Okay I've always thought the Silver Surfer as a concept was wack. Like they really made a guy that goes from planet to planet on a surf board.

Characters being psychically/magically connected to their tools/equipment and being able to control it as if it were an extension of their body is super rad and I love it.

I really must get to bed but today has been a real wonderful day, so I suppose I just want to say again that I'm really appreciative of the community we have here in the 2hu rpc. I bave so many wonderful friends that I share this hobby with, it's astounding. So thank ya all for being here.

Hey everyone, it's me Lis. I've been really busy the last 2 weeks so I'll admit I've not been around much. But I've been peaking in when I can. Something I have noticed though as I've done so is several friends alluding to not doing too well or feeling unhappy lately. Certainly not everyone is feeling this way but it's enough for me to take notice. So I want to come and say:

You guys are all really wonderful people that I really like having as friends. I know things are hard now. The lack of light plays into SADs and the holiday season can drum up a lot of harsh memories for people. It's also when work or academics can enter a major crunch. So there's a lot of reasons to be feeling down. If you are that's understandable and okay. But please remember that you really are a wonderful person deserving of love and respect. We're all gonna make it through the end of this year just as we have the years before. I am wishing you all the best in the struggles you now face.

What Kako said gets a full agreement from me. I want to also say that confidence really is the key to making things happen in a roleplay community. That and also a willingness to try things even if sometimes they may not wind up going anywhere. I've plenty of storylines that have gone to real exciting places and some that wind up going nowhere.

I also think a willingness to join in is important. Folks are always welcome to add themselves to my things. Roleplay is a collaborative process and things become more exciting when y'all figure stuff out together. I've done some big events in each fandom I've been in and that's because I'm willing to just do things and see where they take me and that I'm willing to join in on what other folks are doing.

Man there's so much I want to do. It's only a business in all the other aspects of my life that prevent it. So if you've got the time and desire I highly encourage ya to always be trying things. Fear, especially a fear of introducing ourselves to others or being perceived as "cringe" only serves to hold us all back.

Roleplay is such a fun and unique hobby and we've got the potential to make really great memories. As I say a lot, you all are my friends. Don't think because I do cool deep things with one person I won't also do them with others.

Just wanted to give my own thoughts because this is something I really care about a lot and I always wanna talk about it. (Not so secretly I think my opinions on writing matter a lot, teehee)

I am glad she has found fulfillment and happiness in a job well done. Helia has a lot of reasons to be proud of herself on all the growth she has done. She's on her way to being a true first class maid.
