Hello everyone! Finally you all waited for this day, and now the time has come. Melodifestivalen is back! And i'm super super extremely happy for this. It's will be magical weeks of waiting for who will represent Sweden in Eurovision Song Contest. But now it's time for the review of First semifinal of Melodifestivalen.

The hosts of Melodifestivalen is swedish blogger, TV-host, Keyo(real name Christina Petrushina) and Edvin Törnblom, Swedish comedian, television personality and actor.

And here's the songs of first semifinal of "Melodifestivalen-2025".

1)Albin Jonsen feat Pa- Upp i Luften.

Well, not bad beginning, but i don't feel some attraction to this song, the vibe of this song positive of course, but i didn't find something catching tune in this song. I give 6 points from 10. The video of the perfomance:

2)Maja Ivarssom-Kamikaze Life.

Wooow! I've waited for this long time that Maja can participate in Melodifestivalen" and finally time has come. Of course i love "The Sounds", i even have some favorite songs from this band. And this song sounds in really "The Sounds" style. But i like it, i give 7 points from 10.

3)John Lundvik-Voice Of The Silent.

Well, as i see participation in "Eurovision-2019" wasn't enough for John, but i liked his two previous songs "My Turn" and "Too Late For Love", the last one he perfomed in "Eurovision Song Contest-2019" and received fifth place. Ah, he perfome in "Melodifestivalen" for a fourth time. This songs sounds good. And i liked his red outfit which so perfectly fitted for him. Well, all i can say is just a good song. I give 7 points from 10.

4)Meira Omar-Hush Hush.

I liked this song. Sounded very in bollywood style. And choreography looked like from some indish movies, this is a very plus for this amazing perfomance. Good job. I give 8 points from 10.

5)Adrian Macéus-Vår Första Gång.

I knew Maceus that he shooted in some swedish christmas TV-Series but i don't remember the name of this TV-serial. But the song seemed to me not interesting, just nothing catching in this song despite that Adrian sang very good. Sorry but i give 4 points from 10.

6)Linnea Henriksson-Den Känslan.

Oj, oj, oj, finally another big swedish star joined to the "Melodifestivalen". I remember she was even the host of some of "Melodifestivalen. But song sounded not really interesting. Again nothing catching and it seemed for me that Linnea sang very fragile. So, i give 5 points from 10. The video of the perfomance:

And that was all the six songs from first semifinal.

At the interval act perfomed Kärrijä and Hooja with the song "San-Francisco Boy". Kärrijä represented Finland in "Eurovision Song Contest-2023" and Finland was close to win for the second time but victory went to the Loreen, who represented Sweden for the second time. I liked this perfomance. Fantastic, really.

And so, who went to the final?

JOHN LUNDVIK!!!

At the second interval act perfomed Ravaillacz Teens with the song"En Riktig Jävla Schlager".

But it was just to make a little long to wait who the second semifinalist?

And who is it?

It s.... MAJA IVARSSON!!!

Meira Omar goes to the Semi Kvalen final. And Albin Jonssen feauturing Pa with Adrian Macéus and Linnea Henriksson is out of competition.

Congratulations to the Maja and John for the passing to the final.

Now we re waiting the next saturday for the second semifinal of Melodifestivalen. And of course i ll write the other reviews of Melodifestivalen. But for now, see you next week and bye bye!!!

So true it is really giving goverment stooges. Really I wondered if they where doing some kind of KD or Moderat cosplay, because those outfits screamed Kyrkdemokrat & moderat. I’m not gonna lie Keyyo’s dress were pretty but totally wrong for melodifestivalen, it gave me ”going to met royalty or important foreign govermentpeople” not swedens glitteriest & gayest party of the year.

And let’s not forget how they let Edvin step on stage in a outfit that clearly was not tailored for him. I could practically feel every tailor in sweden scream in pain when they saw that illfitting suit on poor Edvin. He looked so uncomfy in it, I really felt bad for the man.

I saw this absolutely hilarious short KAJ video yesterday but couldn't find it again but it's ingrained in my memory and I'll write it down here as well as I can until the source comes to me again.

It was probably from Radio X3M (Extrem, Svenska YLE youth channel) Instagram or Youtube short, 22 weeks ago so last year. Humorgruppen KAJ were on what seemed like a charity special, playing a game "Laugh and lose" with 2 hosts. One of them was Joel, Axel's co-writer and star of Halln, the other one the long haired radio DJ who's on Kaj's Julkalender Demotisdag episodes, Kjell (got the name from the comments, tack!)

Host: Poor little Jakob is already down 20 euros in our game.

Jakob: Yes. But it's okay, I'm thinking about the children of the world.

Kjell: How often do you think about them, Jakob?

Jakob: Not too often.

Jakob: But I have a story. I just saw a condom* on a desk here and it reminded me about a thing that happened when we went to Vörå junior high. We had a sex education class, and the teacher came to the class with a condom and a banana. He said, "Today we'll learn how to put on a condom. And the banana? Well, I can't get it up on empty stomach."

Axel loses his composure and laughs.

Axel: Oh Jakob. Bringing back the trauma.

They're so fucking witty and funny and like. Can adapt their comedy to the audience, they're so much cleaner and sweeter on the Mello and Eurovision scene or daytime concerts.

I love how sneaky Jakob can be, he's so cute and polite and a ray of sunshine and the squeaky clean kid so OF COURSE he's the one to introduce the Sauna Gollum to unsuspecting Edvin and Keyyo or play prank in an interview.

Melodifestivalen 22.02.2025. Fjärde Deltävlingen.

Hello everyone, i watched the fourth semifinal of "Melodifestivalen-2025". The semifinal was located in Malmö. At the opening of this semifinal apperead Ace Wilder who perfomed in "Melodifestivalen" in 2014, 2016 and 2017. I missed her so much. I heard that she recently became a mom and now she's busy doing something. The opening of the fourth semifinal of "Melodifestivalen-2025".

Now i found the time to write my review about this. Let's see it. 1)Andreas Lundstedt-Vicious.

Andreas perfomed many times at the "Melodifestivalen" in solo and as in "Alcazar". But his perfomance was very good. Very amazing, catching and enjoyable song. Super choreography. Very good work, Andreas. I give 8 points out of 10. The video of the perfomance:

2)Ella Tiritiello-Du är där.

Nothing to say. Boring ballad song, nothing cathing, I'm sorry, but that's not for me. I give 3 points out of 10.(My personal opinion).

3)Tennessee Tears-Yours.

Well, not bad, very harmonical vocals, which fit to each other, very enjoyable to listen, very good to listen in car, or sing in karaoke with someone in duet. And very nice melody. I give 6 points out of 10. The video of the perfomance:

4)KAJ-Bara Bada Bastu.

Woow! Amazing that someone from Finland participate in "Melodifestivalen". I can say that is a very positive, amazing, nice perfomance. As i understand this song is about sauna, right? But i liked it, super choreography, nice vocal. Brå jobbat, guys! I give you 7 points out of 10.

5)Amena-Do Good Be Better.

Well, sounded not very interesting, although Amena sang not bad, but sometimes she sang a little of out of vocal. But i don't know, just nothing catching. That's all i can say. I give 4 points out of 10.

6)Måns Zelmerlöw-Revolution.

Oh my, i didn't expect that Måns will back at the "Melodifestivalen" with more powerful song than "Heroes", even with such stronger title. Well, i can say it's really powerful song. Måns gave everything from himself. What an impressive perfomance. I think it's really best than "Heroes". I will not wonder if he win second time on "Melodifestivalen". I really loved it. I give full 10 points out of 10.

At the first interval act Edvin and Keyyo sang a parody about the participants of fourth semifinal. It was super funny.  The video of the perfomance:

So, it's time to know, who will go to the Grand final. 

And first who passed to the final is...

MÅNS ZELMERLÖW!!!

At the second interval act perfomed the participant of "Melodifestivalen-2015" Hasse Andersson with the song "Guld Och Gröna Skogar". It was ten years ago, but this song will always svenska favorit.

Ok, let's go further and know who is the second finalist from the fourth semifinal.

KAJ!!!!

Ella Tiritiello went to the finalkval, so it means that Andreas Lundstedt, Tennessy Tears and Amena is out of "Melodifestivalen".

Congratulations to the Måns and "KAJ" with the passing to the Grand Final.

I know that i'm extremely late with post, and i know that Melodifestivalen is over, but i need to finish it. I need to do it. I hope to find a time to write about impressions of fifth semifinal of Melodifestivalen. But for now, thank you for the reading and bye-bye!
