#Kathy Kleiner has no relation to Caryn Campbell

According to the acknowledgements, the author talked to and received support from Kathy Kleiner, one of the women that survived Bundy's sorority attack in Florida, and also one of the women who ended up being replaced with a fictionalized version in the book. I feel like that should have made this entire concept feel less iffy, but it really doesn't.

Fine, I'll accept Kathy Kleiner as a speaker for the other sorority victims. But she has no relation to Janice Ott, whose circumstances of death were completely copied for her to be replaced by a made-up woman with a made-up name, made-up family, made-up past and fucking made-up queerness, who then gets to be one of the PoV characters in this book. "Giving a voice to the victims" my ass. Janice Ott doesn't even get to be mentioned in the acknowledgements. What, don't want people who don't really know about Ted Bundy to find out you replaced an actual victim with your fucking OC?

I wouldn't even care nearly as much about this if you weren't pretending to do a fucking service to the women that were murdered while disregarding all other media made about Ted Bundy as tasteless. You are doing the same shit!!!!
