I love you people who show kindness because "it's what you're supposed to do". I love you people who show kindess because they like being thanked. I love you people who show kindness because it makes them feel good. I love you people who show kindness because they were shown kindness first. I love you people who show kindness for "selfish" reasons. I love you people who show kindness for the "wrong" reasons. I love you people who show kindness in a body that rejects the very notion. Your kindness is not any lesser because of its motivations. The good you added to the world is just as valuable as someone doing it for the "right" reasons. Your effort is seen. Your effort is valued.

Hey!
I'm not the anon that asked about the magic trick, but I just wanted to say that your answer to it was very kind and explanatory. Like, I didn't even see the original post, but I got the joke from your explanation. And I just wanna tell you that I think it's cool that you answered with a nice and good explanation instead of making fun or just ignoring
Hiya! :) Thank you ❤, I always try to reply to asks and be kind, like, for one you never know why someone is asking - whether I made a mistake or whether it is a language or culture barrier, not enough spoons or brain misbehaving - like I know from personal experience all these and I am still sometimes confused about some posts :), and two, like it doesn't really matter that much even why someone is asking, responding with kindness is something like that spreads (I am going to be a bit Aziraphale here :)) - spreads a bit of kindness around, a bit of happiness with it and the world is like a bit brighter with it? :) I am not sure I am explaining right :).

Based on my experience working with a good number of Gen Z folks, now that they are entering the work force, I think employers and trainers need to know that many in Gen Z did not receive any tech training in school. While most Millennials (many who are now in management) had some level of computer classes to teach basic computer operation, word processing, typing, and spreadsheets, lots of schools just cut those classes for Gen Z assuming they got it at home. At the same time, Gen Z largely transitioned to touch-based devices with app based ecosystems. To the extent they had more traditional computer access, most experienced Chromebooks which are an entirely different beast.
Now they are entering offices using predominantly Microsoft and Adobe products and they are expected to just have the core computer competencies, with the assumption someone taught them before because they are young and of course they have tech skills. If you are in a position to train younger folks on the core competencies of your job, do so with awareness that you may be the first person to show them how to do things in Word or Excel. You may be the first one to show them the tricks you know about how to make your work computer do what you need it to do. Have patience as they type poorly, and offer tips on how they can improve. They will learn and they will do so far faster than you can imagine, but you need to give them the training. Do so, with kindness and compassion knowing that skills were assumed, not taught.

A little reminder that handicaps that are adaptable now like deafness, blindness or not being able to walk were once considered as being too severe to allow a person to live a full life, fall in love or have a job. The reason people can live well with these challenges is because all people came together and helped make their lives better while also upholding their rights and dignity as people.
So before you say someone is or will be “too disabled to live”, watch it. People are not products you can just throw away in the trash because they’re not perfect. Besides, who is? And also, how do you think a disabled person feels when you say things like that?
Lastly, I’m just going to throw it out there that the most useless people I have ever met were people who were as healthy as horses, but they were freeloaders, jerks or could not stay out trouble. So yeah, the state of your body or health doesn’t make you a burden or hard to live with. It’s the way you live that makes it hard and unbearable for others to live with you.
So before you point the finger, take a good look at yourself and ask yourself what good have YOU done for those around you or are you just an inconvenience? And if you’re the latter, would you ever agree that you deserve a death sentence or to be locked up in an institute over it?
Everyone deserves a chance at life even when we already know what challenges they’ll face. And for the record, we ALL need help in life. Socializing and depending on each other is a part of being human and being part of a family or community.
PS: This also goes for people who become sick, disabled and such later in life due to sickness, accidents or old age.

This is a message to everyone.
You are all unique and beautiful 😍 don't let anyone tell you otherwise because the only opinion that matters in the end is your own... Don't let others judgment make you believe you are ugly or something else because you are not ugly. Only you have the power to make those words come true, so avoid their judgment and just enjoy yourself. Be whatever you want to be, experiment with new lifestyles, appearances and just have fun because you need to do what makes you happy.
As always please always be open minded and understanding towards others.
Don't just immediately judge them or listen to a gossip story and side with the one gossiping because they might be spreading false lies to ruin others. It's best that you listen to both sides and judge based on what you have seen, based on evidence not fiction.
We are a world that's diverse and we should always embrace our diversity because together we are strong and together we can move mountains, so don't allow governments to take away your rights or abuse them and don't allow those who hate to destroy this world... Spread kindness, generosity, love and a United world ❤️🖤✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿
Our diversity is our weapon to true unity. Accept others and respect them do not break them down. Tolerate what you don't understand and educate yourself so that you may understand.

Doctors should snark at each other more, be a bit mean. Not for no reason, mind you. But if five doctors blow me off about symptoms and doctor number six FINALLY runs actual tests and gets a diagnosis, I think it should be Doctor Six's right to call up the other five and tell them they're lazy pieces of shit. That should be socially encouraged. Those first five doctors clearly can't listen to patients, but maybe another doctor might finally get to them.

i’m gonna cry it’s raining right now and i just passed by a family where both parents were without an umbrella but their kid who couldn’t have been older than like 3-4 was proudly holding this GIANT umbrella whose diameter was as tall (if not taller) as the kid. both the parents were getting absolutely drenched but u could tell the kid was just so happy to have an “adult” task and carry the umbrella themselves and i think that sacrifice is what love is all about

i feel like a lot of the 'i hate kids' crowd would be more tolerant if they understood that due to a kid's limited experience of the world that 4 hour flight might just be the longest they've ever had to sit still for or that trapped finger might literally be the most pain they've ever felt in their short life or they might not have ever seen a person with pink hair ever so of course they want to touch it or nobody's told them yet that they can't run around the museum and they only just learned cheetahs are the fastest animals so of course they want to put that to the test. how were they supposed to know etc etc.

I really think they need to start teaching kids in schools that most blind people can see a little bit, most deaf people can hear a little bit, and most wheelchair users can walk a little bit. And they are still disabled.
