17. Morning Rituals?

Zim always wakes up first. He needs the least amount of sleep and mostly does it for the warmth and cuddles from Keef and Dib. Cuddly warm mammals. He usually starts working on something for a bit, just tinkering.

Keef sometimes wakes up before Dib but if he doesn't both of them wake up when Dib's medicine alarm goes off.

Then they both kinda just get together the will to move from comfy cozy warms for like half an hour at least.

Then they start getting up and getting dressed in silence bc it's too fucking early to talk. Sometimes they playfully throw clothes at one another, Dib usually standing and Keef sitting on the edge of the bed for the most part bc the leg is the last thing he puts on and I mean. you try putting on clothes standing on one leg. *can* he do it? yeah but it's inconvenient and he feels like he's going to fall over.

and then they collectively get whatever for breakfast that they can find in the kitchen and try to figure out what they're going to do that day. by eating time its been long enough for Dib's second medicine alarm to go off, which doubles as Keef's medicine alarm bc convenience.

I was in the middle of writing a scene for the next chapter of the ESP Dib fic and had the sudden urge to draw it out before I wrote it! The three idiots just barely escaped the Fae realm with their lives and re-emerged into the human realm about six feet up an elm tree because Fae gates are weird and appear wherever. Dib got hurt the worst but the lucky little bastard got the softest landing.

My take on OTPs are that I’ll have one per character that is my absolute favourite ship for that character, so zadr is my OTP for Dib, and it’s also my OTP for Zim coincidentally, but zagr is my OTP for Gaz, and razr is my OTP for Red, but sazr is my OTP for Skoodge.. and then I’ll have an ultimate OTP for a show or one that takes priority over all other ships, like how I think zadr is the Most Soulmatey in the entire series.
