alright, i'll write about it at length eventually, but the type of human nik originally was are actually a neat little group of guys. called 'shadows' or 'hosts' (most often not called much of anything really) they're what happens when once in a very rare while a mundane human is born metaphysically incomplete, with their soul not fully formed. they're perfectly regular people, no extra abilities or special heritage (and if they were supposed to have any, they usually end up not having it), with zero clues about what they are besides some inherent restlessness, aimlessness and an odd sort of spiritual dissatisfaction. they don't stay clueless for long, though, usually. when there's a void where part of your soul should be, it kind of behaves differently.

one thing they unwittingly do is absorb metaphysical energy aimed at them like a sponge, making them natural conduits for the magical and spiritual, and extremely sensitive to both. it does also neatly soften the blow of any magic attacks, curses and, most importantly, possessions - which they can handle better than most, but suffer more of than the mundane human would. the preternatural just can't seem to leave them alone. unfortunately, they end up being pretty convenient for otherworldly creatures or metaphysical forces that be in need of a physical form to operate or speak through.

a lot of them are extremely talented mediums and find their calling in allowing the spiritual to speak through them. others find a source of external power or magic to borrow from, but those can only be granted by surrogacy, not taken. some bond with supernatural beings they gladly pay host to, like a live-in patron of sorts. few aren't quite so lucky and end up as 'true vessels', fully taken over by greater spirits and stripped of their autonomy. for a time, while he was still a 'host', nikodemus' fate was almost sealed as a true vessel, only he ended up eating his 'parasite'. which is a neat way to discover what you are and also how you can use it to your advantage, in the same breath (and gain some new abilities through virtue of digestion).

I haven't really watched any vtuber content aside from my friends that vtube on the side. But based on what I see in clips and stuff:

The phoenix lady Kiara seems funny. Also there's a rat girl from ... New Zealand(?) that has a neat voice. I know nothing of Watson but I like detective aesthetic so I guess she's good! Ironmouse I've seen interact with Connor and she seems like a sweet lady.

PoV: You're Kiara's number one fan, owning every piece of her and kfp's merch (even if most of the clothes dont fit your bed-destroying size), and she calls on you to come on stream to do a mukbang challenge! She's demanding you to empty out six entire menus worth of kfp in under one day! A special twenty-four hour stream if you will~

You practically shake in your seat as you wait for Kiara, ready for what had to be the best day of your life.

You were her biggest fan, both in how much you loved her and how big you were.

Every time there was a new item on the KFP menu, you had to have it. You'd prove just how strong your feelings were to Kiara, waistline be damned. Eating there every day, you'd gone from the skinny thing that had first found the phoenix's streams to the blob you were now.

You'd started out tiny, not even filling a cushion in a booth seat, to getting so massive over the course of a few months that you weren't able to leave the store on your own. the last time you had been to KFP, they'd had to knock a wall down just to get you out.

That's when your idol had approached you, asking for help, offering you a chance to appear on stream for a special KFP challenge. You'd gladly accepted, star struck. She'd led you by the hand, Kiara skipping along as you huffed and puffed, a rail thin beauty next to someone more dough than human.

"Hey there, honey~!"

Giggling as she paced around you, coming into view, she drummed her fingers along your gut. "It's time to start~" Sitting on your stomach, the bottom roll the perfect height for her, she waved to the camera as she began the stream. You were too love-struck to say anything, just watching as she explained how she'd be flaunting how good KFP was by feeding you the menu six times over.

Bouncing off your belly and to her feet, the phoenix scampered over. Clutching a bucket of chicken as she snatched off a nearby table, Kiara leaned against your doughy side. Sinking in slightly, she held the first drumstick up to your lips.

You were practically drooling as you took a bite, groaning at how good it was, Kiara feeding it to you only making it better. Growling with hunger, your stomach demanded more, and more was soon provided.

"See! It's the best there is!" Giggling as she pushed more against your mouth, she winked to the camera as she shook as much of your gut as she could manage, making your hips bang against the walls as you sloshed. "We'll be live for twenty-four hours, so stay tuned!"

"...Or until this big belly covers the camera, whatever comes first!"

Kiara is a phoenix, and the head of KFP. Kiara Fried Phoenix. Immortal, able to be revived from death as the famous fire bird can, she works hard and ensured her workers do the same. An amazing dancer, cheerful and supportive. She will hug you or punch you without hesitation, if you are friend of foe of course.

Amelia 'Ame' Watson

A normal human detective. With a watch that lets her travel through time. Think a mix of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Who. Who is also more than happy to talk about how she Ground Pounded your mama last night.

Gura Gawr

Gura is from Atlantis. Having stolen the trident from the king she eventually found her way to land, with mostly amnesia of the events. Just knowing the kingdom had long since fallen. She is on so very old, the shark girl is a gremlin of terror

Fuwawa Abyssgard

She is not a chihuahua, she is Fuwawa! The older sister of the Abyssguard sisters, she is known as the fluffy one. The sisters being demon guard dogs, often refuted to as just puppies for their excited and curious nature. The two sealed away and imprisoned, seemingly just for being dogs and overly excited. Fuwawa is definatly the carmer one, with a sweet and gentle tone, but she does get super eager and cheerful when talking and chatting.

Mococo Abyssgard

She is not Fuwawa, she is Mococo! The younger of the sisters, the fuzzy one, she is much more energetic and aggressive than her older sister. Ready to clash with another,highly suspicious and agressive. The type of dog who will be at your ankles 24/7 either out of aggression or because she wants to play. She and her sister often bark with their cry if "Bau Bau" at random, sometimes just to end conversations cleanly

Bijou 'Biboo' Kouseki

Bijou is rock. Rock of human emotions solidified in a true brilliance that makes others love her, but also leading to greed, dark hearted people becoming aggressive and angry as they desire to posses her. Leading to her being locked away for her down safety. Biboo is bubbly, friendly, and often easily excited. A meme lord, a terror, a jokester. But also wholesome as she refuses to swear, even using the word's 'bleep' and 'dang it's instead.

HoloJustice (EN Gen 4)

A task force set up to take down Advent and being them back to their Cell. Their mission, to monitor them and drag them back when the time is right

Elizabeth Rose BloodFlame

Elizabeth, or Liz for short, is the leader of Justice. The Scarlet Queen, Lady Bloodflame is in charge of monitoring and capturing Narissa Ravencroft... And she is very dutiful of that job.... This marvelous singer, this powerful warrior, song and battle are all the same to her. Letting it beautiful songs as she says her foes. Vey traditional high class monarch attitude, but also super sweet and cheerful. Able to switch between "Kneel before your monarch, knave!" and "Later Luv, have a bloody good time!" at the drop of a hat. While serious and mission minded, she is also easily flustered and rather peaceful. Also, British.

Projekt Melody is a futuristic AI program that was initially made to scan and cleanse files until she was infected with a porn-based virus, causing her to be obsessed with any variety of sexual topics and actions. She is very upfront about her obsession with sexual topics and makes herself known as someone well-versed in the subject of sexual attraction, placing a great emphasis on her obsession with hentai, to the extent that she gives herself the alias of "Professor Hentai". But she's also super casual and goofy as well

Iron Mouse

A demon queen who goes by several names… but has also been rumored to be Satan herself. She is a friendly, fun loving demon who ran from her duties and escaped the confines of Hell/the underworld in order to make new friends, learn new things and live life to the fullest. She has an obsession with the internet, music, lewd stuff, nerd shit, and all things cute. She wears special magical bells on her body to contain and control her power in order to better blend into the human world. If her bells ever get removed, pure chaos would ensue. She is a hopeless necromantic and hopes to one day own her own Virtual Fashion brand. Froot has a very soft-spoken high pitched voice and a very calming demeanor. Also, British.

Silvervale

Long ago, in a realm not unlike Earth, a sakura spirit slumbered within the lone flower of an ancient tree. She slept until a wolf pack nestled in the tree's shade. Their love and companionship nurtured the tree in a symbiotic relationship that lasted for eons. When the wolves disappeared the flower wilted from the weight of her sadness and, longing for her lost companions, she used the last of her magics to fuse with the Spirit of the Wolf who then called upon The Wind to carry her to another world. She is known for her wholesome and caring personality as well as her sexuality and lewd jokes. A very cheerful and playful personality who is a free spirit in every sense of the word, although she is a hit of a perfectionist (I know she isn't part of V-Shojo any more. But easier to put her here)

Zentraya

A half human/half red dragon, rockstar (kinda). She is very headstrong and tends to yell at everyone around her, but loves meeting new people! She tends to play pranks and loves memes. She wants to rule humanity one day, but she's too much of an air head to do it. She also has a cyborg form she can take at times. Which is her true form? No one knows. Very laid back but passionate when the need arrises.

HoloEN Musings

I've always wanted Kiara and Fauna to interact more. Now, I'm definitely more of a KFP than a sapling, but any time I see those two interact I can't help but notice little things Fauna does or says. I notice Fauna immediately rejecting any negative things Kiara says about herself. I hear little comments she makes about how talented and inspiring Kiara is. Heck, in one of her 7 Days to Die streams she mentioned how she was worried that Kiara wouldn't play that day but then saw the stream reservation and was relieved. There's a quiet support and adoration present, and it warms my heart immensely.

My oshi thinks so little of herself, she's always doubting that people actually like her for her and not because they work together (see Kiara talking about her relationship with Kronii to understand what I mean.) So it makes me happy to see these little moments of Fauna showing she cares about our Phoenix.

It also makes me think about the fanfiction possibilities. The Keeper of Nature and The Eternal Phoenix has an inherent romanticism, similar to that between the phoenix and the reaper. You've got this representative of life falling in love with a creature that can never die. I don't know, I find that compelling. It's all I can think about recently, which is unfortunate because it's such a rare pairing.
