You know who was probably the least surprised that Aang and Katara became a couple? Toph.

She can sense when people are lying because of the way their breathing and heartrate interacts with the earth. I don’t see why she couldn’t also sense when people are attracted to each other.

And since she can’t see, Toph probably thought all those cheek kisses that Katara gave Aang were actual kisses. As far as she knew, Katara and Aang have been kissing each other ever since Toph joined the gaang.

So when Sokka and Zuko inevitably flipped out after learning that Kataang became a thing, Toph was probably like “well duh of course they are”

okay, this one took me too long and now I’m one day late, but it is worth it, I couldn’t stop smiling while drawing it 🥰

Kataang Week 2024 Day 4: Post-Battle Reunion⚔️🔥⚔️

Katara always caressing Aang's cheek in the show, especially in times of distress, awoke something in teenage me that wound up being a taste for peak intimacy in romantic portrayals 🧑‍🍳🤌

Reasons why Kataang is a terrible ship:

1- They support each other

2- Aang always bring the best of Katara and support her in their worst times.

3- Katara always stay Aang side to help him.

4- They understand each other.

5- They have a healthy relationship

6- They blush each other when they think about kiss each other

7- They are the best dancers

8- Katara trust in Aang

9- Aang trust and show respect for Katara call her “Sifu Katara”

10- And they love each others.

That is the reasons why Kataang is a terrible ship.
