. we have days we come home from work and couldn't tell you what happened during the day.

🥩 - who was the most recent split?

we're not entirely sure on this one... soulburner's the most recently logged, but he's been here for a while... it's probably either yuzu, jaedyn, or kieran.

🦴 - do you have an innerworld? what does it look like?

we have one but it's very hard to access most of the time. it's a combination of traverse town from kingdom hearts and the moon from legend of zelda: majora's mask.

hi it's me yuga! i'm usually the alter that enjoys dueling the most in this system. i love me some yugioh.

12:30 am

It was so late... so dark... so quiet. It was the first sign that Hongjoong was alone in bed. He stretched his arms above his head and whined softly as he rolled over to investigate the cold empty bed. "Right behind you my ass," he huffed, throwing his legs off the side of the bed. "Be right there," he continued grumbling as he walked down the hall. He didn't need to look far... he knew exactly where to find his precious kitten.

Standing against the door frame, looking into the nursery, he crossed his arms and watched Seonghwa, his arms full of a wiggling and whimpering pink bundle. Earlier that day little Aera started to show signs of not being well. There was a wheezing when she breathed that unsettled her parents and she wasn't too fond of whatever she was being fed.

Hongjoong frowned at the sight, while he slept there was no doubt that Seonghwa tried to comfort the tiniest of the three babies... neglecting his own well-being.

"I guess I can't be upset that you weren't in bed, huh?" he asked, leading down to place a kiss right between Seonghwa's ears. "My turn. Give her to me and you go to sleep... You can't take care of them if you're not taking care of yourself." There was no room for discussion when he took the squirming girl in his arms... or so he thought. "I hope you don't think I didn't hear that!" Joong called after the sassy hybrid.

He took the now vacant spot in the plush rocker and adjusted Aera in his arms. "I know you see your brothers sleeping. You don't think we can come to some agreement?" Smiling, he cradled her to his chest. It seemed to be the only way to keep her quiet and allow her to get some rest. His humming and steady rocking finally started to work. She looked up at him with heavy eyelids and cooed softly. "Yeah? Don't get used to this. I'm not rocking you to sleep every night like this," he lied. Hell, Seonghwa would be the first to call him out on his blatant lie.

4:19 am

He must have fallen asleep. Shit. What time was it? Aera whined and whimpered when she was taken from his arms. Hongjoong rubbed his eyes and yawned.

"I must have fallen asleep with her," he says, his voice still heavy with sleep. "Calm her down and we can go back to bed." He crossed the room to turn on a small lamp... it was still too dark to see anything.

"Leave the light off. Don't make a sound," a gruff, familiar voice ordered him. Hongjoong's heart seized in his chest, his mind racing. "You've got to be more careful Hongjoong. A nice neighborhood like this still has bad things that happen." The man steps to the side, the light from the window casting shadows across his face. A second man standing in the corner.

"It's a nice family you have here," the man says to Hongjoong. "You've done well for yourself... I mean, as well as you could have with that creature." His voice is laced with disgust as he mentions Seonghwa. "At least you have two normal children. Shame about the other."

Hongjoong took a deep breath and held his hands out knowing his temper could be the worst thing right now. "Give her back to me," he said calmly. " We can go talk somewhere else."

The man laughed dryly and looked down at Aera, still upset about being woken up from her sleep. "Not a chance. She comes with us. How else am I supposed to keep you under control?" There was a soft click before something cold pressed into his abdomen. "I've already taken care of Taeyong. Don't make this any more difficult than it needs to be."

"I'll go," Hongjoong said firmly. "Just leave her, please. She is sick and needs Seonghwa." The pressure against his stomach increased and the man bared his teeth.

"You're little friend refuses to give me my daughter... So maybe I'll just keep yours," he hissed at Hongjoong. ""Let's see how well you handle having your precious baby taken from you." Suddenly, his eyes lit up with malice. "One peep from you and I swear you won't see them again... Now put these on and let's go. I don't need anyone waking up."

Hongjoong looked at the handcuffs tossed at him. What was he going to do? He wouldn't fight this asshole. Not while he had Aera... He couldn't take on two men... He couldn't get Seonghwa hurt. Jaehyun and Taejin need him... all of them. His stomach churned but he held it down and tightened the cuffs.

"It isn't too late," Hongjoong whispered to the two men. "Leave the baby and I'll go quietly. The man in the corner finally stepped forward. He was bigger than the other one. He reached into his pocket and wrapped his hand around Hongjoong's mouth. Joong's vision blackened around the edges as he collapsed.

"Shut up," he groaned. "I should have done this a long time ago." With the greatest of ease, the man threw Hongjoong over his shoulder and followed the man with the baby. "Two down and one to go."

Kieran is the son of a king and queen, making him a prince in the eyes of the other vampires. Though the area that actually still believes in the royalty is very limited, the other creatures and estranged acknowledge the power that the family is able to hold. Having grown up in royalty, Kieran has a bit of a stuck up personality and is used to only receiving what he wants when he wants it. He remains as flirty yet unlikable as one can be even if he is scolded by his mother for it.

He is difficult to get acquainted with since he sees many people as below him and isn’t afraid of letting that known. He hides his emotions as he was taught, minus his displeasure, and does his best to uphold his royal duties. He has no guards (that he knows of), his abilities are enough for him to handle his own as he can change a persons thoughts with just a mere look.

12:30 am

It was so late... so dark... so quiet. It was the first sign that Hongjoong was alone in bed. He stretched his arms above his head and whined softly as he rolled over to investigate the cold empty bed. "Right behind you my ass," he huffed, throwing his legs off the side of the bed. "Be right there," he continued grumbling as he walked down the hall. He didn't need to look far... he knew exactly where to find his precious kitten.

Standing against the door frame, looking into the nursery, he crossed his arms and watched Seonghwa, his arms full of a wiggling and whimpering pink bundle. Earlier that day little Aera started to show signs of not being well. There was a wheezing when she breathed that unsettled her parents and she wasn't too fond of whatever she was being fed.

Hongjoong frowned at the sight, while he slept there was no doubt that Seonghwa tried to comfort the tiniest of the three babies... neglecting his own well-being.

"I guess I can't be upset that you weren't in bed, huh?" he asked, leading down to place a kiss right between Seonghwa's ears. "My turn. Give her to me and you go to sleep... You can't take care of them if you're not taking care of yourself." There was no room for discussion when he took the squirming girl in his arms... or so he thought. "I hope you don't think I didn't hear that!" Joong called after the sassy hybrid.

He took the now vacant spot in the plush rocker and adjusted Aera in his arms. "I know you see your brothers sleeping. You don't think we can come to some agreement?" Smiling, he cradled her to his chest. It seemed to be the only way to keep her quiet and allow her to get some rest. His humming and steady rocking finally started to work. She looked up at him with heavy eyelids and cooed softly. "Yeah? Don't get used to this. I'm not rocking you to sleep every night like this," he lied. Hell, Seonghwa would be the first to call him out on his blatant lie.

4:19 am

He must have fallen asleep. Shit. What time was it? Aera whined and whimpered when she was taken from his arms. Hongjoong rubbed his eyes and yawned.

"I must have fallen asleep with her," he says, his voice still heavy with sleep. "Calm her down and we can go back to bed." He crossed the room to turn on a small lamp... it was still too dark to see anything.

"Leave the light off. Don't make a sound," a gruff, familiar voice ordered him. Hongjoong's heart seized in his chest, his mind racing. "You've got to be more careful Hongjoong. A nice neighborhood like this still has bad things that happen." The man steps to the side, the light from the window casting shadows across his face. A second man standing in the corner.

"It's a nice family you have here," the man says to Hongjoong. "You've done well for yourself... I mean, as well as you could have with that creature." His voice is laced with disgust as he mentions Seonghwa. "At least you have two normal children. Shame about the other."

Hongjoong took a deep breath and held his hands out knowing his temper could be the worst thing right now. "Give her back to me," he said calmly. " We can go talk somewhere else."

The man laughed dryly and looked down at Aera, still upset about being woken up from her sleep. "Not a chance. She comes with us. How else am I supposed to keep you under control?" There was a soft click before something cold pressed into his abdomen. "I've already taken care of Taeyong. Don't make this any more difficult than it needs to be."

"I'll go," Hongjoong said firmly. "Just leave her, please. She is sick and needs Seonghwa." The pressure against his stomach increased and the man bared his teeth.

"You're little friend refuses to give me my daughter... So maybe I'll just keep yours," he hissed at Hongjoong. ""Let's see how well you handle having your precious baby taken from you." Suddenly, his eyes lit up with malice. "One peep from you and I swear you won't see them again... Now put these on and let's go. I don't need anyone waking up."

Hongjoong looked at the handcuffs tossed at him. What was he going to do? He wouldn't fight this asshole. Not while he had Aera... He couldn't take on two men... He couldn't get Seonghwa hurt. Jaehyun and Taejin need him... all of them. His stomach churned but he held it down and tightened the cuffs.

"It isn't too late," Hongjoong whispered to the two men. "Leave the baby and I'll go quietly. The man in the corner finally stepped forward. He was bigger than the other one. He reached into his pocket and wrapped his hand around Hongjoong's mouth. Joong's vision blackened around the edges as he collapsed.

"Shut up," he groaned. "I should have done this a long time ago." With the greatest of ease, the man threw Hongjoong over his shoulder and followed the man with the baby. "Two down and one to go."
