Re: the Madarame doesn't see his students as people post

The antagonist of my OC Katsuro's arc, Kiyoshi Nakada, basically just sees his employees as instruments to his success, and I mean that VERY literally. Katsuro finds Nakada's cognition of himself, an electric guitar in a glass case, and in the scene that causes Katsuro to awaken his Persona, Nakada claims he "played him like a fiddle"

Anyway it haunts Katsuro for a long while. He does NOT brush that shit off

I think the fact that Yusuke also says Madarame's students are "his artworks" raises like. So many questions. What does this look like in the day to day

And frankly like I don't think he would ever admit this because it feels selfish, but I think it would hurt Yusuke a lot that like Madarame raised him, he's been more loyal than anyone, and Yusuke is just another painting

I really think a lot of people undersell the aspects of Madarame's abuse because we never see it directly but if you literally in your heart of hearts do not see someone as human that's a bad implication! You suck as a person! I don't believe that leads to treating people well

A small little blurb

Characters: Tobirama Senju and Madara Uchiha

Madara stops in the doorway, fingers clenching around some of the papers that crinkle underneath. The shock that has him rooted in place is the sight of Tobirama with a child in his lap and the softness, a change from the usual dour expression the other wears. Surely Madara was hallucinating but a soft giggle is clue that it's not.

From his angle the young child is biting Tobirama’s fingers as they dance against teeth, which elicits more giggles and earns a soft smile. It hits Madara then, leaving him blinking. Who… who was this man with edges sharper than any kunai to be so soft?

"Are you going to stand there all day or are you going to open that mouth of yours and tell me why you’re here?"

Madara scowls and steps further into the room, taking in the large stack of scrolls that fill Tobiramas desk. It’s not until he’s stands in front about to pass the wrinkled paper over that his brain connects the dots. Red hair and golden eyes that could only belong to one person.

“Senju, did you shrink the Hatake Clan Head?”

“After a long sleepless night of wandering through Kagoshima, we decided to sneak back to my place. It was about 5 am when we arrived at the entrance, you could see the first streaks of colours in the sky that broke through the monotonous blue. The others were sleeping soundly. Aiden and I couldn’t stop giggling to ourselves, the sleep deprivation made us feel like we are on cloud nine. I unlocked the door and we sneaked onto the balcony, watching the sunrise unfold.”

Them <3 I like to imagine they were outside all night and just got back to Katsuro‘s place to watch the sunrise emerge behind the houses. This artwork is really old (I started it on the first of July 2023) but I never finished it until some time ago qwq. So it looks a bit jank, ngl. And idk, I spent 6 hours on it and it was prooooobably not worth it. It was somewhat of a try on a background- it stayed a try tho.
