"Right. . .you got it."

Kat breathed a long exhale as she moved towards the door. Her feet practically dragged with the heaviness this exchange brought with it. Pumping the breaks on the situation was supposed to help avoid this feeling not amplify it. There was microphone placed to the silence between their words, and painful feed back when he spoke. It wasn't his voice that brought the dissonance. Shed loved listened to him speak. The timbre tempo and raise in his pitch when he got excited was all quickly becoming one of her favorite sound to fill each new shabby temporary home. But that blue hue in his tone? Shed hated it. The unfortunate reality was shed put it there and frankly she deserved every sharp prodding that came with each clipped syllable. "There and back. Scouts honor." With that she tugged the door open to let it click quietly behind her. The cool autumn air forced her to pull her black sweater a little tighter around her frame. While it was chilly out it was nice to finally be out of that tiny space and breathing the free flowing night air rather than that stagnant air in that room that reeked of decaying carpet and old cigarettes'. Kat crossed the path that led from the group of poorly lit motel rooms towards the even darker structure beside the parking lot that contained a few coin operated laundry appliances. Just outside that laundry room was one heavily visited vending machine that Kat and had just about picked clean on days that Landon wasn't around. That second of her mind drifting back to the man back in the room had Kat sighing once more as she fished her dollar coin on a string from her pocket. She looped the string around her middle finger before dropping the coin into the machine. Before she could pull her coin back from the slot somebody was at her back, their arms coming around her chest to pin her arms down to her sides. "You come quietly and my buddy stays in the car. You don't want him getting involved. He's not as gentle as I am." The low whispered words against her her sank Kats stomach and sent her mind into over drive. "Who said I don't like it rough?" She replied, leaning for ward at the waist so that her captor would naturally lean towards her before driving the back of her head into his face as hard as she could. The man cried out but didn't let go of her. Kat tucked her knees up and kicked hard against the face of the vending machine face. Her kick was powerful enough to crack the vending machine glass and send her and her captor falling back against the concrete. With a loud yelled the man in question finally released Kat allowing her a moment to jump up from him. Unfortunately he was climbing to feet just after shed got to hers. As quickly as he'd made it to one of his feet Kat had his arm her grasp and was already kicking his still falling foot out from under him and tugging him forward to send him head first into the vending machine glass. Kat paused only a beat to examine the man before her. He was completely unconscious and bleeding heavily from his forehead but still very much alive. Katherine leaned over the unconscious man to grab a handful of Hershey bars before sprinting towards the Motel room. "We need to leave! We need to leave NOW!" Kat shouted the second shed crossed the doorway. Her hands were still shaking, eyes wide, and chest heaving as she pushed chocolates into his hands and darted to the bed to grab her back pack and shove everything she had into It.

Most of these are generally agreed upon by the fandom, and some of these are ones I use.

The Sutton/Jane/Kat brot3 has been called “The Scarlet Trio” by myself and several others.

Sutton x Richard is Suttard

Sutton x Alex is either Salex or Brawford, depending on what you like. I think the show has been using Salex but a lot of fans prefer Brawford.

Kat x Adena is, of course, Kadena.

Jane x Ryan aka “Pinstripe” is Janestripe

Idk if the Jane and Landon ship has taken off yet but I think it would be Jandon

When referencing the different friendships within the brot3, I use “Bredison” for Sutton and Kat, “Sledison” for Kat and Jane, and “Slady” for Jane and Sutton lol.
