BETTY! oh my god, first of all I’m so sorry for only now having the time to read the epilogue. My life has been fucking hectic. And secondly, I loved it. I am so sad it’s done but I truly loved that fic. Steve and Astrid having babies?! AND GETTING MARRIED! Couldn’t be him. Eddie settling down and just being happy. My heart couldn’t take it.

please Kelsie no worries, that was a long epilogue and I'd much rather everyone wait until they are in the right headspace to enjoy it. IoF will never really be over as long as I'm active in the fandom (I still have some biker!Eddie and biker!Steve requests in my asks that I plan to fulfill) but I do feel a bit empty since I loved thinking about what everyone in that world would do next.

You know biker Steve is just...that guy. He would've married Oliver's bio mother, and it would've been a disaster, but he's got that old school mentality. Plus, he's been in love with Astrid since he was a teenager, so it was bound to happen. Eddie and reader would've been content in a trailer park or in the apartment above Munson's Garage, but it was my fantasy, so I put them in my favorite farmhouse that is a real place near where I grew up, and they are so very happy. They might eventually have chickens and a rooster that Eddie calls Foghorn Leghorn, and he wakes up the neighbors at the crack of dawn.

okay ngl with the pics you posted it does give young teacher vibes BUT there's nothing wrong with that at all! I SWEAR one of my high school math teachers wore that EXACT outfit on the bottom right and im getting flashbacks lol But one again its not a bad thing, if it makes you feel good and you feel comfortable in it, THATS ALL THAT MATTERS! plus they look cute!

Also Im so sorry that people in high school made you feel like you were below them just because you didn't have certain clothing items :( It truly IRKS me when people do that! I despise it! Not everyone can afford trendy clothes or keep up with trends! Plus even if people can afford them that doesn't mean they have to wear them! the clothes and items that one may have to do make the person "better"! Ugh i hate that you were made to feel this way :( even if it may not affect you rn that is still so shitty to go through! But Im glad college was where you discovered many things!

Now my style currently does not exist lol Currently in my era of trying to tap into my feminine side again(another long story for another time lol) along with trying to love it for the way it is! But my usual everyday go to is either a baggy t-shirt/sweatshirt/hoodie with leggings or shorts bc its hot where i live! My campus is huge so it just makes it easy to walk in. Plus i love that leggings now have pockets like i LOVE when women's clothing have real pockets! Anyways when I "dress up" i love wearing dresses and skirts! I love florals and I kinda love eccentric patterns too! Thrifting is something i enjoy too and i often find hidden gems! But I also do love going towards an alternative aesthetic too! Im emo at heart so i cant let that go lol plus i love a good platform shoe lol Idk if you've seen the show The Nanny but my style sort of mimics hers minus the animal print lol Side note that show is where I found the first British actor I had as a child lol

The concert was for Kelsy Karter and The Heroines! I really enjoyed it! It was a small venue so I love how intimate it feels and she performed so many of my fave songs! I've been brainstorming ideas for the IoF biker Eddie epilogue and finally started putting some words down yesterday. The anniversary of I'm on Fire is coming up April 22, can you believe it?? I took a writing break for a few weeks, as I was flailing in my personal life, but I feel safely back in the groove again now. (A/N: Okay, first of all, thank you SO MUCH for the praise, I really appreciate it! Kelsi is actually my favorite HSM character, so I really enjoy writing for her, and I was so happy to make these headcanons! I hope you enjoy!)

From the very beginning of yours and Kelsi's friendship, when you first transferred to East High and struck up a friendship with the nervous pianist, it was clear to pretty much everybody else that you two were destined for each other.

For starters, your more outgoing and bold personality perfectly balanced out Kelsi's quieter one. On top of that, you had an amazing voice to her amazing piano skills, the two of you were always there for each other, you supported each other - in short, you had all the makings of a perfect couple.

However, much to the frustration of your other friends, neither one of you seemed to see that.

Oh, don't be mistaken, you had crushes on each other - it was just that you didn't want to push Kelsi into anything she didn't want (despite the fact that she clearly liked you), and Kelsi didn't think that someone as strong, bold, and beautiful as you would ever want to go out with someone like her (despite the fact that you clearly liked her.)

In fact, if it wasn't for Ryan and Taylor, you probably would never have confessed your feelings at all.

On the day they put their master plan into action, Ryan insisted that you meet him in the equipment room in the gym, claiming he had something important to tell you. Taylor did the same to Kelsi, and as soon as the two of you were in the room together, Ryan and Taylor dashed out and locked the door behind them (using the key that Troy had secured from his dad for them), trapping you and your crush in there together.

Which, needless to say, you were less than pleased about.

"Ryan Evans, you Broadway-loving little gremlin! Let us out right now!"

"Not until you tell Kelsi that thing you've been wanting to tell her! Right, Tay?"

"Yeah! Same goes for you, Kels! Tell [Y/N] how you feel!"

At those words, you whipped around to look at Kelsi, who seemed to find her shoes very interesting. Tell [Y/N] how you feel? Could that mean... Oh, please let it mean.

"Um, Kelsi? What does Taylor mean by that?"

After a moment, Kelsi looked up at you with a shy, nervous expression on her blushing face, and it was so cute that you felt an strong urge to kiss her right then and there. (You didn't. But it was a very strong urge.)

"Well... okay so the thing is... I - I like you, [Y/N]. As, like... more than a friend."

The rush of joy that went through you at these words was indescribable. Kelsi Nielsen, the girl you'd had seemingly hopeless feelings for for what felt like the longest time, actually liked you back. At that moment, it felt like this was the best news you'd ever received.

"I like you, too, Kels. Like, I really like you. So... would maybe wanna go on a date sometime?"

"I'd - I'd like that, yeah."

That was all it took for Ryan and Taylor to let you out of the closet (which, since you were both girls who liked girls, Ryan never failed to make a teasing joke about). After school the next day, you and Kelsi met up at a nearby cafe for your first official date.

The whole thing went perfectly, and after a few more outings that went just as well, you asked Kelsi to officially be your girlfriend - and request to which he could not have responded yes more enthusiastically.

Now, let's get into what dating her is actually like...

First things first, any relationship Kelsi has is going to involve a lot of music.

She's constantly playing the piano and writing her own music and songs, so it's a good thing you love to sing, otherwise her constant musicality might've driven you crazy.

On that note, she's constantly asking for your input on new songs she's writing, or asking you to sing a few bars just to see how it sounds.

This always leads to compliments between the two of you, since not only do you adore Kelsi's lyrical and composing talent, but she's absolutely in love with your voice.

"That was amazing, [Y/N]! Your voice on that second verse was just... perfect!"

"Well, my voice isn't anything without some good lyrics. You did an awesome job writing with this one, Kels."

Cuddles. So many cuddles.

You can Kelsi are both very touchy with people you care about, so your relationship consists of a lot of cuddling. Kelsi's usually too awkward to come right out and ask for it, so the cuddles usually start one of two ways: you'll hold out your arms and ask if she wants to be held, or she'll just randomly snuggle into you and wrap her arms around your waist.

And Kelsi is always the little spoon. Always. She is the ultimate little spoon, and you cannot convince me otherwise.

Kisses with Kelsi are just... well, amazing. They always start out slow and a little bit hesitant on both your sides, but after a few seconds, Kelsi will gain confidence and press herself further into you. This results in minutes-long liplocks that leave you both gasping for breath when you finally pull away.

All in all, you and Kelsi are a sweet, supportive, and musical couple who everybody at East High loves - and you wouldn't have it any other way.
